in KO's defense, eu já tive (creio). Mas tb eu tenho ppvs menos espaçados e posso (aliás, tenho de, sob pena de ter 10 combates em cada ppv) omitir um ou dois titulos de um ppv, defendem no proximo, e assim sucessivamente. Quem tem ppvs mais espaçados....se calhar nao pode tão bem.

Eu crítico que os títulos não forem defendidos em PPV se for por "esquecimento" ou simplesmente falta de ideias, este não é esse caso. Não vai ser defendido por imposição da Ronda e concordância do Shane. Sei bem que não é decisão popular, mas é mesmo essa a ideia. A Ronda vem com a ideia de que é a maior e só luta quando quer e lhe apetece, e teve a concordância do Shane só para prejudicar o Paul Wight.

aqui estou um bocado como o Ruas. não gosto irl quando a WWE faz isso, juntar o roster td no stage para qualquer coisa que interesse a todos. Não é isso que nos vendem - em kayfabe - o que nos vendem é que aquilo são vários grupos de individuos (e não uma união coesa), alguns dos quais nem se podem ver à frente. Porem isso de lado por "uma coisa que interessa a todos", sempre me soou a buraco no kayfabe.

Mas vá, não acho inadmissivel.

 

Mas repara, a Bayley, a Nia, a Ruby e a Logan podem ser heels, mas se havia o risco de não haver combates femininos no PPV, elas também tinham que se impor. Um Heel não é só coisas más, também têm os seus princípios, e um deles é que querem oportunidades. Ou iam agora deixar de lutar pelas suas carreiras só para não estarem lado a lado com as faces? Ademais que desta forma, todas juntas, criam mais dimensão, e mostram que é um problema sério.

Tyler Breeze - When i came back to NXT everybody was excited, i was excited because it was here at NXT that Prince Pretty was born, it was here at NXT that i fullfield my potencial. People say that here you will have oportunities, managment will believe in you and you can achieve your goals. That might be true for some people but not for me. Since i've returned i had zero oportunities, zero title matches, nothing!
But there's some people who had those chances and i'm sick of it. So, Lio Rush, come out here please.

Lio Rush - Tyler Breeze, Prince Pretty, one of the faces of NXT right? At least of the old NXT i guess. Tell me man, do you have a problem with me?
Tyler Breeze - I guess i have Lio. I just want to know why are you the only one who had a chance to become the number one contender for the Cruiserweight Championship. There's a lot of cruiserweights here in NXT but you are the only one who had a chance to challenge for that title after Isaiah "Swerve" Scott won it. Why is that Lio?
Lio Rush - Look, i can't answer that question because i don't know. I didn't self appoint myself as the new number one contender. Swerve said you was gonna be a fighthing champion, i saw an oportunity and i took it, simple as that. I'm a former Cruiserweight Champion, i'm the best cruiserweight on this roster, maybe that's why Tyler.
Tyler Breeze - Oh you're the best, is that right Lio? Who made you the best? What matches have you won to consider yourself the best? Who have you beaten to think you are the best? Didn't you lost your title to Jordan Devlin? So i guess he's better than you right?

Tyler Breeze entra agressivo no combate e acerta imediatamente com o Supermodel Kick em Lio Rush mas este safa-se do pinfall na contagem de 2. Imediatamente dá para ver a frustração na cara de Tyler Breeze. Ele sente que tem algo a provar e quer vencer este combate mais que tudo.
Apesar de tudo Breeze consegue acalmar a sua ofensiva e tenta desgastar Lio Rush com várias submissões e vai dominando durante alguns minutos. Lio Rush tenta voltar ao combate com um Suplex mas Breeze consegue impedi-lo e acerta ele com um Suplex. Lio Rush volta a safar-se na contagem de 2 e a frustração de Breeze continua a aumentar e desta vez começa a discutir com o arbitro. Com Breeze de costas Lio Rush consegue surpreende-lo e acerta com o Poison Rana! Breeze cai de cabeça no meio do ringue e parece ter-se aleijado no pescoço. Scarlett - Now that Dominik Dijakovic is not a problem anymore we can move on from that. He's not here tonight and i don't think he'll be here for a very long time and. So he can't challenge for the NXT North American Championship but Karrion Kross can. I'm not saying to just give us a title shot, no, not at all. We just want a match, a one on one match against Matt Riddle. When Kross wins that match he's the new number one contender. What do you say Riddle? Are you up to the challenge or like everybody else are you scared?

Velveteen Dream - Hold on sweetheart. Do you think you can just come here and get title shots by asking? Do you think you can just beat somebody up and than that their spot? The Dream is not here to defend Dijakovic don't get me wrong. The Dream is here because he wants a title shot as well. So if your man wants a title shot he has to beat me first!
Scarlett - Oh Dream you don't have time for that. You are here for Matt Riddle not for you. But don't be sad, stay right there, we have something for you too.

De repente por trás de Velveteen Dream aparece Tomasso Ciampa! Cimpa ataca violentamente Dream com vários socos e acaba por acertar com o Fairy Tale Ending. Ciampa abandona o ringue de seguida e sai lado a lado com Karrion Kross.

Alex Shelley encolhe os ombros e aceita a decisão de Kushida, os dois caminham para o ringue e parece que vamos ter um combate.

British Strong Style vs The Time Splitters
Os British Strong Style parecem ter algum dificuldade em decidir quem vai lutar neste combate já que Trent não acha boa ideia que este combate aconteça e fica a discutir com Pete Dunne. Kushida e Shelley aproveitam e acertam com um Double Dropkick que envia os dois para fora do ringue. Shelley agarra rapidamente em Tyler Bate e acerta com um DDT, faz o tag com Kushida que acerta com um Senton do canto mas Tyler Bate consegue safar-se na contagem de 2.
O combate vai sendo dominado pelos Time Splitters enquanto Dunne e Trent continuam a discutir fora do ringue. Eventualmente os dois conseguem arranjar um plano e Pete Dunne sobe até ao apron para distrair o arbitro enquanto Trent Seven ataca Shelley fora do ringue. Trent Seven acerta com o Seven Stars Lariat deixando Shelley estendido e virtualmente fora do combate.
Kushida fica preocupado com o seu companheiro e quando tenta virar-se para Tyler Bate este faz o tag com Pete Dunne. Dunne tenta uma Clothesline mas Kushida consegue desviar-se e acerta com um Dropkick em Tyler Bate que estava na posição de tag. De seguida acerta um Neckbreaker em Pete Dunne e tenta o tag com Shelley mas este volta a ser atacado por Trent Seven. No ringue Tyler Bate tenta entrar distraindo assim o arbitro. Kushida tenta que o arbitro veja o que Trent Seven está a fazer a Shelley mas isto apenas abre a porta a Bate para entrar no ringue e acertar com um Brainbuster nas costas do arbitro. Pete Dunne volta a chamar a atenção do arbitro e acerta em Kushida com o Bitter End. 1 2 3! Os British Strong Style vencem o combate com muita batota à mistura.

No final do combate aparece Zelina Vega que entra no ringue e vai direta à Pete Dunne dando-lhe uma chapada. Pete Dunne apenas se ri na cara dela mas não se apercebe que por trás aparecem Andrade e Angel Garza que começam a atacar os British Strong Style. Os ingleses no entanto conseguem sair do ringue e fogem dali para fora.
Enquanto estão a subir a rampa Andrade pega num microfone.

Andrade - Ib you eber put your hands on Zelina i will end your carrers!

Vamos até ao backstage onde vemos Matt Riddle a passar por Karrion Kross e Scarlett.

Matt Riddle - Karrion bro, i'm going to the ring right now. You want this? If you win you get your title shot. Meet me there, tonight i'm gonna teach you a lesson bro.

Matt Riddle vs Karrion Kross
O combate começa com Matt Riddle a ser bastante agressivo e a não deixar Karrion Kross respirar. Riddle acerta com uma joelhada no queixo de Kross mas este apenas se ri da ofensiva de Riddle. O campeão não se deixa intimidar e acerta com um Ripcord Knee e de seguida com um German Suplex fazendo a ponte para o pinfall mas Kross safa-se na contagem de 1.
Riddle não dá tempo a Kross de atacar e vai acertando com vários Forearms mas estes também não têm grande efeito em Karrion Kross. Kross farta-se dos ataques de Riddle e tenta o Domsday Saito mas Riddle consegue aterrar em pé e acerta com um Ezeguiri. Kross fica no chão a recuperar e Riddle consegue acertar com o Floating Bro! 1.. Karrion Kross volta a safar-se! Kross levanta-se rapidamente e acerta com uma stiff Clothesline em Matt Riddle. Levanta-o e acerta com o Domsday Saito duas vezes seguidas.
Com Riddle no chão Karrion Kross consegue prender o Kross Jacket e Matt Riddle desmaia passado poucos segundos.

Karrion Kross é o novo number one contender para o North American Championship. Será este o resultado do combate pelo título? Karrion Kross continua invecível e parece que ninguém o consegue parar.

 

Vamos até aos balneários onde vemos Keith Lee a conversar com a sua namorada Mia Yim. De repente as luzes começam a falhar até se desligarem totalmente. Na escudirão ouvem-se os gritos de Mia Yim e Keith desesperadamente a gritar por ela. Quando as luzes voltam o Demon está à porta do balneário a agarrar Mia Yim pelos cabelos. O Demon foge com Mia Yim e fecha a porta do balneário. Keith Lee corre atrás deles mas quando sai do balneário não os vê.

Io Shirai vs Bianca Belair - Last Woman Standing Match
Mal o combate começa Bianca corre na direção de Io Shirai e acerta-lhe com uma Clothesline, Shirai levanta-se e Bianca acerta de novo com um Clothesline. De seguida Bianca acerta com um Spinebuster, vai até às cordas e acerta com um Standing Moonsault. O arbitro vai contado mas Io Shirai levanta-se na contagem de 6. Bianca vai continuando ao ataque e acerta com um Vertical Suplex. Io levanta-se rapidamente mas foge do ringue quando Bianca vai na sua direção. Bianca corre atrás de Io Shirai fora do ringue até voltar a entrar no ringue. Quando Bianca também entra no ringue Shirai acerta com um Low Dropkick que manda Bianca para fora do ringue. Bianca levanta-se rapidamente mas Io Shirai acerta com um Suicide Dive fora do ringue que manda Bianca contra a barreira. O arbitro começa a contagem mas Bianca levanta-se na contagem de 5.
Bianca volta ao ringue e acerta com um Spear em Io Shirai. Coloca-a no canto do ringue e tenta um Shoulder Tackle mas Shirai desvia-se a tempo e Bianca vai contra o canto. Bianca fica caída com a cabeça no canto e Shirai acerta com o Tiger Feint Kick, sobe até ao canto e acerta com o Moonsault mas Bianca volta a conseguir levantar-se desta vez na contagem de 8. Io Shirai não consegue acreditar e tenta atacar Bianca com a cadeira mas esta acerta com um Dropkick na cadeira que por sua vez acerta na cara de Io Shirai. Bianca acerta com a sua trança várias vezes nas costas de Io Shirai, sobe ao canto e acerta com o 450 Splash! Mas em vez de deixar o arbitro fazer a contagem Bianca levanta Io Shirai e vai com ela para fora do ringue. Bianca Belair prepara uma mesa e acerta com o KOD em Io Shirai partindo a mesa! As duas ficam caidas no chão e o arbitro começa a contagem.
Quando o arbitro vai no 6 aparece Tegan Nox, isto surpreende o público porque ninguém percebe o que que Tegan Nox está aqui a fazer. Nox começa a ajudar Bianca a levantar-se mas de repente dá-lhe uma cabeçada! Bianca fica de joelhos e Tegan Nox acerta com o Shiniest Wizard em Bianca Belair! De seguida Tegan Nox ajuda Io Shirai a levantar-se e deixa-a encostada ao ringue para ela se manter em pé. O arbitro começa a contagem para Bianca Belair mas esta vai-se levantado com bastante dificuldade. Tegan Nox não espera que Bianca se levanta e empurra Bianca contra os degraus do ringue e de seguida volta a acertar com o Shiniest Wizard desta vez contra os degraus! O arbitro volta a começar a contagem e desta vez chega mesmo aos 10.
Io Shirai vence este Last Woman Standing e vence também o Best of 7 Series com a ajuda de.. Tegan Nox. Io Shirai mantém o seu título e ainda é a NXT Womens Champion.

Não esperava a Tegan Nox, mas é uma boa maneira de tirar a Bianca da feud e mesmo assim protegê-la. E ainda bem que acabou já, em vez de se prolongar mais e começar a cansar. Só mudava a Tegan a ajudar a Io, deixava que ele se levantasse sozinha, é um pormenor mas fazia a campeã parecer mais forte.

Não sou particularmente fã da tag team deles. Acho que são só um comedy act e prefiro o Breeze sozinho. Mas não significa que a tag tenha deixado de existir. Simplesmente o Breeze quer-se mostrar e mostrar o seu talento.

Também pensei nisso mas ao mesmo tempo "enfraquecia" um bocado a Bianca que a Io se tivesse levantado sozinha daquela ofensiva toda. Especialmente um KOD através duma mesa.

Cole – Welcome to Friday Night SmackDown, live on FOX, the first time in years SmackDown has come to the State of Idaho, I’m joined by Paige here tonight, in the backdrop of an historical night last Saturday, the first All-Women SmackDown pay-per-view. Paige you played a role on that show, what’s your take on what went down?

Paige – Michael, it was alright, some people that shouldn’t have won, did, and that spoiled the night a bit. But hey, let’s move on and see, where oh where women’s wrestling will land here on SmackDown when the dust settles.

M. Cole – To your point, Paige, we have two women’s division matches. New number 1 contenders for the WWE Tag team Championships, Duke and Shafir, will go toe-to-toe against the SmackDivas, as Marina Shafir and Maryse were, to a lot of folks online surprise, the last ones standing on that match last Saturday, and wanted to challenge the number 1 contenders to prove their better, in order to see if GM Kurt Angle is willing to nominate them in their stead.

Paige – Oh please, who the hell cares about those two teams?....

M. Cole – Well, it’s crucial to the female tag team division. But anyway, still in the women’s division, we start the show with a match between Candice LeRae, Carmella and Raquel Gonzalez. Next week their respective partners will clash. It’s happening next, right after this message Beth Phoenix recorder earlier today:

B. Phoenix – At STOMPING GROUNDS I had the chance to battle for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. I failed to win it, and as such I revert back to my retirement status, and to on-the-mic duty here at WWE, whenever needed, right after I take some time off to nurse my own physical wounds after that gruesome match, and also to focus on helping my husband recover from his own.

Candice LeRae vs Carmella vs Raquel Gonzalez

In the first few moments of the match, Raquel puts her superior size and strength to good use and dominates the match. She performs a Discus Lariat that sends Candice to the outside, then performs the One Arm Slam on Carmella, cover, 1, 2, Candice interrupts the count. Dakota on the outside is furious at that interference and confronts Candice, Deonna defends her partner and hits Kai with a Cutter, right off the apron. Dana also gets involved in the brawl. And Candice performs a Suicide Dive over the superstars outside. The referee has zero tolerance for this unruliness and kicks the three valets out of the stage.

Candice and Carmella forge a temporary pact to overcome Raquel. The Staten Island Princess connects with a Wheelbarrow snapmare, then a reverse DDT. As for Candice, she connects with a Missile Dropkick and a LeRae Wild Ride. Battered, Gonzalez rolls off the ring and lays on the floor. Carmella, from behind pulls Candice’s hair and performs with a Sit Out Rear Mat Slam, then a Mella Buster, cover, 1, 2, Candice kicks out. She’s lived. She connects with the Violence Party and a Tilt-a-whirl DDT. She then applies the Garga-No Escape. With no other option, Mella taps out. Candice picks up the win.

M. Cole – And we now go live to the parking lot Jeff Hardy, Elias, Heath Slater and Tony Nese usually gather as they have a message for us:

Camera cuts to that location where we get to see Elias, Slater, Tony Nese and Jeff Hardy in that very parking lot but this time that have a sort of cleaning services van on the background and they are setting cleaning tools inside the van and Jeff closes the door to start talking:

Hardy – Hi, we’re just about done cleaning up here and are all but ready to come back to SmackDown to start cleaning things up ther…

Suddenly,

It’s the Commonwealth of Nations now, bolstered by the addition of 24/7 Champion Vin Quade. The six invading men round up the four that were already in the parking lot.

Barrett – Well, Well, well… What have we got here? When we asked around in the SmackDown production staff “Where do those cleaning crew pillocks assemble?” I honestly didn’t think it would be so good, and yet so bloody sad to find you lot.

Elias – What do you want? Do you me wo wax your crown, oh highness? I have a used rag here somewhere.

Roode – Be quiet! Thou shalt not address his Majesty directly, without previous permission.

Maverick – It’s a most grievous offense! In fact, Count Gallagher, I reckon it’s an offense that is worthy of a swift punishment.

That was the queue needed by the Commonwealth of Nations to begin the gang up upon the 4 men. Elias and Nese at first are able to fend off Duke Maverick and Count Gallagher, but Slater and Hardy fall prey to Roode and Quade’s advances. Then Corbin hits Elias with his scepter, repeatedly, bringing him to his knees. Maverick then hits with a Bulldog, right on the concrete floor. Nese is still standing and beating Gallagher up, but then Lord Barrett throws the Royal Mantle over Nese and blocking his movements and then the rest of the Commonwealth gang up on him. By the end of the beat down the Commonwealth of Nations stand triumphant. Then Corbin consults with Barrett and afterwards they address Vin Quade:

Barrett – Vin Quade, our Australian fellow, you have proven your metal in the battle and as such you are henceforth officially inducted into the Commonwealth of Nations. Take a knee (he does do. Corbin grabs his sword to Knight him)

King Corbin – Arise now, Sir Vin Quade, from now on you shall be known as Esquire Quade!

M. Cole – Well… I guess we have a new Nobleman here on SmackDown, Paige, you’re a Brit, what’s your take on this whole “Commonwealth of Nations” thing?

Paige – Thing??? Cole, do show some respect when you’re talking about his Majesty, King Corbin the First and his Royal Council. And they’re here to restore some order, culture and good taste here on SmackDown. And I guess that puts you on the crosshairs. You’re not exactly an example of culture and good taste.

M. Cole – Huh..Ok…Let’s move on. We now have a match that’ll determine the future of the Tag team Championships. Miz and Morrison are claiming a shot at the gold, and GM Kurt Angle, valuing this new faction-building mentality prevalent here on SmackDown lately, has booked stable-mates Ziggler and Titus to have a match against Champions the Irresistible Ruthless Siblings.

Paige – If they last the whole 20 minutes allotted to this match, Miz and Morrison will battle for the tag team straps at Unforgiven.

I.R.S. vs Ziggler & Titus the Titan

The match starts and the referee orders the clock to begin to run out. Bo and Titus start this one. Titus delivers a couple of well-hit clotheslines to Bo Mulligan. He regroups with his sibling who gives in some advice. Titus picks up speed, runs across the length of the ring for a body Avalanche, but Bray moves Bo out of the way and hits Titus with a forearm smash. Bray tags himself in and delivers a Spinebuster, then a Splash. Cover, 1, 2, Titus kicks out. Bray Wyatt connects with a Uranage. He then grabs Titus and kisses his forehead. We all know what’s coming, so does Ziggler who invades the ring and with Bray with a neckbreaker. He then kicks Bray around, the referee threatens with a disqualification, so Ziggler gets off the ring and takes Titus with him.

Ziggler, then, very ring savvy, tags himself in but abides his time. He claims Titus isn’t feeling well and doesn’t enter the ring, stays by his partner’s side. In all he manages to waste almost two minutes. The clock is now at 8.55 and counting down. He eventually gets in but gets out right away.  Bo and Bray chase in around the ring, the referee begins a countout, but Ziggler, very resourceful manages to enter the ring at the count of 8, gets off from the other side immediately. He runs around some more, another countout begins, he goes in the stands, at the count of 8 again he enters the ring, and gets out on the other side, but Bray intercepts him, grabs him by the throat and delivers a back suplex on the apron.

Bo tags himself in, only 1.57 to go, but this should be all done, he connects with a rope-hung swinging neckbreaker, then a Bo Dog, cover 1, 2, Dolph kicks out. Titus enters the ring brawls with Bo and gets his partner to his corner. Bray invades the ring as well he brawls with Titus. The referee is threatening with a disqualification, so Titus Clotheslines himself and Bray Wyatt off the ring. Bo grabs Ziggler, he’s looking to finish this, goes for the Back Suplex, but Dolph lands on his feet and immediately connects with the ZigZag. But he’s too spent to cover. The Clock is running out, 10, 9, 8, 7, Dolph and Bo in the ring are motionless, Bray is trying to get into the ring, but Titus hits him with a well timed low blow, that the referee wasn’t able to see, 4, 3, 2, 1. Time’s up. Ziggler and Titus resisted the 20 minutes stipulated for the match and the I.R.S. will have to defend their titles against Miz and Morrison at Unforgiven.

M. Cole – Wow, so we have new tag team title contenders, Paige, four weeks from now.

Paige – That’s on the men side of things, on the Women’s side, the most relevant side of modern-day wrestling, we’ve had new contenders ever since on Saturday, Jessamyne and Marina have managed to win that tables match.

M. Cole – Rightly so, Paige, and the last team to be eliminated was the SmackDivas, and they requested a match to prove themselves better than the official number one contenders, to try and push the narrative that they should be it.

Paige – Well if they win… maybe GM Kurt Angle might award them just that, you’ll never know, with our GM…

SmackDivas vs Jessamyne Duke & Marina Shafir

Lana and Jessamyne Duke start the match, with Lana getting the upper hand with a couple Roundhouse kicks and a Neckbreaker. She covers, Duke kicks out at 1. Jessamyne then begins to apply a series of holds, she performs a crossface, and then a Ground Butterfly lock. Lana is close to tapping out, but Maryse breaks the hold.

Maryse and Marina are legal now, the two last women standing last Saturday at STOMPING GROUNDS. They trade some insults, then some chops, then Marina performs an Atomic Drop and an Alabama Slam, she applies a the Aquilles Lock. Lana goes to interfere, but is stopped by Jessamyne who restrains her with a Octopus. Maryse ends up tapping out.

M. Cole – And Jessamyne & Marina, the Number one contenders, win this one with ease and further  consolidate their position in the tag division.

Paige – I guess they’re ok, after all. A tad limited, but I see something of a promise in them. Maybe they’ll just capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

M. Cole - Speaking of which, here come the new champs, Liv Morgan and Lacey Evans, let’s hear them out.

Lacey and Liv enter, to a huge pop by the crowd. They acknowledge their progress and their efforts in overcoming two established stars, who weren’t, the crowd feels, the most respectful champions. However, Liv is limping and she has bandages around her midsection.

Lacey – At STOMPING GROUNDS y’all’s favorite blondes in the WWE proved they are indeed a Force to be Reckoned with, and we became YOURRR NEW WWE WOMEN’S TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! (More pop by the crowd). However, all that may be coming to an end (a huge gasp can be witnessed in the crowd). Liv, darling, care to explain to these fine folks here in Boise, Idaho?

Liv (is visibly emotional) – Let’s not be around the bush. I have broken three ribs in the match, courtesy of Kairi Sane’s Insane Elbow I took to protect my partner. And Lacey, I would do it all over again, you’re my girl. But, with this injury the Brass is pressuring me to abdicate the titles. They say I can’t defend it. (the crowd is booing the situation).

M. Cole – Oh wow, Paige, looks like the LLC’s reign is going to be a short one!

Lacey – That pressure comes from the very top of the corporate ladder. But Liv, darling, tell the fine folks here what you told the Higher Ups in WWE’s board. Huh…don’t use the actual words you used, honey, there are children in the stands

Liv – I told them they could go… well…I told them “HELL NO!” (Cheers erupt from the crowd). I worked far too much for far too long to achieve my dream of being a champion in the WWE to just give it up a couple of days later. They say it’s my health that’s at stake, well guess what? I’d rather die than to lose this belt, so I’m not giving up nothing while I still draw breath.

Lacey – The pressure has come from the very top of WWE. But, surprisingly, but I think we found an unusual ally. GM Kurt Angle himself. That’s right, don’t boo him. He conveyed to us that he was proud of our win and he said that he could shield us from the top Brass, on a couple of conditions.

Liv – Number one, I would have to continue defending the championships. Done. Number two, I had to pass a physical exam to attest to my condition to wrestle, OR…if I couldn’t pass that exam, I had to sign a waiver, withholding WWE from any responsibility as what regards my health and wellbeing. Well… this is said waiver, this is a pen and now (she signs it) you’re all my witnesses of my commitment to this title!

Lacey – So to make it crystal clear to any tag teams out there, we’re still YOUR WWE WOMEN’S TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! And as long as Liv can stand, we will be, despite her injury. (A loud pop sprouts as the segment end)

M. Cole – And we’re back, and I’m told Jordynne Grace is coming to the ring to say a few words

Paige – …Who?

M. Cole – Jordynne Grace, she debuted last Saturday on the 6-women ladder match, and I understand she’s a hot prospect in the eyes of many here at the WWE. She’s a former champion, elsewhere.

Jordynne Grace enters, she looks pissed.

Jordynne – Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Jordynne Grace, and for those of you who might not know me, I suggest you google me, google my past, my achievements, my in-ring prowess to see just why they call me “Thicc Momma Pump”.

(There are some mixed reactions from the crowd, some know her, some don’t, others that do know of her are taken aback by this snotty attitude)

Jordynne – Now when I signed for WWE I came to SmackDown because GM Kurt Angle showed a lot of faith in me, in my abilities, he told me I was the one to revamp the stale women’s division and he proposed I’d have a memorable debut at STOMPING GROUNDS. So for over a month I patiently lingered in the shadows, preparing, waiting for STOMPING GROUNDS to come, I made my entrance, I cause my impact, but then… it was all spoiled by another debut, one I had no knowledge it would happen, and because it is name that’s already familiar to the WWE audience, completely overshadowed the stellar debut I was promised. It was a lie and I’m pissed

(Tamina’s theme sounds, she enters)

Tamina – All that whining… What the hell do you want?

Jordynne – Well for right now, beating the crap out of you would suffice. Get a referee out here, let’s do this.

Tamina vs Jordynne Grace

The two strongwomen lockup, and Jordynne Grace is able to drive Tamina to the mat. She flexes her muscles. Tamina grabs her by the waist from behind, she goes for a German suplex, but Jordynne resists, and hits with a Backpack Stunner. She then hits with a Complete Shot, and finalizes with her spinebuster finisher, she calls Fall from Grace. Cover, 1, 2, 3. Jordynne Grace puts her money where her mouth was and delivers a very impressive win.

M. Cole – Jordynne certainly made an impact tonight. But right now, we have the future of a title to concern ourselves: the United States Championship. The Liturgy is going to try to help former Champion Murphy to gain a rematch, by beating current Champion Xavier Woods’ New Day.

Paige – That’s New-R Day, because R-Truth and Cedric Alexander enrolled in the New Day temporarily, to bolster that faction’s numbers for tonight.

The Messiah enters with all the smugness in the world and is followed by his four companions. Then R-Truth stands in for Big E in performing the New Day’s typical entrance words, but being RTruth… he kind of botches it:

Ohhhhh Boise, Iowa, Don’t you care about rush hour, clap for world contagious, 7 times scamps, and peel the SUNFLOWEEEEEER!

It’s a Newer Day yes it is!

US Champion Xavier Woods enters with RTruth and Cedric Alexander, in what conforms the new iteration of the New Day, the New-R Day, for the time being.

The Liturgy vs the New-R Day

It’s 5 on 3, so the Liturgy members spurred on by their leader, Seth Rollins perform a very intelligent match with quick and often tags to grind down the outnumbered opposition. First, Murphy and Axel dominate Xavier Woods with quick strikes. The US Champion hangs on, and even dominates Axel, but is runed down by Akam and Rezar in a ring invasion. Then Murphy is legal again and corners Woods with several chops and kicks and a Springboard DDT. He covers 1, 2, but Woods kicks out and fights his way to his corner tagging Cedric in.

For the second part of the match Akam and Rezar, in quick succession, take on Cedric Alexander and manage to ground the high flyer with high power maneuvers and slams. Alexander still hits Akam with a Somersault plancha, but Rezar tags himself in, overpowers him and connects with a Gorilla Press Slam. Rollins demands to be tagged in to perform the cover, but Rezar misses the mark, so when he does tags Rollins in, Cedric has time to get up, hit the Messiah with a standing dropkick and tags RTruth in.

Rollins and Truth lockup. RTruth is invigorated and wins the test of strength, then locks in Rollins head. The Messiah is in trouble. RTruth takes Rollins to the mat and is applying the crossface. Rollins is really in trouble. He might quit. His disciples see it and panic. Murphy barks orders at them to save their Messiah, so Akam, Rezar and Axel invade the ring, the referee, who is on the ground trying to see if Seth Rollins quits verbally, gets up really fast to try and stop this invasion, but is accidentally runed over by the trio. Seth Rollins taps in that very moment but with the referee out the submission flies unregistered. An all-out brawl ensues with every participant in the match involved. Logically the numbers come throught and the Liturgy get the upper hand. Then Rollins, realizing the referee is knocked out cold, says “Let’s take this opportunity to punish these faithless bastards”. They get chairs and tables from under the ring and go to town.

Suddenly, Michael Cole points out something is brewing at the back and the camera takes us there. It’s Kofi Kingston! He’s just arrived at the building and is still taped in the shoulders area, but is rushing to the ring. He stops by a WWE official, conferences for a second and proceeds forward.

M. Cole – Kofi Kingston is here! Will the complexion of this match change?

Paige – How? Kofi isn’t a legal participant. He can’t do squat.

Kofi (entering the stage with a mic and a referee) – Well that’s where you’re wrong Paigie-girl. See I am an official member of the New Day, and this match was scheduled to oppose the Liturgy and the New Day. Therefore, as Chioda here can convey, I am an official participant in the match, and, despite my injury, I’ve decided to come and help my brother Xavier out!

Medics take the injured referee to the back and the new referee takes charge. The unruliness that took over the match has to end, under pain of disqualification. But the damage has been done, because, Xavier and Cedric have been put through tables and Cedric has been hit with dozens of chairshots. The match sort of restarts, but the numbers advantage is still too great, so the domination by the Liturgy remains in effect.

But suddenly

Look in my eyes/what do you see/ Cult of Personality

CM Punk enters the stage and struts calmly down the aisle. Seth Rollins stops the action in the ring and demands the referee to do something to get Punk off the stage, or to disqualify the New-R Day. But the referee says he can’t do such thing, CM Punk has done nothing to advantage them. CM Punk grabs a mic.

CM Punk – Slow down, there “””Messiah”””. I’ve just came here to see the self-proclaimed “Best Wrestler in the World” compete, first hand. If indeed you are the best, I should expect to see “best in the world" things, right?

Seth loses his mind and orders his disciples to go after CM Punk; Murphy hesitates, He questions “How ’bout the match?” Seth doubles down on his order, so the 4 members of Liturgy go after CM Punk, who dispatches of Akam, Rezar and Axel with ease, then brawls with Murphy. Meanwhile in the ring, Kofi, who’s legal, hits Rollins with the Trouble in Paradise. He tags RTruth in who hits with the Lie Detector, cover, 1, 2, 3! RTruth has vanquished Seth Rollins and breaks down and cries, pointing to the heavens remembering Duquan. Seth Rollins is in shock. On the outside, a beaten Murphy is desperate. He has just lost his shit to regain his US title. The New-R Day celebrates on the ring, all battered. CM Punk applauds them for their effort and laughs at the Liturgy.

Não gostei da estipulação desse tag match. Acho que ninguém quer ver o Titus a lutar durante 20 minutos. E ter que aguentar X tempo contra uma equipa que nem é assim tão dominante para ganhar uma oportunidade para outros gajos... Meh. O Ziggler merece melhor, hei de lutar por ele e ainda dar lhe uma title run. 

Fora isso, o show foi porreiro. Michael Cole e Paige está bom, não tragas a Beth de volta. Deixa-a lá estar sossegadinha em casa com o Edge.

Acho que a separação da Raquel e da Dakota tá para breve. Por mais que precises de tag teams elas não passam duma que basicamente perde combates e assim "desperdiças" o talento da Dakota.

A Paige é a representante dos Common Wealth of Nations na mesa de comentários. Não acho muita piada as duas stables. Aliás, não acho muita piada ao facto de teres 293837 stables no roster.

Vencer a Tamina não é bem impressive.

aqui há umas semanas nem pensava nisso. Mas depois de uma conversa que tivermos apercebi-me que não as andava a bookar com hype oq não gosto delas juntas. Separadas, gosto das duas (quem não quer uma Raquel, 1.85, cabedal de impor respeito, ar de badass?).

olha que eu estes dias tenho me apercebido que me meti, de certo modo, numa armadilha, auto-imposta, claro, em ter enveredado por este caminho de "stablear" a divisão masculina toda. 

não tanto pelo facto de eu/vocês gostarem mais ou menos disso (tem um final planeado, masi adiante e que entendo que vale a pena o caminho, mais ou menos tortuoso) mas pq me limita e muito o booking. Por exemplo, nas feuds pelos titulos. 

Vou ser honesto. O Miz e o Morrison acabam a ir feudar pelos titulos de equipas pq o Cena e o Lashley estão a feudar pelo Universal Championship. Ou seja, não faria sentido envolver uma parte de uma stable numa feud com uma stable, e outra parte numa feud com outra stable totlamente diferente. Entalei-me. Fiquei com menos liberdade, mas agora tenho de seguir, isto há-de ter um blowout, mais cedo do que parece.

eu tinha avisado. eu como tomei a decisão de, como tenho mais ppvs, não colocar todos os ppvs em defesa em cada ppv (como por exemplo o KO te essa pressão por ter ppvs um pouco mais espaçados) e por isso, posso diluir as feuds por mais tempo. os shows podem ser mais traquilos, pq não tenho de construir uma feuda para cada titulo em quatro semanas.

Só acho que isso do aguentar X tempo não é muito adequado, até porque os IRS não são nenhuns monstros dominantes. E deste me na cabeça por os Street Profits e o Drew ganharem aos OC num tornado tag team no disqualification, mas agora o Dolph e o Titus que nunca devem ter lutado juntos aguentam 20 minutos contra os teus campeões? 

Foi diferente, ok, isso faz falta, só não achei piada à estipulação.

Isso já se adivinhava. Muitos grupos, e o teu roster não é assim tão extenso, mais cedo ou mais tarde não ias ter por onde te mexer em termos de opções de booking. Basicamente não consegues fazer tipo um Miz vs Jeff pelo US title porque andam todos com grupos atrás.

Eu agora metia o Truth a ir rezar a uma capela pelo Duquan, mas a enganar se é a entrar na FFH. Ao ver o Fiend pensava que era o diabo, e por isso o Duquan tinha ido para o inferno, era porque não era boa pessoa, e o Truth deixava de chorar por ele. 

E indo mais longe, um boneco do Duquan, que um dia iria desafiar o Ramblin Rabbit para coroar o primeiro FFH Champion.

Vemos Shane McMahon a chegar ao edifício no seu carro novo, sai do carro e agarra num paninho para limpar uma pequena mancha no imaculado novo carro. Shane pega no telemóvel, liga para alguém e diz: “Play my music” e segue para o ringue. 

Shane: I have something very important to address tonight. Let’s see the security footage of last week. 

Passa no ecrã um vídeo da semana passada, já no final do Raw, onde vemos vários wrestlers a abandonar o edifício, até que de repente….a câmera fica desligada. E só volta a ligar quando Shane volta ao carro e o encontra todo partido. 

Shane: Fear not, I am a cautious man, so I had insurance. Not only that, as you saw when I arrived, I already bought a brand new car, worth of 500000 dollars. 

O público vaia esta exibição de riqueza por parte de Shane. 

Shane: Don’t boo, I did it because I’m Shane MCMAHON, and so I can buy whatever I want. 

O público vaia ainda mais. 

Shane: But I would like to know, who was the coward that did that last week. Who are you? Why did you did that? Was Paul Wight that paid you? Why are you hiding, you coward? 

De repente no ecrã aparece Drew McIntyre, junto ao novo carro de Shane. 

Drew: Shane, Shane, Shane…. I’m not hiding. I did it, no one paid me. I did it because you screwed me, and I’m Drew McIntyre, so I can break your car anytime I want, in fact… 

A câmera afasta-se, e vemos que Drew tem um taco de basebol na mão. Drew simplesmente encolhe os ombros, levanta o taco e começa a partir o carro novo. Ele parte os vidros todos, arranca portas fora e basicamente deixa-o todo amassado. Drew olha para a câmera e diz “Don’t you ever screw me again” 

No ringue, Shane está super irritado, e sai disparado ao backstage. 

 

Vic Joseph: After this troubled start, let me welcome you all to Monday Night Raw. Tonight we are live from the Van Andel Arena, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  

Booker T: Tonight, every participant in the Elimination Chambers at No way Out will compete, as Becky Lynch, Naomi, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay will team up to take on Bayley, Nia Jax, Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan.  

Byron Saxton: And our main event will be one that we all expect to be a great match, Daniel Bryan vs Shinsuke Nakamura.  

 

Passamos aos balneários, onde vemos a Undisputed Era e Randy Orton. 

Roderick Strong: I didn’t forget about that RKO two weeks ago. 

Adam Cole: If you try to pull something like that again tonight, you’ll be in trouble, Randy. 

Fish e O’Reilly estão com ares ameaçadores para Orton. 

Orton: You don’t need to worry. Tonight, we’re on the same team, but at No Way Out, only one can win, so there you sure as hell can’t trust me. But like I said, only one can win, will you trust each other? 

Adam Cole e Roderick Strong ficam a olhar um para o outro, quando voltamos ao ringue para o primeiro combate da noite. 

 

Becky Lynch, Naomi, Peyton Royce & Billie Kay vs Bayley, Nia Jax, Ruby Riott & Sarah Logan

Há alguma confusão entre as equipas, já que de ambos os lados não se entendem sobre quem vai começar o combate, e acabam por ser Naomi e Bayley. O combate dura cerca de 15 minutos, e tem várias combinações dentro de ringue, com destaque para quando estiveram Becky e Bayley, o que captou bastante a atenção do público. Todas têm a sua quota parte de ofensiva, e o final chega quando estão em ringue Nia Jax e Billie Kay. Billie consegue acertar um roaring fist que derruba Nia, vai para o pin mas Sarah Logan entra em ringue para quebrar o pin, isto faz com que Peyton entre em ringue para confrontar Logan, e entram também todas as outras, gera-se uma grande confusão e acabam todas por sair do ringue à pancada, entretanto Billie levanta Nia, mas esta coloca-a nos ombros para o samoan drop, mas acaba por se desequilibrar um pouco e vai contra as cordas, Billie fica na apron e puxa Nia contra as cordas. Nia fica desorientada no ringue, Billie volta a entrar e neste momento Peyton sobe à apron e faz o tag. Billie vai pelas costas de Nia e ataca-lhe a perna, fazendo-a ajoelhar-se. Peyton vai apanhar balanço às cordas e acerta o knee strike em cheio na cara de Nia, 1,2...3 Peyton Royce consegue a vitória para a sua equipa. 

 

Acabado o combate, as derrotadas abandonam a zona, enquanto as vencedoras celebram. Entretanto ficam a olhar umas para as outras com alguma tensão no ar, já que daqui a duas semanas serão todas adversárias no No Way Out. Billie e Peyton abandonam o ringue primeiro enquanto Becky e Naomi lá continuam, mas quando já estão a chegar ao topo da rampa… 

Vic Joseph: WAIT WAIT WAIT… 

Aparecem de repente Ronda Rousey e Shayna Baszler que atropelam as IIconics. Ao verem isto, Becky e Naomi saem do ringue para irem viradas a Ronda e Shayna. Gera-se uma brawl na tampa, mas como Becky e Naomi já estão desgastadas devido ao combate, são Ronda e Shayna que acabam por levar a melhor, e espancam violentamente quatro das participantes no Elimination Chamber que vai ditar a próxima adversária de Ronda Rousey.

O WWE Champion vem até ao ringue.

AJ junta-se a Samoa Joe no ringue (vem sozinho).

AJ fica muito nervoso já aqui, e começa a falar de forma muito agressiva. 

AJ: Shut up, Joe! Like I was saying, you’re wrong again, between you and me, there is no doubt about who is the best, because it’s me, just like I showed over and over again, and at No  Way Out I will show it again, when I beat you, and take your title away from you. 

Theme do Drew McIntyre 

Drew junta-se a eles no ringue. 

Drew: I may have been screwed by Shane, but make no mistake about it, I’m coming for that title. So whenever it happens, I don’t care which one of you has the title, I will win it again, and this time in front of all of this people, and I will get to the top of the mountain once again. And for that, I don’t care if I have to go through you Joe, or you AJ, or even against your friends Gallows and Anderson at the same time. I will run over all of you, because my destiny has always been to be on the top, that’s what I worked for my entire life, AND THIS IS MY TIME! Not yours, no one wants to see you two fighting again at No Way Out, IT IS MY TIME! 

Samoa Joe: If it is your time... how come this title is on my shoulder? 

Samoa Joe e AJ Styles olham um para o outro, e decidem atacar Drew McIntyre. Drew resiste e tenta lutar, mas dois contra um não está a dar grandes hipóteses, e acabam por atirar Drew para fora do ringue. AJ segue-o, e Joe também vai para sair, mas de repente....

Byron Saxton: IT’S EDGE! EDGE IS BACK! 

Vic Joseph: Samoa Joe looks like he just saw a ghost, we had no idea if Edge would ever come back. 

Edge corre virado ao ringue sob uma enorme ovação por parte do público. Ele entra no ringue, esquiva-se de uma clothesline de Samoa Joe, vai às cordas... SPEAR. Ele continua ao ataque a desferir socos em Samoa Joe, e está com a adrenalina toda e o público a adorar. Mas vemos agora AJ Styles na apron, Edge levanta-se e AJ lança-se para o phenomenal forearm. Mas Edge consegue desviar-se, AJ dá uma cambalhota, e quando se levanta já está Drew no ringue, que vai virado a ele... CLAYMORE. Edge e Drew levam a melhor sobre os dois wrestlers que vão lutar pelo WWE title no No Way Out. 

Theme do Paul Wight 

Paul: I may not be doing this job for much longer, and not in the conditions that I want. But while I’m here I want to give the people what they want to see. Both of you deserve to fight for the WWE title, so next week it will be Edge and Drew McIntyre vs Samoa Joe and AJ Styles, and if you win, you’ll be added to the match at No Way Out, and it will be a Fatal-4-way match. 

A crowd rejubila com a marcação deste combate, enquanto que a câmera filma AJ e Samoa Joe no chão, nada satisfeitos com o que aconteceu. 

 

Passamos ao backstage onde vemos o General Manager a regressar, e é interpelado por Charly Caruso. 

Charly: Paul, you certainly made a popular decision right now, but do you think Shane will be ok with it? He has been very involved on everything that surrounds the WWE Championship. 

Paul: I’ll deal with Shane. If I’m still the General Manager, I still have the power to make matches. 

Charly: Speaking of that, last Saturday Paul Heyman claimed that Brock Lesnar is not retired, and informed the conditions to sign him back. Are you considering to make him an offer to sign him back and keep your job? 

Paul: They still don’t take my calls, but even if they did, I won’t just give Brock everything he wants. I have until the end of the month to sign him back, but it doens’t seem that will happen, so next week will be the last Raw under my management. 

 

Mike Bennett vs Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal tem os Singh Brothers no seu canto, enquanto que Mike Bennett tem Ali. O combate começa a um ritmo lento, com algum ascendente por parte de Jinder Mahal, que usa o seu físico para ganhar vantagem. Durante o combate vemos o glitch do famoso hacker. O combate dura cerca de 7 minutos, e com Jinder no controlo, consegue prender um guillotine choke, no meio do ringue, Mike não tem para onde ir. Parece que se está a deixar ir abaixo e que vai desistir, mas Ali berra com ele, para que não desista. Ali começa a bater no ringue, e a gritar para encorajar Mike, timidamente a crowd começa também a apoiá-lo, a dar-lhe força. E Mike começa a reagir, vai buscar forças para se começar a levantar, e forçar Jinder a largar a manobra. Mike consegue acertar alguns pontapés e aplica um DDT. Mike começa a sentir a energia e o apoio, levanta Jinder e acerta o miracle maker, Jinder não cai, Mike coloca-o nos seus ombros... divine intervention, 1,2...3 Mike Bennett consegue a vitória. 

 

Depois do combate, Mike pega num microfone. 

Mike: Maybe you don’t know this, but this is my first win on one on one matches in WWE in the last 12 months, and it is actually my first ever win on Monday Night Raw. And I owe it to one person, this man right here, Ali. He has been helping me to get my life and my career back on track. For those of you who don’t know, 7 years ago I dislocated my knee cap, and the pain was just too much, so the doctor prescribe me some drugs to help through the pain. That really helped, and a few months later, before I made a tour on Japan, I broke a rib. At that time of my life I really couldn’t skip work, I needed that money, I was going to participate in a tag team tournament and if I couldn’t compete, I would be costing my tag partner his money too, so that just couldn’t happen. So I went to the same doctor, and asked for something stronger, it helped, but then I had some down time to recover, and during that time, to help through the pain I would always go back to the same. I became a drug addict, and for three years I lived like that, in secret, not even my wife knew. Then 3 years ago I decided to get clean, and thanks to the support of Maria, I got to do it. But then... it all came back, after some time the drugs were back, now the alcohol was a factor too... but this time Maria is not around. When I hitted rock bottom, a friend appeared, Ali. And he is helping me to get clean again, and I promise you, Ali, and I promise to every single one of you, this time I will get clean for good, I will not go back to that dark place, I’ll never hit rock bottom ever again. 

 

Passamos ao escritório do General Manager, onde ele está e chega Shane. 

Shane: PAAAAUL, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? Drew McIntyre destroyed my car last week, destroyed my car tonight, and you reward his behaviour by giving him another chance to fight for the WWE title? That’s just ridiculous. He had his chance, and he blew it. 

Paul: No, he had his chance, and you screwed him. Both him and Edge will have this opportunity, because they deserve it, and I’m the General Manager, so it’s my decision. 

Há muita tensão entre os dois. 

Shane: Fine, they can have the match next week. But Drew said it himself, he’ll go trough Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson at the same time if he has to. So that’s it, instead of a 2 on 2 match, next week will be 2 on 4. If Drew and Edge want to go to No Way Out, they will really have to earn it. 

 

Voltamos ao ringue. 

Theme dos American Alpha 

Gable: Man, we are on fire.  

Jordan: That’s right, for the last two weeks we beated both Jimmy and Jey on singles matches. 

Gable: And at No Way Out, in my hometown, we will defeat them, and become the new WWE Raw Tag Team Champions. 

Theme dos Geniuses 

Ryder: WROOONG WROONG WRONG. You beated them on singles matches, so that doesn’t mean anything. It doesn’t mean that you have some kind of advantage for No Way Out.  

Hawkins: We don’t believe you can beat The Usos, and I bet you can’t beat us, right here, right now. 

Gable: I take that bet, let’s go. 

American Alpha vs The Geniuses

Gable e Hawkins começam o combate, que é basicamente de sentido único. Os Geniuses praticamente não conseguem ter qualquer tipo de ofensiva, e passado 5 minutos, após o grand amplitude, Gable faz o pin em Ryder para conseguir a vitória para os American Alpha. 

 

Depois do combate, os American Alpha festejam, até que... 

HERE COMES THE MONEY 

Shane McMahon aparece na rampa. 

Shane: Boys, as you can imagine I’m not in the best mood, but I don’t let that affect my business decisions. I always do what is best, so this is a hard decision that I had to make but I did it only considering what is best for Monday Night Raw. And I don’t think that the best for Monday Night Raw is to have the son of  the SmackDown General Manager as one half of the tag team champions. That same General Manager who up until recently had a legal dispute against this company, so because of that it doesn’t seem very wise to me to allow his son to succeed here. With that being said, American Alpha, I’m sorry but you won’t go to No Way Out. Instead, you’ll be replaced by another team who I consider that is more deserving of this opportunity. 

Neste momento os Good Brothers atacam os American Alpha pelas costas, derrubando-os. De seguida, aplicam o magic killer a ambos, e saem do ringue, apertando a mão a Shane McMahon e sorrindo para ele. 

 

Intervalo 

 

Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn & Rusev vs Adam Cole, Roderick Strong & Randy Orton 

vs

Aqui começam Rusev e Randy Orton, e os primeiros minutos do combate têm muita agressividade. Todos têm muita ofensiva, e tentativas de pin após manobras como a blue thunder bomb de Sami, o rope hung DDT de Orton, ou o Machka kick de Rusev, mas acabavam por se safar ou os pins por serem quebrados por outros membros. A certa altura, Owens consegue um pop-up powerbomb em Roderick Strong, mas antes de ir para o pin, Adam Cole puxa Strong para fora do ringue, e juntamente com Orton tentam recuperar e afinar a estratégia. Neste momento, por fora do ringue vem Rusev a correr como se fosse um comboio desgovernado, lança-se para um running crossbody mas Adam Cole empurra Strong para o lado e é Orton, que estava atrás deles, que acaba por levar com o impacto. Neste momento vemos que Owens faz o tag com Sami, e Owens corre virado às cordas e aplica um fantástico tope con hilo que derruba tanto Cole como Strong. Rusev agarra em Strong e atira-o para dentro do ringue, mas quando Sami se aproxima dele, Strong arranha-lhe os olhos sem que o árbitro veja. Strong tenta aproveitar, e acerta o jumping hign knee, 1,2... Sami safa-se. Strong não desarma e prende o Strong hold, Sami está no meio do ringue e não tem para para onde ir. Strong tem a manobra bem presa e aplica cada vez mais pressão, mas Sami, num último suspiro, consegue ter força suficiente nas pernas para obrigar Strong a soltar a manobra atirando-o contra a turnbuckle. Ficam ambos no chão, e neste momento Adam Cole volta à apron, e chama Strong para o tag, Strong rasteja na direção dele, enquanto que Sami rasteja para o seu canto onde estão Owens e Rusev. Sami consegue fazer o tag com Owens, mas assim que Strong está também para fazer o tag... Orton puxa o pé de Adam Cole e este bate com a cara na apron. Strong fica perplexo a olhar para o que aconteceu, e está sem reação, mas Owens aproveita, puxa Strong para si... stunner. 1,2...3 Owens a conseguir a vitória para a sua equipa. 

 

Terminado o combate, a equipa vencedora celebra, e Randy Orton vai abandonado o ringue, quando de repente sofre um superkick de Adam Cole no ringside. Adam parece querer mandar uma mensagem, sobe à barricade, e quando Orton se levanta, aplica o Panama sunrise no ringside, algo que recebe um grande pop. Adam Cole vinga-se assim da traição de Orton durante o combate. 

 

E passamos ao balneário onde vemos Cesaro, Sheamus, Nakamura e Kassius Ohno. 

Cesaro: Shinsuke, tonight is your chance to redeem yourself after what happened last week, don’t disappoint us. 

Eles saem do balneário e dirigem-se para o ringue. 

Daniel Bryan vs Shinsuke Nakamura 

vs

Nakamura vem para o ringue acompanhado por todo o grupo, enquanto que Daniel Bryan vem sozinho. Murros e pontapés disparados como canhões por Nakamura, Bryan a mostrar toda a sua técnica e inteligência em ringue... estes dois têm um excelente combate e dão um verdadeiro espectáculo de wrestling. Com cerca de 12 minutos Bryan consegue acertar os yes kicks, mas quando se prepara para o último é distraído por Ohno que sobe à apron, o que faz com que o árbitro o avise que não vai permitir mais que isso aconteça. Poucos minutos depois, Bryan consegue prender o yes lock, mas Sheamus empurra a corda inferior para que Nakamura lhe consiga chegar. Parecem estar decididos a não permitir que Nakamura perca este combate, mas o árbitro está para expulsá-los do ringside, mas neste momento aparece Drew Gulak na rampa a caminhar na direção do ringue, o que acaba também por o distrair, e entretanto Bryan e Nakamura já estão a trocar golpes, o que faz com que o árbitro se concentre neles e não expulse ninguém. Agora Bryan também tem apoio no seu canto, e acabam-se as interferências. O combate segue equilibrado, e Nakamura quase consegue a vitória após um jumping yakuza kick, mas Bryan safa-se. Nakamura depois afasta-se enquanto Bryan se levanta, vai para o kinshasa... mas Bryan consegue baixar-se, agarra em Nakamura pelas costas e aplica um running bulldog, e depois volta a aplicar os yes kicks, desta vez até ao fim. Bryan espera que Nakamura se levante, todos sabemos o que aí vem, Bryan corre para ele... mas Sheamus entra no ringue e surpreende-o com o brogue kick.  

O árbitro manda soar a campainha imediatamente e Nakamura é desqualificado. Sheamus desfere vários murros em Bryan, Gulak entra no ringue mas é travado por Cesaro e Ohno, que o atacam violentamente, e depois aplicam o KRS One. Voltam a virar-se para Bryan, Cesaro agarra nele, e com Ohno aplicam o helicopter crash. Não satisfeitos com isso, quando Nakamura recupera as forças, também ele aplica agora o kinshasa em Bryan. Levam-no para fora do ringue, onde limpam a mesa dos comentadores. Neste momento Gulak vai-se levantando a cambalear e vai na direção deles, mas Sheamus apercebe-se disto e acerta-lhe o brogue kick. Onho agarra em Bryan e coloca-o nos ombros de Cesaro, que aplica uma powerbomb que parte a mesa dos comentadores. 

O show termina com Cesaro, Sheamus, Ohno e Nakamura a posar vitoriosos, perante Bryan e Gulak que nem se mexem, principalmente Bryan que parece estar em péssimo estado, e está já a ser assistido pelos médicos.

Não acho muita piada que o AJ e o Joe se juntem para atacar o Drew 2min depois do Joe perguntar ao AJ pela Wendy. Mas percebo a intenção.
Agora não sei se vais fazer o 4 Way ou deixar 1x1. Diria que será o 4 Way para não ser heel x heel e porque assim podes trocar de campeão sem "enterrar" o Joe. Mas que se f*da, para mim é JOE for life! ❤️

Um Panama Sunrise no ringside era coisa para lesionar a serio o Orton com os problemas todos que ele já teve.
Não acho muita graça que ele faça equipa com a UE quando a UE tem 2 gajos que podiam perfeitamente lutar aqui. Eu percebo que seja por causa da EC mas não vejo o Orton assim em tag teams random principalmente depois do RKO e da conversa que tiveram no balneário. É só um tag match e ninguém tem nada a ganhar ali para serem equipa com pessoas de quem não gostam.

Curti do main event mas tinha sido mais bacano se o Nakamura ganhasse. Eu percebo que os heels fiquem por cima na mesma no segmento final mas também foi só por serem 4 contra 2. In ring, onde interessa, perdem.

Pois eles inicialmente estavam numa de se lixarem um ao outro, mas entretanto aparece o Drew e foi mais numa de "vamos livrar nos deste e depois entendemo nos". Se o Edge não aparecesse, o Joe e o AJ teriam acabado à pancada.

A promo é que acabou por não me sair bem como queria. Li toda a informação que encontrei sobre o caso dele, vi tudo o que encontrei dele a falar sobre o que passou, e queria escrever algo que puxasse mesmo pela empatia das pessoas.

Main event por desqualificação é um bocado meh, eu sei. Mas se o Nakamura perdesse outra vez era chato, e se ganhasse também já não tinha por onde continuar. Assim os heels saem por cima (4vs2 é certo, mas são heels, faz sentido. Agora parecia o Ilídio a falar) e ainda me permite esticar um pouco mais.

DB e  Nakamura? Finally. Confusão no final, tb aprovo.

 

As coisas que menos gostei, foi mesmo o combate das gajas ao inicio, não estava investido nisso; a vitoria do Bennett ser sobre o Jinder é um bocado "wow" e com ele a colocar o calmeirão indiano aos ombros? eh valente! Mas a força de Alá está com ele!

 

Ah e esse ultimo combate, storyline-wise fez sentido acabar assim, mas caramba, é um bocado um crime não deixar esses dois combaterem. Marca um rematch. mas desta vez um iron man match. Uma hora de Bryan e Nakamura, sem interferências. Isso sim1!!!

 

 

Edit.  ah e sei de fonte seguríssima que a esta altura o Kurt Angle já pegou no telemovel e ligou ao Brock a implorar-lhe que ele volte para o Raw, para o Shane ir embora e deixar o seu querido filho em paz! Mas low profile.

acho que amanhã vão comer outro boi inteiro e falarem outra vez sobre o assunto. Angle e Big Show = a mesma luta!

Um Panama Sunrise no ringside era coisa para lesionar a serio o Orton com os problemas todos que ele já teve.
Não acho muita graça que ele faça equipa com a UE quando a UE tem 2 gajos que podiam perfeitamente lutar aqui. Eu percebo que seja por causa da EC mas não vejo o Orton assim em tag teams random principalmente depois do RKO e da conversa que tiveram no balneário. É só um tag match e ninguém tem nada a ganhar ali para serem equipa com pessoas de quem não gostam.

mas o Orton acabou por te responder com o seu comportamento durante o combate. é estranho ele taggar assim random com os UE? ele concorda.

Não acho que tenha sido o melhor, talvez nem top 5 por acaso XD. Acabei por não ficar satisfeito com alguns dos segmentos. 

O Mike não se está a converter pah XD. E tem bem caparro para agarrar no Jinder. 

Sinceramente não estou assim tão investido no Nakamura, nisto que é só escrito é um bocado mais complicado de dar destaque a alguém que fala pouco inglês. Também não queria muito ter acabado em DQ, mas teve que ser, e para a semana haverá continuidade e fará mais sentido.

Mas referia-me a outra coisa. irl, não pagarias bom dinheiro para veres o DBryan e o Nakamura a combaterem uma hora? Eu sim. Independentemente de estares investido no Naka (e compreendo que é dificil pushar um gajo que não fala) esse combate seria sempre um must see. Iron man, Bryan x Nakamura

epá agora pensei uma série de short clips, filmados pelo próprio, do processo de conversao paulatina do Bennett. Tipo ele a ir a uma mesquita de Chicago com o Ali. Ele a comer uma refeição islâmica com ele, ele a ter o primeiro contacto com o Alcorão, por aí fora.

Irl Bryan vs Nakamura era obviamente must see, aqui é mais complicado, até porque a minha paciência para escrever combates detalhados é curta.

Sinceramente, acho que nem tenho conhecimento suficiente para fazer uma história de conversão religiosa que fizesse grande sentido. Nesse aspecto eu sou um bocado cético, portanto ia me ser complicado escrever algo nesse campo.

A camera corta rapidamente para o backstage onde vemos Tegan Nox e Io Shirai a atacarem Tessa Blanchard. Esta ainda tenta ripostar mas não consegue perante a desvantagem numérica. A certa altura Io Shirai ataca Tessa Blanchard com uma cadeira deixando-a estendida no chão. Shirai e Nox tentam montar uma mesa e pôr Tessa em cima dela mas aparece Mercedes Martinez para ajudar Tessa e Io e Tegan acabam por fugir.

Voltamos à zona do ringue com Mauro Ranallo e Nigel McGuiness mas toca a theme de Mercedes Martinez e esta vem a caminho do ringue.

Mercedes Martinez - Io Shirai, Tegan Nox! Come out here right now!

Io Shirai - What you want? Not your bussiness!

Combate praticamente todo dominado por Mercedes Martinez devido a sua força e também devido à sua experiência.
Eventualmente Mercedes consegue acertar com o Three Amigas mas quando tenta prender o Surfboard Dragon Sleeper Io Shirai sobe até ao apron distraindo Mercedes que larga Tegan Nox e vai confrontar Io Shirai. De repente aparece Tessa Blanchard que começa a atacar Io Shirai fora do ringue. Mercedes está distraida com o que se vai passando e Tegan Nox consegue acertar com o Poisonranna! Mercedes fica de joelhos no meio do ringue e Tegan Nox acerta com o Shiniest Wizard! 1 2 3! Tegan Nox consegue vencer Mercedes Martinez.

Assim que o combate acaba Tegan sai do ringue e ajuda Io a livrar-se de Tessa. As duas fogem depois para o backstage.

Lio Rush - Last week i had my title shot on the line against Tyler Breeze, one of the greats here on NXT and i won. Let's face it, Tyler might have been one of the greats but i am the greatest! Now i'm not doing that anymore, i'm not putting my title shot on the line again. I want my title match so, Isaiah, champ, Mr.Regal, i don't know who can make that match official but i'm not waiting any longer..

  

Pete Dunne - Shut up Lio, nobody cares about you or that stupid title. The grown ups arrived so you can leave now, we have things to talk about.
Lio Rush - Wow Pete calm down man. Tell you what, i'm not leaving this ring until i have my title shot.
Pete Dunne - Is that right? We are not leaving this ring until we have our title shot. So what do you want to do about it?

Now first, Lio Rush, you are indeed the number one contender for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. And Karrion Kross you are the new number one contender for Matt Riddle's North American Championship after your victory last week. Next week on a special edition of NXT Isaiah Swerve Scott will defend his Cruiserweight Title against you Lio. Pete Dunne - What about us Regal? Where's our title shot?

But you will have a chance in this next match. See i've booked a 4 Way Elimination Tag Team Match, the winners will challenge Andrade and Angel Garza for those Tag Team Titles. British Strong Style vs Time Splitters vs Breezango vs Lorcan and Burch
Alguma indecisão no inicio do combate já que não sendo este um Tornado Tag Team Match apenas duas equipas podem estar no ringue ao mesmo tempo. Tyler Breeze vai discutindo com Alex Shelley sobre quem começa o combate, Oney Lorcan tenta acalmar a situação mas Breeze acaba por o empurrar. Isto faz com que Danny Burch comece a atacar Tyler Breeze, Fandango e Kushida também se envolvem na luta enquanto Pete Dunne e Tyler Bate apenas observam desde fora do ringue.
Finalmente o combate começa com Breeze e Shelley. Shelley consegue empurrar Breeze até a um canto num teste de força e é Pete Dunne quem faz o tag com Tyler Breeze. Breeze parece não se importar muito mas antes de sair do ringue acerta com o Beauty Shot em Alex Shelley! Dunne entra e rapidamente atira Breeze contra Fandango e os dois caiem fora do ringue. Dunne levanta Shelley e acerta com o Bitter End! 1 2 3. Os Time Splitters são a primeira equipa a ser eliminada.
Danny Burch entra cheio de vontade no combate e acerta com uma Stiff Chop na cara de Pete Dunne e de seguida com um Big Boot. Tags frequentes entre Lorcan e Burch enquanto vão desgastando Pete Dunne com Uppercuts e Suplexes. Eventualmente Dunne tenta escapar da ofensiva de Lorcan e faz o tag com Tyler Breeze, mas assim que Breeze entra no ringue Fandango faz um blind tag que Lorcan não vê. Tyler Breeze acerta com o Super Model Kick em Lorcan e de seguida com um Dropkick em Danny Burch que o manda para o chão fora do ringue. Fandango, que é o legal man, sobe até ao canto e acerta com o Leg Drop! 1 2 3! Oney Lorcan e Danny Burch são eliminados, sobram apenas Breezango e os British Strong Style.
Pete Dunne está desgastado e vai recuperando fora do ringue portanto é Tyler Bate que vai assumir as despesas do combate até Trent Seven subir ao apron para distrair Fandango. Breeze é rápido a reagir e acerta com um soco em Trent Seven. Dentro do ringue Bate aproveita a distração e consegue acertar com um Brainbuster em Fandango. Neste momento Pete Dunne tenta entrar no ringue mas o arbitro impedi-o. Do outro lado do ringue Trent Seven ataca Tyler Breeze deixando Fandango sozinho. Tyler Bate aproveita que Fandango está caído para acertar com um Stading Shooting Star Press.
Breeze acaba por recuperar do ataque de Trent Seven e tenta voltar a entrar no ringue mas o arbitro volta a não deixar. Com o arbitro distraído Pete Dunne entra no ringue à socapa e acerta com o Bitter End! Tyler Bate acerta com o Tyler Driver 97' enquanto Pete Dunne acerta com um Forearm em Tyler Breeze. 1 2 3! Os British Strong Style são finalmente os number one contenders aos NXT Tag Team Titles!

 

Vamos até ao backstage onde vemos Tommaso Ciampa cabisbaixo a andar pelos corredores até que de repente aparece Velveteen Dream e começa a atacar Ciampa. O ataque dura alguns minutos até aparecerem vários árbitros para acalmar a situação.

  

Ainda no backstage vemos os Tag Team Champions Andrade e Angel Garza a conversarem com Zelina Vega.

Angel Garza - I'm happy that those british jerks won that match, now we can have our revenge!
Andrade - I am gonna end them!
Zelina Vega - Calm down, both of you. You guys need to be focused or they will take advantage of that. We are here to collect championships, not to lose the ones we already have. Let's talk strategy come on..

Passam por eles Chelsea Green e o seu manager Robert Stone.

De repente Andrade agarra Robert Stone pelos colarinhos e encosta-o à parede.

Zelina Vega - Andrade, let him go, i'll handle this. - Zelina dá uma chapada a Robert Stone -. I don't need no man to do nothing for me! And you, Chelsea Green, if you have any problem with me i'll see you in the ring right now.

O combate começa com Robert Stone a tentar incentivar Chelsea Green enquanto vai insultando Zelina Vega. Zelina responde a Robert Stone mas Chelsea Green consegue aplicar um Neckbreaker enquanto Zelina estava ocupada com Stone. Chelsea tenta o pinfall mas Zelina safa-se na contagem de 2.
Durante poucos minutos é Chelsea quem vai dominando mantendo Zelina no chão com várias submissões até Zelina fazer uso da sua agilidade para atacar com um Hurricanrrana. Zelina acerta com um Dropkick e coloca Chelsea sentada no ringue encostada ao canto para acertar de seguida com o Double Knees. Robert Stone vendo que Chelsea está em apuros sobe até ao apron e começa a discutir com Zelina Vega. Chelsea consegue levantar-se e tenta atacar Zelina que se desvia e Chelsea acaba por acertar em Robert Stone. Chelsea fica preocupada com o seu manager e Zelina aproveita para acertar com o Back Cracker. 1 2 3. Zelina Vega consegue vencer Chelsea Green com relativa facilidade.

Tommaso Ciampa - Velveteen Dream! You're going to pay for what you did. I'm a different man now, i don't care about titles, i don't care about accolades, i don't care about right or wrong. Tommaso Ciampa vs Velveteen Dream
Apesar da nova atitude de Ciampa é Velveteen Dream quem começa este combate bastante agressivo acertando com vários socos em Ciampa. Ciampa sai do ringue momentaneamente para recuperar enquanto sorri, parece estar contente com a agressividade de Velveteen Dream.
Dream no entanto não dá tempo a Ciampa para recuperar e vai atrás dele para fora do ringue. Velveteen empurra Ciampa contra o poste do ringue, depois contra os degraus e acerta um Low Dropkick contra os degraus em Ciampa. Dream mete Tommaso rapidamente dentro do ringue e tenta o pinfall mas Ciampa safa-se na contagem de 2. Depois de se safar Ciampa continua a rir, parece que encontra algum tipo de prazer na dor enquanto que Velveteen fica frustrado porque parece que a sua ofensiva não está a ter efeito em Ciampa.
Dream continua ao ataque e vai dominando o combate. Com Ciampa no chão Velveteen faz a sua melhor impression de Hulk Hogan e consegue acertar com 2 Leg Drops mas Ciampa volta a safar-se da tentativa de pinfall. Continua Velveteen ao ataque e desta vez consegue acertar com um Spin Buster, Ciampa vai-se levantando mas Dream acerta com o Famaseur. Dream sobe até ao canto e tenta o Purple Rain Maker mas Ciampa consegue levantar os joelhos a tempo! Ciampa levanta-se com toda a energia do mundo, parece um homem novo e acerta com vários socos e joelhadas em Dream até que este numa tentativa de ganhar tempo atira Ciampa para fora do ringue. Mas Ciampa consegue agarrar-se às cordas e fica apenas no apron. Dream tenta um Spear mas Ciampa consegue acertar com um Knee Strike que deixa Dream pendurado na corda do meio. Ciampa agarra no pescoço de Velveteen Dream e acerta com o Willow's Bell para fora do ringue!! Os dois têm uma queda feia e ficam visivelmente magoados depois disto mas passado alguns segundos Ciampa levanta-se com dificuldade mas a rir enquanto vê o estado de Velveteen Dream. Ciampa volta a entrar no ringue e senta-se no meio do ringue enquanto o arbitro vai contando até 10. Tommaso Ciampa vence Velveteen Dream por count out, mas mais importante que isso, será que voltaremos a ver Velveteen Dream tão cedo?

Keith Lee - Finn Balor! Where is Mia Yim?! I don't know what's your idea, if this is some kind of mind game, are you trying to to get ahead of me, is this so i can't focus on our match? I don't care! Bring my girl back Finn, i'm warning you. Once i put my hands on you i'm gonna break every single bone on your body!

As luzes da arena apagam-se e quando se voltam a acender Mia Yim está amarrada a um dos postes do ringue. Keith Lee corre rapidamente na sua direção para a tentar libertar mas Finn Balor ataca com a Sling Blade. Finn traz uma cadeira consigo e começa a atacar várias vezes Keith Lee com cadeiradas nas costas até este não se mexer mais. Finn coloca a cadeira sobre Keith Lee e sobe até ao canto onde Mia Yim esta amarrada a olhar diretamente para o seu namorado enquanto implora para Finn parar. Balor acerta com o Coupe de Grâce em cima da cadeira que estava por cima de Keith Lee.
As luzes voltam-se a apagar e quando regressam Mia Yim já não está amarrada ao poste, Finn Balor também não está no ringue, está apenas Keith Lee sozinho deitado no meio do ringue.

O Regal pode falar assim com quem ele quiser porque é o General Manager. E também me aproveitei do hate que existe entre o Regal e o Dunne desde que o Dunne apareceu no torneio para coroar o primeiro NXT UK Champion.

Tou indeciso se heide fazer já para a semana ou se heide esperar mais um pouco.

Porque repara, já vou ter Riddle x Kross pelo North American e Lio x Swerve pelo Cruiserweight. Tava também a pensar em fazer Tessa x Io. Mas depois acho que é muita coisa num só show e acaba por ficar "esquecido".
