Nigel McGuiness - That's right Mauro. Finn Balor vs Johnny Gargano chapter II. But first we're starting things of with the Cruiserweight Tournament.

Bom combate entre estes dois. Daivari mostra todas as suas qualidades e vê-se que quer provar que merece estar entre os melhores da divisão cruiserweight com toda a sua agressividade nos minutos iniciais.

Damian Priest vem até ao ringue e parece que tem algo a dizer, provavelmente a Dominik Dijakovic depois do ataque na semana passada.

De repente aparece Dominik Dijakovic a correr em direção ao ringue para atacar Damian Priest mas Priest consegue evitar o ataque e Dijakovic acerta em Keith Lee sem querer.
Com Dijakovic preocupado com o que acabou de fazer Damian Priest consegue ataca-lo com um low blow. Com Dijakovic no chão Priest aproveita para acertar com o Reckoning em Keith Lee e roubar o North American Title. Damian Priest sai do ringue com o titulo de Keith Lee.

Combate dominado na sua totalidade por Bianca Belair que nunca consegue o pinfall porque Vanessa Borne intrefere sempre que ela o tenta.
Bianca Belair farta-se e com Aliyah no chão pega num microfone.
Bianca Belair - Hun hun gurl, that's not how i do things around here. If you wanna help your friend so badly let's make this an handicap match, both of yall against me, right now, let's go.
O combate recomeça e desta vez com 2 x 1 Aliyah e Vanessa consegue algum dominio sobre Bianca Belair. Com tags frequentes consegue dominar Belair durante alguns minutos mas não demora muito até Belair ganhar o controlo do combate. Eventualmente Bianca Belair manda Vanessa para fora do ringue, atinge Aliyah com o KOD, faz o mesmo a Vanessa Borne em cima de Aliyah, 1 2 3, Bianca Belair vence com facilidade.

Com o abritro a levantar a mão de Bianca aparece Charlotte que tenta entrar no ringue mas Belair consegue vê-la. Charlotte pensa duas vezes e recua com Bianca a desafia-la a entrar no ringue Charlotte simplesmente levanta o NXT Title enquanto sobe a rampa.

The Brian Kendrick vs Isaiah "Swerve" Scott
Assim que a campainha toca Kendrick sai do ringue tentado jogos psicológicos com Isaiah e indicando que quer um combate lento para evitar a ofensiva de Swerve Scott. Mas depois de alguns segundos fora do ringue Isaiah ataca com um Tope Con Hilo. Depois de colocar Kendrick dentro do ringue Scott avança rapidamente para o pinfall mas Kendrick safa-se aos 2. Volta a sair do ringue e desta vez Isaiah persegue-o no ring side até que Kendrick entra rapidamente no ringue e consegue ganhar vantagem atacando-o quando este tenta entrar. Várias rest holds de Kendrick para desgatar Scott sempre tentado executar o Captain's Hold mas sem sucesso.
Scott consegue o comeback com vários murros e pontapés, mas quando falha um dropkick Kendrick consegue acertar com o Slice Bread Nº2. 1 2.. Swerve safa-se no último milésimo de segundo.
Kendrick começa a ficar frustrado por não conseguir a vitória e tenta de novo o Slice Bread mas desta vez Isaiah consegue escapar. Um pontapé nos joelhos de Kendrick e quando este está de joelho Isaiah acerta com o Last Call. 1 2 3, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott está nas meias finais da próxima semana.

 

Vemos Pete Dunne a chegar de carro ao Performance Center e Matt Riddle está à sua espera à entrada.

 

Mas mal Pete Dunne sai do carro é atacado por Bobby Fish e Kyle O'Reilly. Matt Riddle tenta ajudar mas acaba por não conseguir. A UE deixa os campeões estendidos no chão enquanto mandam bocas "that's what gonna happen at TakeOver boys".

Jack Gallagher vs Joaquin Wilde
Joaquin Wilde consegue surpreender Gallagher devido à sua velocidade mas o combate muda quando o Gentleman acerta com uma cabeçada em Wilde. Com Joaquin no chão Gallagher prende o Achilles Lock e obriga Wilde a desistir.
Jack Gallagher enfrenta Isaiah "Swerve" Scott na outra meia final.

Velveteen Dream aparece no stage deitado no seu sofá, provavelmente tem uma mensagem para o NXT Champ Adam Cole.

 Mas antes de Velveteen começar a falar Adam Cole aparece por trás do sofá e começa a atacar Dream acertando-lhe com o cinto na cabeça deixando Velveteen estendido no chão em frente ao sofá. O segmento acaba com Adam Cole deitado no sofá com os pés por cima de Velveteen Dream e segurando o NXT Title no ar.

Finn Balor vs Johnny Gargano w/ Candice LeRae
O combate começa com vários lock ups mas sempre com Finn Balor a levar a melhor, mostrando que a sua vitória no último TakeOver não foi por sorte. Gargano começa a ficar frustrado e vai até ao ring side ter com Candice LeRae para repensar a sua estratégia.
Tudo muda quando Gargano volta ao ringue, Candice distrai Finn Balor e Gargano aproveita para começar a dominar o combate tentando vários pinfalls mas sempre sem sucesso. No ring side Candice vai gritando para motivar o seu marido "you got this baby".
Balor eventualmente começa a fazer o comeback com um dropkick e Sling Blade, ficando no canto à espera que Gargano se levante para executar o seu dropkick contra o canto mas Gargano consegue evitar a ofensiva e começa ele no ataque. Várias cloclotheslines e forearms de Gargano que sente a confiança a subir depois dos últimos minutos de domínio. Vai até ao ring side dar um beijo a Candice mas quando tenta o Spear através das cordas é contra atacado com um dropkick na cara. Balor tem agora o domínio e uma expressão de mad men na cara, vem ao de cima toda a agressividade de Balor que domina Gargano com vários forearms e pontapés até que.. Candice volta a interferir no combate. Desta vez sobe ao ring side e discute com o arbitro dando oportunidade a Gargano de acertar com um low blow.
Com Finn Balor de joelhos no meio do ringue Gargano faz um call back aos tempos dos DIY mas quando se prepara para o superkick aparece um homem mascarado no stage que fica a olhar para Gargano. Isto distrai tanto Gargano como Candice que perguntam um ao outro "who is that?".
Finn Balor no entanto não quer saber e aproveita para acertar com o 1916 seguindo-se o dropkick contra o canto, Coupe de Grâce, 1 2 3 Finn Balor volta a vencer Johnny Gargano.
Finn Balor festeja no ringue, entretanto Gargano levanta-se, Candice vai confortar o seu marido mas o homem mascarado já não se encontra no stage.
Fica a pergunta no ar, quem custou o combate a Gargano? Talvez tenhamos a resposta no episódio da próxima semana.

KURT ANGLE – Welcome to Friday Night SmackDown, live on Fox. Tonight a very special episode, full of action, filled with exciting matches as we prepare for the forthcoming PPV, Money in the Bank.

COREY – Excuse, Mr. GM, but I’m concerned with your wellbeing after that brutal attack last week. Are you alright? Are you worried that Goldberg will appear here tonight?

KA – Thanks for the concern, Corey. I’m just fine. As for Goldberg, I am not in the least concerned with him. You know why? He’s officially retired. He no longer works here. He’s not allowed in the premises, as a stranger to the show.

Corey – Also, sir, where is Michael Cole? I understand we would be here. I spoke with him earlier in preparation for the show. Ha…Have you fired him?

KA – Of course not! Michael in fact promoted to a more crucial role here in SmackDown, and therefore is unavailable for screen time here tonight.

COREY – So, sir, you’ll be providing commentary with me tonight?

KA – Corey, it’s bigger than commentary. I am here because the SmackDown Superstars need their Commanding Officer at ring side so they can easily come to me with their problems, with no formalisms, none o’ that, you know me. They simply come out here and say “Mr. Commanding Officer, sir”. Say it. Say it, Corey (insists until Corey says so) and expose their issues.

(Camera cuts to the back where the New Day and the Usos meet up)

Kofi – Hey Us’, I just wanna tell y’all I’m sorry for last week. I lost it for a sec, and as my man Big E pointed out right then, that’s not me. I know that.

Jey – That’s cool Kofi. We appreciate your apologies. Yeah that was too much, but we agree that that’s not you. You’re a positive guy, a good man, and that was a momentary lapse.

Kofi- So, no hard feelings?

Jimmy – None my brothers. We have fought extensively all over WWE, all over the world, we have much respect goin’ on between both our teams, and a minor incident won’t affect that.

Big E -See Kof’, I told you thay’d be cool. It’s ya boys, the Usos.

Kofi – Cool man, I’m relief by that. Honest to God. So good luck with rest of the tournament man, I, we, hope to see y’all go all the way and get those titles at Money in the Bank. If no-one else, we’ll be out there in the stands rooting for y’all.

(Camera cuts to a dark room, where Sheamus is sitting alone. He speaks)

Sheamus – Everybody wants to know why I have attacked the Universal Champion Braun Strowman. Why, Sheamus, why. First of all, I didn’t attack the Universal Champion. Oh don’t get me wrong. I’ve beat the hell out of Braun Strowman. He simply IS NOT THE UNIVERSAL CHAMPION. He has no legitimacy.

See, ever since the beginning of year title shots have been just handed out, not earned. First it was Goldberg. He was basically retired, on his couch and just on a whim came here, challenged the Fiend and got the title shot. He didn’t even compete in any other match. Then Roman Reigns actually just enters the stage and simply said two words “I’m next”. Just like that, another Title shot. Then Roman fears some virus and misses Wrestlemania, so arbitrarily Braun Strowman is granted a title shot he did not earn in any way, shape or form.

Now I’ve been with the WWE for a long time. Far longer than almost anyone in this roster. And I dont want to see this company become the laughing stock of this industry. I will not stand idly by while people upstairs are just mistreating, mishandling a once prestigious title, treating it like some trinket. I will restore the Universal’s Championship prestige, whether folks in charge want it or not. Now Braun, I’ve beat you up really bad and probably you want some vengeance. And you can get it. All you have to do is meet me out there in the ring, anytime, anywhere.

KA – Well, I will not comment on decisions undertaken prior to my arrival, I respect the heck out of the previous management. But now, for our first couple matches of the evening, and they are for the on “2020 Friday Night SmackDown Live on Fox Post WrestleMania All-Encompassing Tag Team Tournament”

Heavy Machinery vs Artists Collective

Tucker and Cesaro start the bout, whit Heavy Machinery dominating operations with a couple of running powerslams. Otis is tagged in and performs the caterpillar, but Sami Zayn grabs the referee’s arm as he was reaching the count of three. As he is not a part of this match no disqualification can be awarded, but he is expelled from ringside. On his way out he seizes his opportunity to hit a Tornado DDT and a Helluva Kick on both members of Heavy Mach. From then on the Collective dominates. Shinsuke pulls the top rope as Tucker was going for a clothesline which causes Tucker to collapse to the floor. Otis is pounded by Shinsuke and Cesaro who perform quick tags.

Suddenly Sami Zayn comes back out, but is followed suit by Daniel Bryan and Gulak, who quickly dispose of him. Heavy Machinery gain a second wind, and rebound. Tucker performs a powerslam. Otis is tagged in, they perform the compacter on Cesaro, then he goes for the Caterpillar; connects. 1, 2, 3. Heavy Machinery advance to the semis!

Lucha House Party vs B Team

Gran Metalik and Curtis Axel start the match. Gran Metalik with savvy footwork manages to dominate the match imposing a high rhythm. Lince Dorado is tagged in and with his high-flying ability quickly disposes of Axel, then Bo Dallas. 1, 2, 3. Lucha House Party easily win this one. But what’s this! Bray Wyatt walks into the ring. What can he possibly be doing here?

(Bray enters the ring and approaches the laying Bo Dallas who is inconsolable after yet another loss).

Bray – You! You look familiar to me! Have we met before?

Bo Dallas – I’m yo…

Bray – Ah I know! You were once an NXT World Champ! I remember that. And a fine champion no less! What in His name happened to you?

BD – I don’….

Bray – Doesn’t matter. If you really want to get your mojo back, all you need to do is LET ME IN! Come by the Firefly Fun House next week.

(Camera cuts to the entrance of the Performance Center Premises where Kayla Braxton is waiting for Braun Strowman; but is that Michael Cole at the door dressed as doorman!?)

Kayla – Michael, what are you doing here, dressed like that?

MC (visibly embarrassed and trying not to be filmed) – Uh. Erm… Kayla…Hi… Well. Mr. Angle has put me in charge of…I mean he has ordered… I mean… Well, I’m supposed to - has he said - “Protect the Performance Center and all SmackDown’s assets and Superstars from outside dangers”. Look I just wanna keep my job at this point Kayla… could you not film me?

Kayla – Is that a thermometer, Michael? (Braun Strowman arrives at the door, Michael Cole checks his temperature and checks his body for weapons and such, as a Doorman will. Braun looks a bit confused) Excuse, me Braun have you heard Sheamus’ speech earlier?

Braun – I’ve just been checked out of the hospital. As such I hadn’t the opportunity to watch the show. I just look forward to return to the locker room, to the see the guys, you know, assume my role as locker room leader, as the Universal Champion.

Kayla – Well Sheamus precisely accused you of not being a true Universal Champion. (Braun just scuffs and moves on)

Corey – Huh…Mr. Commanding Officer, sir….Why is Michael Cole THERE? You said he was promoted to a more important role?

KA – He has!! What’s more important of being in charge of the safety of all WWE Superstars here tonight? Ya know, impeach any stranger to enter, anyone with the virus to enter. That’s the most important job in all of WWE while the pandemics is still on. In fact, he asked for it, remember? When Mr. McMahon was about to announce me as the Commanding Officer, he was yapping about being very loyal and being at the McMahon’s disposal for additional responsibilities.

Corey – I don’t think he was thinking about this.

KA – Well, as I pointed out, what’s more important right now than assuring all of us stay safe and healthy? Anyway, I have some announcements, and I need the whole roster to assemble here. Como on down boys and gals. Remember, keep 6 feet apart. Spread out

(All the members of the roster present that night come out and spread throughout the arena)

KA – Now listen, I, as your Commanding Officer, got your back. And I listen to you. For instance. Sasha. I’ve heard you. I feel you. I think you are right. Corporate has been somewhat unfair to you. You are a staple of the Women’s’ revolution and have been sidelined for far too long. Therefore, I nominate you as the first superstar to enter the Ladder match at Money in the Bank, representing our brand. (Sasha and Bayley are happy; other women protest)

Ladies, ladies, please! Now as we are talking about the women’s division, I’ve also heard Sonya and Mandy. Now I don’t like when two friends, - nay, siblings! – argue. But, I found out with my kids, sometimes you just have to let them fight it out, ya know. They fight, then they make peace. Therefore. You’ll have a fight, two weeks from now. (they look at each other with suspicion) and… whoever wins, will be at the Money in the Bank ladder match! Just to spice things on. (the other women grow unhappier) But tonight you’ll have to team up against The Blonde Bombshells. Can you still team up? That’s up to you.

Now ladies, I’m not finished. I’ve heard Lacey Evans and Tamina bravely coming out and saying they’re after the World Title. So I’ve decided that I want to reward that entrepreneurship spirit. So both of you will have an opportunity at the Bayley’s title at Money in the Bank….. If you can defeat, as a team, the team of Ember Moon and Naomi, the partners you walked out on. Whoever comes out as a winner next week will compete on a Triple Threat match for the Women’s title. Now understand this. Whoever loses, will have to fight her partner in the following week in order to fill the last spot of the Money in the Bank ladder match.

As for the men’s ladder match, I’ve already nominated, very fairly, two representatives of the blue brand. The last one will come out of an 8-men Ladder match, two weeks from now. And its participants are:

 

(Jeff Hardy, returning to action after a long time off, stands up in fury)

JH – Angle, Angle, Angle. I really don’t care about your fancy job title and your idea of self-grandeur. All I care is about being in the ring. And how can you overlook me when booking that match? You have put The Gronk up there, for crying out loud. And he is Hardly a wrestler.

KA – Oh here we go again. Another star from the nineties that thinks he’s still got what it takes to hang in the ring for more than 5 minutes. I really have no time to worry about you Jeff. I worry about the future of this brand, and you are clearly not. Your brother understood it and parted ways, all the way to WCW 2.0. Why don’t you follow him? The Gronk is not a wrestler? He is a Superstar! And that’s even more important. Do you know how many adverts the Gronk brings to this company? How much money?

Gronk – All due respect, sir, I appreciate you standing up to me, but I need no defense from others. I can stand up for myself and I’m willing to put that spot in the line against Jeff Hardy. I need to prove myself as a competitor here. I owe that to my peers.

Drake Maverick – Welly well! How about me? Where do I fit in in all this? I’m more than the 205 Live General Manager! I’m a superstar as well (everybody laughs)

KA – Listen here little man. The only GM here is me. I know you’re assigned to this brand but I tell what. In here you are nothing. No General Manager, nothing. In fact, you need to think hard and well where you want to be. On SmackDown or on 205 Live. I’ll give you a couple weeks to think. In the meantime here’s what we’ll do. Tonight The Gronk, will face Jeff Hardy and Drake Maverick in a triple threat match. The winner goes to the 8-man Ladder match to determine the last SmackDown representative in the Men’s Money in the Bank ppv.

KA – Also tonight. I think it’s about time we have a regular match for the 24/7 title. Mojo, you will face Heath Slater, here tonight. Mind you, the 24/7 rules are not suspended for the match. So if anyone wants to interfere….I mean, the rules are not suspended now, so the only question I have is, Mojo why aren’t you on the run? (Mojo and a bunch of lowcard superstars run off stage, as Angle laughs).

KA – Oh and we need a main event. How about a Clash of Champions? Alexa & Nikki against Bayley & Sasha Banks!

Corey – We’re back. In the ring already:

Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose vs The Blonde Bombshells

VS 

The match was rapid flowing, with Sonya and Mandy working surprisingly well together. After a while Carmella hits Mandy with a Headscissors takedown followed by a bulldog headlock. Mandy eventually breaks free, but is spent and desperate to tag Sonya in, as she goes for the tag Sonya “slips” and falls of the apron, and lays there in serious pain – or so she claims. Mandy is left alone. Dana Brooks connects with a pop up powerslam and a Fireman's Carry into Michinoku Driver. 1, 2, 3. The Bombshells take the win. Was Sonya really injured?

Heath Slater vs Mojo Rawling (C) (24/7 Championship)

Heath enters with Elias, and his still holding the Crown that he took from King Corbin last week. He grabs a mic and proclaims that from now on he wants to be treated as King Slater. On commentary Kurt Angle says it is somewhat irregular, but “He does have the crown, he must be King”, and allows for the immediate name change. Slater is pumped up by is new found status and just absolutely dominates the match. Mojo is baffled and cannot compose himself.

At ring side Elias his cheering his friend on. Suddenly, King Corbin walks in. He is angry. He wants his crown back. On commentary Corey Graves asks if Corbin is still King, Kurt responds that “Well, he is the latest winner of the KotR, so yes, he’s still King. We have two Kings now. Let them sort it out, I’m not butting in”. While Elias quickly deals with King Corbin outside, King Slater is now taking some punishment.

But, what is this!! Sami Zayn and the Artists Collective just walk in. They quickly immobilize Mojo, and Sami Zayn goes for the cover. On commentary, Kurt Angle reminds viewers that the 24/7 rules apply; 1,2, 3. We have a new Champion. Sami Zayn is now both Intercontinental and 24/7 Champion!

The Gronk vs Jeff Hardy vs Drake Maverick (triple threat qualifying match. Winner goes to the 8-man Ladder Match in two weeks)

Jeff Hardy dominates the eager but inexperienced Gronk, while Drake Maverick spares himself from the fight. (On commentary Corey says it’s an intelligent strategy, Angle agrees and says “Drake is more intelligent than I would credit him“). Eventually Hardy goes to the top turnbuckle for a Swanton, but Drake trips him and he falls badly. The Gronk and Drake Maverick are all that’s left. Drake jumps on the back of Gronk, but is quickly tossed like a ragdoll. He moves in for a Spear, but Maverick moves out of the way. Boom, The Gronk is impaled through the ringpost. He is in pain. Maverick covers, 1, 2, 3. Maverick wins!

(Camera cuts to the entrance, where a very uncomfortable Michael Cole, now tasked with guarding the entrance to the premises, is trying to bar Goldberg from entering)

MC – Bill, please, don’t make this difficult for both of us! Mr. Angle has specifically barred you from entering. You’re retired. You no longer work here, and there’s a pandemic going no. No non-WWE personnel may enter. Please, Bill!

Goldberg – I tell you what. As a gesture of consideration to you and since I don’t want you to get in trouble in your job, I will leave (gestures to the camera man to come closer, and speaks directly to it) But, Kurt Angle, I’m not through with you! I will be back. And I suggest you get some more muscle on the door. Cause when I return, not even 10 Michael Coles will be enough to keep me out.

Corey – Well sir, care to comment?

KA – Corey, I’m won’t bother to comment. I tell you more, we’ll cut that scene afterwards (Corey reminds him the show is live, Angle, embarrassedly moves on quickly)….Erm, yes, well, time for our main event! And what a main event it is!

Clash of Champions: Sasha Banks & Bayley vs Bliss & Nikki Cross

vs

Bayley and Nikki start the match, with Bayley shouting at her opponent (you will never pin me Nikki, never!), but that only motivates Nikki who starts with some powerful chops to the chest of the Champ. Bayley tags Sasha in, and Sasha imposes her greater experience and velocity. Nikki is gassed out quickly, but can’t reach her partner. Bayley returns to the ring and oppresses her opponent with some kicks and taunts. Sasha is tagged in and applies the Bank statement. Nikki is about to tap, but Alexa saves the team. Bayley gets Nikki off the ring and the pair exchange blows. While this is going on, Tamina and Lacey pop up into the arena, and stand at ringside ominously.

The match resumes, with Nikki finally tagging Alexa in. The Goddess goes after the Boss with a dropkick and a Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors. Bayley is tagged in, and evens the match with a couple of Belly-to-Bayley suplexes. Goes to the top rope, elbow drop, but Alexa moves. Alexa is now in control. As this happens, the Blonde Bombshells come out and stand at ring side as well.

On commentary Kurt Angle says he appreciates the eagerness of the competitors to challenge the current title holders. The match falls out of the referee’s control, as Nikki and Alexa exchange words with the Bombshells, and Bayley does the same with Lacey and Tamina. The situation escalates, and the Superstars are now shoving each other. The ref is inclined to call for the bell, but Kurt Angle denies it, saying “Nothing out of the ordinary has happened”. But the inevitable occurs, and an all-out brawl ensues. The official is nervous and wants to stop the match altogether. Kurt Angle, irate, belays that command. “Don’t stop the match you knucklehead! O Drake aproveitou a inexperiencia do Gronk e um certo ring rust do Hardy - esteve um ano de fora - para habilmente se manobrar neste match. Vitória merecida.

O show abre com o combate anunciado na última sexta pelo Raw Women’s Championship. 

Becky Lynch (c) vs Kairi Sane - Raw Women's Championship Match

Começa o combate com Becky imediatamente a procurar colocar Kairi em posição para o dis-arm-her, mas com Kairi a resistir e a conseguir manter se de pé. As duas trocam alguns golpes enquanto Asuka vai gritando fora do ringue, para motivar Kairi e distrair Becky. Com cerca de 15 minutos de combate, Becky consegue aplicar o Bexploder, e Asuka dá em maluca a gritar, percebendo que Kairi está em apuros, e é nesse momento que aparece Shayna Baszler no topo da rampa, sem música, a caminhar lentamente na direção do ringue. Becky olha fixamente para ela enquanto Kairi continua no chão a tentar recuperar, até que Shayna pára junto ao ringue e simplesmente cruza os braços, como se quisesse apenas assistir ao combate. Becky sai do ringue e fica mesmo na cara de Shayna, o árbitro grita lhes para que não aconteça nada ou o combate acabará em desqualificação, apesar de não haver contacto físico começa o trash talk entre as duas e as coisas estão a aquecer, neste momento a câmera passa para Kairi que está a subir à corda superior no canto do ringue, e salta para cima de Becky e Shayna, derrubando as duas. Kairi agarra em Becky e mete-a de novo no ringue, tenta o pin mas Becky safa-se. Kairi volta a subir ao canto, para aplicar o insane elbow, mas Shayna recupera e sobe às cordas, empurrando Kairi para uma queda feia fora do ringue. O árbitro imediatamente manda soar a campainha, acabando o combate em desqualificação, Shayna entra no ringue e começa a bater em Becky com sucessivos socos. Becky tenta resistir mas Shayna está a ser demasiado forte, entretanto fora do ringue Kairi levanta-se, e entra de novo no ringue juntamente com Asuka. Shayna levanta se para enfrentar as duas, ataca primeiro Asuka e em seguida a debilitada Kairi, encostando-a a um canto e desferindo vários socos. Asuka volta e apanha Shayna com uma joelhada nas costas, e juntamente com Kairi dominam Shayna. Becky já se levantou e puxa Asuka para si, que imediatamente a surpreende com o green mist, deixando Becky “cega”. A pancadaria termina quando Asuka e Kairi aplicam ao mesmo tempo o dropkick em Becky e Shayna, fazendo-as cair para fora do ringue. Toca a theme do General Manager Big Show que aparece de microfone na mão. 

 

Big Show: Hold on everyone, it’s clear that there’s a lot of heat between all of you, and if you ask me, that’s a good thing. My job is to make matches that people want to see, and you’re taking it to a level that everyone clearly will want to see, so, as I understand Becky, you have no problems defending your title anytime, anywhere, anyway, so at Money in the Bank, you will defend your title...in a Ladder Match, and it will be against Kairi Sane... Shayna Baszler... and Asuka. Good luck to all of you.  

A câmera passa para os comentadores. 

Vic Joseph: Wow, a ladder match between four of the best women in the WWE, that will be amazing. 

Aiden English: I cannot oversell it Vic, that match has instant classic written all over. 

Byron Saxton: It can either be one more great moment in Becky’s title reign or... it can be the end of it. 

Vic Joseph: We have to wait until Money in the Bank to see, as for now we have more action, with the United States Champion in a non-title match. 

 

Ricochet vs Andrade

Combate de alta velocidade, como só poderia ser entre estes dois, mas além de ter que se preocupar com Andrade, Ricochet tem também que manter o olho em Zelina e Garza. Ricochet está determinado em ultrapassar a derrota da semana passada contra EC3 e começa o combate ao ataque. Ambos vão alternando o controlo do combate ao longo do mesmo, e contra-atacam várias manobras um do outro. Exemplo disso é quando Andrade aplica o feint front kick into discus elbow, mas Ricochet baixa-se antes de levar com o cotovelo e consegue aplicar o backflip kick. Com um tornado DDT Ricochet deixa Andrade estendido e em posição para o 630° senton, mas Garza estica-se e puxa Andrade do ringue, Ricochet não hesita e lança-se para fora do ringue, mas Garza afasta Andrade salvando-o do impacto. Andrade levanta-se e mete Ricochet no ringue, esmurrando-o várias vezes no canto do ringue até este se sentar, Andrade corre até ao canto oposto e consegue acertar o running double knee. Vai para o pin, 1,2, Ricochet mete o pé na corda mas o árbitro não vê e faz a contagem de 3, Andrade vence o combate. 

Andrade sai do ringue e festeja com Garza e Zelina, enquanto Ricochet vai recuperando e visivelmente chateado diz ao árbitro que tinha o pé na corda. O árbitro garante lhe que não viu e pede desculpa a Ricochet. Andrade não gosta de ver Ricochet a colocar a sua vitória em causa e corre para o ringue com Garza e os dois atacam Ricochet. Poucos segundos depois... 

Theme do Rusev 

Rusev corre pela rampa e assim que entra no ringue Andrade e Garza saem e afastam-se, enquanto Rusev ajuda Ricochet a levantar-se. 

 

 

Passamos para uma sala escura, e aparece Aleister Black, senta-se numa cadeira e começa a falar. 

Aleister: Some men live confusing lives, not knowing what to do or where they’re going, some of them spend time playing with fire, living dangerously and not considering the risks. Then we have... Erick Rowan, growing spiders inside a cage, headbutting doors and hurting himself. Erick, if you want to live dangerously, all you have to do, is to ask for a fight. 

 

Voltamos à mesa dos comentadores. 

Vic Joseph: It seems that Aleister Black is picking a fight with Erick Rowan. 

Saxton: Aleister Black is one of the toughest guys in the roster, but I’m not sure that’s a smart thing to do. 

Aiden: Of course it is Byron, Aleister Black won at Wrestlemania, he has to capitalize on that. If the opportunity doesn’t knock at your door, you have to look for it. 

Vic Joseph: Speaking of opportunities, at Money in the Bank the Authors of Pain may win the Raw Tag Team titles, but right now, we’re gonna have one-on-one action between Rezar and Angelo Dawkins. 

 

Angelo Dawkins vs Rezar 

Dawkins conta com o apoio de Montez Ford no ringside, enquanto que Rezar tem Akam, Murphy e Rollins. Dawkins começa o combate ao ataque, não se deixando intimidar pela maior estatura de Rezar, e mostra ter força para ele quando ambos tentam um shoulder tackle mas nenhum dos dois cai. Do lado de fora Rollins vai gritando instruções para Rezar, mas Dawkins consegue antecipar os movimentos e escapar quase sempre aos ataques. O grupo de Rollins tenta interferir por vezes, numa delas, quando Dawkins é empurrado às cordas, Murphy puxa a corda para baixo e faz com que Dawkins caia para fora do ringue. Por alguns minutos Rezar fica com o controlo do combate. Rezar tenta o pin após um powerbomb mas Dawkins consegue se safar. Mais alguns minutos passam e o grupo de Rollins continua a tentar interferir, o que chateia Montez Ford. Quando Dawkins consegue voltar a equilibrar o combate, aplica um dropkick que atira Rezar para o canto, Dawkins depois corre em direção a ele, Rezar tenta sair do canto mas não consegue porque Montez Ford está a agarrar lhe o pé sem que o árbitro veja, e Angelo Dawkins aplica o NBA Slam. Os Street Profits a mostrarem que também sabem usar a vantagem de ter alguém no ringside. Rezar está meio desorientado mas ainda em pé, Dawkins atira-o às cordas e na volta consegue um incrível sky-high. 1,2,3 e Dawkins consegue a vitória sobre Rezar. Rollins, Murphy e Akam imediatamente entram no ringue e correm para Dawkins mas este rebola para fora do ringue e juntamente com Montez afastam-se dali celebrando a vitória. Rollins fica no ringue super chateado.

Vic Joseph: Ladies and gentleman we’re back live from the Performance Center, ready for more action. Later tonight we will have two Triple-Threat Matches, one of them between the three participants in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and of course our main event, with Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley and Samoa Joe, and the winner of that match will fight Drew McIntyre for the WWE title at Money in the Bank. As for now, we have one of the participants of the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, EC3, fighting against Cedric Alexander. 

 

Cedric Alexander vs EC3 

Dois estilos muito diferentes a combater, e claramente EC3 quer mostrar que a sua vitória na semana passada contra Ricochet não foi um golpe de sorte, e começa o combate de forma muito agressiva, encurralando-o num canto e desferindo várias clotheslines, seguido de um one-hand bulldog que planta Cedric no centro do ringue. O combate segue durante alguns minutos, com EC3 a controlar a maioria. Com Cedric encostado a um canto, EC3 corre para ele para aplicar o EC3 Splash, mas enquanto está no ar Cedric apanha-o com um superkick. Ficam ambos no chão durante uns segundos, quando se levantam Cedric tenta aplicar o STO, mas EC3 é mais forte e consegue travar e reverter para o shoulder jawbreaker. Com Cedric estendido no ringue, EC3 está em alta, e esquece se que não há crowd, e grita “SAY MY NAME, EC3” e aplica o EC3 Elbow, levanta Cedric, mete-o nos seus ombros e aplica o The One Percent, 1,2,3 e EC3 consegue uma impressionante vitória sobre Cedric Alexander. 

 

 

Passamos para o escritório de Big Show, onde está ele e Kevin Owens, e um ecrã a mostrar EC3 a celebrar a sua vitória. 

Big Show: I gotta admit Kevin, I’m impressed with EC3, he really seems to be stepping up his game, are you worried for Money in the Bank? 

Kevin Owens: Worried? Do you not know me at all Show? C’mon, I’ll tell you how worried I am about EC3, put me in a match with him next week. 

Big Show: Done man. 

Aparece Jinder Mahal. 

Kevin Owens: What do you want? Don’t you see you’re interrupting? 

Jinder: You’re talking to a former WWE champion, you better watch your mouth Owens. 

Kevin Owens: I better watch my mouth? Very well Mr. Former WWE Champion, how long did you last on your last two matches combined? One minute? 

Jinder: Both Drew and Aleister were lucky, they caught me off guard, that will not happen again. And I remind you, I’m a former WWE champion, you’re not, so you better treat me with more respect. 

Kevin Owens: Hey Show, put me in a match against the one minute man. 

Kevin sai do escritório, e Big Show diz a Jinder: 

Big Show: You have a match Jinder, get in the ring. 

 

Kevin Owens vs Jinder Mahal 

Jinder está bastante enervado, assim que a campaínha toca corre em direção a Owens que imediatamente o apanha com um superkick que o deixa estendido no chão. Owens agarra Jinder pela cabeça enquanto lhe grita na cara “WHAT’S WRONG MR. FORMER WWE CHAMPION? ISN’T THIS RESPECTFUL ENOUGH?” Owens levanta Jinder, aplica o Stunner e 1,2,3. Vitória fácil para Kevin Owens e mais uma derrota rápida para Jinder Mahal. 

 

No backstage vemos Lashley a aquecer e Lana a falar com ele, não ouvimos o que ela diz mas ele não parece contente. 

 

Seguimos para intervalo 

Ruby Riott vs Nia Jax vs Natalya

Começa o combate e Ruby parece tentar convecer Natalya a fazerem parceria para enfrentar Nia Jax, Natalya concorda e as duas correm na direção de Nia, após vários murros aplicam um double dropkick que atira Nia para fora do ringue. O combate continua durante algum tempo só com Ruby e Natalya, as duas vão lutando sem nenhuma conseguir assumir o controlo, até que Nia volta ao ringue e com uma double clothesline derruba as duas. Ruby rebola para fora do ringue e fica Nia a dominar Natalya, começa pelo samoan drop, tenta o pin mas Natalya safa se ao 2. Nia atira então Natalya para o canto, corre na direção dela e acerta um splash. Entretanto Ruby volta e salta para as costas de Nia, apertando lhe o pescoço para a fazer ceder, mas passado uns segundos Nia deixa se cair de costas o que faz com que Ruby a largue. Natalya está de novo em pé enquanto as outras duas tentam recuperar, agarra nas pernas de Ruby e prende o sharpshooter, Ruby tenta chegar às cordas mas Natalya puxa-a para o meio do ringue, Ruby vai desistir mas Nia já se levantou e acerta um soco mesmo na cara de Natalya. Nia empurra Ruby para fora do ringue, agarra em Natalya, aplica o Jaxlam, 1,2,3. Nia consegue a vitória. 

 

Vic Joseph: And it’s time for our main event, the winner of this match will face Drew McIntyre at Money in the Bank for the WWE title. 

Byron Saxton: Wait Vic, I’m hearing that something is happening at the locker room area. 

A câmera corta para a zona dos balneários e vemos Seth, Murphy, Akam e Rezar num ataque 4 vs 2 contra os Street Profits que não estão a ter hipótese. Após vários murros e pontapés, Rezar pega em Dawkins e aplica um powerbomb, enquanto que Murphy e Akam seguram Montez Ford, Rollins pega numa cadeira e ataca o peito de Montez, e quando este cai dá-lhe uma cadeirada nas costas. Rollins grita “YEAH, THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT, LET’S GO” e saem dali em direção ao ringue. 

 

Seth Rollins vs Bobby Lashley vs Samoa Joe

Rollins tem o seu grupo no ringside, enquanto que Lashley tem Lana. Começa o combate com Samoa Joe a atirar se imediatamente a Rollins e a encostá-lo num canto para deferir várias backhand chops. Lashley puxa Joe para si, mas Joe empurra-o e volta a Rollins. Lashley corre de volta para o canto e dá uma joelhada nas costas de Joe. Continua o combate entre Lashley e Samoa Joe, enquanto Rollins saiu do ringue por alguns momentos. Lashley tenta trabalhar no braço de Joe, que não pode estar ainda a 100% depois do ataque que sofreu há duas semanas. Entretanto Rollins quer voltar ao combate, salta por cima da corda para acertar com o joelho em Lashley mas este desvia-se, Rollins dá uma cambalhota e quando se levanta é mesmo em frente a Samoa Joe, que pega nele com um braço e aplica o STJoe, Rollins fica no chão e Samoa Joe agarrado ao braço, Lashley tenta aproveitar e corre em direção a Samoa Joe e aplica um shoulder tackle no braço lesionado de Joe. Joe fica sentado num canto, enquanto Lashley levanta Rollins e aplica o sidewalk slam. Tenta o pin mas Rollins safa se ao 2. Lashley volta a levantar Rollins e aplica um overhead belly to belly suplex que o atira de um canto do ringue ao outro, tanto Joe como Rollins se vão levantando nos seus cantos, e Lashley parte para sucessivas corner clotheslines, primeiro em Joe, depois Rollins, e assim repetidamente enquanto Lana grita de alegria. Após uma corner clothesline em Rollins, Lashley corre para mais uma em Samoa Joe que o apanha para um STJoe. Os três ficam deitados durante alguns segundos. O combate segue por mais alguns minutos, até que temos Rollins a atacar Samoa Joe num canto, mas Lashley agarra-o pelas costas e tenta aplicar um german suplex, mas Rollins aterra de pé e acerta em Lashley com um enziguri, Lashley cai para cima do árbitro e ficam os dois no chão. Ao ver isto, Rollins dá imediatamente instruções e Murphy, Akam e Rezar puxam Samoa Joe para fora do ringue, atirando-o contra a barricada e contra os degraus, Rollins ri-se encostado às cordas enquanto grita “Stay down Joe, don’t get up”, entretanto Lashley já se levantou e está à espera que Rollins se vire, e só se ouvem os gritos estridentes de Lana “SPEAR HIM BOBBY, SPEAR HIM” Rollins ouve Lana e vira-se de novo para o ringue, Lashley está a correr virado a ele mas Rollins consegue saltar quando Lashley se lança, Lashley acaba por ir contra o poste do canto do ringue, Rollins puxa-o para o meio do ringue, e com ele ajoelhado aplica um superkick, vai virado às cordas e na volta... curb stomp. 1,2,3 Rollins vai defrontar Drew McIntyre pelo WWE title. 

 

Rollins celebra no ringue, enquanto Akam e Rezar metem Samoa Joe de volta no ringue. Murphy entra no ringue com uma cadeira igual à que Rollins usou em Montez Ford, Rollins ri-se e diz-lhes que levantem Samoa Joe para lhe acertar.. 

Theme do Drew McIntyre 

Drew aparece e imediatamente Akam sai do ringue para ir virado a ele, correm os dois na direção um do outro e... claymore kick. Murphy sai também do ringue e Drew atira-o contra a barricada, aparece Rezar pelas costas e agarra Drew, mas esté dá-lhe uma cabeçada que o obriga a largá-lo, vira se para ele e mais um claymore kick. Drew olha para Rollins que está no ringue com a cadeira, Drew entra no ringue, Rollins tenta-lhe acertar mas Drew baixa-se, corre para as cordas e no regresso...claymore kick, apanhando Rollins com a cadeira mesmo à frente da cara. Drew dominou completamente o grupo de Rollins e verifica como está Samoa Joe que se tenta levantar. Percebe se que Joe lhe agradece, e acaba o show com ambos no ringue, enquanto Rollins e o seu grupo se afastam.

Combate bastante competitivo entre estes dois. Lio Rush consegue alguma vantagem inicial devido a sua velocidade até que a força de Nese vem ao cima e este começa a controlar o combate.
Tony Nese vai dominando com várias rest holds tentando desgastar Lio Rush. Nese consegue acertar com uma powerbomb e diz a Rush "i know how to jump too, watch me" e tenta um frog splash mas falha. Oportunidade para Lio Rush subir até ao canto e acertar com o Final Hour, 1 2 3 Lio Rush está nas finais do torneio.

  

Vemos Damian Priest no backstage com várias mulheres ao seu lado e com o North American Title no seu ombro até que passa por Mia Yim.

Combate bastante rápido devido a agressividade inicial de Pete Dunne que não está para brincadeiras.
Depois de vários Forearms em Wesley Blake Dunne consegue acertar com o Bitter End.
Riddle puxa Steve Cutler para o ringue e acerta com o Bro to Sleep.
Dunne faz o cover em Blake, 1 2 3. Parece que os BroserWeights queriam enviar uma mensagem à Undisputed Era.

O combate começa com Swerve a atacar com várias combinações de socos e pontapés. Vê-se bem a importância que este combate tem para Swerve que tenta ganhar rapidamente.
Gallagher consegue ganhar espaço para respirar depois de Swerve falhar um dropkick e Gallagher acertar com a sua cabeçada.
Gallagher começa-se a focar nas pernas de Swerve para evitar a ofensiva de Swerve e ao mesmo tempo desgastar as pernas de Swerve para eventualmente tentar o Achilles Lock.
O final surge depois de Swerve conseguir acertar com um German Suplex e o Last Call.
