Vic Joseph: Good evening ladies and gentleman, and welcome to an historic edition of Monday Night Raw. Live from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregan, tonight we will witness the first ever match of the Queen of the Ring tournament, as Raw’s Bayley will fight NXT’s Mercedes Martinez. And guys, here is the full bracket of the tournament. 

Byron Saxton: Not only that, tonight the Undisputed Era will have a match against FUSION to determine who will represent Raw at Survivor Series, and the American Alpha will finally battle with the Usos for the WWE Raw Tag Team titles. 

Booker T: I don’t think they will, Byron. Shane is here tonight to personally fire Paul Wight, and after that I doubt the American Alpha can have their match. In fact, maybe Chad Gable will also be fired, and rightfully so, since they both putted their hands on Shane. 

 

HERE COMES THE MONEY! 

Shane McMahon é muito assobiado, mas tal como na semana passada, vem até ao ringue com um sorriso enorme. 

Shane: This is one of the happiest days of my professional life, because tonight I get to fire that stupid giant, after he attacking me for absolutely no reason last week. And the more I think about it, Chad Gable did the same, so Paul, Chad, please come to the ring so I can fire you.  

Passam alguns segundos, mas ninguém aparece. 

Shane: Why is it taking so long? Are you already saying goodbye to everyone? Paul, can’t you get off your chair? Chad, are you on the phone with your friend’s daddy to see if he can get you a job on SmackDown? That’s not gonna happen, you’re about to be fired from the entire WWE, not just from Raw. 

O tempo continua a passar e ninguém aparece, o que começa a irritar Shane. 

Shane: JUST GET HERE DAMN IT! I'M YOUR BOSS, AND THIS IS AN ORDER. 

NO CHANCE, NO CHANCE IN HELL! 

Shane está surpreendido por ver o seu pai, e mais surpreendido fica quando atrás dele surgem Paul Wight, Chad Gable e também o regressado Jason Jordan. 

Vince: Shane, first of all, there’s only one boss here, and that’s me. And only I have the power to fire someone from the WWE, but I’m not gonna fire Chad Gable because in my opinion he did nothing wrong. He tried to make justice with his own hands, and I like that kind of attitude. And Shane, as your father I can tell you that you can consider yourself lucky, because if I hadn’t appeared tonight, these guys would give you the beating of a lifetime. 

Shane: But they attacked me, you have to fire them. 

Vince: Yes but you attacked first. You’ve always been a spoiled child, Shane, but it’s time for you to understand that if you want something, you have to earn it. So you want the control of Monday Night Raw, that’s what this is all about, right? Then fine, let’s solve this the way we know, we are in WWE after all, and Survivor Series is around the corner. There’s gonna be a match, 5 on 5, Team Paul against Team Shane. If Team Paul wins, Paul remains as Raw’s GM, if team Shane wins, Shane will be the new GM. Until then, you have to find a way to work together, because you’ll both be co-General Managers of Monday Night Raw until Survivor Series. 

Chad: This goes without saying but... American Alpha is on Team Paul! 

 

Passamos ao backstage onde está Charly Caruso com Becky Lynch. 

Charly: Becky, in three weeks you’re gonna challenge Ronda Rousey for the WWE Raw Women’s title. Do you have anything to say to her? 

Becky: I do, but I rather do it face to face. I know she’s not here tonight, just like she wasn’t last week... I guess she’s too embarassed because she lost against me and Toni, and we all know that when Ronda loses, she just disappears. But I hope she’s here next week, for a very calm and formal talk between two women. 

 

Quando voltamos ao ringue, vemos os Usos a fazerem a sua entrada para defenderem os seus títulos contra os American Alpha.

Chad e Jey começam o combate, que já era antecipado há bastante tempo. Chad faz uso das suas capacidades de wrestling para levar Jey para o chão e dominá-lo aí numa fase inicial. Com cerca de 5 minutos de combate, Chad faz o tag com Jason, mas este é surpreendido por um leg sweep de Jey, que faz o tag com Jimmy que aplica logo um corkscrew elbow. O combate segue agora e são os campeões que estão no controlo. Durante mais 15 minutos as duas equipas partilham a ofensiva, mostrando uma grande variedade de manobras e chegando a algumas tentativas de pin. Destaque para quando a certa altura, Jimmy quebra um tentativa de pin por roll-up, Chad também entra em ringue e gera-se uma confusão com os quatro no ringue. Os campeões conseguem um double superkick, Jey sobe ao canto e acerta um Samoan splash em Jason. Jey faz o pin mas Jason consegue escapar-se. O combate segue até estarem Chad e Jimmy em ringue, e Chad consegue acertar um running double leg facebuster. Chad encosta Jimmy ao canto e faz o tag com Jason, que apanha algum balanço e acerta um corner spear em Jimmy. Jimmy fica no chão, e Jason vai para prender o ankle lock, mas de repente Jey entra no ringue e corre virado a ele, mas Jason desvia-se e atira-o para fora do ringue. Chad corre na apron e lança-se para Jey num cannonball attack. Jason volta-se a virar para o ringue e Jimmy já está de pé, e tenta-lhe acertar um superkick, mas Jason apanha-lhe o pé, e consegue acertar um Jordan slam. Chad já está na apron, Jason faz o tag, Chad sobe à corda superior... moonsault. 1,2...3 Chad Gable consegue a vitória.

Voltamos ao backstage onde Charly Caruso está agora com Shane McMahon. 

Charly: Congratulations to the new WWE Raw Tag Team Champions, The American Alpha. Shane, you can’t be happy about this, since you’ve done everything to prevent Jason Jordan from winning any title here. 

Shane: Charly, Charly, what are you talking about? I’m Shane McMahon, co-General Manager of Monday Night Raw, I would never do anything to prevent the success of any Superstar. In fact, watching this title change has inspired me. I can’t find my colleague Paul Wight to discuss this with him, but my first decision has co-General Manager will be to book another title match for tonight. So later tonight, the WWE Champion Edge will defend his title against The Phenomenal One, AJ Styles. 

 

Voltamos ao ringue para o segundo combate da noite. 

Drew McIntyre vs Shelton Benjamin

Começa o combate e Shelton tenta surpreender Drew, começando com um ataque rápido, acertando um step up hign knee e um northern lights suplex. No entanto, Shelton parece ficar demasiado confiante devido a este bom começo, e começa a provocar Drew, com trash talk e dando-lhe chapadas na cabeça. Mas quando agarra nele para um german suplex, Drew consegue impedir a manobra, dá-lhe uma covovelada e depois acerta um big boot. Drew recompõe-se e parece ter ficado irritado. Ele agarra em Shelton e aplica 3 belly to back suplexes que o atiram de um lado ao outro do ringue. Ele depois agarra em Shelton e atira-o com muita força contra a turnbuckle, e quando Shelton volta para ele a cambalear, Drew aplica um spinebuster. Drew quer acabar com isto, apanha balanço enquanto Shelton se tenta levantar... claymore, 1,2,3 vitória para Drew McIntyre. 

 

Quando acaba o combate, Drew agarra num microfone. 

Drew: Brock, this is what is coming for you. 

Drew larga o microfone e coloca-se em posição para mais um claymore kick enquanto espera que Shelton se levante. Mas de repente aparece Apollo Crews por fora do ringue e puxa a perna de Drew, fazendo-o cair. Apollo puxa depois Drew contra o poste do ringue, e atira repetidamente a perna dele contra o poste. 

Drew fica cheio de dores enquanto Apollo ajuda Shelton a sair do ringue, e os dois vão embora deixando o ex- WWE Champion em mau estado. 

 

Intervalo 

 

Vic Joseph: Ladies and gentleman, it is time to witness history being made. This will be the first ever Queen of the Ring tournament match. 

Bayley vs Mercedes Martinez - Queen of the Ring ¼ finals

Começa o combate e Bayley provoca Mercedes, e também todo o NXT, dizendo-lhe “Welcome to the big league”. Mercedes não gosta da provocação e dá um estalo em Bayley, seguido de um dropkick. Mercedes consegue surpreender Bayley e continua ao ataque, aplicando um saito suplex e um swinging neckbreaker, faz o pin mas Bayley safa-se. O combate segue com Mercedes a controlar a maior parte, até que com quase 10 minutos de combate, ela tenta aplicar um powerbomb mas Bayley contra-ataca com um hurricanrana que atira Mercedes de cara contra a turnbuckle. Bayley pontapeia agora Mercedes repetidamente encostada ao canto, e aplica depois o one handed bulldog, 1,2... Mercedes safa-se. Segue o combate e é Bayley que agora está a controlar. Bayley aplica manobras como o elbow smash e o reversed DDT, e a certa altura corre virada a Mercedes para lhe acertar com um running back elbow, mas Mercedes apanha-a e começa a aplicar o three amigas, mas antes do terceiro suplex, Bayley consegue dar-lhe uma cotovelada, vira-se para ela e aplica o belly to Bayley, 1,2...3 Bayley avança no Queen of the Ring. 

 

Depois do combate, Bayley pega num microfone. 

Bayley: That’s right, I keep making history. I am just unbelievable. First ever match of the Queen of the Ring tournament, and who else could win, but me? I don’t just call myself the Queen, I will win this whole thing to show that I represent the royalty of this business. I don’t call myself the EST of NXT, because back when I was at Full Sail, I MADE NXT. And I certainly don’t call myself the Empress of Tomorrow, because everybody knows that I represent the tomorrow, I represent the today, and I represent everything, EVERYTHING. There would not be a Women’s Evolution without me, there would not be women headlining PPV’s if it wasn’t for me and Sasha, and there certainly would not be a Queen of the Ring tournament if it wasn’t for me, so to all of you... you’re welcome. 

 

Passamos ao ginásio onde vemos EC3 a exercitar-se, até que chega Ricochet. 

Ricochet: HEY, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ABOUT LAST WEEK? 

EC3: I told you before, don’t annoy me, I’m not in the mood for some spiderman wannabe. 

Ricochet: Maybe you’re in a mood for some payback. 

Os dois começam a trocar murros ali mesmo, com muita intensidade e agressividade. De repente entram por ali dentro os Street Profits, os Geniuses, Riddick Moss, Tozawa e Carrillo para os separarem. Eles conseguem afastar EC3 e Ricochet momentaneamente, mas EC3 consegue soltar-se, corre virado a Ricochet e atira-o contra um espelho, partindo-o completamente. EC3 sai dali para fora, enquanto que os outros ficam com Ricochet e chamam ajuda, já que este ficou com vários cortes por causa dos vidros. 

 

Vic Joseph: It is time for a WWE Championship Match. This was put together by Shane McMahon just a while ago, and we still don’t know the opinion of Paul Wight on this, because no one has seen him in over an hour. 

Byron Saxton: I don’t really think AJ deserves this opportunity. He lost at No Way Out and he hasn’t even being on Raw since that. 

Booker T: AJ Styles is the best in-ring performer of this generation, and as long as that is true, he will always deserve every opportunity he gets. Besides, he’s the one who retired The Undertaker just a few months ago, let’s not forget that.

AJ Styles vem para o ringue sozinho, e quando a campaínha toca Edge e AJ ficam frente a frente, enquanto a crowd se entusiasma para este combate. Os dois começam a tocar murros no meio do ringue, e AJ é o primeiro a levar a melhor quando surpreende Edge com um Pele kick. AJ começa a desgastar Edge com várias manobras, como o spinal tap e o single foot DDT. Durante cerca de 10 minutos AJ consegue estar por cima do combate, mas isso muda quando AJ tenta o phenomenal forearm mas é apanhado no ar por um dropkick. Edge depois controla o combate durante cerca de 5 minutos, até conseguir prender o Edgecator, a manobra que lhe valeu a vitória na semana passada frente a Samoa Joe. AJ resiste, e eventualmente consegue chegar à corda para quebrar a manobra, mas o dano foi feito. Edge segue no controlo, e passado um bocado atira AJ contra as cordas, e na volta aplica um flapjack, mas AJ aterra de pé, tenta acertar um jumping enziguri mas Edge baixa-se, agarra em AJ... Edgecution, 1...2... AJ mete o pé na corda mas o árbitro não vê...3. Edge conquista a vitória e retém o seu título. 

 

Enquanto Edge celebra, a sua música é cortada e aparece Shane McMahon na rampa. 

Shane: Hold on, this is not how this is gonna go out. It is completely unacceptable that a match like this ends that way. AJ’s foot was clearly on the rope, he doesn’t deserve to be screwed by a bad referee call. 

O público assobia, já que ninguém se esquece que há poucas semanas Shane atribuiu uma vitória a AJ Styles sobre Drew McIntyre quando este também tinha o pé na corda. 

Shane: Therefore, I, as a fair co-General Manager, have to do what is right for everyone. So let’s give you some time to rest, and later tonight this match will restart, this time as a Fall Counts Anywhere. And to avoid bad referee decisions, I will be the special guest referee.

Quando voltamos ao show, está Edge a bater à porta de Paul Wight, mas ninguém abre. Aparentemente Edge já ali está há uns minutos, cansa-se de esperar e manda um pontapé na porta para a abrir. Quando entra encontra Paul Wight deitado no chão, com uma poça de sangue à volta da sua cabeça. 

Edge: GET SOME HELP OUT HERE! 

 

Byron Saxton: What did we just saw? What happened? 

Booker T: I have no idea, I’m speachless. 

Vic Joseph: So am I, and let me just send the best wishes for Paul Wight and let’s hope it’s not as serious as it looked. But for the good and the bad the show must go on, and now it is time for a very important match for Raw, because the winner team of the next match will represent Raw at Survivor Series. 

The Undisputed Era vs FUSION

Adam Cole começa o combate contra Cesaro, e os dois mostram uma grande química nos minutos iniciais do combate, sem que nenhum consiga realmente obter o controlo. Eventualmente começam os tags e as diferentes combinações de wrestlers, e o combate segue sempre a um ritmo elevado. A certa altura estão em ringue Roderick Strong e Sheamus, e este último consegue um estrondoso tilt-a-whirl powerslam. Sheamus isola Strong no seu canto, e começam vários tag entre os FUSION que vão desgastando Roderick. Pouco depois Nakamura corre virado a ele para acertar um jumping yakuza kick, mas Strong baixa-se e Nakamura acaba por acertar em Ohno e fazê-lo cair para o ringside. Strong tenta chegar ao seu canto, mas Nakamura consegue agarrar-lhe no pé para o impedir, só que Strong acerta-lhe um enziguri, deixando Nakamura ajoelhado, e Strong consegue o tag com Adam Cole. O Intercontinental Champion entra no ringue a grande velocidade e acerta o last shot em Nakamura, 1,2... Sheamus entra no ringue e quebra o pin. Ele arrasta Nakamura para o seu canto e faz o tag, e começa a dominar Adam Cole, com manobras como o rolling fireman’s carry e o drop suplex. Sheamus tenta o pin mas Adam safa-se. Sheamus coloca Adam na apron e começa a aplicar o ten beats of Bohdrán, mas quando vai para a décima, Adam agarra-lhe na cabeça e salta, fazendo com que Sheamus bata na corda superior. Adam tenta voltar para o ringue mas Ohno agarra-lhe na perna e puxa-o para fora, só que Adam consegue-lhe acertar um superkick. Adam volta agora ao ringue, mas é imediatamente surpreendido com um running double axe handle de Sheamus. Sheamus faz o tag com Cesaro, que entra no ringue, e consegue aplicar logo o neutralizer, 1,2... Bobby Fish entra no ringue e quebra o pin. Neste momento Sheamus entra no ringue e ataca Bobby Fish, mas Strong entra também no ringue a ajuda Fish, atirando Sheamus para fora do ringue e indo atrás dele para continuar o ataque. Vemos Adam Cole a começar a levantar-se lentamente, e Cesaro a preparar-se para atacar, mas Nakamura faz o tag nas costas de Cesaro, prepara-se para o kinshasa... mas Adam Cole apanha-o com um superkick, e deixa-se cair para trás fazendo o tag com Kyle O’Reilly. Kyle vai virado a Cesaro e acerta-lhe um big boot, faz o tag com Fish e os dois aplicam o chasing the dragon em Nakamura, 1,2...3. 

Vic Joseph: What a victory, the Undisputed Era will represent Monday Night Raw at Survivor Series. 

 

A Undisputed Era celebra a vitória, mas a câmera corta abruptamente para o backstage onde Paul Wight está a ser carregado para uma ambulância. Edge está junto a ele, e de repente aparece Shane McMahon, a vestir uma camisola de árbitro, muito sorridente. 

Shane: C’mon Edge, the show must go on. Your match is next. 

Shane segue para o ringue, segue-se AJ Styles, e por último vem o campeão.

Edge caminha rampa abaixo muito enervado, e antes de entrar no ringue, saca de uma cadeira debaixo do ringue. Ele entra então no ringue para começar o combate mas Shane diz-lhe que tem que largar a cadeira. Edge pergunta porquê, já que neste combate não haverá desqualificações, mas Shane simplesmente diz-lhe que não começará o combate enquanto Edge não largar a cadeira. Edge atira a cadeira para o chão, e AJ agarra nela, sendo que agora Shane manda soar a campaínha. Edge começa a discutir com Shane, a perguntar-lhe porque é que começou o combate, mas AJ dá-lhe com a cadeira. Edge cai e AJ dá-lhe umas 7 ou 8 cadeiradas nas costas, faz o pin mas Edge safa-se. AJ prosegue ao ataque com um deadlift death valley driver e um pumphandle gutbuster, volta ao pin mas Edge volta a safar-se. AJ decide mudar de estratégia, prende a cadeira à volta do pé de Edge, e acaba por pisar, deixando Edge em agonia cheio de dores. Aí AJ prende o calf crusher, tentando fazer com que Edge desista, mas este resiste e arrasta-se pelo ringue. Ele chega à corda mas isso não obriga AJ a largar a manobra, então ele agarra-se na apron e arrasta-se para fora do ringue, e AJ acaba por o largar. Edge fica cheio de dores no ringside, enquanto que AJ perde algum tempo a pavonear-se no ringue. AJ sai depois do ringue, e vai virado a Edge, mas este tira de repente um kendo stick debaixo do ringue e surpreende AJ, acertando-lhe no joelho. Edge dá algumas stickadas em AJ, conseguindo depois levantar-se lentamente, mas a coxear. Edge levanta AJ, e coloca-o em posição para o Edgecution, mas AJ consegue empurrá-lo contra a barricade. AJ tenta recompôr-se, e corre virado a Edge e lança-se para lhe dar uma cotovelada mas Edge baixa-se e AJ passa por cima da barricade. Edge aproveita este tempo para recuperar um pouco, enquanto que lentamente AJ também se vai levantando, e volta a passar da barricade para o ringside. Os dois trocam alguns murros, e tal como no primeiro combate, AJ tenta acertar um Pele kick mas desta vez Edge desvia-se e AJ cai no chão, quando se levanta Edge vai virado a ele e aplica um spear através da barricade que deixa toda a crowd a gritar “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!”. Edge faz o pin, 1...2... mas Shane não faz a contagem de 3, e fica simplesmente a olhar para Edge, que está completamente passado com o que está a acontecer. Edge começa a discutir com Shane, que nem lhe responde, simplesmente aponta para trás dele, Edge olha para trás e de repente tem os Good Brothers em cima de si. Gallows e Anderson começam a bater violentamente em Edge, mas de repente... 

Byron Saxton: HERE COME THE NEW WWE RAW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS. 

Os American Alpha aparecem a correr rampa abaixo, e vão virados aos Good Brothers para os impedir de atacar Edge. Eles começam a trocar murros, os campeões estão a levar a melhor, a crowd está-se a entusiasmar, mas de repente é o próprio Shane McMahon que se aproxima por trás de Chad Gable e dá-lhe um pontapé no meio das pernas, sendo bastante vaiado pela crowd. Jason tenta agora resistir contra dois, mas Gallows consegue aplicar um chokeslam. Anderson limpa a mesa dos comentadores, e parece que é hora de acabar com isto, Gallows agarra em Edge e aplica um chokeslam através da mesa. AJ entretanto já está de pé, agarra em Edge, e aplica o Styles clash. 1,2...3 e AJ Styles é o novo WWE Champion.  

Shane entrega o título a AJ, que celebra com os Good Brothers. Shane aproxima-se deles e diz-lhes qualquer coisa, e depois disto, os Good Brothers agarram em Chad Gable e aplicam o magic killer fora do ringue, e metem Jason Jordan para dentro do ringue. Shane pega num microfone. 

Shane: Chad, Jason, since you’re so eager to fight, and you even came to fight a battle that wasn’t yours, I guess you can have one more battle of your own. You’ll defend the WWE Raw Tag Team titles... right now.

Chad está completamente fora dela no ringside, e Jason também não está em bom estado, mas Shane manda soar a campaínha. Os Good Brothers simplesmente agarram em Jason, aplicam o magic killer... 1,2...3 e os Good Brothers são os novos WWE Raw Tag Team Champions. 

 

Os OC festejam com todos os títulos no ringue, e Shane volta a pegar no microfone. 

Shane: In case you didn’t understand, the OC are on Team Shane! 

Shane cumprimenta-os e celebra com eles, enquanto que a crowd os vaia como se não houvesse amanhã. 

 

[Ruas]

Gosto do 5 v 5 entre o Shane e o Show, sempre foi disso que se tratou o SS, combates de equipas (não necessariamente brand vs brand). Agora não consigo gostar que o Edge volte a defender o título passado uma semana da ultima defesa, que tenha que ter 2 combates pelo título no mesmo show. Eu sei que é por causa do Shane mas isso só faz com que o Shane seja a figura central de tudo e se envolva em tudo. E eu sempre odiei quando a WWE era só a m*rda da authority. Têm que ser os wrestlers a ter protagonismo, caguei para os GM ou wtv. Além de que tantas defesas em tão pouco tempo tiram valor ao título e a eventuais defesas futuras.

A Bayley já vai levar resposta na quarta, bitch. Agora em relação ao combate não curti muito, tipo a Mercedes faz um move, Bayley contra ataca, finisher, 1 2 3. Não é um squash porque a Mercedes teve (pouca) ofensiva mas acabou muito facilmente. É o primeiro QofR, eu vou tentar deixar toda a gente over nos combates que vou bookar e aqui pareceu demasiado fácil para a Bayley vencer a Mercedes. Também pode ser só a minha visão porque a Mercedes é do NXT mas ela já venceu a Charlotte 2 vezes, sendo que numa delas a fez desistir e depois basta um Bayley to Belly e puff.

O resto do show foi bacano, também achei desnecessária a derrota dos Usos porque agora a feud vai ser OC vs AA e eles ficam para 3º plano quando são os ex campeões e a equipa mais estabelecida do roster.

Sabia que não ias gostar de tanto envolvimento do Shane e de todas as shenanigans com os títulos (o Ilidio estará orgulhoso, no entanto), mas isto serviu mesmo para mostrar como será o show se o Shane assumir o controlo. Depois de hoje não haverá dúvidas que estará tudo a puxar pela Team Paul no Survivor Series.

Não detalhei muito as manobras porque já ia ter o UE vs FUSION e o Falls Count Anywhere que tinham que ser combates mais detalhados, mas Bayley vs Mercedes teve cerca de 15 minutos, sendo que a Mercedes até dominou os primeiros 10, trocaram várias manobras... depois foi o finisher da Bayley que acabou com o combate, eu muito raramente meto alguém a safar-se de um finisher.

Em relação aos Usos, são claramente a equipa mais estabelecida, mas já estavam na title scene há 3 meses, é altura de se afastarem um pouco para dar hipótese a outras equipas de ganharem estatuto. Mas há planos para os Usos, não vão agora ficar perdidos.

Isto serve também para aglutinar os títulos de tag team e o WWE title à volta desta história do 5 vs 5 no Survivor Series, pois assim há justificação para não serem defendidos no PPV (se meter todos os títulos a serem defendidos + todos os outros combates, ia acabar por ficar um PPV muito grande porque ainda teríamos todos os outros combates).

Sim eu também não tou a dizer para se safar do finisher, também só faço isso em situações muito especificas. Mas foi tipo, ataque da Mercedes, cotovelada, finisher, 1 2 3. Não houve build up para o final do combate, foi outta nowhere. E convenhamos que o Bayley to Belly não é bem um RKO.

Não foi bem essa a ideia, na parte final era a Bayley que estava a controlar, mas a Mercedes conseguiu apanhá-la e contra-atacar com o three amigas, e quando parece que o vai conseguir, é a Bayley que consegue novamente reverter e aplicar o finisher.

Da Bayley não gostei muito. Pareceu-me um segmento pouco focado, a disparar em várias direcções. Sendo que ela tinha aquele chip on her shoulder de ter perdido o titulo do SmackDown apenas pelo draft. Ela devia andar aí a reclamar ser campeã! Devia ir ao museu da WWE em Stamford e trazer de lá u Women's Champion antigo ou assim (onde é que eu já vi isto?....) e dizer "I'm the true champion!", em vez de andar a mandar bocas À Asuka, Bianca e assim.

Para o segmento do Vince até me baseei numa das últimas aparições dele, na altura com o Owens quando estava em rivalidade com o Shane, em que ele também veio e basicamente disse "resolvam as vossas m*rda mas é no ringue". Veio meter ordem, porque basicamente era o único que o podia fazer. Acho que o Vince já está velho demais para ser o heel que já foi, já não pode levar na boca e como as aparições dele são cada vez mais esporádicas até acho que levaria sempre um grande pop. 

As trocas de títulos tão rápidas também não são muito o que gosto de fazer, mas como expliquei, foi para mostrar o que será o Raw se o Shane estiver no comando. Neste momento de um lado estão os OC e do outro estão os American Alpha e o Edge, quem se irá juntar a esta guerra? 

A Bayley já lutou pelo título, e perdeu. Continuar a insistir no justice for Bayley ia fazer passar a ideia que ela é chanfrada da cabeça e para isso já chega o pessoal das sextas feiras. O disparar para todas as direções tem uma explicação simples, ela acha se a melhor, e que se não fosse ela não haveria este torneio, não haveria main events femininos e o wrestling feminino continuaria a não ter importância. Por isso não gosta que agora estejam outras a gozar de uma situação que segundo ela, apenas acontece devido ao seu trabalho. 

 

O UE vs FUSION passou ao lado? Ninguém falou dessa parte, estava à espera que viesses dizer que devia ter posto o Cesaro a ganhar depois de fazer um swing a toda a gente durante 20 minutos e do Ruas a vir reclamar por ter sido o Nakamura a comer o pin.

O combate começa com Asuka a gozar com Mia Yim fazendo referência ao seu rapto dizendo "uhh look out Mia, Finn is gonna take you". Priest começa o combate com vários socos em Reed mas este mantém-se firme na sua posição. Priest vai até às cordas e tenta um Shoulder Tackle mas Reed volta a ficar imóvel. Priest desafia Reed a ir até às cordas e este acerta com um Shoulder Tackle que manda Damian Priest para a outra ponta do ringue. Priest sai do ringue para tentar respirar mas Bronson Reed vai atrás dele. Reed persegue Priest à volta do ringue até Damian Priest voltar a entrar. Reed continua a perseguir Priest mas este consegue apanha-lo enquanto ainda está no apron e acerta com um Big Boot que manda Reed para o chão fora do ringue. Damian Priest vai até às cordas e acerta com um Tope Con Hilo em Reed fora do ringue.

Matt Riddle tenta um German Suplex mas Tyler Breeze consegue cair de pé e acerta com um Enziguri. Breeze vai dominando e consegue mesmo prender um Single Leg Boston Crab. No entanto Riddle consegue chegar às cordas e Breeze é obrigado a libertar a manobra. Breeze não dá tempo a Riddle de recuperar e acerta com um Low Dropkick em cheio no queixo de Matt Riddle! 1 2.. Riddle consegue safar-se mas Breeze mantém a pressão e desta vez consegue prender o Figure Four Sharpshooter! Breeze aplica a manobra durante alguns segundos até Riddle conseguir safar-se. Um bocado confusa essa estipulação do Team Keith vs Team Finn. Diria que em vez de 4 vs 4 vai ser 8 todos contra todos.

No lugar do Finn tentava levar o Kross, Ciampa e o Breeze. Kross e Ciampa para o ajudarem a ganhar e depois dava a hipótese ao Breeze por ser o mais fácil. Dava destaque ao Breeze e criava stress entre o Finn e o Kross para lançar a feud para depois de ele despachar o Breeze.

Não consigo estar interessado nessa feud do CW.

Não esperava o Priest a perder.

O Breeze no main event é um bocado meh?

Óbvio que a Scarlett quer garantir que a oportunidade vai para o Kross, assim pode é tornar-se complicado para o Finn convencer alguém a juntar-se a ele, porque não têm nada a ganhar, além do spotlight do combate.

É certo que o show foi muito à volta dos Wargames, mas é chato ter um show em que só apareceu um dos campeões, e nem houve nenhum segmento relativo ao título feminino nem de tag team.

E também foi por isso que fiz uma equipa toda babyface em que a maioria (tirando o Dream) não é egoísta e percebe que isto é a oportunidade do Keith.

Não havia mais ninguém. Ainda pensei no Ciampa (mas está com o Kross e não fazia sentido), no Killian Dain (mais ainda temos menos tv time que o Breeze). Optei por alguém que até tem tido algum destaque e não alguém a aparecer outta nowhere. Até porque o Riddle ia ganhar e assim serve para mostrar que o Breeze consegue aguentar-se com ele.

Epah sendo que vai ser um 4x4 nos WarGames queria uma team face contra uma team heel. Não fazia muito sentido de repente o Priest estar na mesma equipa que o Riddle quando andaram a feudar durante meses pelo NA.

A ideia é mesmo mostrar que o Breeze consegue aguentar-se no ringue com os melhores mas que ainda lhe falta um bocado para chegar ao nível deles.

Se o Cameron Grimes pode ter combates renhidos porque não o Breeze? Nenhum deles foi campeão de nada, nenhum deles faz grande coisa nos shows. Há que começar a encurtar o gap dos main eventers para os outros ou dos low midcarders para os midcarders.

Se não fizer nada para mudar isso não vale a pena andar a queixar-me da falta de profundidade do meu roster.

I meditated on what’s next for the Liturgy, because you know me, I always thinking of the greater good of the Liturgy and, therefore, of the WWE Universe.

Everybody is quite confused by Seth’s rambling. He goes on.

(Everybody is even more confused at this point) Now Murphy you will declare an open challenge for the US title, I am going to volunteer, Chioda here is gonna start the match officially, and you’ll lay there perfectly still, and received the cover from your Messiah, and the greater good of the Liturgy is gonna be served.

Murphy (in utter shock) – I…I…I mean, I… but Seth I win this title, I had the effort to bring…

Seth – ‘I’ ‘I’ ‘I’ ‘I’…there’s too many ‘I’s’ in your discourse, not enough “we”. WE are a collective, remember? And you stated yourself that you’d win – as you did – that title for the Liturgy’s sake, for ‘us’, the collective. And the collective needs a strengthened Messiah in order to thrive, now that SmackDown is becoming dangerously overpopulated with Stables. And the Messiah will only be strong – and therefore our collective – if the Messiah holds a title. Are you going to deny me, deny us??? (Murphy is confused, the others approach him menacingly. The crowd pleads to him “No, No, No”) Are you going to put yourself before the Liturgy?

Murphy hesitates for a while. The crowd is desperately trying to sway him not to do it, but the coercion is too much. He complies. Lays down, the referee starts the march officially and then Seth Rollins moves in for the very predictable and appalling cover, 1, 2, 3. Seth Rollins is the new United States Champion!

M. Cole – What a nauseating moment we had to watch, Paige.

Paige – I agree, Cole. It’s just disgusting that Murphy even had the nerve to hesitate instead of immediately obeying our Messiah at once!

K. Angle – Hold your horses guys! Now, I like that idea of the New Day going for another title match. However (the crowd is popping) However, I must agree with the Champs here. You can’t just barge in and say “we want a title shot” and expect it to be handed to you. I tell you what I’ll do. Earlier I talked to Carlito and the Colons also want another title shot. So you’ll go against them tonight and the winners are the new number one contenders.

Dakota and Kairi start the match and the Japanese dominates the New Zealander with a Marine Spike, and a Interceptor, cover, 1, 2, Raquel interrupts the crowd. Asuka enters the ring to confront the invading Gonzalez, but the 6-footer just pommels the champion with a powerful big boot. Kai is ecstatic “Yeah, ‘Quels, just punish her good so she flops at the Tournament”. Raquel reacts with a certain disdain. Dakota then goes for a facewash, and a another, but Asuka goes there and tags herself in just as Dakotas lands the seconds Kick, so she can’t pin her partner.

As she sees that Asuka is legal she goes for her corner and asks Raquel Gonzalez to tag in. Raquel extends her hand for the tag, but then Kai says “Ya know, to cripple her for the Tournament”. Raquel, angry, retorts “The Tournament???? The freaking Tournament???”. She pulls her arm off, drops down from the apron. Kai is in a stupor “What??”. Asuka is surprised but seizes the moment and applies the Asuka lock. Raquel is retreating to the back, as Dakota pleads with her. She stops, turns around, gets a good look at her partner and turns back and retreats for good. Not long after, Kai taps out. The Kabuki Warriors retain.

M. Cole – And we’re back, and now, Universal Champion John Cena is going to face one member of the Rebellious Bunch, and as promised, he must defeat him twice in ten minutes, or CM Punk gets a title shot.

Paige – Michael, it’s against Eric Young. Cena is going to win 4 times in 10 minutes.

A random punk rock theme comes up, it’s the Rebellious Bunch official theme, CM Punk, Gargano and Eric Young enter. Then

ABADOOOOOO The Champ is Heeeeere. nWo John Cena enters accompanied by is neverending Wretched oath partner, Mojo Macabre.

Right off the gate John Cena clotheslines Young to the mat, then performs four straight flying shoulder tackles off the ropes, deliver the 5 knuckle shuffle, covers, 1, 2, 3. One pinfall in under a minute. Cena gets cocky, he stars flexing his muscles, taunting the crowd, picking fight with the other members of the Rebellious Bunch and Eric Young connects with a backbreaker and a front missile dropkick. He covers, Cena kicks out at 1. Eric then applies a figure 4 leglock. Cena is in trouble, he stays under the hold for over a minute, Mojo Macabre is trying to enter the Ring, but is met by a Pepsi Twist by CM Punk, and Gargano spikes him in a DDT. Cena takes advantage of the commotion to kick Eric Young in the nether regions to break the hold, He then connects with an Attitude Adjustment, cover, 1, 2, 3. The clock marks 8,45m into the match as Cena delivers on his promise for yet another week.

M. Cole – Welcome back, you heard it earlier, GM Kurt Angle scheduled this match to determine the n. 1 Contenders for the tag titles, the New Day are already on the ring throwing pancakes at the crowd, Paige.

Paige - And now the Colóns enter and… Cole, are they throwing apples at the crowd?

M. Cole – They’re handing apples to the crowd, Paige, that’s hardly a throw.

Epico and Woods start the match, they lockup and show their amazing agility and quickness with a number of moves over the first few minutes of the match, but no one gets the upper hand. Then Primo is Tagged in and Kofi as well, and Kofi immediately connects with a pendulum kick, then a summersault plancha. Cover, 1, 2, Primo kicks out.

On the outside, Carlito sees his familia losing their grip on the match and opens his backpack, He takes out a coconut, looks at the ring, then at the crowd, shakes his head as if negating this option, and takes out an apple, the crowd doesn’t react that negatively to it, even show some humor, so he goes on. But Cedric Alexander spots it and warns the referee, who expels Carlito. On the ring Kofi Kingston domination of the match pays off and he gets a Trouble in Paradise, he goes for the cover, 1, 2,....

But just as he was getting the win, Akam and Rezar enter the ring area and pull the referee away. They attack every intervenient in the match, spurred on by Seth Rollins who is on the rampway attacking Carlito and yelling at the back. It was at Murphy who is lagging behind the rest of the group, incurring in the wrath of the Messiah, who yells at him.

Then, former tag champs Bray Wyatt and Bo Mulligan sprint down the ramp as well, and attack Seth Rollins straight away from behind, flooring the Messiah, and a full-on brawl emerges. Security come in to separate all those men, and the match ends with a no contest.

Roman Reigns enters the stage. Some pop erupts, but other sections of the crowd reveal a colder reaction.

Roman Reigns – I have to get some things off my chest. Let me just start by saying that this is who I am. I’ a nice guy, I play by the rules, I like pleasing young fans and visiting the when they’re sick, maybe that’s corny, maybe that’s not what many of you want out of me, but this is me and I won’t change no matter how much you guys want me too. So, being Squeaky Clean is who I am, who I always been, and always will be and that’s why I’ve joined the Squeaky Clean Squad, and that’s why I won’t turn back even though many folks have reproached me. So you’re welcome to hate me, you’re welcome to change the channel, but you are not welcome to change me.

The Commonwealth of Nation enter to the RULE BRITANNIA hymn. The King himself speaks.

Corbin (in a very fake british accent) – Yada, yada, what a load of bollocks. “Look at me, I’m Roman Reigns and I’m so nice”. That’s as fake as…

Roman Reigns – As that accent of yours? (Corbin gets mad) Oh did I hurt you? Why don’t you come inside the ring and get even?

Lord Barrett (holding the King back) – Surely…Surely a classless peasant like you isn’t expecting to just show up and fight the Ruler of SmackDown? If I may, your Highness, maybe this wanker may fight some other member of your Noble Counsel and if, and only if, he does win, maybe then he gets a match with you? (Corbin agrees; Earl Roode steps up to the challenge)

Roode is accompanied by his stablemates yet Roman is alone. Roode gets an upper hand in the early goings of the bout and traps a fujiwara armbar. Roman eventually breaks the hold but is met by a Pumphandle slam, Roode covers, 1, 2, Roman kicks out. Roode tries again but Roman counters with a Short arm Lariat, and a Single arm DDT. He goes for the cover, but Maverick and Gallagher enter the ring. Before the referee can react to that intrusion, Roman has already speared them both and tossed them out of the ring, to the absolute jubilation of the crowd.

Roode gets up and goes for a swinging neckbreaker, cover, 1, 2, Roman kicks out. He ducks a clothesline and connects with a Superman Punch, Roode turns around and his swept by a spear. But before Roman can cover, Quade and Barrett are entering the ring. This time the referee catches the intrusion and admonishes that it’ll cause Roode’s disqualification, so they get out. But Roode seizes the moment to hit Roman with a lowblow. He goes for the Glorious DDT. Cover, 1, 2, Roman kicks out. Amazingly. Everybody in the arena is surprised. Roode tries another Glorious DDT, but Roman counters with a Scoop powerslam, and finally hits another Spear, cover, 1, 2, 3. Roman Reigns won this and he points to Corbin with menace. But Corbin responds by ordering his minions to gang up on Reigns, which they do.

This prompts the Squeaky Clean Squad to make a run in to save their leader. The brawl comes to a standstill.

But then, the Whopping Oversized Wallops make a run in of they’re own and they got right at the Commonwealth of Nations. The brawl descends into to chaos.

And through this chaos, RTruth emerges from the crowd, covers a fallen Tony Nese, 1, 2, 3, he is the new 24/7 Champion, and runs up the ramp closely followed both The Gronk and Vin Quade, former 24/7 Champions who want the gold back.

But out comes Megalith who connects with a double running clothesline that floors Gronk and Quade, and then focus on RTruth, hits his Standing stone, covers, a ref counts, 1, 2, 3. Megalith takes advantage of the ongoing chaos to recapture the 24/7 Championship.

The chaos has gone down for long enough and GM Kurt Angle comes out heading an army of security, looking totally furious.

K. Angle – ENOUGHHHHH GADDAMIT STOP THIS MADNESSS!! (Catches his breath). I’m through!! I’m flipping through with this! Every day, the same thing, factions on top of factions, attacks, brawls, run ins! That does it for me.

The crowd are still reeling from the brawl and the fact that some think GM Kurt Angle just dropped an f-word live on national tv.

K. Angle – Now, I am going to evaluate the current state of SmackDown, with all these freaking Stables, and take some measures to deal with that, don’t you go thinking this chaos is going to be allowed to endure, I have a freaking Wrestling tv show to run here, not a madhouse of rambling punching idiots like some MMA program. But for now, I’m deciding this: It’s Survivor Series season, we need to get a team to represent SmackDown, you like teams? you like to fight? Ok then, next week these 3 factions will fight it out and the winner will represent SmackDown at Survivor Series. Net get the hell out of my ring. ALL OF YOU!!!

M. Cole – It’s time for our main event of the evening, a match already counting for the astounding Queen of the Ring Tournament. It’s SmackDown’s own, Nikki Cross, and we very proudly host NXT’s Bianca Belair.

Paige – What’s the doubt even? One is a perfect athlete, the strongest, the fastest, the EST of NXT, a former world champ, and the other…well, it’s just an one-eyed overweight Scotswoman.

M. Cole – Sometimes, Paige, I’m really repulsed in sharing this table with you… the things you say.

Paige – Oh excuse me, Michael, but is it a lie that Bianca is a former NXT Champion? I didn’t think so. Now Shut up let us enjoy the squash.

Queen of the Ring Tournament - 1st round

Bianca enters with her regular confidence, she grabs a camera and goes “Hey FOX viewers, The EST of NXT is taking over your TV”. Nikki Cross enters to a huge pop from the crowd. Bianca applauds with a certain disdain, as Nikki, electrifies the crowd and garners their support, Bianca then shoves her and does some theatrics that she expects will land her the crowd support. It falls a bit flat. Nikki comments “Thess is not NXT, Bionca, thes is mee craud! Lyook” She performers some theatrics and the crowd rejoice. Bianca utters a “Okay, okay then”, Nikki responds “See? I told” but she doesn’t get the chance to finish her sentence as she is hit by Belair with a sucker punch to start hostilities. Nikki falls down and Belair goes behind her and applies a seated double chickenwing hold to wear Cross down. Cross breaks the hold and dropkicks Bianca, she then applies a submission move of her own, the Double Underhook Crossface.

Bianca breaks the hold and connects with a Fallaway Powerbomb and a Military Press toss. She goes for a cover, 1, 2, Cross kicks out. Belair essays a Double Chickenwing Facebuster, but Nikki resists and monkey flips Belair, Belair gets up, a little shook, but tries to maintain composure, like’s she’s unaffected and performs her usual theatrics and flexing her muscles and wave her braid around. Inadvertly the braid hits the referee right in the eyes, and he’s momentarily blinded, just as Nikki Cross goes for Spear of Scotland. Connects, she goes for the cover; the referee is getting some water applied to his eye, and doesn’t move on to the count. Nikki asks for another referee, Bianca gets up but is caught by a second Spear of Scotland, but still no referee to take charge of the match. Then a female referee runs down the ramp, she gets in the ring, counts the pin, 1, 2, but she stops, suddenly we realize, it’s not a referee, it’s Alexa Bliss in a referee’s garment.

Nikki realizes this as well, but too late she is already being splattered by Bliss, who drags her outside and shoves her against the steel steps and the barricades, then applies a BackStabber. Alexa is proud of her, motions to Bianca, who is recovering, and says “She’s all yours” and turns to leave. But Bianca, surprisingly doesn’t advance towards Nikki Cross, but rather to Bliss herself, she grabs her by a shoulder and states “Gurl, hun, hun, not on my ring!” and hits Alexa with a Belair Driver right on the concrete floor. She returns to the ring, by this time both the referee and Cross have recovered, but Nikki is aching, she tries another spear in desperation, but Belair manages to evade the move, performs a delayed vertical suplex then picks up Nikki Cross, K.O.D, cover, 1, 2, 3. Bianca Belair is moving through the Queen of the Ring tournament!

Qual é exatamente a motivação da Sasha para agora não querer defender o título? Ainda não percebi.

ahahah fuck Murphy, caguei para ele. Se fizesse isso há uns meses ainda engolia, mas agora a meio de um face turn? Que fraco.

A Rhea tem que passar das jobbers. Essas duas andam a ser destruídas por ela e pela Jordynne há mais de um mês.

As Kabukis passaram do not deserving para open challenges muito depressa.

A ideia é que a Dakota seja egoísta por ignorar a equipa e querer ser Queen of the Ring? É que a ideia que está a passar para mim é que a Raquel é que é a egoísta.

Posso dizer que irl devo ter sido sempre um dos maiores fãs do Roman, e sempre o apoiei mesmo quando era o gajo mais odiado no wrestling. Mas este Roman? 🤮 Essa promo dele foi simplesmente horrível, e garanto-te a 100% que o Corbin que cuspiu na bandeira americana há uns meses foi apoiado pela crowd quando interrompeu. Larga esse angle ASAP, que é pior do que ter o Kurt a aparecer 1500 vezes por show.

Nem o Murphy é tão burro nem o Seth (sendo dos melhores) precisa disso para nada.

Não é a vencer jobbers ou desconhecidas que a Rhea ganha créditos enfrentar a Sasha.

Também não percebo a cena das Kabuki. Primeiro não defendiam os títulos porque ninguém merecia, agora até oferecem combates pelos títulos.

Para quem criticava a forma como eu fazia o Keith Lee falar conseguiste fazer ainda pior com o Roman. Nem IRL ele era tão corny.

A Bianca não precisava dessa ajuda toda da Alexa para vencer a Nikki. Eu percebo que seja a feud que tens, mas só o facto da Alexa ser a ref ia distrair a Nikki e a Bianca aproveitava. Assim parece só uma heel fraca que teve que ser ajudada para vencer.

E continuam os shows mega longos. Já desisti dessa luta.

IRL, aqui no nosso mundo não é relevante, é como se não existisse, portanto não me preocupa muito a comparação. Mas repara que irl eles escaf*deram a stable, por isso seria natural que o turn do Murphy ao Seth tivesse de ser apressado e espoletado por qlqr coisa. Aqui, a stable dos Messiah vai de vento e popa, ele sentiu ali a peer pressure.

Não é uma questão de ser burro, é uma questão de alternativa. Dizia que não e ficava sozinho, num habitat e que toda a gente está em stable, ou seja, nem aparecria no programa. Ele sabe disso e amochou. Mas a história ainda nem a meio vai.

Quanto ao Seth precisa sim. Isto é ser heel em ultimo grau. tirar glórias até dos teus amigos. Fica com um heat do pau!

epá, mas quero fazer suqashes e é para isso que estão cá as jobbers. IRL a WWE traz uns nameless wreslters e pronto, aqui não fazemos isso, pomos o under card a ser cannon fodder. Podia fazer isto com uma Candice ou uma Deonna? Podia. Mas f*dia-as para o futuro. Ponderando as duas coisas, prefiro fazer segmentos menos relevantes de squashes evidentes que não estimulam muito, do que trucidar a credibilidade futura de mid carders que podem a médio prazo serem pushadas para outra coisa.

então desuclpa mas estás a perceber ao contrário. Uma inscreve-se à revelia da parceira no QotR, e num combate pelos titulos de equipas só está interessada no seu futuro no QotR, e não no combate em si e nos títulos. Acho normal que a Raquel diga "ah é? então combate tu" e pegue nas coisas. Olha, teve a espinha dorsal que o Murphy não teve. Mas tb as circunstâncias da women's division não são as mesmas do men's division.

epá, a Bianca é tua e portanto a tua crítica é sempre de relevar, mas acho que não foi bem isso, ou pelo menos eu não pensei isso. Aliás, nem ela foi heel, porque tendo a Nikki ali à mão de semear, foi antes de tudo exercer vingança sobre a Alexa, tipo numa de "hun hun, nºao aceito cá ajudas para ganhar sua cabra". eu por acaso estava À espera de que ficasse ainda maior, pq prái metade do programa desta semana era para ter acontecido na semana passada (mas depois tive de fazer os quatro combates de acesso ao QotR). Acabou até por não ficar muito maior que o titpico progrma. Em escreito no word só teve um parágrafo a mais.

Mas os meus programs paracem maiores pq eu invisto muito na inserção de imagens e acaba por acrescentar tamanho no post aqui. E neste como teve esse fandango todo de intervenções de toda a gente e um par de botas em dpois combates, aqui ficou muito maior do que estava no documento do Word.
