The details surrounding the release of Ken "Mr. Kennedy" Anderson from WWE are beginning to emerge.

Although on the surface his release may have come out of nowhere, the reality is that the departure was quietly building for some time.

Mr KennedyAs we reported earlier this week Kennedy injured his wrist while taking an RKO from Randy Orton in the main event on Monday's Raw... the same match that marked Kennedy's long awaited return to the WWE.

What was unclear at the time was the fact that Orton was working snug on Kennedy due to the fact that the returning wrestler had dropped him on his head while giving a suplex earlier in the match. Orton appeared to be selling the move by banging on the mat and shooting Kennedy a look across the ring

. However, the reality is that Orton was livid with the way he had just been treated and was infact pounding the mat in frustration.

In retaliation Orton worked stiff with Kennedy for the remainder of the match, including the RKO which hurt Kennedy's wrist. Orton's frustration likely carried over into the locker room. He likely got into the ear of WWE officials after the match and voiced his concerns about Kennedy.

But this wasn't the first sign of trouble for Kennedy within the WWE. A man who once was believed to be the future of the company, even from on high, Kennedy just never could seem to get it together.

In countless interviews Kennedy would put his foot in his mouth, even if unintentional.

Kennedy was very vocal about how great WWE's Talent Wellness Policy was in one particular interview in August of 2007. While he admitted to using steroids while working on the independent scene, he stated that the Wellness Policy got him to clean up his act and that he hadn't taken them since.

Just twelve days after that interview was published, an article in Sports Illustrated linked Kennedy, along with nine other WWE talents, to Orlando-based Signature Pharmacy. The pharmacy was raided by law enforcement agencies earlier that year for illegal distribution of steroids and other prescription drugs to clients.

According to documents obtained in the raid, Kennedy received shipments of Anastrozole, Somatropin and Testosterone between October 2006 and February 2007.

Kennedy claimed that they were for a torn latissimus dorsi muscle that he suffered in 2005.

In the weeks leading up to the Sports Illustrated article Kennedy was involved in a major storyline where he was to be revealed as the illegitimate son of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. However, those plans had to be scrapped when Kennedy was suspended for 30 days for violating the company's Wellness Policy.

This past August Kennedy dislocated his shoulder during a match against Shelton Benjamin at a WWE house show. The injury kept him sidelined until this past Monday on Raw.

While out of action Kennedy stated that the injury may in fact be a career ender. Some within the company felt that he was milking it for more than it was worth.

Also during this time Vince McMahon was said to have lost faith in Kennedy. The once supposed future main eventer for the company had fallen out of favor. Too many missed opportunities... too many blown chances.

All of which brought us current to last Monday's events. Similar incidents happen frequently in the wrestling industry while workers get a bit snug and start "throwing potatoes." That, in itself, is hardly a reason for dismissal. In Kennedy's case it was simply the straw the broke the camel's back.

And the oscar goes to...

Punk?

O taker tem mais carisma que ele. E nessa lista metia o Christian :prayer:

Pá, eu pus mais pelas promos, e o Kofi pela in-ring. Se fizesse in-ring, ai metia o Taker facilmente. E esqueci-me mesmo do CC
