Regresso da Brand Split' date=' duração da RAW e outras noticias pos-Wrestlemania[/size']

 

- Numa noticia que pode parecer surpreendente, a WWE vai regressar à Brand Split. Isso vai ser apenas nos shows de televisão e não nos PPV's. Segundos as nossas fontes, a Split vai ser fortemente usada, de modo a que os 2 shows sejam únicos. No entanto, vão ser continuadas a ser usadas Tag Teams nos 2 shows, sendo os membros das Tag Teams os unicos a poder aparecer em ambos os shows.

 

- Com a noticia anterior, era obvio o que ia acontecer: a RAW vai passar a ter apenas 2 horas.

 

- Uma das novidades do regresso da Brand Split é o Divas Title, que vai passar a ser exclusivamente da RAW. Fala-se no regresso do Cruiserweight Title para a Smackdown de forma a cada um dos shows ter um feling diferente e dar a fãs diferentes coisas novas. Além disso, fala-se na reforçada aposta da WWE na divisão feminina, com rumores de um ataque sério da WWE à SHIMMER.

 

- Apos a Wrestlemania, fala-se muito das possiveis rivalidades de CM Punk. Apesar de um rematch com Cena ser inevitavel, a sensação na companhia é de que Punk vai continuar a ser campeão, falando-se de Randy Orton, Sheamus e até da contratação de Colt Cabana para uma rivalidade com o campeão durante o Verão

O show pós-Wrestlemania começa com uma enorme exibição de pirotecnia, com as câmaras a mostrar a arena completamente cheia antes de passar a Michael Cole e Jerry “The King” Lawler, que nos dâo as boas-vindas. No entanto, não tem tempo para dizer mais nada, pois ouve-se “Time to play the Game” em Brooklyn e a arena vai à loucura, dando as boas-vindas ao COO, Triple H!

O público responde de forma extremamente negativa à entrada do campeão da WWE, CM Punk e do seu manager , Paul Heyman. No entanto, isso não para Punk que se dirige ao ringue com um sorriso de orelha a orelha.

 

“Blah blah blah Hunter. No one cares about that. No one cares about you or Brock Lesnar – with all respect Paul . There is only one reason why people came to Brooklyn tonight: to see the greatest WWE Champion of all time, the Undisputed Best in The World, a man that has defeated John Cena one on one so many times that is not even funny, CM PUNK! So, finish your little speech and make sure you don’t take 20 minutes like you did in 2004”

O público torna-se ensurdecedor com a entrada de Vickie Guerrero, que serve como General Manager.

Match 1: Divas Champion Kaitlyn vs Tamina

Um combate de Divas surpreendentemente longo para Divas (7 minutos!), e surpreendentemente decente. No entanto, Kaitlyn não conseguiu a vitória, pois, do nada, uma mulher estranha de cabelo e roupas pretas aparece, atacando a campeã e dando a vitória a Kaitlyn

Winner: Tamina

 

Depois do final do combate, a mulher misteriosa continua a atacar Kaitlyn, tendo de ser parada por Natalya! Esta começa aos berros com a novata, que apenas sorri e sai da arena.

 

Match 2: Los Voladores Mascarados vs 3 Man Band (Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal)

Um combate de Tag Team bastante aberto, com os 3MB a parecerem uma equipa credível pela primeira vez! Claro que ajudou o facto dos Voladores ainda estarem a sentir os efeitos do TLC da noite anterior. No entanto, isso não foi suficiente para os parar, conseguindo uma vitória que os relança para a frente da Tag Team Division

Vamos para os bastidores, onde encontramos Matt Striker a conseguir encontrar a misteriosa mulher que atacou Kaitlyn

 

“Miss, miss, sorry, can I have a word with you?”

 

“Sure, go ahead and ask what you want, you drone”

 

“I have to ask: who are you and why did you attack the Divas champion?”

 

“Who am I? My name is Paige, which you would’ve known if any of you ever even bothered to watch NXT. And why did I attack Kailtyn? Because she is a part of a problem that affects our society, that the unworthy, just because they are considered “pretty” or “marketable” they get ahead of everyone. I trained with Kaitlyn, and everyone considered me better than Kaitlyn. However, because I did not fit what they considered “profitable” and Kaitlyn did, she got a shot and I did not: I was forced to toil away in developmental and now she’s the Divas champion and I was just fired last night. So, I decided to take matters in my own hands and show the world why I deserved to get everything that Kaitlyn got. So, Kaitlyn, if you really believe that you deserved everything you got, face me at Backlash. I ask of you to do so.”

 

“So, do you not have a contract with WWE?”

 

“Yeah, and watch what I just did.”

 

Depois de ter ditto isto, Striker faz sinal à equipa de seguranças que leva Kaitlyn para fora da arena.

 

Match 3: Intercontinental Champion Sheamus vs Brad Maddox

O novo campeão Intercontinental Sheamus teve o seu primeiro combate com o título defrontando o auto proclamado “Most Handsome Man in the World” Brad Maddox. Apesar de um combate com uma duração decente, Sheamus não teve grandes problemas em derrotar Maddox.

Winner: Intercontinental Champion Sheamus

 

Imediatamente após o combate terminar, Wade Barret ataca Sheamus, e temos uma brawl por toda a arena durante largos minutos. Passam pelo público, pelo backstage e mesmo pelas máquinas de pipocas, antes de voltaram ao ringside, onde Barret absolutamente destroi Sheamus com um Wasteland em cima da mesa dos comentadores!

 

Match 4: - WWE Tag Team Titles – Team Hell No © vs Primo and Epico

Os campeões tiveram um bom combate contra uma boa equipa em Primo e Epico. Apesar das tentativas dos desafiadores, não conseguem derrotar os Kane e Daniel Bryan, que mantem assim o título

Winners: Team Hell No (retain the Title)

 

Depois do combate, Rhodes e Sandow atacam Bryan e Kane. Com a resistência dos campeões, os Rhodes Scholars contam com a ajuda dos Prime Time Players! No entanto, Brodus Clay e Tensai aparecem para o salvamento, ajudando os campeões a manter os contenders à distância.

 

Depois de todo o caos, passamos para os bastidores, onde temos mais um video dos S.H.I.E.L.D

“You see Matt, no one understands how I felt last night. No one understands how I feel tonight. Everyone can say that I have a pretty good career. 10 time WWE Champion, Royal Rumble Winner, headlined countless Wrestlemanias. However, there is something that haunts me, that hovers above my head. I have never defeated CM Punk one on one. That is something that bothers me. That is something that I cannot live with. I have to win tonight. I have to get another shot at CM Punk, to stop him from getting away with the WWE Title. I need this”

 

Match 5: - #1 Contender for the WWE Title – John Cena vs Ryback vs Triple H

Um combate extremamente importante e que deu ao show um feel de show grande. Durante cerca de 30 minutos, o público esteve ao rubro, com os 3 homens a terem oportunidades de ganhar o combate. No entanto, o final chegou depois de Triple H aplicar um Pedigree em Ryback. Com o público ao rubro, H ia para a pin mas John Cena atira-o para fora do ringue e consegue a vitória, marcando mais um Cena vs Punk para o Backlash.

Winner: John Cena

 

Após o combate, ouve-se a música de CM Punk que aparece na rampa, sorri e levanta o título

O show começa logo com o novo World Heavyweight Champion , Mark Henry, com o título à volta do ombro e a dirigir-se para o ringue.

 

“I told everyone that I could not be stopped. You really thought that Alberto Del Rio could stop me. Alberto Del Rio really thought he could defeat me. He was wrong and now he has been inducted into the Hall of Pain: No one can stop me. I am the most dominant man in WWE and the Hall of Pain is only going to get bigger.”

O público explode com a entrada de Alberto Del Rio, o homem que Henry derrotou na Wrestlemania, acompanhado pelo seu amigo, Ricardo Rodriguez.

 

"Mark, I will give you one thing: you are one tough hombre. You are big and strong: However, you will not defeat me again. I am invocking my rematch clause right now!”

 

“Anytime Alberto. When do you want your face punched in?”

Although I would love to see both of you fight tonight, that is a very big match, and I will not just give it away for free on TV *BOOS* However, I’m making it official: Mark Henry is defending his World Heavyweight Title at Backlash against Alberto Del Rio! *CHEERS* For tonight, both of you are having matches. Alberto, you are going to face Dolph Ziggler and Mark, you are facing Randy Orton in tonight’s Main Event!”

 

Match 1: United States Champion “All American American” Jack Swagger vs Heath Slater

O público dá um bom excelente pop para o novo campeão que conseguiu calar Antonio Cesaro e mostrar que um americano conseguia derrotar o suiço. Continou a onda de vitória com uma vitória fácil frente a Heat Slater

Winner: United States Champion “All American American” Jack Swagger

 

Depois do combate, Cesaro aparece de imediato, tendo a companhia de um jovem louro desconhecido.

 

“Congratulations Mr.Swagger. At Wrestlemania, I was proven wrong. I referenced for months that no American could ever defeat me, but I was obviously mistaken. You were the better man last Sunday and for that, I congratulate you. With that said, I am using my rematch clause to schedule a match. Given that I was ill prepared at Wrestlemania, I am asking you to agree to a match at Backlash.”

 

“Anytime, anyplace Cesaro. I am a fighting champion and I will defend this title against anyone!”

 

“Of course you will. To help me train, I would like to introduce to you my new training partner, Mr.Kassius Ohno. I have already fought him and he was one of the best American wrestlers I have ever faced.”

 

“Thank you for the kind words Mr. Cesaro. I have fought all over the world, and after some time on NXT, I was given the chance to fight at WWE. With that chance, I want to prove that I’m not only one of the best wrestlers in the world, but the best. I am issuing a open challenge for everyone to face me right now.”

Match 2: Kassius Ohno vs Rey Mysterio

Um surpreendente candidato a TV Match of the Year, com Ohno e Mysterio a dar tudo por tudo para conseguir vitória, durante cerca de 18 minutos! A vitória surge para Rey Mysterio, mas por DQ, depois de Ohno ser desqualificado por usar violência excessiva

Winner: Rey Mysterio (by DQ)

 

Passamos para o escritório de Booker T, onde ele se encontra com Teddy Long.

 

“Playa, do you really think that people will be excited for this?”

 

“Of course they will. We have to make ourselves stand out. RAW has the Divas division, we are going to revive the Cruiserweight Division *mild cheers* At Backlash, we are going to have a match for the Cruiserweight Title. We will announce the participants in that match during the month, but the Universe will not be disappointed”

 

Match 3: Alberto Del Rio vs Dolph Ziggler

Outro excelente combate na Smackdown, e no mesmo show! Alberto e Ziggler lutam durante cerca de 20 minutos, com a vitória a surgir para Ziggler depois da interfência de AJ e de Big E.Langston

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

 

“See? Not even a former champion can stop the Show Off. With my guaranteed title shot, the Champion can never feel safe, even if he’s a monster like Mark Henry.”

 

* BREAK THE WALLS DOWN *

 

Jericho entra no ringue com um microfone.

 

“Of course you think that, given that everywhere you go, you have Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum right there! If anyone wants to fight, they have to be watching 3 people at the same time.”

 

Ziggler sorri e dá o sinal a Big E para atcar, e este deixa Jericho no chão, depois de aplicar o seu finisher!

 

“If you really think that I can’t defeat you without help? Of course I can: At Backlash, let’s fight INSIDE A STEEL CAGE!!!”

 

Match 4: El Generico vs Drew McIntyre

El Generico estreia-se na WWE sobre uma indiferença quase total do público, mas consegue ganhar algum apoio durante o combate, conseguindo a vitória com o seu BRAINBUSTAH!

Winner: El Generico

 

Match 5: The Funkzillas vs The Rhodes Scholars

Brodus e Tensai tentam ganhar ímpeto para uma possível candidatura ao título, enquanto Rhodes e Sandow esperam manter-se na luta. Os Funkzillas iam conseguir uyma grande vitória, mas foram impedidos através da interferência dos Prime Time Players, que entregam a vitória numa bandeja aos Rhodes Scholars.

Um bom combate entre duas das estrelas da WWE, com a vitória a sorrir a Mark Henry, depois do World Strongest Slam

O Show abre com CM Punk no ringue, acompanhado de um microfone e por Paul Heyman.

 

“Really? Am I really facing John Cena again? Haven’t I beaten him enough times to embarrass him? Haven’t I proved that I am so much better than he is, in every aspect of wrestling? The fact that I’m still the champion after facing him at Wrestlemania should be enough proof that he’s never gonna defeat me!”

 

* MY TIME IS NOW *

 

Como sempre, uma reacção mista a John Cena, mas, como sempre, ele ignora a reacção e dirige-se ao ringue.

 

“Ok Punk. You and me are going to dance one more time. We have fought countless times, with you always coming on top.”

 

“Even he knows that Paul. It’s ridiculous that I have to face him again, just ridiculous.”

 

“You might think it’s ridiculous, but I see this as me getting another shot at the champion. If you are that better than me, you must be feeling really confident about this match, right?”

 

“Of course I’m confident, you have never defeated me one on one. I’m not the Lex Luthor to your Superman, because Lex Luthor always loses. I’m not the Joker to your Batman, because The Joker needs Batman, and I can’t stand you: I’m your Kryptonite, I’m your Batman, I’m the man that lurks in your nightmares, the man that you know you can’t defeat.”

 

“I will give you one thing, you sure seem like you have me all figured out, don’t you? So, if you feel that confident, you will hear a proposal that I have to make to you, that I feel you’ll like. Like thay say, I’m gonna make you an offer you can’t refuse.”

 

“I very much doubt it, but go ahead.”

 

“I want you to accept a No Disqualifications Match.”

 

“So, you want me to basically give away my champion’s advantage? Why in the hell would I do that John? Why would I take away my biggest advantage?”

 

“Because, if you defeat me, I will never challenge you for that title again. If you defeat me, I will never bother you, as you say.”

 

O público vai à loucura, com toda a gente chocada com a proposta que John Cena fez ao campeão. Punk reage de maneira calma e conferencia com Paul Heyman.

 

“So, if I defeat you, you never fight me for this title? Is that whay you’re saying? *Cena anui* And all that I have to do is give away my champion’s advantage and accept a No-DQ Match? *Cena concorda outra vez* You got yourself a deal.”

 

Punk estende a mão, e Cena aperta-a. Cole e King passam-se nos comentários, dizendo que Cena pode estar a pagar um preço alto demais.

 

Match 1: Christian vs Chad Collyer

Este combate marca o regresso de umas das estrelas mais populares na WWE e a estreia de Chad Collyer na WWE. Christian parecia ter o combate perfeitamente dominado até que as luzes se apagaram e se ouviu a música dos S.H.I.E.L.D. Quando as luzes regressaramos S.H.I.E.L.D estão a atacar Christian, e o arbitro tem de acabar com o combate.

Winner: Christian by DQ

 

Mas isso não marcou o final do ataque dos S.H.I.E.L.D com o grupo a voltar a atacar o carismática canadiano. Porém, ouve-se a música de Randy Orton, que nem devia estar na arena esta noite, pois é uma Superstar da Smackdown, mas o “Viper” começa a atacar os 3 membros do grupo, mas não é rapidamente deitado ao chão. O público fica ainda mais ao rubro quando se ouve a música de William Regal e o inglês veterano corre para o ringue, tendo não o grupo como alvo, mas apenas atacando Dean Ambrose. No entanto, Ambrose não se encontra sozinho no ringue e Regal é derrotado também, deixando assim os S.H.I.E.L.D. vitoriosos.

 

Vamos agora para os bastidores, onde se encontra Vickie a falar ao telefone, quando é interrompida por Kaitlyn, que faz sinal que quer falar com a Acting General Manager da RAW. Vickie desliga o telémovel e vira-se para Kaitlyn.

 

“Excuse me, is there something I can do for my Divas Champion?”

 

“There is Vickie. Give me a match against Paige. Make it for the title for all I care, I just want to fight her.”

 

“You mean that girl that attacked you last week?”

 

“Yes. I need to settle some old scores with her.”

 

“I would love to do that, but she does not have a contract with WWE, so, you cannot have a match with her *público assobia*”

 

“Why?”

 

“Because, like I said to you, she is not a member of WWE. If she was, I would more than gladly have you two fight it out, but I cannot have one of my employers fight a random people.”

 

Match 2: Intercontinental Champion Sheamus vs Fandango

O campeão intercontinental tem de defrontar mais um estreante no show de hoje, defrontando o dançarino Fandango. Apesar de ter sido um combate com uma duração aceitavel (Cerca de 10 minutos), Sheamus nunca teve grandes problemas e conseguiu a vitória.

Winner: Intercontinental Champion Sheamus

Um combate de Tag Team com uma variante engraçada, dado que as equipas que iam participar no combate seguintes (Tensai/Brodus e os Rhodes Scholars9 se encontram à beira do ringue. Um combate bastante disputado, com a vitória a surgir para os PTP depois de uma pequena ajuda dos Rhodes Scholars.

O combate entre as 2 equipas iniciou-se imediatamente a seguir ao combate anterior, e outra vez disputado. A vitória volta a sorrir aos heels, com mais uma ajuda da outra equipa heel.

Match 5: Divas Champion Kaitlyn vs Layla

Um combate disputado entre as 2 Divas, mas a vitória sorri a Layla depois de mais um ataque de Paige a Kaitlyn.

Paige continua a atacar Kaitlyn até que a segurança a para. Vickie volta a aparecer, com cara de quem está prestes a ter um esgotamento.

Match 6: WWE Champion vs The Miz

Um excelente Main Event entre o “Best in the World” e uma das boas superstars na WWE: Apesar de Miz saber que uma vitória neste combate iria fazer com que Vickie pensasse nele no futuro, quando necessitasse de escolher um novo #1 Contender, CM Punk provou ser, como ele diz, o melhor do Mundo.
