All three players are out of contract after Sunday's final game of the season, against Everton. Carr played 107 games sincs joining Newcastle in 2004 from Tottenham, Ramage made 68 appearances, while Troisi was only ever named on the bench.

O avançado internacional mexicano Omar Bravo vai jogar pelo Deportivo da Corunha na próxima época. Villarreal contrata Edmilson

O Villarreal anunciou esta sexta-feira a contratação por duas temporadas de Edmilson, internacional brasileiro que estava em final de contrato com o Barcelona.

 

O médio, de 31 anos, representou o clube catalão nas últimas quatro épocas, depois de ter actuado no Lyon durante igual período.

 

A época agora finda não correu de feição a Edmilson, pouco utilizado por Frank Rijkaard e acusado de falta de profissionalismo.

O médio francês do Arsenal, Mathieu Flamini, está em vias de se vincular ao AC Milan para as próximas cinco temporadas.

 

De acordo com o diário italiano Gazzetta dello Sport, o jogador, de 24 anos, vai vincular-se aos «rossoneri» até 2013, a troco de quatro milhões de euros por época.

 

Em final de contrato com o Arsenal, Flamini poderá trocar o clube londrino pelo italiano a «custo zero».

O internacional italiano Amelia não queria ficar no Livorno, que foi relegado para a Série B, pelo que aceitou o convite do Palermo. O jogador deverá ainda esta semana assinar pelo novo clube, numa transferência cujo valor não foi revelado, mas que deverá rondar os cinco milhões de euros.
