Earlier today, the General Manager of Monday Night Raw spoke on a podcast and he promised some surprises and big announcements for next week's show. Not only that, he confirmed the following matches for next monday:

Erick Rowan vs Aleister Black

SmackDown May, 1st. Performance Center. No live audience.

KURT ANGLE – Welcome to Friday Night SmackDown, live on Fox. Today is the International Workers Day, and where best to celebrate this date than on SmackDown, where every single worker’s rights are respected every day. Right Corey?

COREY – (Nervously) Sure, Sir, sure. But… if I may, is Michael Cole being reinstated to his regular duties? I read your tweet earlier today, and it was most intriguing.

KA – Dontcha worry about Cole. He was relieved of his Head-of-Security Duties that he performed last week, and has been promoted to new and more preeminent duties. But tonight, a very exciting night for the WWE Universe, and we start right now with the Universal Champion in action.

Corey – And he’s facing Jeff Hardy.

KA – Well, Jeff Hardy claims he only lost last week to Drake Maverick due to a lack of match fitness, after being away for so long on an injury, well, he can get some match exercise here today.

Corey – But do you think this is an evenly booked match, Sir? I mean Strowman is the Monster Among Men.

KA – I do. As a matter of fact, Braun Strowman is also in need of some match fitness, as he is also coming form an injury at the hands of Sheamus, remember?

Braun Strowman (C) vs Jeff Hardy

765026659_AdamScherr.jpg.b9d4cc7e79ac6f2d18781d02a0e11b24.jpgvs1390618598_JeffHardy.jpg.3ffe6cf5047dcef5bd8cd6718addcc42.jpg

Jeff Hardy manages to hit the Champ a few times, being quicker than the Monster, but as he goes to the top turnbuckle he is grabbed by Braun, who delivers a running Powerslam. Braun picks up a beat up Hardy and delivers a second Running Powerslam. 1,2,3. Braun Strowman wins. He grabs a Mic

BS – Sheamus. I want you at Money in the Bank. Title on the line. Kurt, book it (and leaves)

Corey – Well, Mr. Commanding Officer, Sir, how do you respond?

KA – Corey. That’s what I expect from my Champion. That can-do attitude. If he wants that match at Money in the Bank, then next week, we’ll sign the deal. But speaking of titles, a couple weeks ago, Dana Brooke has pinned Nikki Cross, one half of the Tag Champs, thus establishing the Blonde Bombshells as a force to be reckoned in the women’s tag division. So, I decided to book the next match:

Carmella vs Alexa (No DQ; If Carmella wins, The Blonde Bombshells get a title shot a MitB)

1847079927_LeahVanDale5.jpg.e37b2c7375261457dfa5e6e14f73258d.jpg vs1177299995_AlexisKaufman2.jpg.4e148176a20425e99a6ae0750395e8b0.jpg       (223135810_AshleySebera.jpg.fd0a66928a1f3530b0a1e86f683c6a10.jpg1461790571_NikkiStorm2.jpg.481d7db32ed81c67a6adfed7c5bd6999.jpg)

With Dana Brooke and Nikki Cross at ringside, the match quickly degenerates into a sort of tornado tag team match with every superstar fighting simultaneously. Dana ends up disposing of Cross at ringside by driving her through the steel steps. This is now sort of a handicap match. Alexa resists the onslaught by delivering some dropkicks and clotheslines to the legal Carmella. However Dana enters the fray and picks up the distracted Alexa, trying to deliver a Fireman Carry into Michinoku Driver, but Alexa escapes and counters with a Code Breaker. Carmella delivers a superkick to the Champ and finally Dana is successful at the second attempt on the Fireman Carry into Michinoku Driver. Carmella covers, 1, 2, 3. Carmella gets the pin. The Blonde Bombshells are going to challenge the Champs at Money in the Bank

Kayla – Michael? What are you doing?

MC (visibly embarrassed) – Kayla, please, can you just please ignore me, don’t film me, please (steps off: Sami Zayn, Nakamura and Cesaro arrive)

724907147_SamiZayn3.jpg.fc36fdd368a4d42b1188305637fb8690.jpg1841229315_ShinsukeNakamura.jpg.2b1627f1248df86f6c05b033d5850643.jpg1351010964_ClaudioCastagnoli.jpg.5c98c6df68981474921a5be5d726853a.jpg

SZ – Kayla, Kayla, Kayla, la belle Kayla! I’ve been thinking. As much as I enjoy being Sami-Two-Belts, being the first and only WWE Superstar EVER to hold two titles at once (Kayla tries to correct Sami, but he rambles on), As much as I know that I deserve these accolades, and as much as I enjoy all the internet’s memes of Sami-Two-Belts, I also am a true friend to my friends. That’s why I decided to gift this 24/7 Championship to my friend Cesaro. See, I hold the Intercontinental Champion now. Shinsuke-san held it very a short while ago, and you have been titleless for some time. It is unfair for me to hold two at once under those conditions. So I scheduled a Ref to come here and the transmission can take place now, lemme just (he lays down, encouraging Cesaro to cover him, Cesaro gratefully does so, the ref counts, 1, 2, 3. Cesaro is the new 24/7 Champion!)

---

Corey – We have a new 24/7. But Sir, what was Michael Cole doing in those garments? Is he a janitor?

KA – Nonsense, Corey! As I’ve tweeted today, Michael Cole was removed from his “Head of Security” position, since it created some backlash online – I dunno why. He is now “Director of Cleanliness of WWE”. Not a mere janitor. A Director, mind you! And what’s more important than cleansing in these times of pandemic!? Anyway time to see the SmackDown Tag Team Champions in action!

Ali & Shorty G vs Miz and Morrison

Ali and Gable were able to impose a fast-paced match, with quick tags, savvy footwork and a superior rope game. Suddenly the Miz grabs Ali and delivers a Skull Crushing Finale. 1,2. Shorty G intervenes just in time. Morrison is tagged, Ali is unable to do the same and is left at the mercy of the fresh participant. Johnny is able to deliver a Breakdance Leg Drop, and an Elbow drop from the top rope. The Miz grabs Gable’s ankle and he falls from the apron. Morrison lands a Shooting Star Splash, 1,2,3. The Champs win.

Kofi – Hey Us’, I was really touched by your forgiveness las week. As such I prepared this plate of pancakes for y’all. Lemme just pour on this gravy. Hmmm look at that, Us’!!

Big E – Hmmm indeed Kof’! Can I have some too?

Kofi – Hey brotha, these are exclusevily for the Usos! They deserved it. We have our own in the locker room. Go ahead Usos! Eat them.

Jey – Oh sure, as a matter of fact I had the munchies right now. Prior to a match I’m always hungry.

Jimmy – I mean it does looks tasty. Let’s just devour them. Our fight is only latter on. Thanks Kofi! Thanks a lot!

(Kofi and Big E leave the room as the Usos begin eating the whole plate of gravy soaked pancakes. It looks delicious!)

Bray – Hi!!! Yowie wowie everybody! Today we have some very special guests here at the Fun House! First of, Bo Dallas! (Bo Dallas enters he is visibly confused)

45546977_TaylorRotunda.jpg.f69b31fa4dbed91b36cb6c178152ae05.jpg

Abby the Witch – Welcome, Bo. I hear HE is gonna change your life.

Mercy the Buzzard – For the better!

Rambling Rabbit – Wow, that is uncommon. HE normally only changes your life to the worse. Look at John Cena! Poor John Cena, he never left the “Beyond the Door”. (Awwwwwwn is heard)

BW – Well, I don’t know exactly HIS plan for you, Bo. Only HE does. But HE doesn’t come here. HE only stays “Beyond the Door”.

RR – And Bray is afraid to enter there! (Bray Wyatt smacks Rambling Rabbit on the head).

BW – Erm.. I’m not! I so am not! But HE is unpredictable. Are you sure you want to step in “Beyond the Door”?

BD – Hey man, at this point, I’m so sick of losing, of not finding my mojo, of being a million miles away from when I was NXT Champion, and a leading figure in WWE’s next generation, that I’m willing to risk it. (Bray opens the door, Bo Dallas enters, the camera doesn’t follow. As Bray goes to close the door, a foot emerges from the Beyond that prevents is from closing).

Mercy the Buzzard – HE is here!!! Run, flee for your lives! (But it’s not The Fiend that steps out. It is John Cena! But it is the nWo version of John Cena, black nWo tshirt, nWo mannerisms, and the nWo World Heavyweight Championship on the shoulder).

1144257327_JohnCenanWo.jpg.9df9a7ebbd9e6e9d2cbdb895d07e81a1.jpg

nWo John Cena (in a 90’s inflated tone) – Hey my brothas! How are you doing! (Gives Bray Wyatt a hug. Bray is somewhat confused).

Rambling Rabbit - Yey! John Cena, my hero, he is back!

nJC – I am not John Cena. Or rather, I am what John Cena shoulda been. I am nWo John Cena. And I am nobody’s hero. (He and Bray touch fingers and Yell “Too sweet!!!”. As this happens, Sheamus steps into the Firefly Fun House)

347230129_SheamusOShaunessy4.jpg.7a71bba1383965afb107f20a95afa590.jpg

Sheamus (absolutely lost for words) – I….I…(stares at this version of John Cena, baffled) Bray, I got your message (pulls out a ancient scroll, apparently, that’s Bray Wyatts mode of communication).

BW – Ah, yes! Yes! Step right in. I heard you are willing to fight Braun Strowman. I used to know Braun Strowman. But that was in another life. Now I don’t know him, so I can’t really help you. But HE can. Only HE can. You must step in there (points to the door at the back) in order to get HIM to reveal the secret to defeating Braun Strowman.

nJC (in an inflated tone) – Hey Sheamus, my man! I heard your speech last week, and lemme just tell you that I agree. That so-called “Universal” title is a complete trash. It doesn’t hold a candle to this bad boy over here (motions to the nWo World Heavyweight Championship, and looks directly into the camera) This is THE REAL World Championship! (Sheamus steps in “Beyond the Door”, Bray and Cena laugh extensively and yell “Too Sweet!”, as the segment ends)

---

Corey – And we’re back, still trying to figure out what we have just seen. Mr. GM, care to comment?

KA – Actually Corey, I wont. The Authority of WWE and myself does not extend to the realms of the Firefly fun House. That is a lawless wasteland. ‘Matter of fact, officially the Firefly fun house does not exist in our books, so I won’t comment ever on what’s going on there. But up next we the Semi Finals of the “2020 Friday Night SmackDown Live on Fox Post WrestleMania All-Encompassing Tag Team Tournament”

Lucha House Party vs Ziggler & Roode

478941820_MascaraDorada.jpg.434438797d7ac38933e669bd22541b57.jpg939370303_LinceDorado.jpg.f5e8323b5939e70a6508166f8a58b983.jpgvs1631481722_NickNemeth.jpg.53e8870a86a06897b122eae7a2e4d460.jpg1435498736_BobbyRoode.jpg.0b719081a850c092bfe04a17c693f1e7.jpg

Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado make their entrance, Ziggler enters, and as “Glorious” is heard throughout the arena, Roode is nowhere to be seen. Instead, Primo and Epico enter. The Colóns are here. And, what’s this, in comes Carlito! And he is holding a bruised-up Robert Roode. Carlito speaks:

165659366_CarlosColonJr2.jpg.4315eae6c36b36094c8e71b3c62e3919.jpg

CC – Hey, Angle. First of, congrats on the new job. Second of all, this match should be happening. The Colons were deprived of their chance in the Tournament. Ziggler and Roode just advanced to these semifinals without competing in the first round.

KA – Hey Carlito, what a surprise! I thought you were back at Puerto Rico at your family promotion, running things. But hey, you’re always welcome at the WWE family. Well those two didn’t show up to their scheduled match. That’s why Ziggler and Roode advanced.

CC – Well, they weren’t here because there were no flies fro San Juan to Tampa at that point, cause of the pandemic. But now, they are here, and we want our spot, our chance!

KA – Fair enough. This match’s now a Triple Threat tag team match with one member of each team legal at all times. (Ziggler is furious, claiming that Roode is in no shape to compete)

Lucha House Party vs Ziggler & Roode vs The Colóns

939370303_LinceDorado.jpg.f5e8323b5939e70a6508166f8a58b983.jpg478941820_MascaraDorada.jpg.434438797d7ac38933e669bd22541b57.jpgvs1631481722_NickNemeth.jpg.53e8870a86a06897b122eae7a2e4d460.jpg1435498736_BobbyRoode.jpg.0b719081a850c092bfe04a17c693f1e7.jpgvs801874715_EddieColon.jpg.48f7aa0a8f5f3e24c68a650c7931d731.jpg2083144008_OrlandoColon.jpg.c5014a5ba5e092661723d32db2719428.jpg

Ziggler, Epico and Dorado start the bout. The match was a little too fast-paced for Ziggler sake, as the other teams made quick tags in and out, as Ziggler is left alone at first while Roode is still nursing his injuries. However an opportunity comes as Dorado climbs on top of the ring pole and summersaults to wipeout the whole mass of superstars at ring side, trying to hit Ziggler, who however escapes at the last second. Ziggler is now alone with Dorado, applies the ZigZag, goes for the cover, 1, 2, but Carlito throws an apple to a head of the ref, interrupting the count. The ref did not see who threw the apple, Carlito claims innocence and looks up to the ceiling, claiming that maybe it fell from the heavens. Roode is tagged in and is in a furious mode. As Primo tries a crossbody from the top floor, Roode grabs him midair and powerslams hi to the mat. Carlito tries to intervene but is applied a Superkick by Ziggler and a glorious DDT by Roode. Ziggler then launches himself from the apron to wipeout Gran Metalik and Dorado at ringside who were trying to intervene. Roode picks up Primo, and applies the Roode Awakening. 1,2,3. Roode and Ziggler advance to the Finals!!

Usos vs Heavy Machinery

826033232_JoshuaFatu.jpg.c77c53a8cbc6672d73bbfd3764680068.jpg327670688_JonathanFatu.jpg.dfafa86b07ef404196c0760dd7432abf.jpgvs413161209_NikoBogojevic.jpg.eaca419dd2d4be8bb1218211115e0568.jpg624227676_LeviCooper2.jpg.f6a2d353d19842d3082e137cc0f7bbb4.jpg

With the New Day at commentary table, Jey and Jimmy limp to the ring. They look ill, slow paced, sweating profusely. Jey and Tucker start the bout, but Jey is slower than Tucker, and is slammer easily time and time again. He looks nauseated. Tucker is so confused that he even checks on his opponent. The ref does at well. The match is resumed and Otis and Jimmy are tagged in, but Jimmy is in no better shape than his brother, and his visibly nauseated. Otis pushes him around in to ropes but doesn’t even slam him to the mat; Jimmy just drops down. Everybody is confused. Otis covers, 1,2,3. Heavy Machinery pick up an easy win, but what happened to the Usos?

Drew Gulak vs King Slater (Daniel Bryan and Elias are at ring-side, respectively)

1096585267_DrewGulak.jpg.54487dccb5bf8c8c086fa10df6150bd2.jpgvs493680736_HeathMiller.jpg.637665ab572bfea7fd67d3f24c80afc1.jpg     (1958242274_BryanDanielson07.jpg.e857888d59d541ec663cc54fad2b3ff2.jpg680605176_LoganShulo.jpg.0febb6ecfda1a5781b1d82e910b42428.jpg)

The match has just started, with Gulak applying a Full-Nelson when King Corbin entered the stage to get his crown back. He gets involved with Elias at ringside and pommels him through the steel steps. As he climbs on the apron to interfere in the match, Daniel Bryan comes from behind and suplexes him off the apron to the floor.

On come the Artists Collective

724907147_SamiZayn3.jpg.fc36fdd368a4d42b1188305637fb8690.jpg1841229315_ShinsukeNakamura.jpg.2b1627f1248df86f6c05b033d5850643.jpg1351010964_ClaudioCastagnoli.jpg.5c98c6df68981474921a5be5d726853a.jpg

SZ – Mais qu’est qu’il se passe ici?? Referee? Do you allow this interference by half-man Daniel? Well, I do not! (he and his posse run towards Daniel Bryan)

The match gets out of hand, as Gulak comes to the defense of his Mentor. A confused King Slater joins the brawl plowing through the collective. Finally, General Manager Kurt Angle has enough, stands up and decides to make this a 4 on 4 encounter. The match (re)starts. Corbin grabs a mic and demands that if his team win, the Crown should immediately be restored to him. Angles agrees to that stipulation

Daniel Bryan, Drew Gulak, King Slater, Elias vs King Corbin, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ceraso.

vs

694750694_TomPestock.jpg.bd7a2708afe5f83c4b99859ba6d5eafe.jpg724907147_SamiZayn3.jpg.fc36fdd368a4d42b1188305637fb8690.jpg1841229315_ShinsukeNakamura.jpg.2b1627f1248df86f6c05b033d5850643.jpg1351010964_ClaudioCastagnoli.jpg.5c98c6df68981474921a5be5d726853a.jpg

Both Kings start the match. The lighter Slater goes to the ropes often and lariat’s Corbin to the ground. He gets pumped, as a shocked Corbin retreats to his corner. Just as Cesaro tags himself in, an eager Slater runs into the opposition corner, but it is unwise, Corbin moves out of the way, and Slater is planted on the turnbuckle and gets assaulted by all four members of the opposition. As his colleagues go to his defense an all-out brawl develops.

The referee eventually manages to restore order. Zayn and Bryan are the legal competitors now. However, Zayn escapes the ring, a relentless Bryan pursuits him, but runs into a clothesline by Cesaro. Sami Zayn distracts the referee, and Shinsuke connects with a Kinshasa. Corbin returns a lifeless Bryan to the ring. Zayn moves for the cover, 1, 2, Gulak interferes. Corbin is tagged in and prevents Bryan from performing a tag. Instead applies a Deep 6. This is it, 1, 2, Slater interferes.

Amidst the confusion, Elias drags Daniel Bryan to the corner, and when order is restored tags himself in and goes right after Corbin. Corbin manages to eventually tag Shinsuke in, but Elias drives a Big Boot on the face of Nakamura. Daniel Bryan is tagged in, so is Sami Zayn. A fearful Zayn tries to evade the ring again, but Daniel Bryan grabs him, performs a Side suplex and quickly applies the Yes Lock. Sami Zayn is in trouble, but Elias, Slater and Gulak stand in guard preventing interference from Sami’s companions. With no way out, Sami Zayn taps. King Corbin does not get his crown back for now.

(Camera cuts to the back. Barfing noises emerge from the locker. The Usos are feeling unwell. Kayla enters and Doctor are attending the Usos)

Kayla – What’s happening? Are they infected with COVID?

Doctor – No. They were already vaccinated and tested negative even today. It’s something else.

(Suddenly Michael Cole appears, hazmat suited, mop and bucket in hand)

MC – Did…(staggers when he sees the camera) Did someone order cleaning here?....

(Camera cuts away as the Doctors drags both Usos to an Ambulance and Michael Cole proceed with cleaning the vomit)

---

KA- I hope all is well with Usos, but I’m glad that the “Director of Cleanliness” of WWE is on top of thing in that department. Anyway, time for our main event of the evening! And we have the company of the Champion, Bayley, and Sasha Banks at the commentary table.

Corey – What a main event! The members of the winning team are going to face the Champion Bayley in a Triple Threat match a Money in the Bank. The losers must fight it out between them next week for the last spot in the Women’s Ladder Match at that PPV.

Naomi & Ember Moon vs Lacey Evans & Tamina

Naomi and Lacey start the match with Naomi’s superior speed showing as she gets the upper hand. Lacey tags Tamina in, and the monster ends up big booting Naomi to the floor. Proceeds to pick her up and just tossed her out of the ring, towards the pavement. Naomi lands hard, Ember Moon is incensed! The ref checks on Naomi, just is unwell, but tags Ember in. Ember delivers many strikes to Tamina but she won’t go down. Ember goes to the top rope, but Lacey trips her.

Tamina picks her up and just launches her across the ring towards the other corner, but Ember ends up running into the referee, who takes a bump, and is down. On commentary, Bayley says “It’s time to take advantage of this, Sasha!” and the pair proceeds towards the ring. But there must have been some miscommunication between them, as Sasha bashes the already downed Ember Moon, and Bayley is alone fighting both Lacey and Tamina, who are rather fresh. As a result, Bayley is evidently handled with ease, thrown around by Tamina and Lacey, until Lacey deliver s knocking out Women’s Right. When Sasha realizes that her best friend did not come after Naomi, but rather went alone after the other pairing, it’s too late, the referee is back up, and restores order to the match. Lacey is tagged in, so is the hurting Naomi, and Lacey quickly disposes of her and connects with a Women’s Right, 1, 2, 3.

Tamina and Lacey will go on to challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank. As such the program ends with both women squaring up, as they realize they are, from now on, adversaries. Outside the ring, Sasha is nursing Bayley’s injuries, and apologizing, “You didn’t tell me who you wanted to attack, Bayley” is overheard as the show ends.

Coitado do Cole 😅

Intrigado pela aparição do Sheamus na FFH, e pelo "regresso" do Cena.

Um bocado underwhelming o regresso do Carlito para acabarem por perder, fico a aguardar os desenvolvimentos nas próximas semanas.

Cheira-me a turn do Kofi...

Acontece à WWE, acontecerá a mim tb.
