Até fui ver, a última vez que passamos a 1st round foi em 2008/09, e aí tinhamos Artest, Yao Ming, Mcgrady, Scola :lol: Apesar de termos tido lesões para cacete nesse ano.

 

Honestamente, este ano acho que somos bem capazes de chegar à 2nd round, ou até à final de conferência, dependendo do adversário. Mas também não vejo o Durant como solução para o tão desejado título.

Falando de tempo actuais, Memphis já não deve deixar fugir a vitória. O Gasol está a fazer um jogão e está a um ressalto do double-double.

não sei, nada li nesse sentido.

 

com o regresso do mcbob era expectavel que perdesse minutos na rotação, não estava à espera era que saísse totalmente dela.

 

verdade seja dita, não iria resolver nada nem acrescentar muito mais do que aquilo que o shawne e o mcbob oferecem.

 

edit: falhou 6 jogos por lesão, regressou contra os clippers. pode estar relacionado.

Injuries cloud Bulls' lineup, but Pau Gasol, Derrick Rose may return

 

Typically, the Bulls’ injury situation is such that who is available needs to be determined.

 

On Sunday, befitting the early-season woes that have plagued the seemingly snakebit franchise of late, who actually was present had to be figured.

 

The Bulls sent Taj Gibson back to Chicago to have the left ankle he now has sprained three times in seven months examined by team physician Brian Cole. Gibson will miss the back-to-back set of games beginning Monday in Utah at least, and coach Tom Thibodeau said Cole would determine whether Gibson would rejoin the team by Friday’s matinee in Boston.

 

Given that Gibson made clear late Friday that he needs to put the nagging injury behind him for good before returning, missing the remainder of the trip is likely.

 

“The encouraging thing is there was not much swelling,” Thibodeau said.

 

There were more encouraging developments. Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol both participated in Sunday’s session at the Trail Blazers’ practice facility. Gasol said chances are “pretty high” he’ll return from missing three games with a strained left calf on Monday.

 

Kirk Hinrich, who missed Friday’s loss to the Trail Blazers with bruised ribs and a chest contusion, did limited portions of practice but is doubtful for Monday.

 

Rose, who is questionable for Monday, has missed four straight games with his strained left hamstring and eight of 13 games overall. He has finished only three games all season because he left the Oct. 31 home opener against the Cavaliers early after spraining both ankles and followed suit on Nov. 13 in Toronto with his hamstring injury.

 

That Toronto game marked only the second the starting five of Gasol, Rose, Jimmy Butler, Mike Dunleavy and Joakim Noah has started. Rose’s departure means the Bulls’ regular lineup has finished only one game all season.

 

“Whatever the circumstances are, we’re going to make the best of those,” Thibodeau said. “Hopefully, Derrick will get to a point where he can string some games together. And when that happens, the rust will come off. From what we’ve seen thus far when he’s been out there, he has looked great. We just have to get him out there.”

 

Gasol has cited the Bulls’ resiliency in overcoming injuries in recent seasons as one part of his free-agency decision last summer. Now, he’s living it firsthand and said the same dynamic remains intact.

 

“Injuries are part of the game,” Gasol said. “I don’t think anybody is frustrated at this point, but we are facing adversity as far as guys not being able to go. It’s hard to get the full roster healthy at the same time. Once we get it, it will be great.”

 

Reminded that the first time that happened, the Bulls scored 60 first-half points on Nov. 10 against Detroit, Gasol smiled.

 

“Nice, nice,” he said. “So it’s promising. Now we just got to get it there, right?”

 

Layups: If Rose and Hinrich sit again, E’Twaun Moore, whom Thibodeau praised, would back up Aaron Brooks again. “I played all right for my first game,” Moore said of his nine-point, four-rebound, three-assist effort on Friday. “The more you play, the more you feel the game and better you get.” ... Noah on Nikola Mirotic: “He’s a difference-maker at the offensive end.”
