apparently the Lakers have signed UCLA center Dan Gadzuric

Sources: Competition Committee votes unanimously to return NBA Finals to 2-2-1-1-1 format. Owners' approval to come.

Finalmente.

Rondo: "Until you go through this type of injury -- a lot of people gave Derrick Rose a lot of heat... this injury isn’t easy."

:compinchas:

Detroit's Greg Monroe would also look to be in line for an extension, having established himself as one of the good young big men in the East. He was top 10 last season in double-doubles (37) and was one of the few bright spots for the Pistons the last two seasons. But league sources indicate an extension for Monroe is highly unlikely. The Pistons are not going to give him anywhere near the max, based on their current roster. Plus, Monroe's agent, David Falk, has little interest in signing an extension for less than that. While discussions are friendly, it's likely the two sides will revisit next summer -- if Monroe is still on the roster.

Have to chime in here....shaking my head too much as some of these posts.

Muscle tissue...think of it as a kleenex tissue....thin,light,soft,etc. Human beings cannot generate 20 lbs of muscle tissue in two months....atleast not naturally. Someone on growth hormone and anabolic steroids could possibly achieve this IF everything was in order and their frame allowed it (So a guy 6 foot, 200 lbs would be a good template). Were talking heavy, hypertrophy style lifting, a bodybuilding based diet, and of course, DRUGs. Then, 20 lbs in a few months of is muscle is possible. (Some of the top natural bodybuilders only put on 20-30 lbs of muscle in their entire 10-15 year career lol).

We need to realize what type of humans we are talking about and what statements are being given to us.

Basketball players (I guess will just consider pro players for this).....off season is a time to recover, relax, enjoy. So a large majority of guys will put on a few pounds just from enjoying their time off. Take into consideration that NBA players are all well above 6 feet fall, 5-10 lbs just from having a vacation from work, traveling and relaxing is not unusual.

So a few pounds are gonna come on just from activity level dropping a bit, then some from a changed "vacation diet"....and finally we have weight training.

I can go on forever about the weak connection between weightlifting and basketball players. I see footage all the time of players weightlifting....form looks horrible...choices look basic and general (barbell flat bench, bicep curls). When players are given and guided an correct program for their sport, youll see core and balance movements mixed in with some weight training (and if youre lucky, youll see some power based movements that actually carry over more than bicep curls and chest presses). As this activity rises from in-season play, muscles will naturally respond with some growth, hold more water, appear bigger.

Every end of the off season you read the same thing..guys putting on 10,15, 20 lbs of muscle when in actually the word that should be used is "bodyweight". Ive been apart of air chamber, water displacement, electric current, calliper body fat test. None are perfect and the numbers are truly irrelevant. Guy gets to the berto center 20 lbs heavier, some intern callipers their tricep and boom, no more loose skin that last time, AWESOME TAJ..You put on 20 lbs of muscle bro, youre swole!!!!

Alright Ill stop rambling for now...keys to remember are that

- NBA players are tall humans..10-20 lbs is less of a body change then that weight for a 5'10 human

- Players are rested and recovered in offseason, bodyweight gonna come on naturally, weights will add a bit more.

- 20 lbs of muscle cannot be added in a few short months naturally lol

Vai participar no "2013 World Carp Classic"

"I fish carp professionally back home, said Milicic. I go to the World Cups, European Championships. I have a team so thats what I enjoy the most. Ive got an RV here from the US. We travel, we fish for four to seven days straight."
