Não vai haver Championship Manager 2011 para o PC, só para o iPhone.

Hi everyone,

 

With the World Cup just hours away the excitement is almost unbearable, I’m a huge fan of the World Cup and it’s a real reminder of why we all love football. I’m sure like us, you’re fired up about South Africa 2010. It seems like I’ve only lived the past 4 years as a preliminary build-up to the World Cup and I’m hoping to catch as many games as possible throughout the competition.

 

England's chances may have taken a blow with the exit of Rio Ferdinand but Dawson isn't a bad back-up and it wouldn’t be an England World Cup campaign without an injury to an important player.

 

I hope you like the new and improved Championship Manager website and forums, this will continue to be the best source of Championship Manager information and insight into Football from some great names. During the entire World Cup the website will host exclusive World Cup content with regular blogs from Mervyn Day and Gavin Strachan offering managerial and player insight as well as 9 brand new podcasts from the Chappers Premier League podcast team with Mark Chapman on the ground in South Africa and the rest of the team back in the studio.

 

I want to update the community first on some of the things that are going on in the world of Championship Manager. Well I’m happy to say the team has been incredibly busy, we have been actively looking at ways to re-focus our vision for the franchise and redefine our business model, so there has been a lot of ideas, exploration and generally ‘things’ going on. I’m excited by the opportunities ahead for Championship Manager.

We have been closely looking at the opportunities in the digital space and as some of you may be aware, two years ago we launched Championship Manager on iPhone and the series has gone from strength to strength. I'm happy to confirm that we are working on Championship Manager 2011 for the iPhone which will be a completely revamped game for the 2010/11 season.

 

What about Championship Manager on the PC? We have decided not to release a PC version for the 2010/11 season. We’ve benefitted from a break in the past as seen with Championship Manager 2010 and I believe will do so again. That said, we will also be announcing several new Championship Manager titles over the course of the coming season. I’ll let you know about this as soon as the time is right, so keep your eyes on the website for further updates.

 

I appreciate that you will all have questions and I’m keen to answer as many of those as we can, so we’ve created a thread here for you to post those questions in over the weekend and I will do my best to answer as many of them as possible over the course of the following week.

 

I look forward to reading those questions, and thank you for your continued support of Championship Manager.

Não foi a Sega mas sim a Sports Interactive que deixou de tar ligada à Eidos e depois ligou-se à Sega criando o FM :smilie_cmpt:

Cada vez pior, assim até é melhor o FM deixa de ter concorrencia se bem que os ultimos CMs nao tenham dado muita!! :p

Já saiu. Como já foi dito anteriormente o CM2011 só foi lançado para iPhone.

Que pena...fazia falta aos jogos manager existir um concorrente que pelo menos conseguisse "chatear" o FM.

No último ano até tinham evoluído bem em alguns aspectos como no 3d.

Poder ser que a pausa seja boa para voltarem à edição 2011 com mais força.

Digo já que joguei um mês do CM 2010 e não desgostei...Acho que tem novidades que o FM adoptar...

Como por exemplo , já não me recordo muito bem:

 

Elaborar bolas paradas de uma maneira que poderá ser mais eficaz...Basicamente fazer uma jogada numa bola parada, como por exemplo os livres à "Camacho" xD

Definir uma táctica para quando a equipe tem posse de bola e outra para quando está a defender..

E se calhar mais alguns pormenores tácticos que acho importante. Porque o FM aos poucos deixa de ter grandes evoluções..Deixando de ser um jogo de simulação de um treinador, passando para apenas quase gerir um clube..

Sim, o CM tal como o conhecíamos muito provavelmente morreu.

 

Penso que agora o novo rumo que o jogo vai levar é versão online, tipo o FMLive. Digo isto porque a Beatiful Games Studios(estúdio que faz o CM) a uns meses atrás assinou um acordo parceria com uma empresa que faz jogos online. Penso que essa será a nova estratégia por parte da empresa em relação ao franchise do CM.
