Belinelli Headed To The Nets?

 

Warriors guard Marco Belinelli is close to being traded to the Nets, according to a source close to Belinelli.

 

The source claimed that talks were on going between the Warriors and Nets, but that the guard was made aware that a deal could transpire soon.

 

Sources close to the Nets would not confirm the rumors.

Para mim, o negócio ideal seria Mo Ager + 2nd rounder pelo Belinelli. Estamos a falar de um jogador inadaptado à NBA, mas que é um atirador excepcional. A perder não ficaríamos, já que o Ager mal calça ...

O SWAT pouco ou nada vai jogar esta epoca. Pra posicao 4 temos Yi, Anderson e Najera, e pra 5 Lopez e Boone.

 

Tem potencial sim senhor, mas tapado dessa maneira nao ira evoluir nem a base de pancada.

 

O Belinelli tem uma media de 7 mpg em 30 jogos (nenhum como titular). Juntamente com o Yi, foi um rookie que prometeu muito gracas as exibicoes de verao, mas jogou pouco e nao correspondeu. Quem sabe a fazer uns 20 mpg nao consiga uma media consideravel de pontos e uma boa media de triplos.

Se conseguíssemos trocar antes o Harrington por um PG, gostava desta troca. O Bellineli não joga muito tempo, mas acho que tem bom potencial. O Don Nelson também tem fama de não dar muito tempo de jogo a rookies e isso não ajuda muito para ele se desenvolver. Vamos aguardar...

Carter Does It Again (and Again) in Toronto

 

 

The Nets won another instant classic in Toronto Friday night, and Vince Carter was once again (actually, twice again) the last second hero. Toronto scored 61 points in the first half and led by 18 early in the third when the Nets picked up the intensity. Devin Harris left the game early in the third with an upset stomach, but returned later in the period and led the charge as the Nets eventually tied the game midway through the fourth. They had two chances to take the lead, but couldn’t do it and the Raptors took back control with a 7-0 run. Then Carter came back to life to lead another Nets comeback and send the game to overtime with a contested three pointer with 0.5 seconds on the clock. Jarvis Hayes hit a three to tie the game again with 1:22 to go in OT and also picked up two big steals in the extra period, while Devin Harris hit a jumper to give the Nets the lead. An Anthony Parker three tied it again with 2.1 on the clock, but on the ensuing inbounds, Bobby Simmons throwing an alley-oop to Carter for a reverse dunk to win the game. Carter led the Nets with 39 points, nine boards and six assists, Harris added 30 points, and Hayes and Brook Lopez added 14 apiece. Chris Bosh led all scorers with 42 and Toronto outscored the Nets 32-16 at the foul line, but the Nets turned the ball over just seven times.
