[Wrestling] Entrevista a Kyle O'Riley

"1-How did you began hooked to wrestling?

When I got out of highschool I began my wrestling training at the ECCW "In-pain asylum" which was the local independent wrestling school. I haven't looked back since!

2- Who inspired you?

I was inspired by a lot of the typical wrestling heroes to those of my age demographic. Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Steve Austin, The Undertaker. The British Bulldogs as well

3-Tell us about your wrestling training with Davey Richards

Davey has been a huge help in me pursuing wrestling on a larger stage. He helped me a lot on getting out of Canada and getting my foot in the door at Ring of Honor. He's a very good friend of mine.

4-What would be your dream match? Why

I would really love to wrestle Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) in a singles match one day because he's another dude that I looked up to early in my career and offered my very good consistent advice.

5-How did the ROH oportunity appeared? How did you felt?

I started wrestling pre-show matches in September 2009 and for a solid year drove to every possible show in the hopes of getting a match. Eventually in August 2010 they signed me to a contract. Davey helped a lot in getting me the initial look and through my persistence and reliability I guess they decided they wanted to hire me. I was/am very grateful, ROH is a place I had my sights set on working for.

6-Did you enjoyed to have a team with Adam Cole?

I loved teaming with Adam Cole. Some of my favorite matches were with us as a team.

7-How is he backstage?

He is in an incredibly humble, friendly and caring dude backstage. We are very dear friends and he was a groomsman at my wedding.

8-Who was your best opponent so far?

Eddie Edwards I would say is my favorite opponent.

9-How was it to team up with your mentor Davey Richards in 2012?

Teaming with Davey was a very fun time and we had a lot of cool matches together. We still team from time to time on local indies.

Let us talk about PWG

10-What are the main diferences from ROH to PWG? Either backstage and in-ring stuff

ROH and PWG have quite a few differences besides the obvious choices. In ROH I am in a heel tag team, whereas in PWG I am a babyface singles wrestler.

11-Where do you feel more confortable to work on?

I am more confident in wrestling in ring than I am with backstage segments and promos, but I feel I am improving in that department. I just have to keep practicing!

You won the Battle of Los Angeles. First of all congratulations; now, tell us:

12-Is it hard to wrestle for 3 days in a row?

BOLA was 4 matches in 2 days, and yes it was very difficult both mentally and physically on me. It was a huge achievement for me and my career and I'm very proud of it.

13-Do you had a special training for that particular event? If so tell us

I just maintained my usual training regimen, lots of grappling.

14-How is it to work with Bobby Fish?

Working with Bobby Fish is incredible. We have so much fun together and I'm very happy with what we are producing together as a team both in promos and in matches.

15-Do you plan to be a tag team wrestler or do you want a singles breakthrough?

I very much enjoy the tag team stuff we are doing and hope to maintain it as long as possible.

I understand that you have diabetes

16-How does a wrestler copes with that?

Living with Type 1 diabetes can be very difficult. The travel and the in ring toll it takes on your body is quite strenuous. I have been dealing with it for a long time and it's almost second nature now. Once in a while it will slip away from me but I usually get it under control shortly thereafter.

17-Do you have any special caution with nutrition?

I always try to maintain a balanced diet, high in protein and vegetables. My wife and I enjoy cooking together so I have a good support system in having healthy, homemade meals.

18-What can we expect from you in the near future? Can we see you in TNA (like the Wolves) or WWE (like Bryan, Hero and Castagnoli)?

In the near future I just hope to keep having the best matches I can possibly have and be the best wrestler I can possibly be. Hopefully I'll keep getting good opportunities to be in the ring with some of the best guys out there! Hopefully one day, as for now, I'm content doing my thing in ROH and PWG.

Thank you for having the time for this interview, it meant a lot. And good luck in your future

Hope those answers are okay for you man! Let me know! Thanks again.

Good job.
