We haven't seen Lopez direct his anger at another player before, but it's good to see if you're a Nets' fan. You want this guy to get angry, fight and show this type of competitive spirit since he is your cornerstone player. Lopez didn't back down. He kept going at Brown, who picked up technical after Lopez drew a foul on him.

 

"I think he kind of amazingly scored a layup and then decided he wanted to talk to me and then he tried to guard me," Lopez said. "Apparently he can't do that. So what are you going to do?

 

"If there was a little more time left I would have hoped we would have kept going inside because I would have loved to take it to him more."

 

Lopez said "it just gave me the fire to go right at him." He had a dunk over Brown and scored seven points in the fourth on him.

 

"He was pretty happy with his traveling layup," Lopez said. "What can you do?"

At least one lottery-bound player wants to be drafted by the Nets: Louisville’s Earl Clark, a Rahway High grad. Or at least he did back in January when asked on his blog who he hoped would draft him. The 6′9″ combo forward answered, “I would like to be drafted by the Nets cause I know I would be a good addition to the team”. Clark’s agent, Dan Fegan, represents Yi Jianlian, Jarvis Hayes and Eduardo Najera.
