Nigel McGuiness - Mauro, i heard that our General Manager William Regal have an announcement for tonight regarding Summerslam!

 

William Regal - I have an announcement regarding the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. At Summerslam Jordan Devlin will defend his title in a Six Way Ladder Match and Raw and Smackdown will be involved as well. So, there will be two competitors from NXT, two from Raw and two from Smackdown. I will be talking with the Raw General Manager Paul Wight and with the Smackdown General Manager Kurt Angle and having them decide wich competitors will represent their brands.
NXT will have Jordan Devlin and the winner of this next Triple Threat Match. Thank you everyone.

Isaiah "Swerve" Scott vs Lio Rush vs Brian Kendrick
O combate começa com Swerve e Rush a acertarem com um Double Dropkick em Kendrick que o obriga a sair do ringue. Swerve e Rush ficam no ringue durante algum tempo até que Kendrick regressa ao ringue com uma Kendo Stick e começa a atacar ambos. Depois do ataque Kendrick tenta o pinfall primeiro em Swerve e depois em Lio Rush mas ambos se safam na contagem de 2. Kendrick envia Lio Rush para fora do ringue e fica no ringue dominando Swerve durante largos minutos enquanto Lio Rush recupera no exterior.
Kendrick consegue prender o Captain's Hook em Swerve que vai resistindo até que Lio Rush consegue quebrar a submissão quando acerta o Final Hour em Brian Kendrick! 1 2.. Isaiah "Swerve" Scott acerta com o House Call em Lio Rush enquanto este fazia o cover! 1 2 3!! Isaiah "Swerve" Scott vai ao Summerslam lutar pelo NXT Cruiserweight Title!

  

Vamos até ao backstage onde vemos Andrade e Angel Garza a discutirem.

Andrade - You stupid! Because ob you i lost last week and now we habe to fight those peros at Takeober!
Zelina Vega - Stop Andrade, this is not the way to s...

Andrade - But you didn't help, you only do bad things! It's your fault that..

Garza vai embora em direcção ao ringue.

Angel Garza - Kushida! I want a match with you right now! You were lucky when you beat me and i'm gonna show you i'm better than you!

Angel Garza vs Kushida
O inicio do combate é marcado pela urgência de Angel Garza em acabar com o combate o mais rapidamente possível mas Kushida consegue fugir aos ataques de Garza acabando por acertar com um Dropkick que obriga Garza a sair do ringue para se recompor. Neste momento vemos Garza fora do ringue à procura de Zelina Vega e Andrade mas estes não o acompanharam neste combate e Garza apenas vê Alex Shelley. Isto distrai Garza momentaneamente e Kushida acerta com um Somersault Plancha.
Kushida coloca Garza rapidamente no ringue, sobe até ao canto e acerta com Missile Dropkick. Garza levanta-se rapidamente e tenta uma Clothesline mas Kushida desvia-se e acerta com o Handspring Back Elbow! 1 2 Garza consegue safar-se mas até ao momento não conseguiu qualquer ofensiva perante Kushida.
Com Garza no chão Kushida tenta o Cross Armbreaker mas Garza consegue arranhar os olhos de Kushida e de seguida acerta com um Vertical Suplex. Garza tenta o Wing Clipper mas Kushida consegue reverter para um DDT. Kushida volta a subir ao canto e acerta com um Moonsault! Kushida prende o Hoverboard Lock e Garza eventualmente desiste. Kushida volta a vencer Angel Garza e já é a 3ª vitória consecutiva dos Time Splitters sobre os NXT Tag Team Champions.

Depois de Kushida e Shelley sairem de cena vemos Garza a abandonar o ringue e Andrade vem ao seu encontro no rampa. Andrade dá um abraço a Garza e diz-lhe "it's ok hermano, don't worry" e de seguida dá-lhe uma chapada na cara e vai-se embora. Zelina aparece e pergunta a Andrade porque é que ele fez aquilo. Andrade não responde e continua o seu caminho enquanto Zelina ajuda Garza a levantar-se.

 

Vamos até ao exterior da arena onde vemos Tessa Blanchard a chegar até que aparece Charlotte Flair.

Charlotte Flair - Well look who it is. The new star of the womens division, Tessa Blanchard.
Tessa Blanchard - What do you want Charlotte? Didn't i beat you last week?
Charlotte Flair - Yes you did. I just wanted to say congratulations. Beating The Queen is a big deal you know?
Tessa Blanchard - Thanks.. i guess. Now excuse me.

De repente Tessa é atacada por Rhea Ripley e Charlotte junta-se à festa. As duas atacam Tessa até ela ficar inconsciente no chão.

Io Shirai - Bianca Belair, you attack me with your hair? You are coward! I want title match now!

Mia Yim - Let me get this straight. You are the one who attacked her with a chair a couple weeks ago and now you're upset because she attacked you with her hair? Weren't you trying to attack her from behind?
Io Shirai - Who are you? You not Bianca, shut up.

Io Shirai vs Mia Yim
O combate começa com Mia Yim com vontade de provar algo a number one contender e consegue acertar com um Enzeguiri que leva Io até as cordas onde está fica a proteger-se de Mia Yim até o arbitro afastar Mia. Io tenta um Missile Dropkick mas Mia Yim desvia-se e acerta com um Low Dropkick na cabeça de Io Shirai que se safa na contagem de 2.  Mia Yim vai dominando o combate até Io Shirai a empurrar contra as cordas onde esta fica pendurada e Io acerta com o Tiger Feint Kick. Mia Yim está desorientada e Io Shirai acerta com um German Suplex mas Mia safa-se na contagem de 2. Com Mia no chão Io vai atacando com vários pontapés na cabeça de Mia Yim até que sobe ao canto provavelmente a pensar no seu Moonsault mas de repente..

Theme da Bianca Belair

Io Shirai sai imeditamente do canto, vira-se para a rampa como que desafiando Bianca Belair a ir para o ringue mas Bianca não aparece. Mia Yim acerta com um German Suplex e de seguida com o Protect Ya Neck! 1 2 3!! Mia Yim consegue vencer Io Shirai! Depois da distracção de Bianca Belair Io Shirai perdeu o foco e perde também este combate. O que que isto significa na preparação de Io Shirai para o combate contra Bianca Belair no TakeOver New York?

A camera corta para os comentadores Mauro Ranallo e Nigel McGuiness que vão ter uma entrevista via Skype com o NXT Champion Velveteen Dream.

Velveteen Dream - Yes Mauro, the Dream tweaked his knee during his preparation for his title match at TakeOver against Finn Balor and i need to be at 100% for New York.
Nigel McGuiness - Dream, excuse me, will you be able to compete at TakeOver with that injury?
Velveteen Dream - Of course Nigel, the Dream is recovering very well and i'll be at TakeOver to show Finn Balor who's the real prince of NXT..

De repente a transmissão começa a falhar. Fica apenas uma imagem parada onde se vê Velveteen Dream e por trás dele vê-se a cara de Finn Balor a olhar com um ar demoníaco para Velveteen Dream. Com a imagem parada apenas se ouvem os sons do que parece ser uma luta entre os dois e vários objetos a cairem. Quando a imagem volta aparece apenas Finn Balor que diz para a camera "he's here" e a transmissão acaba.

Dominik Dijakovic - Let me get this straight. So i have to wait for Keith Lee to lose his title match against Matt Riddle and only then i'll have my title match? That's bullshit! I'm the one that should be at TakeOver! I deserve that spot! Not Keith Lee just because he's friends with Matt Riddle, he don't deserve that spot, i won that match last week, i deserve that!

Keith Lee - Dominik Dominik Dominik, i don't understand what is your problem. It's because of you and your friends that you're not booked for TakeOver. What are you complaining about?

Dominik Dijakovic vs Keith Lee
Combate praticamente todo dominado por Keith Lee que faz uso da sua força para se superiorizar a Dijakovic que raramente consegue algum tipo de ofensiva. Apesar do domínio de Lee Dijakovic vai-se conseguido safar das tentativas de pinfall e vai-se mantendo vivo no combate. Keith Lee eventualmente acerta com chapadas no peito de Dijakovic e este vai contra o arbitro mandando este para fora do ringue onde fica durante alguns minutos.
Durante esse tempo Keith Lee consegue acertar com um Belly to Belly Suplex e de seguida com um Moonsault do canto mas quando tenta o cover não há arbitro para fazer a contagem. Keith Lee levanta Dijakovic e tenta a Spirit Bomb mas Dijakovic consegue contra atacar com vários socos na cabeça de Lee até este largar Dijakovic. Dijakovic aproveita e sem o arbitro no ringue acerta um Low Blow em Keith Lee. Dijakovic vê uma oportunidade e sobe ao canto acertando também com um Moonsault mas mais uma vez a tentativa de pinfall não surte efeito já que o arbitro continua inconsciente fora do ringue.
Dijakovic fica frustrado com isto e sai do ringue para tentar reanimar o arbitro mas sem efeito. Dijakovic agarra no arbitro e atira-o para dentro do ringue enquanto grita para ele acordar. Dijakovic vai até debaixo do ringue provavelmente à procura duma arma para poder usar em Keith Lee mas quando puxa algo debaixo do ringue quem sai de lá é Matt Riddle que apenas fica a rir-se na cara de Dijakovic. Este tenta um Big Boot mas Riddle consegue desviar-se e Dijakovic acerta nos degraus do ringue. Com a perna aleijada é Keith Lee que agarra em Dijakovic pelo pescoço e o põe de volta no ringue em posição para a Spirit Bomb! 1 2 3! Keith Lee consegue vencer Dominik Dijakovic e cimenta a sua posição no card do TakeOver New York. Dijakovic vai ter que espera para ter a sua oportunidade pelo North American Title.

No final do combate Matt Riddle levanta o braço de Keith Lee e os dois festejam no ringue até que as luzes da arena se apagam.
Quando as luzes voltam é Karrion Kross que está no ringue! Keith Lee tenta atacar Kross que está junto às cordas mas este consegue um Belly to Belly enviando Keith Lee para fora do ringue. Matt Riddle acerta com um Ripcord Knee em Karrion Kross mas este nem se mexe e acerta com um Saito Suplex em Matt Riddle que o manda contra o canto do ringue!
O segmento acaba com Karrion Kross a levantar o North American Title no meio do ringue.

Nunca pensei que a Mia ganhasse à Io. 

Acho que as coisas pelo North American title vão ficar mais interessantes depois do Takeover. Sinceramente não estou a gostar muito da construção do Riddle vs Keith Lee. Preferia que fosse Riddle vs Dunne, acho que tinha potencial para ter sido esticado até ao Takeover. E que é feito dele e dos Moustache Mountain? Acho que nunca mais apareceram depois do turn.

Falo do Demon ter efeito no Dream no sentido que de repente o Dream vai ter literalmente um demónio à frente dele. O Demon quando aparece no NXT deixava o pessoal intimidado pela entrada e porque ficavam todos tipo wtf did i just watch? No main roster é que f*deram isso. Mas era uma personagem quase imbatível que parecia que era 10x melhor que o Finn Balor normal, muito mais agressivo e sem piedade.

E essa divisão masculina tb está muito congestionada. Basta ver que no teu secondary championship tens Riddle, KL, Dijak e Carrião Cruz, tudo à molhada. E ainda falta priest e Grimes. Muita gente talentosa para um cadeira só.

eu, pessoalmente, estou a tratar como se fossem entidades separadas. Tipo com consciencia uma da outra, mas sem saberem que habita o mesmo corpo.

No main roster, em arenas grandes, com entradas no stage gigantes, o Demon a entrar é quase uma formiga, para gente que esteja lá no "3º anel". perde muito o impacto. E a luz mais bright do main roster tb não ajuda.

M. Cole – Speaking of tag titles, on the women’s side, Champs the Kabuki Warriors have declared pretty much every team as undeserving, so the so-called World Cup will start tonight with the LLC battling the SmackDivas in group B.

Suddenly the Siva Tau sounds throughout the arena, Vin Quade enters, he looks angry:

V. Quade – Turn the music off, please. Mojo! You twisted crab, I had the 24/7 title within my grasp, then you ruined my big moment. I demand compensation! I know you have no brains – the Fiend has seen to that – but if you have a couple of balls, you’d put the title on the line, right now! (Curtis Axel enters)

C. Axel – No! No!, This can’t be! I am the son of a legend, the grandson of a legend, I have multiple accolades in my resumé, yet I keep getting overlooked. Even this…rookie, hailing from God knows where, this football guy, comes here and gets title shots. But wait. He’s not from football, football, oh no. He comes from Australian rules football, whatever the hell that crap is.

V. Quade – On a second thought, Mojo, you mindless freak, I can get you next week. After I beat this bloke here first tonight. Right now!

Curtis Axel vs Vin Quade

Curtis Axel wants to get back on the right track and starts strong, with a couple of lariats, the two arm DDT, that greatly damages Quade’s right arm. He follows with an armdrag, then trasitions to a fujiwara armbar, but Quade escapes and brings his own moveset into the fray. He connects with forearm smash, then a scoop slam, followed by a belly to belly slam. He covers, 1, 2, Axel escapes. But not for long, as he gets up is hit with another scoop slam. Cover, 1, 2, 3. Quade picks up the win and asserts himself as the number one contender for the 24/7 Championship. Mojo must be taking notes. If he’s able to…

M. Cole – And we’re back, for the first match of the SmackDown presents: The Women’s Tag Team World Cup, brought to you by Skittles, taste the rainbow. And the fist match is for the Group B, Renee.

Renee – That’s right Cole, and it opposes the former number one contenders, the SmackDivas, and the team that has been most confronting of the current Champions, the LLC – Liv & Lacey Combine.

LLC – Liv & Lacey Combine vs SmackDivas

Lana and Liv Start the match, with Lana getting some heat by scratching Liv’s eyes, behind the ref’s back. Liv is then beaten in a double team by the Divas, they keep Liv away from her home corner, and perform quick tags. They almost win with this tactic, as Liv is unable to see well. Live however, escapes her predicament with a Thesz Press, then a Calf Kick. She tags Lacey in, who is all business, picks up Maryse performs a falling powerbomb, then an Atomic Drop, Maryse is buzzed, she gets up, Women’s Right. Cover, 1, 2, 3. The LLC has picked up the first win in this tournament.

Just as the match ends, Nikki Cross barges in, with Corey graves at her side.

Nikki – Wêt, don’t goe! I had enowgh! I interviewed ev’ry blounde on the raster, and I arreived at no cuncloosions! I’m fuming reight noew!

Corey – Nikki, I’ll take it from here. What Nikki is trying to say, is that we politely request that every blond in the women’s division here at SmackDown be present at the arena right now. In fact, we don’t need to ask politely, GM Kurt Angle is also very interested in the investigation and he has ordained me as Special Prosecutor with full powers to summon a trial, so with that authority I command you to report to the ring right now. Let’s go on a break, to revamp the ring.

M. Cole - And we’re back, while on the break, ring crew fitted the ring with plenty of chairs, Corey is in the middle as pressing over a courtroom, wouldn’t you say so Renee?

Renee – Yes, it appears so, Michael, I think it’s just ridiculous, all of it. I’m glad this is coming to an end, it seems.

Corey – Let the defendants enter:

Liv, Lacey, Lana and Maryse are already in the ring; Taynara then enters with her bodyguards, Ruas and Bononi; Carmella and Dana Brooke enter, then Candice does so, accompanied by Deonna. Corey bars Ruas, Bononi and Deonna from the ring side, they retreat to the back. Nikki is furious and wants to bash every “defendant’s” head. Corey calms her.

Corey – Nikki, you’re here as an Attorney representing Alexa Bliss, use your words, not your hands.

Nikki – Olreight. Bot wêt. We’re missing one. Dial Nattie’s nombar. She’ll join os via Skoype. (Corey does so, Nattie Hart is now an “online defendant”) Right, I nied the colpret to jost canfess! Jost canfess, and en all of thes. (As Nikki is losing patience, Corey takes the lead)

Corey – I’ll take over the session (they ask questions to the “defendants”. They all deny the accusations. They are all quite upset with being accused, they all provide alibis and they are marred by the repetition of the process, as they stress they’ve already been questioned and attacked by Nikki before. Suddenly..

Alexa Bliss’s theme comes up. She enters. Corey yells a “The Goddess is heeeeeere”, Nikki runs to her arms, hugs her, kisses her, and almost re-injures her in the affection.

Alexa – I have to address the court. I am the only one who can bring the truth.

Corey  (recovering from the shock of getting to talk to Alexa Bliss) – Oh please, Goddess, please address the court

Nikki – Settle doewn, Coery!

Corey – Right. Sorry. Please, Alexa, did you see who attacked you?

Alexa – Yes. (Nikki stands up, prepared to beat up the one who is pointed out by Alexa)

Corey – Can you point out the person who attacked you?

Alexa extends her arm, but not the fingers. She teases the pointing for a while, then finally point to…HERSELF. Everybody seems confused.

Alexa – It was me. I “attacked” (she does the air commas) myself. I feigned the whole thing.

Nikki – Elexa!? Bot why?

Alexa – Why, Nikki? Why? To get rid of you! (The whole crowd gasps). You are a deadweight in my life, in my career. A stupid fangirl, a crazed headless chicken who runs around. I don’t know what I was thinking when I teamed up with you in the first place. Sure, I got two tag championships runs off of it, but I had to carry you all along. And when we lost at BackLash, whose fault was it? Yours. Obviously.

Nikki – Bot…Elexa (she starts crying) wie’re frainds!

Alexa – Friends? No. You’re a leech in my life, sucking on my success. So after BacKLash, I decided to shed some 120 pounds off my life. Well…more of 170 pounds. (Nikki cries profusely, the crowd boos Alexa), so I invented the attack, sprayed some ketchup on me, you dumbass mistook for blood, as I predicted, and got a few weeks off away from you. Time enough to dissolute tag team we had going on, which was more a “Make a Wish” moment, wasn’t it, Nikki? You got to ride awhile with your Idol. But the Idol got tired of carrying you. Oh please don’t cry. It makes your face ugly..Oh wait…you’re already ugly

(She leaves, Nikki is stunned in shock, crying her lungs out; Corey consoles her; he too is shocked with his Goddess; the rest of the wreslters assembled in the ring are also shocked and leave; All but Taynara and Candice who stay behind for an impromptu match)

M. Cole – And we’re back, Renee, I’m still shook from that. Alexa was Alexa’s attacker all along!!

Renee – Poor Nikki. She spent weeks tracking down Alexa’s attacker, damaging her career to avenge her friend, at it was all a lie. From the beginning! She wasn’t even her friend to begin with.

M. Cole – And the hurtful things Alexa said to Nikki. My word, I wasn’t expecting that. I’m shook. But we have to move on, Taynara and Candice have lingered on, and now we have green light, this match is official

Tay Conti vs Candice LeRae

Candice is hoping to gain some traction for her strive in the Women’s Tag Team World Cup, but for Tay Conti this is personal, as Candice is the ally of her mortal enemy, Deonna. Taynara grabs a hold of Candice, and works hard on weakening her arms, with a series of holds. After a few minutes, Candice escapes the domination and hits a german suplex, then goes for a couple of missile dropkicks. She covers, 1, 2, Tay Conti kicks out. Candice grabs Tay’s head goes for a bulldog, but Tay counters with a German suplex of her own, Then she hits with a slingshot jawbreaker, covers, 1, 2, Candice escapes, and immediately transitions to a Garga-No-Escape. Tay Conti is all but ready to quit.

Then Ruas and Bononi head out the ramp and they try to invade the ring. The ref prevents them. However as he is dealing with Bononi, Ruas enters on the other end of the ring, and breaks the hold. Deonna also spurts down the ramp to aid her partner, she, Cezar and the ref are in a heated argument, so Arturo hands her a set of Jiu Jitsu nunchucks; Taynara hits Candice over the head a couple times, Deonna is furious that the ref missed it, but by the time the referee looks back at the ring, Tay has tossed the nunchucks and is covering Candice, 1, 2, 3. Taynara has won this match. The second win in a row for the Brazilian Bruiser.

M. Cole – And we’re back, we now have a teaser for the fatal 4 way at Summer Slam, for the Tag Tea Championships.

Renee – One member from each team will compete this week; the other will compete next week.

Bo Mulligan vs The Miz vs Xavier Woods vs Epico

Each of the competitors partners are on ringside, so this is more of a regular 4 corners tag match, with frequent brawls sprouting all around the ringside. On the ring, Bo is cleaning house dominating operations and attempting a couple of covers, over Xavier and Epico, who kicks out both times. Xavier then dominates for a while, delivers a superkick to Epico, goes for the cover, however The Miz steals the cover, 1,2, Bo interrupts. Xavier connects with a Missile Dropkick. On the outside, Bray Wyatt drives Kofi to the steel steps, then does the same to Morrison. Primo then jumps on his back, but Wyatt picks him up, and drives his back against the ring pole a couple times. Epico is alerted by this and also jumps on Bray’s back, but suffers the same fate.

This wreckage cause by Wyatt causes disarray in the match, as Miz and Xavier are concerned about their partner, and Bo Mulligan seizes the opportunity. He lariats the Miz off the ring, then picks up Xavier Woods, performs a body avalanche then a Double underhook DDT. Cover, 1, 2, 3. The Champion has picked up the win en route for the Championship defense at Summer Slam.

On the backstage, Curtis Axel his seating on the floor, his body hurts, but his ego hurts even move. He’s hit rock bottom. Seth Rollins passes by.

Seth – Custis Alex (Curtis corrects him), Oh, right Curtis Axel, my fault, I see before me a truly natural talent, that has been mistreated by the world. You lack Faith. Inner Faith in yourself, and faith from those around you. I think you need some Liturgy to restore some Faith within in. Think about it (gets gloomier, as if threatening) But don’t think too long. The Messiah does not offer his hand often.

He leaves, and continues down the corridor. Some commotion is heard. It’s RTruth. He’s holding a “Justice for Duquan Rally”, in a podium, with a “Justice for Duquan” tshirt (that he’s also selling in a stand nearby, to raise funds for Duquan’s family) speaking to a – rather confused – crowd, about is homie Duquan, that apparently passed away.

RTruth – There he is!! The man who’s responsible for Duquan’s early demise. Stan Rollers, a.k.a, The Pariah! Justice for Duquan!

Seth – Rtruth, THERE’S NO DUQUAN. Shut you mouth, and shut this whole operation off. Now. (As RTruth denies, Seth just nods to his followers who beat up RTruth and trash his tshirt stand. Just as the camara is cutting away, a beat up RTruth mutters “justice…for…Duquan”)

M. Cole – And we’re back, looks like Seth Rollins is extending a helping hand towards Curtis Axel.

Renee – Yeah, but that hand is the same hand that will beat him should he refuse. But now it’s time for this week’s Cena’s open Challenge. Unfortunately, it’s not the one he used to do for the US Title, that was so great, It’s this meaningless one, for a title that doesn’t exist..

Abadoooo, Out comes Cena. But before he opens his mouth, a guitar note is heard. It’s Elias:

Elias (Singing) –

In front a filled ScotiaBank Arena

'nWo World Heavyweight Championship'

They start by locking up, and to the crowd’s surprise, Elias wins the test of strength. He gets cocky on the cheers and gets smashed in the head by Cena’s forearm, repeatedly. Cena picks him up, fireman carry, but Elias escapes, performs a backbody drop. He then attempts an Attitude Adjustment. He picks Cena up and shouts “it’s just what you need, John, and adjustment”, but takes too long and Cena escapes, and pushes Elias who bumps the ref. Seizing the chance Cena performs a running bulldog, but grabs Elias hair. Keep pulling his hair. Some locks come off. The crowd boos this attitude. Cena then, goes under the ring, but is unable to find his Shovel. Elias goes after him, but is met him a knockout uppercut punch with brass knuckles. It’s totally illegal, but the ref is out cold.

Cena positions Elias on a corner, then grabs his own guitar and smashes it over Elias’ head. He then grabs Elias’ mic stand and uses it as a punishing rod, repeatedly hitting Elias’ back. The crowd is furious at Cena. Then Heath Slater runs down the ramp to defend his partner, he has got the Golden Shovel with him and punishes Cena, repeatedly. At each strike the crowd rejoices. Cena is downed, in serious pain. Just as the ref appears to regain conscience, Slater leaves him, tosses the Shovel off, drags Elias and puts him on top of Cena, making a cover, and runs off. The Ref regains conscience, sees it, counts, 1, 2, oh no, at 2 and ¾ Cena puts his shoulder up. He then gets up, Hulks up, fully performs Hulk Hogan’s hulking up routine, grabs Elias, Attitude Adjustment, 1, 2, 3. Cena “retains”.

On the back the Liturgy is assembled, Seth Rollins is pep talking to the AoP prior to their match against Gargano and a mystery partner. Roman Reigns comes up. Tensions rise immediately.

Roman – Seth, I was wondering if we could have a talk. I still think we can talk this through, we have been friends for the last decade. More than friends. Seth, please. If you valued any of the moments we lived together, just grant me the opportunity to talks things up with you. Just us two.

Seth – Ahahahah, you must think I’m stupid. Though I am not. I am the Messiah, and the Messiah is illuminated by Providence, and the Messiah can see the deceit in your eyes. You just want to be left alone with me to attack the Messiah’s Holy Body!

Roman – Seth, none of that. I just want to talk to you, Seth Rollins, not this Messiah shtick. He Seth Rollins within, I know he is there somewhere.

Seth (in a rather cheerful manner) – I tell you what. I feel merciful tonight. It is the apanage of the Messiah to grant the wishes of less enlightened men, so I’ll grant you the opportunity to apologize to the Messiah for the ill thing you have done unto him over the years. Akam, Rezar, you go on to your match, we’ll join you promptly (gets gloomier) But Murphy, my Disciple, you stay with me, in case this low life tries something he deems funny.

Roman – That won’t be necessary (Seth insists, Roman agrees that Murphy can join them). Ok, let’s find somewhere quieter, away from the cameras, to chat (they come up to a room, Roman lights it up) Here, I think here it’s fine.

(Seth orders Murphy to inspect the room, to see if it is suitable, and no traps are in place; Murphy gives the green light; They enter; as soon as they enter, Roman pushes Murphy against Seth, then leaves the room, and locks the door behind him. Inside, Seth and Murphy are furious, but trapped. Roman outsmarted the Messiah)

Renee – Wow, that was cunning. And I’m itching to find out who Johnny Gargano has chosen for his partner here tonight.

M. Cole – You, me, the entire WWE Universe. There’s was a lot of rumors over the week on social media. Some say he’s gonna chose his wife, Candice LeRae, but she has already had a match tonight, so I don’t think it’s likely. Another persistent rumor was that Tommaso Ciampa would be his partner. And remember we haven’t seen him in NXT in quite a while. Could it be?

Renee – I dunno Michael, I’ve even heard rumors on the web for all tastes. I mean, some said The Rock is coming out, some said Hulk Hogan, Others said someone from outside the WWE is coming, I even heard that he had reconciled with John Morrison and they would partner tonight.  

The AoP enter; they appear to be apprehensive without their Leader. Gargano enters, to a huge pop by the crowd. Everybody is wondering who his partner is going to be. Then, Eric Young’s music comes up, with gimmick and ring gear and more akin to his earlier days in TNA. He’s an Ontarian, so he gets a sort of home turf pop, however several in the crowd are disappointed, as they were expecting a sounding name.

Gargano – I was told I had to prove to be a leader. So I invited a guy that I always had a huge respect for, who has tons of accomplishments outside the WWE, but somehow have always been misused here on the Fed. If am to become a leader in this locker room, this is the sort of wrestler I want to join me on the ride.

E. Young – Thank you Johnny. As for me, I just want to bash some skulls and I want to do it now, ref ring the bell

Acolytes of Pain vs Johnny Gargano & Eric Young

Eric and Rezar start the match, Eric is energetic and delivers an Irish whip then a reverse elbow, followed by high running crossbody and a Reverse Atomic Drop. Cover, 1, 2, Rezar, escapes. Eric delivers a series of chops to Rezar’s upper body, but drives him to his own corner, and Akam tags himself in. Akam is fresh and plows through Eric Young, with a series of high impact slams, finalizing with a Gorilla Press Slam. He tags Rezar back in, Rezar goes for a big boot, but misses, gets hanged on the ropes, Gargano tags himself in, goes for a release german suplex, then goes for a suicide dive on Akam on the outside

Returning to the ring the would-be challenger for the US title, puts on a show for the crowd in the next couple of minutes displaying the diversity of is arsenal of moves. Rezar is spent, but he does not cover, he invites Eric Young in, saying “I believe you!”. Eric is now the legal man, but he requests the fresher Akam to tag himself in. He does so. Akam hits a couple of lariats, and two running powerbombs. The commentators question Gargano’s decision to trust his title shot solely to Eric Young. Akam covers, 1 , 2, Eric Young escapes.

He is reinvigorated and with confidence in his eyes. The crowd is behind him, and he manages to hit the bigger Akam hard with some falling neckbreakers, then an Elbow drop from the top rope. He then goes on the top turnbuckle and applies a Dragon Sleeper. Gargano guards that corner against investitures by Rezar. The two clash off the ring, and Akam is fading. The crowd cheers on Eric. He looks his best in years. On the outside Gargano disposes of Rezar with a slingshot DDT. In the ring Akam fades away. The ref checks on him thrice, he’s unresponsive, that’s it, Eric has won this for Gargano.

M. Cole – What an impressive win for Gargano and for Eric Young, who hasn’t had much of an opportunity of late. But now we have our main event. And we also have mystery partners. The STUDS, all five of them take on Braun Strowman, Goldberg, The Gronk, and one, or even two, mystery partners. Who could it be?

Renee – I can’t say Michael, but I think this one definitely comes from within WWE; I wouldn’t see that many wrestlers in the independent scene would have much love for Braun Strowman.

The whole 5 STUDS enter, to impressive entrances, with choreographies and pyro; Then Braun’s roar is heard, he enters. Goldberg has a stunning entrance as well, with security guards as usual; then the Gronk make is entrance. Some mystery lingers. Do Braun’s team have any more members? It doesn’t seem so. The teams take up their place in opposite corners of the ring. The STUDS are gloating, full of overconfidence, uttering “5 on 3?? You got no chance”. Suddenly

Lights dim. When they come back up smoke is filling the stage. Then, a longhorn echoes the arena, it’s the Viking Raiders!!! They are the 4^th and 5^th member of Braun’s team, running down the ramp, eager to join the raid, so much so, Ivar wants to go first.

The STUDS vs Braun, Goldberg, Gronk, Erik & Ivar

Ivar starts for the Challengers, and Titus the Titan starts for the STUDS. Titus hits with a couple european uppercuts and a back body drop. The Viking, however seems unfazed and tags Erik in, the duo performs their signature Thor’s Hammer. Erik covers, Lashley prevents the count of 3. Morrison tags himself in, and quickly gets a hold of the match, with a reverse chuck kick and a hurricanrana. He tags his partner, the Miz, who is pulling double duty tonight but still is able to put up a good showing for a couple of minutes, furst against Erik, then against the Gronk. Finally, the Gronk hits with a devastating shoulder tackle, followed by an attempt at a Gorilla Press Slam, that Lashley prevents from happening. Braun enters the ring and confronts the Universal Champion. He demands Lashley gets a tag. They both do.

The crowd erupts in a Roar, as they think they’re seeing a preview of the Summer Slam’s Main Event. They Lock up. The test of strength last for a while, as neither wrestlers proves to be stronger than the other. They separate. Another test of strength, but Lashley punches Strowman in the guts, he Irish whips him, but Strowman Shoulder tackles the champ to the ground on the rebound. He roars and tears his shirt off. Lashley tries to pick him up for a Dominator, but Braun proves too heavy. He is driven to the STUDS corner where the 5 of them attack him. He is able to shake them off and then hist Lashley with a Running Powerslam. He goes for the cover, however the referee points out that Lashley isn’t the legal man, amidst the confusion Ziggler has inadvertly made the tag. Ziggler is dragged inside by Braun. Goldberg ask for the tag, he enters at full speed, Spear, tries the JackHammer, connects, the crowd pops immensely, this is the first JackHammer Goldberg has pulled off in months, cover, his partners block the STUDS from interfering, 1, 2, 3. Braun’s team has won. Braun is challenging for the Universal Championship at Summer Slam.

E também não gostei que tenham sido o Young e o Goldberg a conseguir os pins em combates que davam algo a ganhar a outras pessoas, mas pelo menos os vencedores foram os corretos.

Gosto que trates do 24/7 como se fosse um título que interessa-se para alguma coisa e não como irl em que é um monte de roll ups e que o R-Truth já é 938347 vezes campeão. Mas continuo sem grande interesse no pessoal que compete por ele.

Bem, eu prefiro a Alexa como heel, acho que é a melhor do roster nesse papel (a seguir à Sasha). Só acho que havia formas melhores de fazer o turn do que fingir um ataque a ela própria para no fim confessar que foi tudo feito por ela.

Não consigo imaginar um cenário em que o Bray Wyatt tá no ringside a fazer de manager ou wtv de alguém. Não vai nada com a personagem dele.

mais do que qualquer feud com outra pessoa qualquer, acho que a feud da Nikki que interessaria era com a Alexa. E agora vai estar fuelled por odio  pessoal e traição. Doesnt get any better.

mas vê de outro lado. o Pin do Eric é para valorizar a liderança. Esse era o repto do Seth Rollins: Queres te candidatar ao titulo? Prova que és um lider. E a prova sai quando o Johnny tem o cobate controlado e deixa o Eric finalizar a coisa. Demonstra fé nele. Delega. Todo o bom lider sabe delegar.

Já o Goldberg teria de ser algo assim. Pq o ênfase era na equipa. O Strowan sozinho não conseguia farinha com os 5 STUDS. E convenceu-se a ter um stable tb. Acho que para ser conseuquente o pin só podia ser conseguido por algum membro da equipa. Para demonstrar que sim, vale a pena estar integrado. Acabou por ir para o Goldberg pq é o membro da equipa com mais Curriculo, digamos assim. E sempre dá aquele pop de ver o Goldberg finalmente a conseguir um jackhammer. Spear + Jackhammer é o melhor combo de sempre, imo.

Eu até gosto de Lashley vs Strowman, e não sei quem ganhará. Mas tem que ser um combate tipo o Lesnar vs Goldberg na wrestlemania, dois monstros a colidir e a aplicar só os melhores golpes de força e a acabar em 5 minutos.

ok, mas acho que não posso dar um 180º no estilo do Roman. Ele tem sido isto (apesar do pushback do publico) e não podia mudar muito o estilo repentinamente.

Estou a optar por outra approach: em vez de o mudar muito, não o empurro down fan's throats a cada programa. Estou a dosear o quanto o publico recebe do Roman, para não enfadar demais. Em dose pequenas, até essa cornyness do Roman Reigns se grama. O problema é que a WWE faz um shove excessivo e permanente.

sim, mas falta a ambos um qualquer coisa extra. Um bocado de star quality. Confesso que nao é um excelente combate de big ppv. Se fosse o main event de um Stomping Grounds, nada a dizer. Mas no SSlam...

Para mim do SD era Roman claramente, e o Corbin antes de se tornar mais odiado que o Trump. Talvez o Ziggler.

estou hypado para a cremação do Taker. acho que, no entanto, ele só aparece no SSlam.

Por acaso não conheço. Já joguei TEW, mas fazemos isto tudo à mão porque assim temos liberdade total. Escrevemos exatamente o que queremos sem termos que nos preocupar com a pontuação dos segmentos ou em atingir objetivos que um jogo gera, etc.
