O facto de estarmos a ser derrotados defensivamente pelo Darko Milicic, que já leva 10 pontos, diz muita coisa sobre a forma como estamos a defender. Haslem com 6 pontos e 7 ressaltos bastante bem nas tabelas, pena ser tão pouco inteligente com a bola na mão.

Bucks' Bogut leaves game after hurting elbow

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut left the game Saturday night after a hard fall to the court following a dunk.

 

 

 

Bogut lost grip of the rim after being barely touched from behind by Phoenix's Amar'e Stoudemire, who was assessed a flagrant 1 foul.

Bogut landed hard on his back and right elbow and writhed in pain under the basket with 4:28 left in the first half.

The dunk gave the Bucks a 46-32 lead at the time and gave Bogut 12 points.

Bogut was helped up but appeared to be holding the elbow more than the back.

Because Brandon Jennings shot the ensuing free throw, by rule Bogut would not have been allowed to return if he were able.

Nós vamos ganhando apesar da run que Minny fez há pouco. Já vão 38 do do costume [mais 7 ressaltos e 6 assistências], com 13 no 2º período e já 12 neste 4º, entre triplos, three-point plays, etc.

 

É a oitava consecutiva, e com a derrota previsível dos Suns passamos a ser a equipa da NBA em melhor forma recentemente.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut was hospitalized with multiple inuries after falling hard to the floor and awkwardly twisting his arm against the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.

 

According to Bucks general manager John Hammond, Bogut "sustained a dislocated right elbow, a sprained right wrist and a broken right hand. He was released from the hospital and no timetable has been determined for his return."

 

With the Bucks leading late in the second quarter, Bogut took a long outlet pass in for a fast break slam dunk. He hung on the rim afterward, was touched in the back by the Suns' Amare Stoudemire and crashed to the court. Bogut appeared to wrench his elbow on the way down, then hit his head.

 

A flagrant foul was called on Stoudemire, and he was booed loudly by Bucks fans, but television replays showed what appeared to be relatively light contact with Bogut.

 

Bogut appeared to be in serious pain, briefly writhing on the floor before being helped to his feet by the team's medical staff. Hunched over and clutching his arm, he ran down the tunnel toward the locker room.

 

Bogut, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2005 draft, is having a standout season for the resurgent Bucks, averaging a team-high 15.9 points and 10.3 rebounds.

 

Bogut has shown ability on both ends of the court since he entered the league, but nagging injuries have hindered his development. The Australian star played only 36 games last season because of a back injury.
