Isso não é assim. 

Deram 80M€ por um guarda redes que era (e ainda é) uma promessa. Foi titularíssimo durante dois anos (ou três ?), errou e fartou-se de fazer asneiras. É como tudo na vida, apostou-se e não deu certo, como poderia muito bem ter dado.

Diria que são meras formalidades, mas o Arteta passou a ter um papel de "manager", em vez de ser reconhecido apenas como treinador... um pouco à imagem do Wenger, de resto! Aliás, toda a estrutura actualmente montada assemelha-se àquela feita à volta do francês.

O Arteta a supervisionar a equipa principal, o Mertesacker a formação, o Edu actuando como director-desportivo, e o Vinai como director-geral.
