All Out 2019 Saturday, August 31 Sears Center, Chicago, Illinois Attendance: 11800 (SOLD OUT!) Welcome to our 2nd review of an AEW event and boy, what a goddamn show! We start of with Excalibur, Taz and Tony selling the PPV and running down the card and once again, we go straight into the action. Match 1:Perros del Mal vs The Astronauts vs The Hybrid2 vs Everett & Lee It seems like Tony Khan and AEW want to do it’s to have an international feel to their roster and to have a great tag team division. And this one was a perfect example of that. The Astronauts and Perros del Mal are mainstays in smaller indie companies, sure, but far from household names and while Angélico and Jack are bigger names due to their Lucha Underground exposure, Everett and Lee are somewhat of cult icons. All in all, an extremely solid opening match, full of action, that ends when Angélico picks up the win. Winners: The Hybrid2 (73) Match 2 :SoCal Uncensored (Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) vs FireFox (Myron Reed and AR Fox) Interesting that AEW is recognizing other titles, since Scorpio came out with his newly won ROH World Title. Reed and Fox have been making waves in the Chicago area, with Fox being somewhat of an independent darling, someone that you can count on to have good matches with everyone. He also had a very solid run in Lucha Underground, including a great match against Shane Strickland. But this one was all about SCU, who performed very well and despite the match not being as good as the opener, still a very enjoyable contest, with Sky picking up the win for his team. Winners: SCU (70) Match 3 :Cody vs Darby Allin And once again, AEW recognizing other companies, with Darby Allin, who has become very well respected in the industry, coming out for this match with the PWG World Title. Somewhat of a star-making performance here for Darby, with Cody giving him a lot of offense, but still coming up short, as Cody picks up the win with the Cross Rhodes. Winner: Cody (75) Match 4:Qualifying Match for the AEW Women’s World Title Match Meiko Satomura vs Chelsea Green vs Thunder Rosa vs LuFisto This match suffered because of one thing: general lack of recognition from the crowd, even from this more knowledgeable fanbase. The biggest story of this match was Meiko coming out with Prince Nana, which planted her solidly as a heel. The other 3 wrestlers performed pretty well too, but it was Meiko that shined and picked up the win, punching her ticket for a World Title Match at Dynamite. Winner: Meiko Satomura (54) Prince Nana did not even leave ringside, as Black Lotus made their way to the ring. After around a minute of waiting, Evie and Nixon Newell appear, making it clear that Team Kick has joined AEW! Match 5: Black Lotus vs Team Kick Kairi and Io are just superstars man. They have the look, they have the skills, they have the charisma. Not to say that Evie and Nixon are bad, not at all. As a matter of fact, they performed pretty well here, in a somewhat classic joshi big time tag team match. But when you are in the ring with Kairi and Io, they are going to outshine you. And it feels like Tony Khan understands that because, while the easy thing would be to give the debuting team the win, it ends up being Kairi Hoje that picks up the win for her team. Great little match here. Winners: Black Lotus (78) Match 6:Qualifying Match for the AEW Women’s World Title Match Riho vs Hikaru Shida vs Jordynne Grace vs Amazing Kong When was the last time that there have been 3 women’s matches back to back to back in an American PPV featuring both men and women? This one suffered from the same faith as the previous 4 way match, with this time Kong being the clear draw of the match. And while she is one of the biggest names that they have in the division, heel v heel to crown the first ever champion does not make any sense and she actually ate the pin, with Riho being the one to face off against Meiko at Dynamite. Winner: Riho (55) Match 7: The Elite vs PAC and Lucha Brothers Remember when I said that Ricochet, T-Hawk, CIMA and SCU had a great Dragon Gate type match at Double or Nothing? Forget about that. This one was a near perfect blend of american independent style, Lucharesu and Strong Style. Almost 23 minutes of absolute non stop action, one of the best trios matches that I have ever seen outside of Mexico or Dragon Gate. Kenny ends up pinning Penta with the One Winged Angel in a match that at any other PPV, would have been MOTN. Winners: The Elite The big story, however, came after the match when, once again, Jon Moxley attacked Kenny Omega. The Bucks tried to interfere but Kenny stopped them, and they end up having a brawl all over the arena, with Kenny ending up taking a Spike DDT on a glass table! Awesome stuff. Then a strange video package played, with freaking Evil Uno of all people talking. He gave a “cultish” sort of vibe, telling everyone that their lives could be improved if they just joined the Dark Order. Match 8: Bryan Danielson vs WALTER WALTER had a very good match against Okada at All In. He had an amazing match here tonight against Danielson. These 2 had amazing chemistry and if you ever wondered how Danielson v Morishima (one of my favorite matches ever) would look like in 2019, this is that match. It might even be better. For 30 minutes, these guys just threw bombs at each other. Despite Danielson being Danielson, it felt like he was always on the back foot and just barely surviving. With him finally being able to lock in the LeBell Lock on WALTER, the bell rang and the match went to a time limit draw. Go watch this match right now. Winner: Draw due to 30 minute time limit (98) Match 9: AEW Men’s World Title Chris Jericho vs “Hangman” Adam Page And here we go. Another amazing match. After the war that was Danielson v WALTER, this was much more of a classic southern style match. Jericho had a lot of control but Adam Page, who seems to have a real connection with the AEW crowd, kept on fighting. Jericho used his experience and technical ability to repeatedly halt Hangman’s momentum but he kept being spurred on by the crowd. The closing segment was amazingly well done: Hangman hits a Dead Eye and sets up for the Buckshot Lariat. But Jericho is just slightly out of range and with Page having to make the smallest of adjustments, that allows Jericho to hit the Judas Effect for the clean win, the pinfall and the title win. Winner: Chris Jericho (NEW AEW Men’s World Champion) (98) Overall review: if this PPV had stopped at the Trios Match, it would be one of the shows of the year. But then they had back to back MOTYC, in completely different styles. One was a war, with the smaller guy just throwing bomb after bomb but just failing short of bringing the monster down. The other was a classic face v heel, experience v youth match. If this is the level that they are bringing to their events, we are about to be treated exceptionally well. My current pick for show of the year and it’s not even close at this moment. Rating: 98

All Out Buy In TS - Welcome everyone to the Buy In Pre Show for All Out. My name is Tony Schiavone and I am being joined here by my broadcast partner Excalibut. And Excalibur, what a night of action we have here for our fans! EX- Without a doubt Tony. Tonight marks a monumental night for All Elite Wrestling, with the crowing of our first ever AEW Men’s World Champion! TS- That will be a huge Main Event without a doubt, but let’s take these a step at a time. To start off the action, we will have a tag team division exhibition match with repercussions towards the Tag Title Tournament that will start in a couple of weeks on Dynamite! EX- We have already talked about The Hybrid2 during our Double or Nothing Buy In Show. Facing them will be Perros del Mal, one of the top tag teams in the Mexican independent scene, The Astronauts, an exciting up and coming team from the Japanese scene and Everett & Lee, perhaps the most underrated tag team in the United States at the moment. TS- Also on a tag team exhibition match, the team of Frankie Kazarian and new Ring of Honor World Champion, Scorpio Sky, will be taking on the duo of Myron Reed and AR Fox, known as FireFox. EX- We all know the quality and ability of Kazarian and Scorpio Sky, but Reed and Fox are not to be discounted. They are one of the most exciting teams going on today. TS- We will also have two exciting four way matches, with the winners of those matches going on to crown the first ever AEW Women’s World Champion next Wednesday, on the premiere episode of Dynamite! In the first match, we will see Hikaru Shida, Riho, Jordynne Grace and Amazing Kong battle it out! EX- And on the second one of those contests, we get to see the debuting Meiko Satomura, a certified legend, taking on Chelsea Green, Thunder Rosa and an independent wrestling icon, LuFisto! TS- Any predictions here partner? EX- Well, looking at the matches, you cannot look past the skill and size of Kong. And of course, in the other match, gotta go with the experience of Meiko Satomura. TS- Moving on to the last match on the Women’s Division, Kairi Hojo and Io Shirai, also known as Black Lotus, will face some mystery opponents! EX- This match was scheduled by the owner of All Elite Wrestling, Tony Khan. He said that he wants to bring the best tag divisions in the world to AEW, being them Men’s and Women’s. And he is particularly excited about the new signings that will debut here, tonight, on the Sears Center. TS- Now let’s move to trios action! The Elite are one of the best trios in the world, with a chemistry that is unrivaled. But tonight, they will take on some mighty foes, won’t they Excalibur? EX- Indeed they are. Across the ring from them will be PAC and the Lucha Brothers. At Double or Nothing, the Bucks and the Lucha Brothers brought us one of the best tag team matches that I have had the pleasure of calling. And PAC is always a threat, especially after losing his match last PPV against Adam Page. TS- And now, finally, let’s move to the singles encounters. First off, we have the answer to an open challenge issued by Cody on BTE. EX- Yes. Cody issued an open challenge to any independent wrestler in the world to face him here at All Out. And the answer was swift and momentous. The current PWG World Champion, Darby Allin, accepted the challenge and they will square off right here in Chicago. TS- From a match based all around respect, we move to something a little bit more personal. Bryan Danielson ticked off something in his bucket list when he faced Blue Panther in a match at Double or Nothing. But after the match… EX- After the match, he was completely destroyed by the Ring General WALTER! In one of the most sickening attacks that I have ever seen, the Austrian Brute attacked not only Danielson, but one of his heroes, Blue Panther. And so, this match was set for tonight, and I hope that Bryan kicks WALTER’s ass. TS- Wow, getting a little biased there partner. EX- As much as I respect WALTER’s ability, the way that he conducted his business at Double or Nothing did not leave me happy at all. TS- To end the show, the biggest match in the short history of AEW. Chris Jericho, “Hangman” Adam Page, the AEW Men’s World Title. EX- This one is for all the marbles Tony. On one hand, you have one of the most respected wrestlers in the history of the sport. Almost 30 years in wrestling, with experience all over the world. On the other hand, the young gun slinger. Despite his young age, already 11 years of in ring experience and the man with a promise to become the 1st ever AEW Men’s World Champion. This one will be a match to remember. TS- Without a doubt! Fans, don’t forget to order the Pay Per View and don’t forget that starting next Wednesday, wrestling is back on Turner, with the debut broadcast of Dynamite, on Prime Time, on TNT! I was Tony Schiavone and alongside me was Excalibur, we are just moments away from All Out! All Out Card Perros del Mal vs The Astronauts vs The Hybrid2 vs Everett & Lee Qualifying Match for the AEW Women’s World Title Match Riho vs Hikaru Shida vs Jordynne Grace vs Amazing Kong Qualifying Match for the AEW Women’s World Title Match Meiko Satomura vs Chelsea Green vs Thunder Rosa vs LuFisto SCU (Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) vs FireFox The Elite vs PAC and The Lucha Brothers Black Lotus w/ Prince Nana vs Two Debuting Wrestlers Cody vs Darby Allin Bryan Danielson vs WALTER AEW Men’s World Title Chris Jericho vs “Hangman” Adam Page

May Double or Nothing is being considered a huge success for AEW, both critically and commercially. Early reports have the PPV buys at around 130k and people are calling it the best American PPV in years. Of course the biggest stories coming out of the event are the wrestlers jumping ship from WWE to AEW. Sara del Ray spent some years as the main female trainer down in NXT but it appears that she joined AEW to be an in-ring talent. Ricochet, when he joined WWE, was one of the hottest wrestlers in the world with his Lucha Underground work, but he felt like his momentum had stalled. Of course that the biggest name jumping was Jon Moxley. A former WWE Champion and a third of perhaps the most successful faction that WWE has ever produced, Mox’s gripes with WWE came down to creative. He felt like he could be used a lot differently and the main brass disagreed. WWE resignings: No Way José, Sonya Deville, Mark Henry, Travis Banks, Pete Dunne, Percy Watson. Lacey Evans, Charly Caruso, Wolfgang, Nikki Cross, Peyton Royce, Danny Burch, Jamie Noble, Tom Phillips, Tyler Bate. A pop podes ver no size.

Welcome to our review of AEW Double or Nothing! We will be following their upcoming shows and if they do get that TV deal, talking about those as well in here. We are welcomed by Excalibur, Taz and Tony Schiavone, who run down the card and throw to the ring for our first match. Match 1: Hikaru Shida and Riho vs Black Lotus Great action to start off the PPV, Io and Hojo were working heel, which surprises nobody since they are being managed by Nana. Shida and Riho were pretty unknown by the audience here, but these 4 worked a match that would not look out of place main eventing a big Stardom show. Incredibly fast-paced action and Black Lotus pick up the win at around 16 minutes. Winners: Black Lotus (80) Match 2: Best Friends vs Lucha Express vs The Hybrid2 vs Hostile Intent A perfectly acceptable PWG style multi man tag match, Hybrid2 and Best Friends came out of this looking like possible contenders for the future AEW World Tag Team Titles. Homicide and Low-Ki delivered their usual style of offence, but you can tell that Homice is not the same guy that he was 10 years ago, when he was in his prime. Jack Perry and Luchasaurus worked pretty well as a big - small tag team, but they are still pretty green. The end of the match came down to Best Friends and The Hybrid2, with Trent picking up the pinfall over Angélico. Winners: Best Friends (67) Match 3: Canadian NINJAS and Cheerleader Melissa vs Bea Priestley, Britt Baker and Chelsea Green. As someone that loved the NINJAS back in Shimmer, it’s still crazy to me that they are being given this kind of a spotlight, and that they are delivering as well. Nicole looks great and Portia, after her retirement, looks as good as she ever looked. On the face side, it’s clear that they are booking Bea as a future star, since she was the one that had the hot tag. In the end though, it was to no avail with Melisse beating her in around 17 minutes. Winners: Cheerleader Melissa and Canadian NINJAS (65) Portia, Nicole and Melissa keep beating up the faces when Sara del Ray comes out for the save! She helps the good girls fight them off when, out of nothing, she attacks Bea! A quick swerve here, but holy shit, is Sara del Ray unretiring here? She ends up raising the arms of Portia, Nicole and Melissa and appears to be joining forces with them! Match 4: Bryan Danielson vs Blue Panther Commentary told us that Blue Panther got special permission for this match to wear his mask once again, which was a cool touch and addition to this one. Him and Bryan worked pretty much a classic “llaves” match, with the action being focused on holds and counter-hods. Even after Bryan hyped this up as a dream match for himself, the crowd did not appear to care that much at the beginning but by the end, they were totally bought into it. Bryan, of course, picks up the win after 20 minutes, but if you are a technical wrestling fan, you have to check this one out. Winner: Bryan Danielson (82) Bryan and Panther are shaking hands after the match, bowing to each other, when WALTER’s theme plays. The crowd sounds like it has been put on mute, but in a good way. He absolutely destroys Bryan, Panther and Joe Regal, stealing Panther’s mask and busting open all 3 men. Great angle here. We get a promo video for All Out in August, and we come back with SCU making their entrance and calling out their unknown opponents. Strong Hearts theme plays and they get a decent pop, with CIMA and T-Hawk coming out. Around 30 seconds pass when the screen flashes with a huge “R”, and Ricochet comes out to a great ovation! The 3 sprint to the ring and we are underway! Match 5: SCU vs Ricochet, CIMA and T-Hawk. Another deflection from WWE! Ricochet joining AEW is a huge coup for them. He has cooled a little bit from when he joined WWE but he is still a pretty big name. Teaming him up with CIMA and T-Hawk is a pretty smart move, since they have some history from Dragon Gate and are some of the guys that can keep up with his speed. This was basically an exhibition match for them, but on SCU’s side, Frankie Kazarian looked like, despite his age, he could still keep up with Ricochet and T-Hawk. A little throwback to when ROH had that Do Fixer vs Blood Generation match, a very good match here, with Ricochet, of course, picking up the win. Winners: Ricochet, CIMA and T-Hawk (80) Match 6: Adam Page vs PAC Page is being very clearly positioned as a future main eventer of the company. He was the first one to talk in their first press conference, he is the youngest guy participating in the mini tournament to crown the World Champion and if they want to be bold, they could just crown him. Of course that PAC is PAC, hard hitting and incredible in the air, WWE really had this beast losing to Enzo Amore. Great little match here and “Hangman” picks up the win. Winner: Adam Page (77) Match 7: Lucha Brothers vs The Young Bucks Holy shit. This was a certified dream match between two of the best tag teams in the industry right now, and it did not disappoint at all. They went full throttle from the start and for 20 minutes, they delivered what is probably the best tag team match in the United States in a long time. Incredibly athletic, with Penta breaking up the action with a more brawling based work, go out of your way to watch this one. Winners: The Young Bucks (90) Match 8: Dustin Rhodes vs Cody The match that they always wanted to have and they delivered big time. They went incredibly old-school for this one, with both guys getting colour and Cody especially, looking like Dusty after a big time match. They had great chemistry, which makes sense. Would this match have been better 5 years ago, especially for Dustin? More than likely but still a great one, with Cody winning after the Cross Rhodes. Winner: Cody (82) Match 9: Kenny Omega vs Chris Jericho Was this one better than their Wrestle Kingdom match? Maybe. Certainly the best match in America this year. Just the right length for a main event of this caliber (around 23 minutes), Jericho looked like he was 10 or 15 years younger with the way that he was moving. And Kenny is always amazing, especially in the form that he is in right now, just a monster of movement, timing and understanding what the match needs. MOTN, probably MOTYC. Winner: Chris Jericho (92) Although that main event was amazing, what happened after the match is what is going to get all the headlines. With Jericho celebrating, a hooded man climbed the barricade, got in the ring and gave him a back suplex. He puts the hood down and it’s Jon motherfucking Moxley! He immediately starts attacking Kenny and Jericho, leaving them both laying down and even hitting Omega with a DDT on the casino chips that were a part of the set! General thoughts: This was a slam dunk by AEW. They delivered big surprises, big angles setting up the coming months and, most importantly, they delivered on great matches. Sara del Ray, Ricochet and especially Jon Moxley jumping ship feel like WWE cannot just get to keep doing what they are doing and this PPV, at least in my opinion, sets up AEW as true alternative in the wrestling scene. Thumbs all the way up Overall Rating: 91
