Ele tinha pedido no final do ano passado para o Ted escolher outra pessoa e, surpreendentemente, o Ted escolheu-me a mim. O contrato do Terry acaba daqui a uns 3 anos. Nós não avançariamos para qualquer oferta contratual nesse caso. Receberias o Lex e o Ron. Em troca, nós queriamos o Bret, o Shawn e…” “O irmão do Bret, o puto” “Exato Dusty. O Owen.

El Colosso Publicado 17 Fevereiro 2021 (editado) World Championship Wrestling Wednesday, Week 1 February 1992 Announcers: Jim Ross and Paul E. Dangerously We see a video package of last Friday’s House Show in North Carolina, where we can see Sting pinning Lex Luger to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. And with that, we go directly to Tony Schiavone in the interview space. TS: Ladies and Gentleman, welcome to World Championship Wrestling! We have a lot of exciting action for you fine folks tonight, including the debut ot Owen Hart and a huge Main Event where Sting teams up with Dustin Rhodes to take on two members of the Dangerous Alliance, the United States Champion “Ravishing” Rick Rude and the World Television Champion, “Superstar” Steve Austin. However, there were some major developments last Friday at a live show held in North Carolina as you just saw at the top of the show. And with that in mind, I would like to welcome the NEW WCW World Heavyweight Champion, STING! Sting comes out to the adoration and cheers of the crowd, posing with his newly won World Title ST: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TONY! IF SURE FEELS GREAT TO BE HERE IN ALABAMA AS THE NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! TS: It sure does Champ. ST: And now that I have won the title, I make a promise. Anytime, anyplace, anyone. If you want to take down the Champ, just go ahead and do it! WOOOOOOOOOOOO! As Sting finishes up that last sentence, as in cue, the crowd starts booing as we see the United States Champion, Rick Rude, make his way to the podium. RR: Congratulations Sting. You are our new World Heavyweight Champion, and that puts you at the top of the wrestling world. But I know something that these grease hogs *BOOOOOOOOOOO* here in Alabama do not know. You are not the best wrestler in the world today, because at Halloween Havoc, you lost your United States Title to me, in the middle of that ring. And well, as far as me and the Dangerous Alliance think, that makes me the undisputed #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Title. And trust me Sting, the next time that we meet one on one, the result will stay the same. You will be pinned and I will be declared the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. See you later tonight, Chump. Steiner Brothers vs Rip Rogers and Black Cat vs Citação In a very quick 6 minute squash match, The Steiner Brothers beat Black Cat and Rip Rogers After their win, Rick and Scott issue a challenge to The Young Pistols for the US Tag Team Titles. Backstage, we see The Diamond Mine welcome their new member, Shawn Michaels! They claim that they are better than gold and that tonight, they will have fun in the town! (60) Shawn Michaels and The Diamond Studd vs Fiebreaker Chip and The Italian Stallion vs Citação Another showcase tag team match, this one was all about putting the newcomer Shawn Michaels over, which it did, since his team picked up the easy win Cactus Jack vs Ron Bass vs Citação Yet another squash, this one was all about Cactus Jack and his insane offense After his match, Jack starts calling out Vader, saying that the Big Van would never be able to hurt him! Vader obliges and completely destroys Jack, but Jack keeps getting back and asking for more! Before a match, Arn Anderson and Larry Zbyszko cut a promo on the WCW World Tag Team Champions, saying that they might have gotten lucky on Halloween Havoc with they not being prepared to face Steamboat, but that next time they faced, they would be ready and take back the Titles. (68) Arn Anderson vs Arachnaman vs Citação Easy win here for Arn Anderson, just beating up Arachnaman We go backstage where Alexandra York hypes up her enterprise, York Enterprises. Owen Hart & Brian Pillman vs Pat Rose & Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker vs Citação Slightly more competitive than the previous bouts on the night, the result was never in doubt though. Hart and Pillman pick up the hard fought win Schiavone announces that next week, Owen Hart and Brian Pillman will face off to decide the #1 Contender for the WCW Light Heavyweight Title! Hart and Pillman share a handshake and promise to give their best next week! (50) Sting and Dustin prepare themselves to tonight’s HUGE Main Event, where they will face Rick Rude and Steve Austin! Z-Man vs Terrence Taylor vs Citação A pretty competitve affair that went back and forth, Z-Man picked up the win after around 7 minutes Tony gets an interview with Cactus Jack, still bleeding from the attack from Vader, but Jack does not say a simple word, just laughs! (58) Sting & Dustin Rhodes vs Rick Rude and Steve Austin vs Citação A lot of gold in display in this match, with every single participant holding a title. By far the most competitve match of the evening, The Dangerous Alliance spent most of it in control of Dustin Rhodes. Sting eventually got the hot tag and was running wild, with the referee completely losing control of the bout. However, we never got an ending, as the TV time ran out and the broadcast feed got cut without a clear winner! WCW Main Event Spoiler Thursday, Week 1 February 1992 Announcers: Tony Schiavone and Dusty Rhodes Jushin Thunder Liger vs Pat Rose [Won by Liger] (58) Brian Pillman hypes up his match next week against Owen Hart! (44) Recap of WCW’s Main Event last Wednesday! (77) Richard Morton and Thomas Rich vs PN News & Big Josh [Won by Morton and Rich] (48) Alexandra York celebrates the win of her team! (43) We see shots of The Diamond Mine out in the town, with Michaels proving to be quite a ladies man! (58) WCW World Television Title Match Steve Austin © vs Marcus Alexander Bagwell [Won by Austin] (49) After Austin’s win, the Dangerous Alliance cut a promo on Sting and his associates! El Colosso Publicado 17 Fevereiro 2021 World Championship Wrestling Wednesday, Week 2 February 1992 Announcers: Jim Ross and Paul E. Dangerously JR: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to World Championship Wrestling. My name is Jim Ross and I am joined, of course, by the ever opinionated Paul E. Dangerously. PD: Shut up JR, WCW should pay me for my opinions, because I am always right! JR: Ignoring that, we have a hell of a show for you fans. We are deciding the #1 Contender for the WCW Light Heavyweight Championship in a match between Owen Hart and Brian Pillman! PD: These two are some of the very best Light Heavyweights in the world today, and it should be a hell of a match. The Dangerous Alliance is looking very carefully. JR: We also have the debut of Bret Hart and of the Miracle Violence Connection, Stan Hansen and Terry Gordy. Terry Gordy, of course, is more know State side by his long time partnership with Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin in the Freebirds. PD: Yes, but his partnership with Stan Hansen is a new wrinkle in his career ever since he went to Japan. He is a 6 time AJPW Unified World Tag Team Champion, two of those with Hansen, he is a 3 time AJPW Real World Tag League Winner and is even a 2 time AJPW Triple Crown Champion! He has had a lot of success in Japan, without a doubt. JR: Hansen is no slouch of his own, of course. His legendary tag team with the late great Bruiser Brody is still talked about today, and he is also a multi-time AJPW Tag Team Champion, World Tag League winner and Triple Crown Champion! Speaking of that, we have an electric Main Event tonight… PD: An unfair Main Event, you mean. JR: Unfair or not, Rick Rude is putting his United States Championship on the line against Japanese sensation, The Great Muta! Should be one hell of a contest. PD: Rick Rude is going to prevail, keep the US Title and prove, once and for all, why he should be the undisputed #1 Contender for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. JR: With that all out of the way, let’s go to the ring! Owen Hart vs Brian Pillman vs Citação A very good showcase for these two young wrestlers, they gave it all to win this match and a Light Heavyweight Title shot. However, after about 10 minutes of exciting in ring action, Owen Hart prevailed, and will face Jushin Thunder Liger in the future. After their great match, Pillman cannot hide his unhappiness at the loss. However, he still shakes the hand of Owen and thanks him for the contest. Backstage, we see Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin rocking out, when they spot their old partner, Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy! They approach him, claiming that it’s great to have the band back together. Gordy smiles and says that, while he loves being a Freebird, he is already part of another group, when Stan Hansen also approaches. There is a bit of tension between Hansen and the Freebirds, but Hayes and Garvin nod and back away. The Miracle Violence Connection vs Bill Kazmaier and Marcus Alexander Bagwell vs Citação Easy, dominant win for Miracle Violence Connection, where they absolutely destroyed their opponents In an interview with Tony Schiavone, Smothers and Armstrong say that while they respect the Steiners, they have not done anything to be granted a US Tag Team title opportunity! Bret Hart vs Pat Rose vs Citação Bret Hart is making his debut here, and he showed why he is one of the top talents in the world, easily disposing of Pat Rose After his match, Bret is celebrating a very solid win. After some time celebrating, he starts to head to the back. Just before he can get through the curtains, Paul E. Dangerously intercepts him, with a microphone on his hand. PD: Bret, let me be the first to welcome you to World Championship Wrestling! This company is better off with you having joined, let me tell you that. Bret looks suspiciously at Paul. PD: Now that that is out of the way, I have a business proposal for you Brey. I do not know if you are aware of this, but I manage a couple of wrestlers here in WCW. They represent the cream of the crop, the very best that professional wrestling has to offer. Both the current United States Heavyweight Champion and World Television Champion are in that group, and they are joined by 3 of the very best that this sport has to offer: Arn Anderson, Larry Zbyszko and Bobby Eaton. We are the elite when it comes to professional wrestling and we only want the very best athletes that this sport has to offer. That is where my proposal comes in. You are one of those very best athletes. You are a former World Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion and King of the Ring. You have held gold in every company that you have joined and are one of the proudest examples of technical wrestling that exists in the sport. So, I am offering you a spot in the Dangerous Alliance. You don’t have to answer right now, of course, but let me tell you that with joining the Dangerous Alliance comes a lot of money, a lot of gold and, even more importantly, a lot of respect. Think about it Paul E. extends a hand for Bret to shake it, as a sign of respect. Bret looks at the hand, looks at Paul E. and listens to the cries of the fans begging him not to do it. He gives a little smile and leaves through the curtains, without saying a single word The Steiner Brothers vs Richard Morton and Thomas Rich vs Citação After the comments later on today by The Young Pistols, the Steiners were a house on fire on this match. However, facing an experienced dua like Morton and Rich is never easy, and they did very well picking up the win Sting is backstage welcoming Bret Hart to WCW, where he warns Bret of Paul E. He claims that the man cannot be trusted and extends an hand. Bret, once again, looks at him, thanks him for the welcome and leaves, leaving Sting hanging! We see a recap of last week’s attack on Cactus Jack by Vader. JR informs us that Jack has suffered some mild injuries, but that he has refused medical treatment for them! Steamboat & Rhodes vs The Fabulous Freebirds vs Citação The WCW World Tag Team Champions were very impressive on this match, with Ricky especially shining bright. They took care of business and beat a team that is always a contender on the Tag Division. After their match, Steamboat and Rhodes get assaulted by Arn and Zbyszko! The attack leaves both of the champions on the mat, with Dustin even being cut open! Backstage, another video of The Diamond Mine having fun and spending money in Las Vegas! WCW United States Title Rick Rude © vs The Great Muta vs Citação A bit of a surprising match, given that WCW prefers to keep title defences usually to their big events. However, the fans were treated to an excellent match here, with Muta and Rude going blow for blow. However, Rude, in the end, would prove to be too much for the NJPW star, keeping his US Title after about 18 minutes of action. After a very hard fought win, Rude and the Dangerous Alliance are attacking Muta, when Sting and the Steiner Brothers come to the rescue! WCW Main Event Spoiler Thursday, Week 2 February 1992 Announcers: Tony Schiavone and Dusty Rhodes Alexandra York introduces the new member of York Enterprises, Christopher Benoit! Christopher Benoit vs Big Josh [won by Benoit] The Young Pistols vs Sudden Impact [won by Young Pistols] Another video package of the Diamond Mine in Vegas! Video hyping up The Miracle Violence Connection! Barry Windham vs Rip Rogers [won by Windham] WCW World Television Title Steve Austin © vs Brian Pillman [won by Austin] After the match, Pillman is upset. He exchanges a few words with Austin in the ring, who replies, leaving Pillman very surprised and thoughtful, as Austin leaves the ring. 1 Compartilhar este post Link para o post
El Colosso Publicado 19 Fevereiro 2021 World Championship Wrestling Wednesday, Week 3 February 1992 Announcers: Jim Ross and Paul E.Dangerously Steiner Brothers vs George South and Scott Armstrong vs Citação Pretty routine win here for the Steiners, totally dominating South and Armstrong After their win, Rick and Scott reveal that they have been informed that they will get a US Tag Team Title shot at Spring Stampede and that the Young Pistols time as champions is getting shorter by the day! Brian Pillman is backstage with Tony, where he wishes luck to both Owen Hart and Jushin Liger in their match at Spring Stampede, but that he will not rest until he regains the WCW Light Heavyweight Championship! The Miracle Violence Connection vs Sudden Impact vs Citação The MVC totally dominate their unexperienced opponents, picking up a win in around 5 minutes As they are making their way backstage, Miracle Violence Connection gets intercepted by the new WCW Board of Directors Representative, Dusty Rhodes, who loudly asks to speak with them. In the interview area, Sting and Dustin Rhodes hype up the Main Event for tonight, a rematch between themselves, Rick Rude and Steve Austin, with the stipulation that if the broadcast time runs out, the feed will stay on! The Fabulous Freebird vs Bret and Owen Hart vs Citação A very solid tag team contest, where Bret and Owen show they obvious tag team chemistry, and that helps them beat the more experienced duo of the Freebirds. The feed cuts backstage, where we see The Young Pistols calling out Rick and Scott Steiner. TS: Rick, Scott, where are you big dumb idiots? Come out and play! SA: Yeah boys, let’s have a shoot out at dawn, let’s get it on! They seem to be itching for a fight, and they might just get it, as Rick and Scott exit from their lockers. TS: There you idiots are! RS: What the hell do you want? TS: We? We want a fight, big fellow. Let’s not wait for Spring Stampede, let’s start to rumble right now! SA: YEAH, LET’S RUMBLE BOYS! As Armstrong says this, Rick and Scott get blindsided. Not by the Young Pistols, but by Anderson and Zbyszko! The two members of the Dangerous Alliance start stomping on the Michigan duo, helped, of course, by The Young Pistols. AA: This will teach you to not stick your nose on something that is not your business! Larry, get the chair! With the assistance of the Young Pistols and Zbyszko, Arn Anderson drives both Rick and Scott to the ground with thunderous DDT, onto a chair! Both Rick and Scott are down, bleeding for their heads! AA: Nicely done lads, the distraction that we needed. TS: Mr.Anderson, and the agreement? AA: Of course, of course. Let it not be said that the Dangerous Alliance does not keep their word. As he finishes the sentence, Arn Anderson pulls out a wad of dollars bills from his pocket and gives them to The Young Pistols. AA: 1000$ each, as agreed. Pleasure doing business with you gentlemen. TS: Anytime. Hey, if we can kick their ass and get paid for it, is there anything better? AA: I don’t think there is, son. *leans on the Steiners* Just a reminder of what happens when you mess with the Dangerous Alliance. Do not forget it! Still backstage, The Fabulous Freebirds are licking their chops after getting beaten by The Harts, when The Diamond Mine walks in their locker room, and they spend a couple of minutes insulting the legends. Michaels Hayes tries to insult them back and it looks like a brawl could ensue, but Jimmy Garvin and his cold head prevails, and both teams walk away. Big Van Vader vs Big Josh vs Citação Big Josh actually tried to start on offence, but Vader just shrugged off the attacks and destroyed the lumberjack to pick up the win. Vader is celebrating his win and walking backstage, when he gets assaulted by a crazed Cactus Jack! They brawl for a bit when a host of producers and referees are able to stop them! Back at the interview area, Tony welcomes Dusty Rhodes! He asks him what the Dream is doing there and Dusty says that the WCW Board of Directors had sent him there to find a suitable #1 contender for Sting, and that he has done so! Sting will be facing Stan Hansen, with the WCW World Heavyweight Title on the line, at Spring Stampede! Dusty gets interrupted by Rick Rude, who is furious with the decision and claims that he is the undisputed #1 Contender! Dusty says that Rude needs to calm down and focus on defending his WCW United States Title, which he will do at Spring Stampede, against Bret Hart! Brian Pillman vs Z-Man vs Citação Very exciting Light Heavyweight action between two top contenders in the division but, in the end, Brian Pillman prevails Sting & Dustin Rhodes vs Rick Rude and Steve Austin vs Citação One again, just like two weeks ago, a very exciting Main Event. The Dangerous Alliance stayed on top for the vast majority of the match, just wearing down Dustin Rhodes, but the youngster reversed an attempted suples with a suplex of his own. After that, he was able to tag in Sting, that just went wild in the ring, leveling everyone. However, while Sting was attempting a Stinger Splash on Austin, Austin moved the ref in front as a human shield. That allowed Paul E. to interfere with his cellphone, clocking Sting in the head and giving the Dangerous Alliance yet another win over The Icon! El Colosso Publicado 14 Março 2021 World Championship Wrestling Wednesday, Week 4 February 1992 Announcers: Jim Ross and Paul E.Dangerously Christoper Benoit and Mr.Hughes w/ Alexandra York vs Bill Kazmaier and Firebreaker Chip w/ vs Citação Quick match to show off Benoit and Mr.Hughes, who dominated the match pretty easily Paul E.Dangerously still offers a spot to Bret Hart in the Dangerous Alliance, but he has to accept before Spring Stampede and he has to forfeit his US Title shot! Hart just stares at Rude and at the US Title! Sting, Dustin and Steamboat hype up Sting’s title defense against Stan Hansen at Spring Stampede. Brian Pillman vs Rip Rogers vs Citação Pillman is one of the most exciting young talents in WCW and he showed that in this match, beating a very solid Rip Rogers. Paul E is back, and says that there is no better tag team in the world right now than Anderson and Zbyszko, and that they will reclaim the WCW World Tag Team Titles at Spring Stampede! However, they are attacked by the Steiner Brothers, looking for revenge from last week! Shawn Michaels and Diamond Dallas Page vs Sudden Impact vs Citação These 4 are loaded with talent (DDP still has a lot of potential despite being 35 already) and they put on a very solid match here, but duo representing the Diamond Mine ends up victorious! After their match, we see The Diamond Mine go backstage, where once again Studd and Vegas are arguing with the Freebirds. Michaels and DDP calm everyone down, until Michaels superkicks Garvin! That is the signal for Vegas to attack Hayes, which he does, leaving the Freebirds hurting on the ground! Big Van Vader vs Joey Maggs vs Citação Pretty standard dominating win by Vader against Maggs here Harley Race cuts a promo on Vader’s behalf, saying that he does not know that Cactus Jack wants but that, at the Spring Stampede, Vader will destroy Jack once and for all. Steamboat and Rhodes vs Richard Morton and Thomas Rich vs Citação Despite the very high quality of performer that Morton and Rich are, Steamboat and Rhodes are the best tag team in the world right now, and as the WCW World Tag Team Champions, proved that they are indeed a force to be reckoned with by winning this bout. After the very good match between two of the top tag teams in the world, Paul E. gets up from the commentators desk and grabs a microphone. PD: BRET! I have offered you an extremely lucratitive deal last week. I did not get an answer. I did the same thing today, I got no answer. What is the response going to be Bret? Are you going to do the smart thing, and join the Dangerous Alliance, cementing yourself as one of the premier athletes in our sport today? Or are you going go be a coward and choose mediocraty? While Paul was talking, we could see the entirity of the Dangerous Alliance exis the backstage area and join him ringside. We wait for a couple of beats and then the guitar riff of Bret's entrance music plays. He walks to the top of the ramp, with a determined look on his face. BH: Paul, I am new to this company. I am still getting my feet under me, and I know that I have not earned a lot of allies. I do have to say that your offer is tempting. The talent level on the Dangerous Alliance is extremely high *crowd boos* and you have some of the best professional wrestlers in the world under your contract. However, if there is one thing that I desire more than anything else, is competition. I want to show the world that I am the very best professional wrestler in the world, and for me to do that, I have to beat everyone in front of me. So, Paul, I will fight Rick Rude for the Unites States Title at Spring Stampede, and I will WIN THE UNITED STATES TITLE AT SPRING STAMPEDE! Bret Hart has refused the offer from Paul E.! He is not going to join the Dangerous Alliance! They are furious with this and Rude motions for his partners to make their way up the ramp, but Bret Hart is joined by the cavalry! Sting, Dustin Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, Owen Hart, Barry Windham and even the Steiners join Hart at the top of the ramp, daring the Dangerous Alliance for a fight! Rude talks with the members of the Alliance and instead, they exit through the crowd. All except for Steve Austin, who has the next match! Bret Hart gives a response to Paul E.Dangerously and the Dangerous Alliance, while talking to Tony backstage. Bret Hart says that he still does not have a lot of allies here in WCW, but if there is one thing that he can see right now, is that there is now way that he would join forces with the Dangerous Alliance! The Dangerous Alliance are furious and look to be on the verge of attacking Bret, but the arrival of Sting, Steamboat, Rhodes, Windham and Owen Hart makes this a very tense stalemate! WCW World Television Title Match Steve Austin © vs PN News vs Citação Austin continues his very impressive WCW TV Title reign by beating a very game PN News right here. The Dangerous Alliance [Rude, Anderson and Zbyszko] vs Sting and Steiner Brothers vs Citação The in ring quality of the Main Events of World Championship Wrestling never dissapoints, and it did not do so here. One of the best 6 Man Tag Matches in quite sometime in the company, these 6 man went all out for about 18 minutes, trading big move after big move. However, the win came after Steve Austin clobbered Rick Steiner in the head with some brass knuckles, which left him wide open for a Rude Awakening, and for the Dangerous Alliance victory.
