E o jogo de basket hoje com o Lusitania?

Na 2ª parte toda da transmissão do jogo tinha um quardradinho em baixo a transmitir o jogo de futebol de juniores do Benfica :facepalm:

BENFICA TV TRANSMITE JÁ HOJE DOIS JOGOS

O Benfica comprou 82 jogos do Brasileirão, que passam a ser transmitidos de imediato no canal televisivo do clube. Este é um passo importante na estratégia de crescimento que os responsáveis pelo emblema da águia querem implementar nesta área e que pode, no futuro, passar pela transmissão dos jogos da equipa de futebol, realizados na Luz.

Já hoje, pelas 20 horas, a Benfica TV vai transmitir o Santos-Corinthians e às 22 e 30 será possível assistir ao Vasco-Flamengo. Para os dirigentes benfiquistas é importante a generalização da atual grelha num canal que está em crescimento. Depois de se ter lançado no mercado internacional com o exclusivo dos jogos da Grécia e dos EUA, a Benfica TV garante agora o Brasileirão.

Benfica TV, the in-house broadcast platform of the Portuguese top-tier soccer team, has signed a deal with Globo TV Sports for a package of Brazilian league soccer games.

 

Reports in the Portuguese press suggest that 82 live Brasileirão matches as well as highlights will be broadcast on the subscription channel this season.

 

The deal comes in the wake of the club's decision to broadcast all the home games of its B team, which plays in the second tier of Portuguese soccer, exclusively on its in-house platform.

The addition of Brazilian soccer suggests the club is building up Benfica TV as a viable exclusive platform for its own top-tier rights.

 

The club's current deal for its first team TV rights with Olivedesportos expires at the end of this season and the club is believed to be considering managing its own rights from the 2013/14 season.

(Reuters) - Portuguese football club Benfica - who plan to move the screening of league matches to their own Benfica TV - will be forced by the country's anti-trust authority to allow all national pay-TV operators to access the broadcasts, analysts say.

 

Benfica, which has the largest fanbase in Portugal, re-elected Luis Filipe Vieira as their president on Saturday after he pledged to move the broadcasting of league matches to the club's television channel to boost revenues.

 

The Lisbon club's move has made TV operators in the profitable business jittery given Benfica matches top television audiences in Portugal week in, week out.

 

In Portugal, around 70 percent of the broadcasting rights revenues estimated at around 75 million euros ($97.7 million) per season go to the so-called "big-three" football clubs - Benfica, Sporting and Porto.

 

As in neighbouring Spain, TV contracts in Portugal are negotiated on a club-by-club basis, unlike in the English Premier League and Italy's Seria A, where collective bargaining deals are struck.

 

Market analysts say the club's large viewing base means that, after matches move to Benfica TV, the club will not be able to negotiate TV rights with one pay-TV operator alone because it would violate fair-competition rules.

 

"We expect the anti-trust authority to step in and make sure the broadcasting of Benfica TV may be done by all pay-TV operators," analysts at BPI bank in Lisbon wrote in a research note on Tuesday, saying the regulator will force Benfica to give all five of Portugal's operators a fair chance to bid.

 

Many Portuguese football fans have expressed their unhappiness about there being no league matches on open channels this season, as they have to pay an expensive fee to watch them on specialised channels.

 

Benfica TV comes in cheaper cable TV packages offered by Portugal Telecom and Sonaecom, but the channel is not available in other operators.

 

Currently, one operator, Olivedesportos' PPTV, has the rights to all domestic professional football games and platforms. They are subsequently re-sold to Sport TV channel, jointly-owned by Olivedesportos entrepreneur Joaquim Oliveira and telecom company Zon.

 

In March, Benfica said no to a 111 million euros proposal from Olivedesportos for the broadcast of their home matches between 2013 and 2018.

 

Benfica and the anti-trust body were not available to comment.

Agora, em casa, podemos manipular esta m*rda toda. Desde em lances duvidosos escolher cameras cujo ângulo favoreça a decisão em prol do Benfica. Os comentadores nem é preciso dizer nada, as análises e os comentários são todos à volta da equipa e estes protegem a equipa a tudo o custo.

O lucro vem de vender transmissoes para outros paises e vender os resumos para os restantes canais.

E muito provalvelmente iria ser um sistema de pay per view , pagando qualquer coisa como 3 euros por jogo.
