Daqui por uma semana, este tópico comemora 5 anos. Por isso mesmo, o relançamento tem estado a ser preparado e já há duas semanas de shows preparadas (2 Raws/2 Superstars). O objectivo era ter as três semanas que antecedem o Armageddon antes do relançamento mas tenho sérias dúvidas que o consiga. De todos os modos, a ideia é postar um show por semana (Uma semana uma Raw, outra semana o Superstars). Queria ver se conseguia postar ininterruptamente até ao PPV, vamos ver o que daqui sai. A ver se até ao sexto aniversário chego à Mania. :mrgreen:

E arrancamos com o primeiro combate da noite e o primeiro qualifying match para a Elimination Chamber no Armageddon. O combate não foi muito longo, mas teve boa acção e o público fortemente do lado de Dean Ambrose, que trazia grande momentum da sua vitória sobre Mistico na noite anterior. Mesmo assim, a vitória sorriu ao Irlandês após este acertar o Irish Curse. (77)

 

 

Voltamos com Dean Ambrose desanimado a regressar aos balneários. Cruzando-se com… o General Manager, The Rock:

 

The Rock: Hey Champ, put a smile on your face, you lost tonight but you just won that Television Championship last night. There’s no reason to be like that.

 

Dean: You’re problably right Rocky, but I really needed this win. It could have been my golden ticket.

Passamos para o balneário propriamente dito, onde Homicide se prepara para o seu combate de qualificação para a Elimination Chamber. É neste momento que é abordado por Hernandez.

John Dalton ontem foi monstruoso na ajuda a The Rock, mas nem por isso foi beneficiado pelo novo General Manager. O britânico tinha aqui um combate complicado, mesmo que Homicide estivesse sozinho nesta noite. O combate foi mais longo que o anterior, mas terminou subitamente quando Dalton acertou um Superkick, seguido de um moonsault para a vitória. (78)

 

A imagem escurece e quando voltamos apenas vemos… lápides. A emissão passou para um… cemitério!? E apenas vemos James Mitchell…

 

James Mitchell: Welcome to our lair. The one place we feel at home. The one place where what matters is dealt with. Now, what matters to us? Some people don’t get the full picture and come to thick-witted conclusions out of habit. Power is not the thing that moves us, because we have all the power we need. Nigel McGuinness vs Davey Richards

Richards fez-se acompanhar, como de costume, por Tito Ortiz. O combate foi bom, mas o público não parecia muito para ali virado, talvez por ter sido particularmente técnico. Davey, que estava invicto até ao momento, tinha aqui talvez o seu maior desafio até ao momento na WWE. O ex-campeão Intercontinental parecia capaz de escapar-se de praticamente todas as manobras do “Martial Artist”. A coisa ficou particularmente má para Richards quando este tentou ir à corda para um missile dropkick, e acabou sofrer como resposta com um Jawbreaker Lariat. Pin…1…2… Onde foi o árbitro? Pois, Tito puxou-o para fora do ringue e assim salvou a streak do seu protegido. Nigel foi para fora do ringue, e empurrou Ortiz. Os dois encostaram cabeças, e o árbitro separou-os… mas Nigel disparou para cima de Ortiz, tendo ficado a espancá-lo até não poder mais… e a campainha soar. Vitória para Davey Richards por count-out, ficando agora o “Martial Artist” com um registo de 10-0. (57)

 

Passamos para os bastidores onde se encontra… Michael Cole:

 

Cole: Ladies and gentlemen, with me at this time, The Game, Triple H. Triple H, tonight you go one on one with King Carlito, who just last night lost to you and your teammates inside the WarGames Cage. Do you think that you have the psychological edge in this match because of that?

 

Triple H: Well, Cole, yesterday was yesterday. Yesterday, I didn’t the match by myself. All four members of my team played their part to perfection, and we won as a team. I owe those guys for their help. But tonight, is different. Tonight, it is just me and him.

 

Cole: Yes, tonight will be one on one, but don’t you think that the effects of last night’s match will be felt when you face-off tonight?

 

Triple H: I’m sure it will, but that’s not what I’m looking forward too. Tonight, I finaly get the chance to get my hands on the man who ran me over like a dog. Tonight, Carlito learns why they call me the cerebral assassin, and in the end, I will put him down like a stray dog. (81)

Chris Jericho vs Mike Mizanin

O combate foi razoável, mas não pareceu prender o público, mesmo com Y2J a puxar constantemente pelo mesmo. Mike fez-se acompanhar ao ringue do seu guarda-costas, Michael Elgin, que no entanto não interferiu tantas vezes como noutras ocasiões. O máximo que fez foi ajudar Mizanin a chegar às cordas, quando este se encontrou preso uma primeira vez no Walls of Jericho. Jericho foi depois para o Liansault, mas Elgin puxou a corda, provocando a queda de Y2J. Jericho ficou a reclamar com o árbitro e com Elgin e isso distraiu-o… Roll-up…1.2…3! Mike Mizanin roubou esta vitória com um dos truques mais antigos… (62)

 

Passamos para os bastidores, onde temos mais uma vez Michael Cole, desta vez à porta do balneário masculino com… Ken Kennedy:

 

Cole: Hey! Mister Kennedy! Have you learned about the challenge issued by Mordecai and James Mitchell…

 

Kennedy: Challenge? That’s no challenge. I just got served man! I have no choice but to face the facts… I’m a dead man… And not in a fancy way like the Undertaker… Oh by the way… Mordecai, come Armageddon YOU WILL REST…IN…PEACE!

 

Kennedy tentou imitar o mítico Undertaker com o “puxar os olhos atrás”, usando mesmo os dedos para abrir mais os olhos… não funcionou.

 

Kennedy: Dang it, Cole! You just made me look stupid!

 

Cole: Well…

 

Kennedy: Just forget it. What were we talking about? Oh yeah, the match with Mordecai… It seems like Mordecai and his mistress made a mistake, you see if there’s one thing I’m famous for is opening new holes! I open small holes… large holes… I love all holes! But even if they didn’t know that, which I find hard… it is virtually impossible that they haven’t heard people saying that for the past few years I’ve been burying people left and right. Every day when I log onto facebook there’s someone reminding me of that, so… Please… please… bring those shovels. (79)

 

???: Hey looser told you be careful.

 

O som vinha logo ali de trás, e o cameraman virou-se mesmo a tempo de podermos observar o que se passava. Edge tinha decidido provocar Chris Jericho que não se ficou e partiu para cima do Ultimate Oportunist. Os dois lutaram e quase que chocaram com Michael Cole e com o camera. Já Mr. Kennedy sentou-se no chão a gritar palavras de incentivo a Jericho… e a Edge. O confronto só parou quando Edge foi para um Spear a Jericho e acabaram os dois por ir contra a porta do balneário que se partiu ao meio. Os dois lutadores ficaram estendidos no chão, bastante mal tratados, sendo prontamente assistidos por um grupo de paramédicos. (78)

 

 

WWE Television Championship

vs.

Dean Ambrose © vs Mistico

O facto de ser repetição do combate da véspera e do campeão se encontrar claramente limitado por já ter combatido esta noite fizeram com que o público não mostrasse grande interesse pelo que estava a assistir. O combate nem foi muito longo, e terminou com o Midnight Special a ser contrariado com um roll-up (It is rollupmania!). Mistico vence de forma surpreendente e recupera o título de TV logo no dia seguinte a tê-lo perdido! (47)

 

Vemos um pequeno video de hype ao combate que veremos daqui a nada entre Randy Orton e Bobby Lashley. (73)

 

Voltamos aos bastidores onde vemos um Dean Ambrose extremamente desiludido. John Cena ainda o tentou abordar para lhe dar umas palavrinhas, mas Ambrose esticou a mão pedindo-lhe basicamente que o deixasse em paz. A camara continuou a segui-lo até que se vê o ex TV Champion a pegar numa cadeira ali próxima e a… atingir a sua própria cabeça algumas vezes com essa cadeira, deixando-o a sangrar. Ambrose atirou depois a cadeira contra a parede e seguiu até a camara o perder de vista. (76)

 

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

vs.

Bobby Lashley vs Randy Orton

Este foi o combate mais longo da noite, e foi extremamente animado. Lashley fez-se acompanhar de The Beast, mas este efetivamente apenas se limitou a apoiar o seu parceiro de equipa. A acção foi equilibrada, com nenhum dos dois a ter uma clara vantagem sobre o outro. O final veio com Orton a preparar o RKO, mas Lashley a atirá-lo às cordas e a levantar Randy para o Dominator. Orton conseguiu saltar-lhe dos ombros antes que fosse atingido com a manobra e respondeu quase instantaneamente com o RKO. O pin foi académico. Orton lutará pelo título na Elimination Chamber. (81)

 

Após o combate vemos John Cena com Mistico:

 

Cena: Congratulations on your big victory tonight, how does it feel getting you TV Championship back just 24 hours after you lost it?

 

Mistico: I…

 

TARUZ! Do nada vemos Dean Ambrose ainda com as roupas cobertas do seu próprio sangue e munido de uma cadeira igualmente ensanguentada e amachucada. Ambrose olhou enfurecidamente para o mascarado e acertou-lhe com mais uma cadeirada… e outra… e quando John Cena o tentou fazer parar, Ambrose ameaçou acertar-lhe também. Ambrose ainda acertou mais duas cadeiradas até se fartar.

Vemos um video a resumir um pouco tudo o que se tem passado entre Triple H e King Carlito, com principal destaque para o combate War Games da noite passada. (78)

 

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

Triple H vs King Carlito

Chegamos finalmente ao Main-Event de uma Raw carregada de acontecimentos. Este combate decide quem fica com a última vaga do Elimination Chamber no Armageddon daqui a menos de 3 semanas. Carlito fez-se acompanhar dos seus dois irmãos até ao ringue, mas estes acabaram por ser expulsos dali antes do final do combate. Primeiro foi Orlando que entre puxar os pés de Triple H, e depois decidiu puxar o árbitro para interromper a contagem após um Spinebuster. Um pouco mais tarde seguiu-se-lhe Eduardo que repetiu a gracinha do mano, mas desta vez após Triple H acertar com o Pedigree. E foi aqui que o inesperado aconteceu, alguém saltou do meio do público, com um capuz na cabeça e apanhando Triple H pelas costas acertou-lhe com um sledgehammer. Bastou depois colocar o braço de Carlito em cima do The Game, para que o árbitro, que nem se apercebeu de nada dado estar a expulsar Eddy Colon, contasse a vitória do King of the Ring. Fechamos assim o show com a imagem de um rei atordoado a festejar, e de CM Punk sentado na borda do ringue, bastante sério, após ter provocado a derrota de Triple H. (82)

Regressamos após um pequeno vídeo a lembrar o Armageddon no próximo mês, e estamos agora no balneário onde Triple H se está a preparar para o seu combate já a seguir. Triple H parecia estar completamente focado na sua preparação e nem se apercebeu logo da chegada de… Cody Rhodes.

 

Rhodes: Hunter? Hunter, I just wanted to give you a word…

 

Triple H: What’s it champ? I have a match, like, right now so I have no time to chit-chat…

 

Rhodes: I just wanted to give you some piece of advice regarding CM Punk…

Arrancamos em força com um combate pelo título internacional, a opor o campeão Claude a Galloway que se estreou recentemente com algum impacto. No final bastou uma Ricola Bomb para que Claude segurasse o seu título mais uma vez, na marca dos 11 minutos. (70)

 

 

Pequena promo com Claude a referir o ataque de que foi alvo no Survivor Series por Bobby Roode. Claude diz que se Roode pensa que a derrota que sofreu pelo título Internacional não foi suficiente, que lute com ele uma vez mais… ou melhor… três vezes. Na próxima semana, na Raw, que seja Claude vs Roode 2 out of 3 falls pelo título Internacional. (76)

Raw Rewind Time! Vemos um resumo do que se passou com Dean Ambrose na passada segunda-feira. Ambrose começou por lutar por um lugar na elimination chamber, mas perdeu… Foi obrigado a defender o seu TV Championship, mas perdeu para Mistico… pareceu ter enlouquecido um bocado… e atacou Mistico com uma cadeira. Temos aqui uma “estreia”. Nick Nemeth estreia-se finalmente na WWE após anos na OVW. Foi uma boa estreia para Nemeth que venceu na marca dos 9 minutos com o Blonde Ambition. (55)

 

 

Vemos Elijah Burke nos bastidores a equipar-se para logo mais, quando é interrompido pelo campeão intercontinental Kofi Kingston e Jay Lethal. Kofi e Lethal tentaram expor a possibilidade de Burke se juntar a eles, mas Burke recusou dar uma resposta definitiva, prometendo pensar no caso no futuro. (79)

Bom combate entre estas duas equipas, que durou quase 13 minutos e que acabou com um Spear de Lashley em Elijah Burke. (69)

Chris Jericho vs Joe Hennig

O combate não foi nada de especial, talvez porque Jericho ainda estava muito limitado pelo Spear que sofreu na Raw, mas ainda durou uns 13 minutos. Hennig mostrou que consegue dar trabalho a um campeão mundial, mas isto pareceu ter trazido ao de cima alguma frustração acumulada, de tal forma que mesmo depois do combate terminar, Jericho teve que ser forçado pelo árbitro a libertar o Walls of Jericho que lhe deu a vitória no combate. (62)

 

 

Jericho pegou num microfone e prometeu que se Edge os tiver no sítio para o defrontar, Jericho irá acabar com “isto” de uma vez por toda. (79)

Last week we learned that in one of his last acts as Raw’s General Manager, William Regal gave James Mitchell and Mordecai a blank cheque. Mitchell announced that Ken Kennedy had no choice but to face them in a Buried Alive match. Before their morbid match at Armageddon, Kennedy will have to face an old rival, in Edge. All six competitors involved in Armageddon’s Elimination Chamber match will have to join forces for a blockbuster six-men tag team match. Also, we’ll have Mr.Kennedy going one-on-one against Edge.

No combate participaram Johnny Jeter, Michael Elgin, Jimmy Rave, Arik Cannon, Sterling James Keenan, Joe Hennig, Jake Hager, Lance Cade, Drew Galloway, Heath Miller, Yang, Mike DiBiase, Chris Harris, Austin von Erich, Juan Guerrero, Kenny Omega, Shiima Xion, Nick Nemeth, RedruM e Sam Tatupu.

Os momentos iniciais foram de grande confusão, como seria de esperar quando temos 20 marmanjos num espaço limitado. Todos contra todos, sem que se note claramente que alguém seja o foco dos restantes neste início de combate. E de repente e quase em simultâneo tínhamos as nossas duas primeiras eliminações. De um lado, Lance Cade eliminava Yang e do outro Michael Elgin eliminava Sam Tatupu. Pouco depois eram Juan Guerrero e Arik Cannon a voar às mãos de Elgin. Com 4 eliminações tínhamos ainda 80% dos lutadores no ringue (I did the math). Do outro lado do ringue era Mike DiBiase a eliminar Shiima Xion, enquanto Heath Miller e Jake Hager uniam forças para eliminar RedruM. RedruM voltaria logo depois ao ringue para os eliminar ambos.

 

Ficavam assim Michael Elgin, Johnny Jeter, Jimmy Rave, Sterling James Keenan, Joe Hennig, Lance Cade, Drew Galloway, Mike DiBiase, Chris Harris, Austin Von Erich, Kenny Omega e Nick Nemeth. E James Keenan eliminado com um Superkick de Nick Nemeth! Seguiram-se por esta ordem: Michael Elgin eliminou Nick Nemeth, Joe Hennig elimina Kenny Omega, Lance Cade e Chris Harris eliminam Austin Von Erich E Drew Galloway, Mike DiBiase elimina Chris Harris. E com isto ficam apenas Michael Elgin, Johnny Jeter, Jimmy Rave, Joe Hennig, Lance Cade e Mike DiBiase… um destes irá defrontar Kofi Kingston que se encontra na mesa de comentadores cada vez mais nervoso.

 

E neste momento todos se uniram contra… Michael Elgin que se tinha mostrado particularmente dominador ao longo do combate. Um perfect plex de Joe Hennig, um superkick de Johnny Jeter e um dropkick de DiBiase atiraram o guarda-costas de Mike Mizanin pela corda superior. Lance Cade aproveitou a confusão e eliminou Johnny Jeter assim que este se levantou. Chegamos assim à nossa final four. Lance Cade e Mike DiBiase ficaram frente a frente, enquanto do outro lado eram Joe Hennig e Jimmy Rave.

 

Joe Hennig conseguiu eliminar Jimmy Rave com um dropkick e foi mesmo a tempo de ajudar DiBiase a eliminar Lance Cade. A final ainda durou uns 4 minutos. No final, Hennig foi para um para a corda superior, mas DiBiase escapou-se e foi para uma Clothesline provocando a eliminação… dos dois. Os árbitros foram incapazes de declarar um vencedor…(63)

 

 

IF YA SMELLLLLL… WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN’

 

Rock: Calm down, calm down, The Rock is here to make sense of all of this. The Rock is sorry that we couldn’t get a definite result tonight, but the truth is The Rock was impressed by what both competitors did in the ring, and was shown that the legacies of both the DiBiases and the Hennigs are alive and well through this new generation. Bom combate do início ao fim, que contou com o interesse do público. O combate começou equilibrado, mas com o cronómetro a aproximar-se dos 5 minutos Claude começou a ganhar controlo do combate. Claude foi para o Ricola Bomb, mas Roode contrariou com um Low Blow claríssimo! O árbitro não teve outra hipótese que não desqualificar o canadiano dando a primeira fall ao campeão. Roode não perdeu tempo e foi para o Payoff!

 

1…2…Nope! Claude chegou com a mão à corda e quebrou o pin. Roode puxou-lhe a mão e tentou novo pin mas apenas conseguiu o 2, novamente. Roode viria a dominar nos próximos 10 minutos até conseguir prender um crossface! Claude esteve prestes a desistir, quando chegou à corda. Roode continuou a trabalhar o braço, mas Claude conseguiu levantar-se e acertar rapidamente um swiss uppercut mas apenas conseguiu um. Claude tentou prender um sharpshooter mas Roode conseguiu evitá-lo com um pontapé… Roode levantou-se… Neutraliser!

 

1…2…3! Claude vence de forma clara por 2-0 e mantém-se o WWE International Champion! (75)

 

 

Cesaro levanta o título e festeja com o público após ter derrotado de forma inequívoca o antigo campeão que se encontra estendido no chão… (78)

 

 

E como em quase todas as celebrações deste tipo, alguém tinha que vir estragar a festa. São nada mais nada menos que os antigos campeões de tag team, Homicide e Hernandez que vieram do meio do público e destruíram completamente o extenuado Claude. Excelente combate de tag teams a demonstrar que a divisão está viva e recomenda-se. O domínio pertenceu como seria de esperar aos Silent Rage mas a maior experiência como equipa fez com que os Colons fossem um osso duro de roer. Mesmo assim, no final a vitória sorriu aos Silent Rage quando The Beast acertou o Number of the Beast em Eddie Colon para a vitória na marca dos 16 minutos! (80)

 

 

Vemos o WWE Champion Cody Rhodes a preparar-se para o seu combate já a seguir, quando é interpelado por… Sheamus, que será seu parceiro de equipa já a seguir no combate:

Cody Rhodes & John Dalton & Shamus O’Shaunessy vs King Carlito & Randy Orton & Mike Mizanin

John Dalton e Cody Rhodes começaram o combate procurando manter uma estratégia de tags sucessivos que os protegesse de alguma forma da desvantagem numérica, mas a coisa só funcionou até certo ponto. Orton conseguiu bloquear o tag de John Dalton e acertar um Scoop Powerslam. Orton fez o tag para Carlito que foi controlando a acção até perto dos 10 minutos, altura em que Dalton conseguiu fazer o hot tag para Cody que começou a arrear em Carlito que passou um mau bocado. Rhodes virou o combate e prendeu o Figure-Four…

 

Carlito arrastou-se a custo e conseguiu chegar ao seu canto e foi Randy Orton a entrar e a acertar um pontapé em Cody. Orton deu rapidamente tag para Mike Mizanin que prosseguiu com a ofensiva. Mizanin dominou o combate até que Rhodes contrariou o Mizard of Oz com um Russian Legsweep. Rhodes seguiu com um Crossbody, Knee Drop e começou a preparar-se para o Silver Spoon DDT, mas foi King Carlito quem acabou por sofrer a manobra após ter entrado no ringue para tentar causar uma distracção. Isso deu abertura para Miz tentar a sorte com um roll up!

Rhodes levantou-se e acertou o Silver Spoon DDT!

 

1! 2! Orton a quebrar o Pin. Rhodes levanta-se e Orton foi para o RKO, mas Rhodes empurra Orton para as cordas… Disaster Kick do campeão a Randy Orton! Miz levantou-se e… Mizard of Oz! Mas John Dalton é o legal man. Ele deu tag logo assim que Rhodes aterrou do Disaster Kick! Superkick!

 

Dalton foi à corda superior para o Moonsault… Que é isto!? É Sheamus O’Shaunnessy a descer a rampa a correr… e com Dalton na corda superior, Sheamus deu o tag… Irish Curse em Miz! 1! 2! 3!

Chegamos finalmente ao main-event após uma longa noite, aqui, em Cleveland, Ohio #CheapPops. O combate foi muito bom, cheio de near falls, e teve dois ref bumps, que fizeram antever interferência de Mordecai em particular, mas não aconteceu, mas ajudou Edge que deu uso a uma cadeira na segunda vez e com isso dominou o combate. O final veio aos 20 minutos com… música…

 

BREAK THE WALLS DOWN.

 

Edge virou-se para a rampa. E de lá veio Jericho a correr… e parou no final da rampa. Edge virou-se e lá estava Mr.Kennedy… Mic Check… Kenton Bomb…1…2…3! Ken Kennedy vence! (83)
