Renee Young, Jonathan Coachman and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, are in a round table discussing the matches to come and picking their favorites to win. Kofi drops by to discuss the “Dissolution of the New Day” Match, but he's very vague:

JCoach – Kofi, the whole world wants to hear your thoughts about this match, the future of the New Day.

Kofi – I don’t have much to add, Coach. I didn’t ask for this match, it was imposed on me and E. I didn’t want to go down this road, but somethings have happened between myself and E, that cannot be overlooked, I mean, whatchu want me to say?

Booker – Hey, hey cut him some slack. I also know what is like to have issues with someone you teamed up for years, a brother, those things happen in the course of a professional wrestler career, we shouldn’t overstate it.

RY – Overstate it, Booker? It’s the Dissolution of the New Day! That alone cannot be overstated. It’s one of the most iconic teams ever.

Kofi - Yeah, it’s not easy for me too. But now it’s on. The shoes have been bought, now one must wear them.  

He leaves as the 24/7 Championship 20 Minute last Laugh Match is about to begin:

Titus O'Neil © vs The Gronk vs Curtis Axel vs RTruth

The 20 minutes of the match were marked on the clock and as time began to run, Gronk runs through Curtis Axel, as Titus and Truth do battle. The Gronk manages a quick pin, 1,2,3. He is now putative champion. However, some 19 minutes remain. Titus and Truth center their attention on the Gronk in a double team. He is put in a corner and double teamed. Then e Hulks Up (Gronks Up, as Booker T points out) and Shouldertackles Titus, the delivers the Patriot’s Act to RTruth. He is unstoppable. Curtis however dropkicks him from behind, goes for the cover, illegally grabbing the rope for extra ledger (the ref didn’t see it) 1,2,3. Curtis is now putative Champion. Some 16 minutes remain, however.

Titus hits Axel with a devastating Clash of the Titus but when he goes for the cover, the Gronk stops him. RTruth takes advantage and goes for the cover himself, 1,2,3, He is the new putative Champion, but some 14 minutes remain. RTruth runs for the hills in order to keep his win, not realizing that no one actually has to pin him to grab the title at the end. For the next few minutes, Titus and Gronk have a standard wrestling match, in many maneuvers, holds, covers and false finishes, but no competitor can outpower the other. With 5 minutes remaining, as Gronk puts Titus down and climbs the top rope, Axel out of nowhere trips the top rope, Gronk falls down, he covers the laying O’Neil, 1,2,3, Axel is again the putative Champion. The two giants are incensed, double team and absolutely destroy Axel, but now have the problem of who gets the pinfall. Gronk anticipates Titus, 1,2, but Titus Ankle locks the Gronk, interrupting the count and eventually getting a submission fall, making him the putative Champion.

With 2 minutes to go Eric Young shows up, rabid looking and he his dragging RTruth to the ring, enters the ring, ducks a lariat by Titus, dropkicks him outside the ring, covers RTruth, 1, 2, 3. With a minute to go, Eric Young is the 24/7 Champion to be! He escapes to the ringside, fends off Axel, as Titus and Gronk are once again tangled in a test of strength, Seconds to go and…

Mojo walks in, slowly, looking dread, eyes all white, with a look of abhorrent absence mindedness. “He has apparently escaped the FireFly Fun House and the Fiend” Coach says. “Or he has joined Him”, Renée retorts. He enters the ring, his appearance creates some fear, he clears the ring of everyone with a double clothesline that ejects Titus and Gronk off the ring, big boots Axel and Young off the ring as well, then chokes RTruth out, kisses him in the head delivers a Sit-Out Alabama Slam, 1, 2, 3. As the others run in to make another cover, the clock runs out. Mojo is now the 24/7 Champion!

MC – And we start big, with a world title defense, the SmackDown Women’s Tag Team Championships

Triple Threat Elimination Match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships

Alexa, Carmella and Raquel start the bout, whoever gets pinned or submits or gets disqualified eliminates her team from title contention. Raquel starts dominating the other smaller competitors, irish whipping Carmella to the ropes and applying a pop up powerslam on the rebound, goes for the cover, 1,2 Nikki barges in to interrupt the count. Alexa is baffled with her teammate “What are you doing?” Nikki argues that keeping every team in the match is beneficial to the champs. In this debate, Dakota is slingshot by Raquel and facewashes both champions off the ring. She is legal now and goes for Dana. Dana outpowers her, and is able to deliver a sunset flip, covers with the feet, 1,2, Dakota kicks out!

Carmella is tagged in, sling shots Dakota into a corner and delivers a high cross body. Nikki kicks her in the guts, picks her up and goes for a powerbomb gutwrench. She covers, 1, 2, Dana intervenes. Raquel and Alexa are tagged in and go one on one. Raquel tries to deliver a Screwdriver, but Alexa escapes, kicks Raquel in the knees, and applies Chokehold STO. She is about to tap, Dakota goes to intercede for her team, but Nikki enters and prepares the “Spear of Scotland”, but Dakota realizes this moves out of the Way, so Nikki hits Alexa instead. She apologizes profusely but Alexa is arguing with her. This is profited by the KickStarters who suplex both champions, Raquel covers Alexa, 1,2,3. Oh my! The Champions are eliminated. We will get new Champs.

The KickStarters are energized by eliminating the Champs, and plow through the Bombshells. A couple of high spots and finishes and some tentative covers later, Carmella and Dana are still fighting, but just barely. However, as Raquel was hitting a high kick on Carmella who was in the corner, Carmella ducks, and Gonzalez gets her leg stuck on the ropes. Dakota and Dana are tagged in, and Dana gains momentum. She drives a tornado DDT onto Dakota, 1,2, Dakota lifts a shoulder. Raquel goes to intercede for her partner, get caught in Carmella’s Leg scissors kick, Dana picks Dakota in a vertical suplex, connects. Covers, 1, 2, 3! The Blonde Bombshells are the new Tag Team Champions!

Liv and Lacey are chilling in the back, as Lacey gets ready for her title shot.

Liv – Are you ready for your big moment?

LE – Darling, with you watching my back, I can’t lose. It’s about time I wear some gold around my waist.

Liv – I hope you knock some of Asuka’s teeth out in the process. I freaking hate those Kabuki Warriors and their cheating ways.

LE – Peachpie, I’ll do it if you do the same to Kairi.

Triple Threat Match for the United States Championship

No one is allowed at ringside, but there’s the feeling in the air that Elias is getting the wrong end of the stick in this deal. For the first minutes a clear double team of Corbin and Murphy is formed against the Drifter. Elias, survives somehow. Corbin eventually hits Elias with the End of Days. Devastating. Murphy advances for the cover, 1,2, Corbin pulls him. Murphy asks “What are you doing?? We had an accord!” The crowd shouts “no; no; no!” Murphy reminds him of the crown. Corbin is conflicted,  but denies it.

Suddenly the Tron comes up. It’s Seth Rollins and the AoP. They have Slater there with them, completely broken, crying in a pool of blood, Rollins waves the Crown around saying “Hey Corbin, I’m keeping my end of the bargain, will you? I have your crown right here. Slater has…let’s say, Slater has relinquished it”.

Corbin is even more confused, Murphy is barking orders, he lays down to receive the cover, 1,2, but he swats Murphy. He gets up, picks a microphone “I want it both “Messiah”! I take the US Title now, then I’ll come for the crown”. He drops the mic, kicks Murphy in the guts, delivers a DDT, covers, 1, 2, Elias prevents the win. Elias, crossfaces Corbin. After a minute in the hold, Corbin is ready to tap out, Murphy interrupts the hold, kicks Elias in the face and drops him off the ring, and applies the crossface on Corbin again, while taunting “You want both, hey. Now you’ll get none!”. Elias interrupts the hold, But Murphy delivers the Murphy’s law. 1,2. Corbin pulls Murphy’s legs.

The Tron connects again. The Messiah has the crown in a hydraulic press, ready to click the button to destroy it “Corbin, Corbin, it’s still not too late. You can prevent this. You know what to do!”. Corbin is conflicted, he says yes, then no, then walks around in the ring aimlessly, Murphy ends up losing patience, hits Corbin with a Superkick, then the Disciple Respite. 1, 2, 3. Murphy retains. To add insult to injury, Seth presses the button and Corbin has to watch his crowd get destroyed.

Kayla is at the back, as Big E makes his entrance.

KB – Big E, what are your comments about the Dissolution of the New Day Match?

BE – Kayla, I’m still in shock! I can’t believe it’s happening. But hey I didn’t ask for this. Things sorta rolled in this direction and now there’s nothing anyone can do.

KB – But if you win, do you get to stay in the New Day? If Kofi wins, will you leave the New Day?

BE - Kayla, I really don’t know the answers to those questions, to be honest. I can believe I’m fighting my boy, Kofi. Over I dunno what, exactly. I mean, I’m just shook. Excuse me.

Triple Threat Match for the SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Liv Morgan and Kairi Sane are at ring side on their partners’ corners. Sasha is a bit overwhelmed at first as she is the only one having to fend for herself. Asuka dominates the first minutes of the match, by executing a series of quick strikes on Sasha and Lacey. Picks Sasha apart and hits a couple of rearviews. Asuka goes for the cover on the champ, 1,2, Liv Morgan kicks her in the face.

Kairi is incensed and bashes Liv around the ring side. The disadvantage Sasha apparently had, turns to her advantage, as the Kabuki Warriors and Liv & Lacey are constantly bickering with each other, leaving Sasha as the only competitor that is fully concentrated in the match at hand. Lacey connects Sasha with the Women’s right. She covers, 1,2, Asuka interrupts the count. Lacey was thinking she was going to be champion and is furious at Asuka, she corners her and bashes her with quick kicks and punches. Outside, Kairi has dispatched of Liv by putting her on top of the commentary table, going to the top of the ringpole, Insane Elbow, crashing through Liv and the table. The pair stays down, but Liv looks done.

After a while, Kairi gets up goes to the top turnbuckle, but is warned by the referee to not interfere, so she just hangs there. Sasha is fending off both Asuka and Lacey. Then they all trade blows with each other, Asuka grabs Lacey, suplexes her, but Lacey lands on her feet, so Asuka dropkicks Lacey, who falls on top of the referee. Kairi capitalizes and goes for the insane Elbow on Lacey. Lacey is out. Asuka goes for the cover, 1, 2, Sasha interrupts. But she is now in a handicap situation. She flees the ring, the Kabuki Warriors pursuit her, she hides under the ring, they follow her in, she emerges on the other side with her Money in the Bank Briefcase, and as Kairi Sane emerges right after her, she's immediately bashed in the head with the case, and is left laying.

Asuka emerges on the other side, goes after Sasha through the ring, climbs the top tope for a cross body, but Sasha just throws the Briefcase against the top rope, Asuka falls inside the ring, Sasha quickly enters, applies the Bank Statement, the referee comes to her senses, Asuka fights for a while and ends up taping out. Sasha Banks wins and is still SmackDown Women’s Champion!

Camera cuts to the back. The Liturgy are celebrating Murphy’s title match win.

Seth – Gentlemen, gentlemen, my Disciples. I’m so very happy for you to have retained your United States Championship. Also I have faith that the Acolytes of Pain will become SmackDown Tag Team Champions later on!

Murphy – Well, it wasn’t easy, I thought Corbin would cave in once he saw we had his crown, but I guess he got greedy.

Seth – Murphy, some men are unwise, Those men aren’t fit to be king. Other men are so wise, so wise, they surpass that status and are acclaimed Messiah, by their peers. Speaking of which, I now have a very important mission in the upcoming match, The Dissolution of the New Day. I’ll be the Mediator, the Arbiter, sure, but I will have a very special secondary goal in that match. I know I’m this close to bringing one new member to our Liturgy. Kofi is all but ready to join. He just needs a little nudge. A Leap of Faith, if you will.

The Dissolution of the New Day Match

Burn it Down, followed by an angelic tune sounds, Seth Rollins enters, to a barrage of boos by the crowd. He enters the ring and delivers a long speech to the audience about being the Messiah and all that, concluding that:

Seth – I’m here as a special guest Mediator, now that’s more than a Special Guest Referee. I’m not here only to make the counts, I’m here to reconciliate these men, because it breaks my heart (tears up) to see two brothers fight (severe boos erupt in the crowd, the heat is atomic). Let’s bring them out

The New Day’s theme song comes up. Kofi enters. Some boos are heard, but mostly the crowd seems to plead with Kofi not to go forth with this, that he is being played by Seth. The New Day’s theme song sounds again, Big E enters, the crowd cheer him, but mostly plead to him not to go through with this.

Seth – Now gentlemen, I know you hate each other (the crowd boos, security has some trouble in keeping the fans from invading the ringside area) really, really hate each other, but, please, let’s keep it civil. No low blows, no choking, no weapons.

A barrage of boos echoes in the arena. People shout “no! no! no!”. Kofi and Big E are really affected by the mood. Seth, enraged, urges them to fight. They perform a meek test of strength, then they breakup and retreat to different corners. The crowd continues to dissuade them of this. Seth, on the other hand instigates them. Kofi goes to the ropes, picks up some speed, but merely bumps into the colossal Big E and falls down. To the exasperation of Seth Rollins, Big E extends his hand to Kofi to pick him off the ground. Seth threatens them with dq, apparently for "unsportsmanlike conduct" if they continue not scraping up. Suddenly...

Xavier Woods appears, from the crowd, he enters the ring, Seth instructs some security to tackle him, to bar him from entering his ring. Kofi and Big E both fend off the security guards “It’s Xavier Woods, man, he is a wrestler here, What’s wrong with y’all?” they repeat. Finally, Seth has to cede, and Xavier picks up a mic:

XW – Kofi? Big E? What the hell are you doing???? Why are you here? Why are you listening to this jackass? Hey man, you had some problems between you both. I understand that. It happens. It happens in a family, in a group, when people are together for so long, they're bound to have some small conflicts, It’s natural. But this??? Full fledged fighting? On this son a bitch barking orders? Because some clueless GM thinks its gonna sell some tickets? No. No. Come on, you’re better than this, Both of you. Lets clear our heads, have some barbecue here in Atlanta, take a couple days off, then lets all talk an sort this out.

Seth - Wow, wow, wow, you are you to invade this holy arena and talk all that nonsense, that hippie peace and love bullcrap, and to impede this official match to take place…

XW – Shut up you self-centered gangrene! Kofi, Big E. Let’s bail. What do you say?

As Seth tries to grab Xavier, both Kofi and Big E intercept him, Kofi delivers the Trouble in Paradise, Big E the Big Ending and Xavier Woods connects with the Frogsplash. Kofi and Big E hug in the ring. The crowd goes wild. They all leave the ring together

BW – Now remember kids, always have your bro’s back, no matter what (they share a hug, while a “awnnn” is overheard, and Rambling Rabbit, Huskus the Pig and Mercy the Buzzard celebrate friendship)

A knock is heard, Bo opens the door. It’s Sheamus.

Sh – Hey fellas. I was wondering if I could get a word with the man in charge (the others appear to fail to understand) Ye know, the man…the thing…the creature…Him.

BW – Oh Him!!! And want would you want with Him?

Sh – Ye know…I have the Universal title match later on, and I was wondering if he could give me some help. Ye know, like the last time. Giving me the ‘secret weapon’ (again they fail to comprehend) Ye know, the Black Sheep mask.

BM – Oh, that!! But Sheamus…surely you know YOU have lost the “secret weapon”.

BW - Yeah, no. He has talked to us here in the Firefly Fun House about that, and He thinks you’re weak. He says you have failed Him. And one does not fail Him twice.

BM – Plus he has added that He already has a World Champion on his side. So, he has no use for you. Leave, now. (Sheamus leaves, disappointedly) Now let’s get to the ring. The Indestructible Ruthless Siblings have some gold to win.

Fatal Four Way Ladder Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships

AoP vs The Colóns vs UKIP vs Bray Wyatt & Bo Mulligan

All the competitors are in the ring. The titles dangle 18 feet above the ring. However, GM, Kurt Angle has stipulated that only one ladder is to be present in the whole ringside area. Therefore, the match degenerates pretty quickly into a contest about controlling the ladder, as everyone brawls uncontrollably at ringside, disputing the ladder. Primo and Epico, launch themselves from the top rope and wash away everybody. They get the ladder, set it up and climb it, but Akam shoulder tackles the ladder, causing the Colons to fall. Akam however injures his arm in the process, so his climb is slow as he can use only one.

Drake Maverick seizes the opportunity to climb to Akam's back, then topple him to get to the top, but Bray Wyatt comes in and pushes the whole ladder to the ground. The crowd screams “Yowie Wowie”. Bray goes down on the ground, lays there stomach down, with his feet up dangling, reveling in the crowd adulation. But it ends as Jack Gallagher Frogsplashes on top of him. Bo Mulligan avenges his sibling by driving Jack Gallagher to the ring pole, then performing a Pop Up Atomic Drop. The I.R.S. are now in control of the ring and Bray fends off other competitor, as Bo uprights the ladder.

However, Akam and Rezar overrun Bray Wyatt in a double team attack and prevent Bo Mulligan from climbing. I.R.S. and AoP clash in the ring for quite some time, as the Colons and UKIP clash outside of it “This is awesome” is hear from the crowd. Finally, UKIP manages to put both Epico and Primo on top of the Spanish and the German commentary table, and go on top of separate ring poles, hoping to put the Colons out of commission.

But Carlito runs in and drags his clients off the table at the last second. Jack and Drake end up jumping into empty tables, checking themselves off the match. Carlito and his familia are jubilant on having escaped that predicament, but it's short lived as Akam is clotheslined by Bray and Bo to the outside of the ring and lands precisely on top of them. Rezar, meanwhile sets up the ladder and climbs up, Bo and Bray notice that in the nick of time and push the ladder to the ground. However, on the process the ladder is broken.

It’s quite distressing as that was the only ladder. Bo and Bray search beneath the ring for another, but there’s none. This match seams unwinnable now. However, Bray and Bo come up with an idea. They get the steel steps inside the ring. Rezar gets up but is quickly dominated and tossed over the top rope, landing on top of the Colons that were on the process of getting up.

Now Bray steps up the steel steps, Bo climbs on top of him, fully stands on his shoulders, it’s quite a dangerous predicament, as if anyone interferes Bo can be seriously harmed. Bo Reaches up the most he can and manages to unclip the Titles. That it! Bray Wyatt and Bo Mulligan, the Indestructible Ruthless Siblings are the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions!

Camera cuts to the back Lashley is telling Lana not to show up on the ring, that this is the most important night of his life. “More than our wedding night, Bobby?” Lana interjects. Lashley goes away with Ziggler to get ready. Maryse shows up with Miz & Morrison:

Mrs – Hey Lana. I know you mean well, and you love your husband, but really, that’s not how you help him. That’s not how you make peace with him. Listen, our husbands are perfectly able wrestlers that can win their battles on their own. Look at them. They’re a couple of Studs. So is Morrison. And Ziggler. And they don’t need our help. Trust me. I thought I as helping Mizzy at Money in the Bank, and look what happened? It ended up costing them the tag titles.

Lana – But I have to do something, if I can.

Mrs – Listen, we can form a tag team, you know. We have a lot in common. We are a couple of gorgeous divas, but also great wrestlers that everybody underestimates, we are always in the shadow if well accomplished husbands, we also have that Liv business linking us (Lana retorts a quick “Right, right”). We should team up, and go for the titles, now that they're permanently on SmackDown. Come on,you can’t tell me we’re worse performers than freaking Carmella and Dana Brooke!

Lana – What about my Bobby, out there tonight?

Miz – Listen, doll, Bobby can handle himself. Plus, if there is any problem, these Studs got his back, I’m sure.

MC – And we’re back for our main event, a most anticipated main event, as the Celtic Warrior, the Almighty, the Monster Among Men and the Big Dog all clash for the Universal Championship under the supervision of the Icon, Goldberg.

Fatal Four Way match for the Universal Championship

Braun Strowman © vs Roman Reigns vs Sheamus vs Bobby Lashley

Special Guest Sheriff

The contenders make their entrance, so does Goldberg, special guest Sheriff for this match, basically an ringside enforcer, making sure no one interferes in the match. As the bell rings, Sheamus goes directly to the throat of Braun, and Roman attacks Lashley. This double pairing trade jabs for a while. Then Sheamus attacks Reigns and Lashley collides with Strowman. The match is too even for someone to gain the upper hand, so there’s no attempted covers for some time.

Sheamus gets frustrated and goes and picks up a chair. Goldberg grabs the chair off his hands saying he’s not having these crap on his ring. Sheamus responds that he is overstepping his bounds, they argue for some time, until Strowman picks up speed outside the ring and runs the Strowman Express over the unsuspected Sheamus. On the ring Roman hits Lashley with a Spear, covers, 1,2, Lashley kick out.

Braun gets in the ring and applies a back suplex. Goes for the cover, 1,2 Roman kicks out. Lashley connects with the LashLock, but the full nelson is not fully locked due to the sheer girth of Strowman’s arms. They struggle for a while. Sheamus enters the ring with a chair, but Goldberg follows suit and grabs it as he was swinging. They argue once again. And Lashley seizes the moment to apply the LashLock on a distracted and much leaner Sheamus, this time,successfully. He shakes Sheamus around violently, Sheamus is fading fast, Lashley is gonna be the Universal Champion!

But out comes Lana, oh no she is gonna cost her husband the victory of his life time. In the ring Roman spears both competitors and breaks the hold. Maryse comes out to get Lana off the stage, they argue, Goldberg goes there to kick them out and restore order, they argue with him profusely. But it’s all a ruse, as it’s intended to distract the Sheriff from what’s happening meanwhile in the ring.

Ziggler, Miz and Morrison come up shove Roman who bumps the ref, then beat Roman, Sheamus and Strowman, they enter and exit the ring under 20 seconds, but is enough to make the desired damage. Goldberg realizes something is happening turns to the ring, but Lana and Maryse deliver a double low blow on him.

Lashley runs wild on the ring bashing the competitors, cheered on by his clique.  The ref regains conscience and sees the chaos around him. Ziggler, Miz and Morrison have already retreated to the stage area, to play innocent. Lashley picks up Sheamus, delivers the Dominator, 1, 2, 3. Bobby Lashley is the new Universal Champion. He is finally World Champion in the WWE! He celebrates with Lana, Maryse, Ziggler, Miz and Morrison. With this stable behind him, who is gonna be able to take that belt off of him?

O 24/7 foi fixe, e ainda pensei que o Mojo ia usar o Sister Abigail.

Novas campeãs de tag team é uma boa decisão, mas pensei que ia para as Kickstarters.

O Corbin fez um pouco figura de parvo, tão importado com a coroa, e até parece que foi o início de um face turn, espero que não. Mas boa vitória para o Murphy.

Asuka a desistir? BOOOOOOOOO

Fico contente que os New Day não tenham acabado assim, mas penso que isto não fica por aqui. Acho que vai dar em New Day vs Liturgy (sem ainda ter visto se os AOP ganharam) e aí um dos New Day acaba por fazer o turn.

Bray e Bo como tag champs vai ser porreiro de ver.

BackLASHLEY! Até gostei do booking do combate, é um caso em que as interferências foram bem feitas e fizeram sentido.

 

No geral, bom PPV, só foi pena a Asuka a desistir.

Novas campeãs de tag team é uma boa decisão, mas pensei que ia para as Kickstarters.

O Corbin fez um pouco figura de parvo, tão importado com a coroa, e até parece que foi o início de um face turn, espero que não. Mas boa vitória para o Murphy.

Fico contente que os New Day não tenham acabado assim, mas penso que isto não fica por aqui. Acho que vai dar em New Day vs Liturgy (sem ainda ter visto se os AOP ganharam) e aí um dos New Day acaba por fazer o turn.

Bray e Bo como tag champs vai ser porreiro de ver.

BackLASHLEY! Até gostei do booking do combate, é um caso em que as interferências foram bem feitas e fizeram sentido.

 

No geral, bom PPV, só foi pena a Asuka a desistir.

Por acaso o combate que mais gosto me deu bookar foi mesmo o do 24/7. Pq não há tanta preocupação em proteger os performers, é bulha, pins, tudo a rodos, de depois tanto dá quem ganha. O Mojo (que ainda lhe vou mudar o apelido, tenho de pensar, mas Rawley não se coaduna agora) é minion do Fiend agora. E tem essa aura tenebrosa. O beijo na testa antes do seu finisher é a prova disso mesmo (de facto ainda pensei e pô-lo a usar o Sister Abigail, mas recuei. No máximo o Bo usará, por ser irmão e acabou).

Quanto ao Corbin, foi um match difilc de bookar. Pq queria transmitir o Corbin indeciso entre o titulo e a coroa (pq ele valoriza a coroa, é a razão de ser da sua gimick de Rei, mas um título é sempre um título), mas sem o pôr a ser coitadinho para não intuir uma face turn, desnecessária para esse camelo (o Corbin é daqueles gajos nunca pode virar face, creio eu). Por isso é que fui pelo lado da ganância, que é uma característica negativa, como meio de ele recusar. Agora a ideia era essa, mas a mensagem pode nao ter passado bem. seja como for tenho de fonte segura que nas proximas semanas, há alguem que vai aparecer e vai dar ao Corbin um nova (mas já usada) coroa, ainda mais pomposa. Stay tuned.

Quanto aos ND acho que é seguro a esta altura que não os vou separar. Não punha este momento de reconciliação no ringue, uma cena muito à Macho Man e Miss Elizabeth em 1992, para agora os separar, caramba, eu faço coisas parvas, mas não tanto hehehehhe. Se vão ser heel ou faces, é uma questão de esperar.

O Bray, vcs já sabem o que eu acho do estado actual (irl) do personagem/wrestler em termos de credibilidade enquanto monstro depois de ter sido squashado nas Arabias por um velho de 53 anos. Portanto estou a fazer um rebuild, desde o inicio, e os tag titles são uma boa maneira de o fazer. Aliás, ainda não o tinha post no ringue se ser para este angle de taggar com o irmão, para o proteger. Agora acho que arranjei um probleam se um dia lhes quiser tirar os titulos. Por exemplo, queria pushar os UKIP, gosto dos dois wrestlers, mas....caramba como poderei fazer uma coisa convincente em que o Drake vence o Bray?!?!? Ahahahah. Ah e repararam no pormenor de I.R.S? Homenagem ao pai.

O main event é complicado de bookar pq são quatro estrelas e a gente não quer enterrar nenhuma delas. Por isso pus poucos false finishes, não imagino que quatro monstros daqueles (vá o Sheamus é mais pequeno, certo) colidissem e houvessem tentativas de cover a rodos. O Lashley podia ter ganho sem interferências? Podia. Mas o meu objectivo era não só dar o titulo ao LAshley (que é um tipo que eu gosto desde 2006 e achava que ia, junto com o Chris Masters, ser o Campeão durante anos e anos - sim eu sou o fiho perdido do Vince) mas também estabelecer a sua mega stable. Ou seja. Não só o Lashley é o LAshley, aquele monstro convincente, como tem à sua volta quatro gajos de respeito (Miz, Morrison, Ziggler e Titus). Isto tem potencial para ser demolidor. E pode impelir outros a formarem a sua stable para poderem resistir. Logo veremos.

Quanto À Asuka, dou-vos razão. tb não gostei muito do finish desse combate. Andei muito à voltas, muito sem saber como acabar o combate, e agora re-li-o e não gostei. Acontece. Eu tinha dois objectivos essenciais. A Sasha reter (e a Sasha é muito boa, não choca que ela vença a qualquer wrestler, incluindo a Asuka) mas queria lançar um feud tag team entre as Kabuki e a Liv e Lana (aceito sugestões de nomes para esta tag), até pq as Blonde Bombshells, caramba, não são propriamente a ultima bolacha do pacote né (Ninguém imagina elas a terem um reinado de 6 meses, pois não). Mas acho que não fiz isso bem feito. é o combate piorzinho de facto. Botch.

Sim, mas eu tentei fazr perpassar a mensagem de que a Asuka acaba por perder pq estava muito concentrada em feudar com a Liv e a Lacey do no combate e si. Ou seja, aquelas duas equipas foram para ali feudar em tag team e a Sasha, a unica que não se distraiu com isso acaba por ganhar. Mas o combate não foi bem escrito, e o fim tb não está bom.

Vic Joseph: Good evening everyone, and welcome to Monday Night Raw. We’re live from the Frank Erwin Center, in Austin, Texas. Next to me I have my broadcast colleagues Aiden English and Byron Saxton. Gentleman, what do we have planned for tonight? 

Aiden English: We have some exciting matches planned for tonight, like this amazing tag team matches, where Edge and the WWE champion Drew McIntyre will join forces to face Randy Orton and the Undisputed Era leader Adam Cole. The Intercontinental champion Sami Zayn will also be in action, as he will team up with Cesaro to take on Kevin Owens and EC3. Last but not least, the Raw Tag Team champions, The Geniuses, will defend their titles against the Street Profits. 

Byron Saxton: We’re also gonna have singles action, as Rusev and Shelton Benjamin will fight tonight. We also have the finals of the tournament to determine Sami Zayn’s opponent at Battleground, between Daniel Bryan and Roderick Strong. And for now, we’re gonna start things off with a match between Nia Jax and Peyton Royce. 

Vic Joseph: That’s right, after last week’s battle royal controversial ending, the General Manager booked this match, and if Peyton Royce wins, she will be added to the Raw Women’s Championship match at Battleground, turning it into a Triple Threat Match. 

 

Peyton Royce vs Nia Jax 

vs

Peyton veio acompanhada por Billie Kay, mas Nia veio sozinha, no entanto, antes do combate de tocar, toca a música de Ruby Riott, que aparece juntamente com Sarah Logan e as duas ficam no canto de Nia Jax. O combate começa com Nia Jax a usar a sua força para exercer domínio sobre a sua adversária, e aplica um body avalanche seguido de um elbow drop. Nia vai dominando o combate, e agarra em Peyton, aplica um military press, seguido de um running leg drop, Nia quer acabar rápido, 1,2... Peyton consegue-se escapar. Nia decide então aplicar o powerslam, 1,2... Peyton safa-se. Nia começa a ficar chateada, levanta Peyton, samoan drop, 1,2... Peyton volta a safar-se. Nia está super irritada, enquanto que no ringside Billie Kay vai puxando por Peyton, que está a mostrar muita garra ao manter-se neste combate. Passado um pouco Nia vai para mais um running leg drop, mas Peyton consegue desviar-se e levanta-se, pontapeando Nia nas costas. Peyton tenta capitalizar mas Nia começa a levantar-se, mas Peyton consegue acertar vários pontapés e um running bulldog, 1,2... Nia safa-se. Mas Peyton quer ir ao Battleground, continua o ataque em Nia que continua a tentar levantar-se, e quando consegue Peyton acerta um knee strike, mas Nia não cai, Peyton acerta mais um knee strike mas Nia continua sem ir ao chão, Peyton apanha balanço, vai para mais um knee strike mas Nia apanha-a com um spinebuster. Nia agarra em Peyton e aplica o jaxlam, mas em vez de ir para o pin, levanta-a de novo, e acerta um KO punch em cheio na cara de Peyton. 1,2..3 Nia Jax consegue a vitória e vai enfrentar Becky Lynch 1 vs 1 no Battleground. 

 

Enquanto as IIconics abandonam o ringue, são atacadas por Ruby e Sarah Logan, que as atiram contra a barricade e as colocam de volta no ringue. Nia agarra em Peyton, e vai para lhe dar mais um KO punch na cara... 

Theme da Becky Lynch 

A campeã corre rampa abaixo, Sarah Logan sai do ringue e as duas lutam no ringside, com Becky a conseguir atirar Logan contra os degraus. Ela entra no ringue, Ruby tenta atacá-la mas esta consegue-se desviar e acerta uma clothesline. Quando se vira para Nia Jax... KO punch, em cheio na cara. Nia permanece vitoriosa depois de derrubar a campeã, será um sinal do que está para vir no Battleground? 

 

Vemos agora um vídeo de quando o Mr. Money in the Bank Samoa Joe chegou ao edifício durante a tarde e foi abordado por Charly Caruso. 

Charly: Samoa Joe, last week you said to Drew McIntyre that you’d continue to be around him, and tonight he will have a huge tag team match where he’s gonna face both Randy Orton and Adam Cole, so what are your plans? 

Samoa Joe: Once again, I will join on commentary and watch that match really close. 

Charly: So there’s a chance you’ll cash in tonight?

E voltamos ao ringue para um Raw Tag Team Championship Match.

Montez Ford começa o combate com Zack Ryder, e assim que a campainha toca, acerta-lhe em cheio com um superkick, que faz Ryder cair, este rebola para o seu canto e faz o tag com Curt Hawkins. Hawkins entra no ringue, mas assim que Montez lhe tenta acertar este sai do ringue, e recusa-se a voltar a menos que Montez lhe dê espaço. Montez recua e Hawkins entra em ringue, parece que o combate vai realmente começar, mas as intenções dos campeões são outras, e Hawkins pontapeia Montez no meio das pernas. O árbitro manda soar a campainha, os campeões rapidamente agarram nos títulos e fogem. O ring announcer informa que os vencedores são os Street Profits, mas que os títulos se mantêm com os Geniuses, que mais uma vez defendem com sucesso, usando táticas pouco éticas. Os Street Profits ficam irritadíssimos no ringue. 

 

Intervalo 

 

Rusev vs Shelton Benjamin 

vs

Começa o combate a um ritmo lento, com ambos em lock up, até que Shelton acerta um step up high knee. Shelton vai acertando uns elbow drops, e também pisando várias vezes o tornozelo de Rusev enquanto este está no chão. Shelton puxa Rusev para um canto e atira repetidamente o tornozelo de Rusev contra o poste, até que tem que parar porque o árbitro ameaça desqualificá-lo. Shelton volta ao ringue, agarra em Rusev e aplica um northern lights suplex, vai para o pin mas Rusev escapa-se. Shelton continua ao ataque mas Rusev vai resistindo, e a crowd começa a mostrar o seu apoio. Rusev consegue desviar-se de uma clothesline e acerta um dropkick, seguido de um senton e levanta Shelton e acerta um bul-plex. Rusev prepara-se para o machka kick, e acerta-o quando Shelton se levanta, mas foi demasiado impacto para o tornozelo de Rusev e este cede e cai ao chão. Os dois tentam levantar-se, e Rusev vai para uma clothesline, mas Shelton consegue-lhe agarrar no braço e aplica um arm trap backbreaker. Rusev prende então o ankle lock no tornozelo magoado de Rusev, que resiste para não desistir. Neste momento Aiden English levanta-se da mesa dos comentadores e aproxima-se do ringue, começando a bater nos degraus ao ritmo de “Rusev Day”, fazendo a crowd entoar o cântico para apoiar Rusev. Rusev resiste, não desiste, e acaba por conseguir levantar-se e acertar um dragon whip para se libertar da manobra, os dois levantam-se, Shelton corre na direção de Rusev mas sofre um kitchen sink. A crowd está a puxar por Rusev, e este agarra em Shelton e prende um bearhug. Shelton tenta libertar-se com várias cotoveladas mas Rusev simplesmente não o larga, e é então que Shelton dá um pontapé no meio das pernas de Rusev, que passa despercebido ao árbitro, e Rusev assim larga Shelton, que aplica logo o Paydirt, 1,2...3 Shelton consegue a vitória sobre Rusev. 

Rusev esteve muito perto desta vez, mas Shelton conseguiu a vitória. Aiden English entra no ringue para encorajar Rusev, que está desolado, e depois ajuda-o a sair do ringue já que este está a coxear. 

 

Passamos para uma sala escura, com Aleister Black. 

Aleister: Nakamura seemed to be a wise man, and he even did something wise costing me my match against Roderick Strong last week, because after  our match, Nakamura knew that I would take the Intercontinental title away from his friend. But Shinsuke, what you did wasn’t so wise, because you picked a fight with me, and this time it won’t be like our match at the tournament where I just wanted the victory, this time, I want to hurt you. 

 

De volta ao ringue...

Jinder vem ao ringue acompanhado dos Singh Brothers e de Great Khali. 

Jinder: Last week, I showed to that stupid and short Chad Gable, that no matter how much he tries, he just can’t overcome all the odds. And that’s why I brought back the  Great Khali, look at him, twice the size of that minnion Chad Gable.

Chad Gable: You’re a funny guy Jinder, saying that I can’t overcome the odds when I’ve been beating you and that dumb and dumber next to you for the  last month. And now you have another enforcer, the Great Khali, a biiiig big man, with hands the size of me head, and you know what? 4 vs 1... I admit that may be a little too much to overcome, which is why I’m here to challenge all 4 of you to a match next week, against me and someone else, 4 on 2. Does that sound good to you? 

Jinder: And who is gonna be your partner? 

Chad Gable: Why? Are you afraid? It’s still 4 on 2 Jinder, c’mon, don’t be a coward, just accept the challenge. 

Jinder: Coward? You’re calling me coward? How dare you, you stupid american? You know what? We are The Pride of India, so it doesn’t matter who you bring as your partner, we will beat you next week. 

 

Passamos para o backstage com Shelton Benjamin a chegar e a aproximar-se de Apollo Crews. 

Shelton: Ah ah, did you see that, kid? I beated Rusev, that’s how it’s done. 

Apollo: Yeah you did, after you went low on him, man! 

Shelton: Just understand once and for all, THAT DOESN’T MATTER. I got the job done, I won that match, that’s the only thing that matters. Thanks to that victory I’m getting a bigger paycheck tonight, that’s what matters. You have a wife, right? Don’t you want to start a family? Don’t you need money for that? Just think, kid. 

Passa o General Manager Paul Wight. 

Shelton: Hey Paul, can you do me a favor? Can you get my boy here a match against Rusev for next week? 

Paul Wight: Sure, I don’t see why not, consider it done. 

Shelton: Great, let’s see if you can beat him on your way Apollo. 

 

Vic Joseph: And it’s time for the final match of the tournament. The winner of this match will face Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental title at Battleground. Let’s remember their track to get here, Daniel Bryan beated EC3 and Shelton Benjamin, while Roderick Strong beated Rey Mysterio and Aleister Black to get to the final. 

Daniel Bryan vs Roderick Strong

Ambos vêm para o ringue sozinhos. A atmosfera à volta deste combate é muito forte, a crowd sabe a qualidade que estes dois têm. Começa o combate de forma muito técnica, com ambos a tentarem focar pontos específicos do adversário e a desgastá-los. Bryan encosta Strong às cordas e aplica algumas chest chops, mas Roderick usa as cordas a seu favor e acerta um rope assisted enziguri, e de seguida um half nelson backbreaker, primeira tentativa de pin mas Bryan safa-se. O combate segue, Bryan consegue recuperar controlo com um dragon screw, e prende o heel hook, mas está perto das cordas e passado alguns segundos Roderick consegue romper a manobra, mas o estrago foi feito no tornozelo de Roderick. A partir daí Bryan foca-se muito nesse tornozelo. O combate segue por mais alguns minutos com Bryan no controlo, e ele consegue aplicar um butterfly suplex, seguido dos yes kicks, e prepara-se para o running knee, corre para Strong quando este se levanta, mas Strong consegue ser mais rápido e acerta ele o sick kick. Strong fica bastante queixoso do tornozelo, o que lhe custa alguns segundos, mas vai para o pin, 1,2... Bryan consegue safar-se. Segue o combate por mais alguns minutos, e com cerca de 20 minutos, Strong consegue um capture backbreaker, no entanto está um pouco mais lento que o normal, devido às dores no tornozelo, e levanta Daniel Bryan, prepara-se para o end of heartache, mas Bryan dá-lhe várias cotoveladas para este o soltar, e acerta-lhe com um roundhouse kick, Strong vai contra o canto, Bryan corre virado a ele e acerta 3 corner dropkicks de seguida, Strong vai ao chão, e Bryan prende o yes lock. Parece que Strong vai desistir, mas de repente... 

Theme dos Undisputed Era 

Bobby Fish e Kyle O’Reilly correm na direção do ringue, e Bryan acaba por soltar a manobra, para reclamar com Bobby e Kyle por estarem ali, e é aí que... 

Theme do Drew Gulak 

O amigo de Daniel Bryan vem equilibrar as contas, e traz com ele uma cadeira de aço para ajudar a garantir que Bobby e Kyle não se envolvem no combate. 

Strong começa a levantar-se, chega por trás de Bryan e consegue um roll up, 1,2... Bryan safa-se, e dá um pontapé em Strong, apanha balanço... running knee, 1,2...3. Daniel Bryan vence o torneio e vai defrontar Sami Zayn no Battleground pelo Intercontinental title. Drew Gulak celebra com Daniel Bryan. 

 

Intervalo 

 

Kevin Owens & EC3 vs Sami Zayn & Cesaro 

vs

EC3 e Cesaro começam o combate, com Cesaro a conseguir sentar EC3 e aplicar o rolling neck snap. Cesaro e Sami Zayn vão fazendo tags constantes, mantendo-se frescos e dominando EC3 no seu canto. Cesaro prende EC3 num crossface, mas EC3 vai resistindo, e consegue mesmo levantar-se com Cesaro nas suas costas, e deixa-se cair para trás, obrigando Cesaro a soltar a manobra. Ambos tentam chegar ao tag, e acabam por conseguir ao mesmo tempo, Sami e Owens entram no ringue, mas Sami pede a Owens que não lutem, Owens hesita por um bocado, mas acaba por responder com um DDT, seguido de um senton. Owens ataca Sami de forma muito agressiva, e aplica um fireman's carry gutbuster, 1,2... Sami safa-se. O combate continua, passado um bocado Sami consegue evitar um pop-up powerbomb, aplicando um push-off dropkick. EC3 faz o tag com Kevin Owens, vai virado a Sami mas este aplica um rolling arm drag e acerta-lhe um calf kick. Segue o combate, eventualmente EC3 consegue equilibrar depois de leaping snapmare facebuster. Entretanto ambos têm a mesma ideia, e acertam uma clothesline, ficando os dois no chão, e ambos tentam chegar ao tag, algo que fazem ao mesmo tempo. Owens e Cesaro entram em ringue, Cesaro vai para um big boot, mas Owens desvia-se, vai às cordas e na volta acerta uma lariat, seguido de um double foot stomp, Owens levanta Cesaro, aplica um german suplex mas Cesaro aterra de pé, vai ele próprio para um german suplex, agarra em Owens por trás, mas Owens pisa-lhe o pé, agarra lhe na cabeça e... stunner. Sami salta para dentro do ringue para evitar o pin, mas EC3 entra também e bloqueia Sami com um crossbody, Owens vai para o pin, 1,2...3. Owens e EC3 conseguem a vitória.

 

Acaba o combate, e temos Kevin Owens e EC3 a festejar, quando de repente fica tudo escuro, no ecrã aparecem as palavras “KNOWLEDGE IS POWER” aparece o hacker, de costas para a câmera, com a voz distorcida.

Hacker: It is time to reveal the truth. You can’t trust anyone. Someone has been keeping his enemies close... 

O hacker mostra uma gravação que mostra a data de 4 de Maio, o dia em que Kevin Owens foi atacado, o que lhe custou o seu lugar no Money in the Bank. Vemos Kevin Owens sozinho a dirigir-se aos balneários, e passado uns segundos, aparece alguém a segui-lo com um tubo de aço na mão. Passamos para outro ângulo, onde vemos o perseguidor a aproximar-se por trás de Owens e a acertar-lhe em cheio na cabeça, fazendo-o cair inconsciente. O atacante corre dali para fora, nas imagens não foi possível ver-lhe a cara, já que ele tinha uma camisola preta com capuz, no entanto... vemos as imagens de outra câmera enquanto ele foge, e nessa sim, dá para ver claramente quem é... EC3. 

EC3, que está no ringue com Owens, olha para ele e foge imediatamente dali para fora, e Owens nem se mexe. No ringside vemos Sami Zayn a rir-se junto a Cesaro e Nakamura, e decidem também sair dali para fora porque Owens parece perder a cabeça e começa aos pontapés ás cordas do ringue, sai para fora e vira a mesa dos comentadores ao contrário cheio de raiva. Owens abandona a área, e parece que vai atrás de EC3. 

 

Cortamos abruptamente para a zona dos balneários onde está uma grande confusão, com vários árbitros a correr, e vemos Shayna Baszler com o kirifuda driver bem preso em Naomi, como se estivesse possuída. Naomi está inconsciente e após muita insistência dos árbitros Shayna larga-a e vai-se embora, enquanto os árbitros chamam assistência médica para Naomi. 

Segundos depois, vemos EC3 a correr e a abandonar o edifício, meio atabalhoado, com uma mochila e ainda com a gear vestida, parece que por hoje conseguiu escapar à fúria de Kevin Owens. 

 

Drew McIntyre & Edge vs Randy Orton & Adam Cole 

vs

A lutar pela primeira vez em 9 anos no Raw, Edge tem direito a uma entrada com fogo de artifício. Quem não quis ficar atrás foi Adam Cole, que a fazer a sua estreia desde que se mudou para o Raw, e teve também fogo de artifício a sair dos postes do ringue durante o BOOM na sua entrada. Antes de começar o combate, toca também a música do Mr. Money in the Bank, Samoa Joe, e este junta-se à mesa de comentadores.

Drew começa o combate, enquanto que do outro lado há alguma tensão entre Orton e Cole, já que ambos querem começar, e acaba por ser Orton. Drew puxa Orton contra as cordas, na volta tenta acertar uma clothesline, mas Orton desvia-se e vai até às cordas do outro lado, onde Cole faz o tag, Orton não fica satisfeito, mas Cole entra no ringue. Nessa momento, Edge pede a Drew que faça o tag, a crowd entusiasma-se, e Drew acede ao pedido. Edge entra em ringue determinado, e imediatamente lança-se ao ataque sobre Adam Cole. Os dois partilham o ringue durante alguns minutos, com Edge a conseguir aplicar algumas manobras como o half nelson bulldog e o sitout powerbomb, enquanto que Cole consegue um hangman's neckbreaker e também um jumping neckbreaker, focando-se claramente no pescoço de Edge. A certa altura, com Edge já bastante esgotado, Cole tenta acertar-lhe um bicycle kick, mas Edge desvia-se e acerta o Edge-O-Matic. Edge esforça-se para chegar ao tag com Drew, enquanto Orton chama por Adam Cole, mas este tenta levantar-se e recuperar em vez de fazer o tag. Edge consegue mesmo o tag e Drew entra no ringue, indo virado a Cole e acerta logo um big boot. Drew continua o ataque com um overhead belly to belly, Drew tenta o pin mas Adam Cole safa-se. O combate segue, e passado um pouco já é Edge que está de novo no ringue com Adam Cole, a fadiga de Cole começa-se a fazer sentir, e Edge consegue ter algum domínio, conseguindo até prender o sharpshooter, Adam Cole está em problemas, mas não parece que Orton vá entrar no ringue para quebrar a manobra, e Cole vai resistindo e tentando chegar às cordas, o que passado um pouco consegue, mas fica bastante desgastado. Edge tenta continuar o ataque, levanta Adam Cole mas este contra-ataca com um enziguri. Cole está esgotado, e agora sim quer fazer o tag, está quase a chegar a Orton mas...este chega-se para trás no último segundo, e sai da apron. Orton começa a afastar-se, e deixa Adam Cole sozinho. Entretanto Edge aproxima-se de Drew para fazer o tag, mas... Randy Orton puxa Drew e ataca-o violentamente no ringside, atirando-o contra a barricade e contra os degraus de aço. Edge consegue-se levantar, e Cole também o está a fazer, Edge corre virado a ele e lança-se para um spear, mas Cole salta e Edge acerta na turnbuckle, e fica bastante desorientado. Orton corre rapidamente para o seu canto, faz o tag com Adam Cole sem este estar à espera, entra em ringue, RKO em Edge, 1,2...3. Randy Orton consegue a vitória para a sua equipa no seu primeiro combate desde a Wrestlemania, tendo feito apenas uma manobra durante o combate inteiro.

 

Randy Orton abandona logo o ringue, mas antes de ir embora, aproxima-se de Drew, e ouve se a dizer-lhe “I will take your title”. Com Edge vencido e deitado no ringue, Adam Cole aproxima-se dele.

Bobby Fish e Kyle O’Reilly juntam-se a Adam Cole, e levantam Edge. Adam Cole prepara-se para um superkick...

Ricochet aparece e Bobby e Kyle largam Edge. Ricochet espera na rampa...

Aí estão os dois que foram atacados pela Undisputed Era há duas semanas, correm rampa abaixo e entram no ringue, escapam-se às tentativas de clothesline de Bobby e Kyle e acertam um double dropkick em Adam Cole fazendo-o sair do ringue. Bobby e Kyle conseguem então acertar-lhes alguns murros, mas Drew McIntyre volta ao ringue e acerta um Claymore kick em Bobby Fish. Kyle fica assustado, está sozinho no ringue contra 3, e com um hurricanrana Ricochet mete-o em posicão para o 619 que Rey aplica de imediato. Kyle fica a cambalear em pé e... spear de Edge. Drew, Edge, Ricochet e Rey cumprimentam-se no ringue, enquanto a Undisputed Era abandona a área.

Curioso para saber quem é o partner do Gable, se o Show não fosse o GM dizia que era ele.

Acho que mesmo não ganhando, o Strong sai bem deste torneio, venceu o Rey e o Aleister e teve um grande combate contra o Daniel Bryan. Para primeiro mês no Raw, acho que deixa uma boa imagem.

Tinha outras opções, mas assim continua se a dar algum destaque ao EC3. Parecia que estava a ir na direção de um face turn, mas afinal é mesmo um idiota (aliás, é um idiota, ponto, já que no main roster ainda ninguém conhecia a sua personalidade já que ele não fazia nada antes).

De facto o unico que fazia sentido contra o Great Khali é o Big Show. Mas ele está reformado. Só se for o Mark Henry, mas esse acho que mal se mexe já.

Cheguei a pensar que podia ser demais, mas se vires bem, a crowd já há muito que não se importava com o Rusev, e agora, desde aquele segmento com o Aiden, é que lhes tenho dado alguma esperança para se importarem. Pode ser demais, mas acaba por ser uma história em que quanto mais ao fundo for, mais empatia pode gerar e mais vontade a crowd tem de o ver a dar a volta. 

Quando estava over não teve hipóteses para capitalizar o sucesso, entretanto perdeu a mulher e a feud para o gajo que lha roubou (isto ainda irl) e entretanto vai em 4 derrotas seguidas, a primeira para o EC3, que até se entende devido ao push que tem tido, depois para o Rowan, o que começa a indicar que há problemas, e por último para o Riddick Moss, que foi a gota de água.

Entretanto na semana seguinte tem o segmento com o Aiden, que lhe propõe o regresso do Rusev Day, e aí a crowd passa a ter algo com que se importar, apesar de já terem perdido as esperanças no Rusev. Mas ele não aceitou, ficou apenas a pensar nisso, mas claramente já teve algum efeito, já que esta semana, apesar de não ter ganho (talvez fosse repentino regressar já às vitórias) já esteve perto, e só perdeu devido a um low blow. E foi contra o Shelton, que também tem tido algum destaque, não foi propriamente contra um jobber.

Agora na próxima semana vai ter um combate contra o Apollo, e duas histórias vão se cruzar, vamos ver o que irá acontecer.

O perfil dele não é exatamente aquilo que o Sami procura para o seu grupo, não é um "artist". Calhou de ser revelado na presença deles porque queria aquela imagem do Sami a rir-se do Owens com o "I told you so", porque na semana passada o Sami tinha dado a entender ao Owens que não era da personalidade dele estar se a aproximar do EC3 e confiar nele.

Mercedes Martinez - Last week after my match Charlotte and Chelsea decided to jump me on a 2 on 1 attack. I expected that from Chelsea because, let's face it, you're not that good honey. But Charlotte? Queen? I didn't knew you were the coward type. But shame on me, you're the daughter of the dirtiest player in the game after all.
Both of you looked real tough when it was 2 on 1, but i've found myself a tag team partner.

Mia Yim - Now i'm here to watch Mercedes back. Let's see how tough you are when you don't have the numbers advantage.

Charlotte Flair - Ohh, you found a friend Mercedes? How cute? See the Queen doens't back down from any challenge! Chelsea, get your ass out here and let's teach those two a lesson. And maybe you'll learn a thing or two with the Queen. WOOO!

O combate começa com Charlotte e Mercedes num teste de força que Mercedes leva a melhor e atira Charlotte para o chão. Charlotte vai até ao canto, Chelsea pede a Charlotte para fazer o tag mas esta recusa e volta a encarar Mercedes. Charlotte acerta com várias chapadas mas sem efeito em Martinez que ataca com um Big Boot. Desta vez Charlotte vai até ao canto e deixa Chelsea entrar no combate.
Mercedes rapidamente acerta com um German Suplex em Chelsea e faz o tag com Mia Yim.
Mia vai dominando Chelsea até que Robert Stone a distrai subindo até ao apron do ringue, Chelsea aproveita e acerta com um Chop Block na perna de Mia Yim para começar a controlar o combate.
Tags frequentes entre Charlotte e Chelsea que vão mantendo Mia Yim do seu lado do ringue sem lhe dar hipótese para fazer o tag com Mercedes.
A certa altura Charlotte e Chelsea tentam um Double Suplex em Mia Yim mas Mercedes entra no ringue para impedir o 2 on 1 e acerta com um German em Charlotte e envia Chelsea para fora do ringue.
Mia Yim consegue chegar ao canto e fazer o tag com Mercedes que acerta com uma joelhada em Charlotte que a envia para o canto do ringue. Charlotte faz o tag com Chelsea que ainda se estava a recompor e rapidamente sai do ringue.
Mercedes deixa Mia Yim entrar de novo no combate e ela acerta com o Protect Ya Neck em Chelsea, novo tag com Mercedes que aplica o Surfboard Dragon Sleeper enquanto olha para Charlotte e esta sobe o stage. Chelsea sem opções acaba por desistir enquanto Charlotte se vai embora.

Matt Riddle - Hey, you know your bro Matt Riddle, the Original Bro is always in a good mood. But there is something that has been bothering me bro and that is Pete Dunne.

Quando Riddle se preparava para responder é atacado por Damien Priest que apareceu pelas suas costas. Damien Priest acerta com o Reckoning e abandona o ringue.
Com Riddle ainda no chão Pete Dunne entra no ringue e acerta com o Bitter End em Matt Riddle.

Isaiah "Swerve" Scott - Jordan Devlin! I want my title shot right now! Or you can't fight without your fath.. mentor Finn?

O combate começa com um ritmo elevado com Swerve a acertar vários moves e rapidamente a tentar o cover para ganhar o título. Claramente Swerve sabe o que tem a fazer para ganhar a Devlin visto que já o fez uma vez.
Jordan Devlin sai do ringue para tentar acalmar o combate mas Swerve acerta com um Suicide Dive enviando Devlin imediatamente de volta ao ringue. Swerve sobe ao canto e acerta com o 450 Splash! 1 2.. Jordan Devlin consegue-se safar!
Swerve sente que está perto de ganhar o combate e não pára de atacar Devlin até que consegue acertar com o Last Shot! 1 2.. E o pinfall é interrompido por Finn Balor que acerta com o Coupe de Grâce em Swerve enquanto este fazia o cover! O arbitro acaba o combate por DQ.

De repente aparece Velveteen Dream a correr em direcção do ringue mas Devlin e Finn vão-se embora deixando Swerve estendido no meio do ringue.

Rhea Ripley - Bianca Belair, i would like you to come to this ring now please.

Bianca Belair - Please gurl don't start saying i was lucky and all of that ok? I've beat you last week in the middle of this ring fair and square.

Rhea sai do ringue e dá um encontrão com o ombro em Bianca quando passa por ela.

Keith Lee domina o inicio do combate acertando com várias chapadas no peito de Dijakovic que o deixam sem ar. Com Dijakovic no chão Keith Lee diz-lhe "i respected you man, why would you do that?"
Keith tenta a Spirit Bomb mas Dijakovic consegue escapar e foge para fora do ringue. Lee não dá tempo a Dijakovic para respirar e tenta um Tope Con Hilo mas Dijakovic desvia-se fazendo com que Keith caia desamparado no chão fora do ringue.
Dijakovic mete Keith Lee no ringue e tenta o cover mas Lee safa-se na contagem de 2.
Dijakovic vai dominando com várias rest holds mas sem nunca conseguir o pinfall em Lee até que Keith se levanta e acerta com um Dropkick em Dijakovic que faz com que este vá contra o arbitro.
Keith Lee vai ver se o arbitro está bem e este vai-se levantado aos poucos já que o impacto não foi assim tanto mas isto abre a oportunidade para Dijakovic usar uma soqueira e acertar em cheio no queixo de Keith Lee que fica desmaiado no meio do ringue. O arbitro não viu porque estava ainda a recuperar. 1 2 3! Dominik Dijakovic consegue vencer finalmente Keith Lee!

No fim do combate Dijakovic senta-se ao lado de Keith Lee e diz-lhe "i've never respected you, i hate your guts".

 

Alex Shelley - Me and Kushida came here to NXT for one reason only, to show the world that we are the best tag team in this bussiness. But so far we haven't done that, one week is outside interference, another week is some dirty tactics and we're sick of it!
We were suposed to have a classic tag team match against Mustache Mountain a couple weeks ago but the Tag Team Champions didn't let that happened.
Now i trully aprecciate what Mr.Regal did booking that three way for TakeOver but we still want to have that match. Out of the respect we have for Tyler Bate and Trent Seven we wanna prove we are the better team. So boys, what do you say?

Os 4 cumprimentam-se antes do combate começar mas antes que o arbitro dê inicio ao combate aparecem Andrade e Angel Garza com uma cadeira cada um e sobem até ao apron mas de repente..

I'm sick of this, i'm tired of both of you always messing around, attacking people from behind, in the ring, backstage, outside, enough! I've made a excecutive decision. Regal booked a three away for TakeOver but TakeOver is too far away and you two need to learn a lesson about respect. Respect for those four guys, respect for those titles, respect for this brand, respect for me!
The match that Regal booked it's still on, but i'm moving it to next week. It's gonna be a Triple Threat Tag Team Tornado Match with all of you in the ring at the same time, winner gets the Tag Team Titles! Oh and by the way, Zelina? You're banned from ringside.

Tomasso Ciampa vs Karrion Kross
Altura para o main event desta semana. O combate começa com Ciampa bastante agressiva a acertar com duas chapadas na cara de Kross mas estas não fazem nada a Kross que se ri na cara de Ciampa.
Ciampa acerta com um pontapé no abdomen de Kross e de seguida com um Suplex mas mal Kross cai no ringue levanta-se imediamente a seguir com um sorriso na cara. Ciampa não acredita e parece que viu um fantasma!
Ciampa acerta com uma joelhada e um Superkick em Kross mas este volta-se a levantar como se nada fosse enquanto se ri na cara de Ciampa.
Kross tenta uma Clothesline mas Ciampa consegue-se esquivar e acerta com o Fairytale Ending! 1.. Kross safa-se! Karrion Kross safa-se do Fairytale Ending na contagem de 1!
Ciampa não acredita e ouve-se ele a dizer "what the f***?!".
Karrion Kross levanta-se e acerta com 3 Snap Suplex em Ciampa que fica em mau estado agarrado ao seu pescoço estendido no meio do ringue. Com Scarlett a rir fora do ringue Kross aplica o Kross Jacket em Tomasso Ciampa que vai lutando para tentar chegar às cordas.
Eventualmente Ciampa acaba por desmaiar e o arbitro é obrigado a para o combate atribuindo a vitória a Karrion Kross por submission.
