Back Story

 

Era Abril de 2006, após a Wrestlemania 22, Vince McMahon tentou apimentar a WWE, sendo assim Vince com os direitos que detinha da ECW, decidiu criar uma 3rd brand (ECW). Esta Brand no inicio seria supostamente composta por Originais da ECW (RVD, Sandman, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer) e feita no Hammerstein Ballroom, lugar do ECW One Night Stand.

Contudo, essa ideia falhou completamente dado que os fãs não responderam bem ao produto. Os ratings foram baixos e esta ideia tinha "flopado" por completo. Então em Outubro de 2006, Vince decidiu acabar a ECW. Porém Vince tinha vendido os direitos a Heyman quando criou a 3rd Brand, assim Heyman detinha direitos sobre wrestlers, arenas...

Então Heyman rescindiu o contrato com a WWE, e re-criou a ECW, com os direitos que detinha. Com 27 lutadores, 2 non-wrestlers, 1 announcer, a ECW renasceu das cinzas, e vai voltar ao mercado. Como é que Heyman conseguiu tanto dinheiro? Ganhou a lotaria.

ECW anuncia novas contratações

A ECW no dia 1 de Abril de 2012, realizou as contratações de Bryan Danielson, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Colt Cabana, James Ewing (jobber), Kevin Steen, Tad (Jobber),e T.A.Darkstone (nome na ECW Robin Sparkles). Além disso a ECW garantiu os serviços de Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.

Joey Styles- Welcome to ECW! Tonight is the night where the land of extreme returns to Pro Wrestling. And tonight Tazz we've matches for the 3 titles, where the headline is the confrontation between RVD and Randy Orton for the ECW Championship.

 

Tazz- Damn sure about it Joey, i really hope that Rob Van Dam beats Randy Orton, Orton doesn't want to be any part of this company!

1st Segment

 

Numa promo simples o carismático manager Bobby Heenan apresentou o seu novo cliente Shelton Benjamin. Anunciou que Shelton assinou um contrato dum ano, sendo o objectivo principal levar Shelton ao topo da ECW "food chain".

 

 

 

ECW Tag Team Championship 4-way elimination (LK vs MNM vs KoW vs FBI)

Num combate bem agradável entre 4 grandes tag teams, os primeiros eliminados foram os FBI quando Nitro aplicou um Super Kick a Nunzio. Depois foram os KoW eliminados depois dum Snapshot dos MNM.

Contudo, a vitória foi parar a London & Kendrick após um 450 splash de London a Nitro.

Numa Battle Royal muito interessante todos os competidores mostraram sede de ouro, com grandes spots e manobras de grande risco. No fim a luta foi entre Matt Hardy e Shelton.

Shelton após um T-Bone Suplex deixou Matt Hardy em sérios problemas, contudo Shelton em vez de acabar com o combate decidiu criar heat, com isso Hardy apanhou Shelton pelos pés e conseguiu eliminar Shelton. Após o combate "The Brain" ficou irritado com a arrogância de Shelton, enquanto Matt festejava no ringue.

 

Tazz- Shelton was not smart at all, we had the match won, Bobby is right for complaning about Shelton.

 

Joey Styles- Despite of Shelton's arrogance, Matt deserved the win. Now, we will see a great tecnical wrestling match between Daniel Bryan and Regal

Num enorme combate de Wrestling, Daniel Bryan levou a melhor sobre o experiente William Regal, vencendo-o com um Cattle Mutilation. No fim Daniel Bryan festejou com o público a vitória.

Tazz-I Hope Van Dam teaches a lesson to Randy Orton. That arrogant son of the bitch who doesn't want to be here, deserves to get his ass kicked.

 

 

 

 

 

 

ECW Championship RVD vs Orton

 

O combate estava na marca dos 15 minutos, neste momento, Rob Van Dam estava claramente "kicking Orton ass". A partir daqui iremos comentar totalidade do combate até ao seu fim.

RVD está a dominar este combate, a dar uma lição ao Randy! Rob Van Dam sobe as cordas superiores, vai voar... e Orton faz o Dropkick em RVD, que grande manobra do "Legend Killer"! Neste momentos os dois estão no chão e o árbitro vai começar a contagem... E ambos levantam-se aos 8, Orton e RVD trocam lefts and rights, Orton lança RVD às cordas mas RVD reverte com um heel kick, que grande impacto!

RVD tem Orton no centro, vais às cordas e atinge Orton no abdómen com o Rolling Thunder. Orton está em sarilhos, RVD sobe às cordas. É tempo para o 5 star Frogsplash.

A ideia de meter o gajo arrogante que não gosta de onde está e se acha superior a tudo com o título é gold, dá para fazer muito heat à custa disso, já que o Orton é tudo o que a ECW não representa. Muito bem sacado.
