Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg

It's finally happening.

After 12 years, Goldberg will return to a WWE ring for a Mega Match against Brock Lesnar, turning the WWE Universe's fantasy warfare into hard-hitting reality. The battlefield of choice? Survivor Series, live Sunday, Nov. 20, on WWE Network.

Goldberg's path to the ring went from pie-in-the-sky hypothetical to signed and sealed over a matter of weeks, as Paul Heyman responded to the former World Heavyweight Champion's noncommittal SportsCenter interview with a challenge on behalf of The Beast Incarnate. Goldberg, Heyman explained, was not just a mirror image of Brock throughout the Monday Night War, but he holds the distinction of a 1-0 record against The Conqueror. This, of course, is something Heyman could not abide, especially given Goldberg's casual dismissing of Lesnar in the lead-up to the release of WWE 2K17, where both are featured Superstars (Lesnar is the cover athlete; Goldberg a downloadable exclusive).

Even so, Heyman must have been surprised when Goldberg took him up on his offer, declaring The Beast to be "last" on his infamous hit list, with the time and place confirmed one week later on WWE's official Twitter account. Now, at WWE's fall classic, Goldberg will either join the ranks of the conquered, or forever be known as The One Who Beat the One in 23-1.

Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown LIVE in a 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Men's Elimination Match

Raw vs. SmackDown LIVE. Only one show can survive.

The friendly competition between Team Red and Team Blue turns physical on Sunday, Nov. 20, when a five-Superstar squadron of Raw's male Superstars take on a corps of SmackDown LIVE's competitors in a 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Men's Elimination Match.

After accepting SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan's challenge to pit the shows' rosters against each other in traditional Survivor Series format, Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and General Manager Mick Foley responded by naming WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, United States Champion Roman Reigns and Chris Jericho to their team. Braun Strowman then won a Battle Royal on Raw to become the fourth member of Team Raw. Seth Rollins was later added as the squad's final member, thanks to "assurances" made to The Architect by Stephanie McMahon.

SmackDown LIVE named WWE World Champion AJ Styles and his perennial challenger Dean Ambrose, as well as Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton, whom The Eater of Worlds appears to have assimilated into his Family. Baron Corbin had initially been slotted as the fifth man, but after suffering an injury against a returning Kalisto, The Lone Wolf was replaced by none other than Team Blue Commissioner Shane McMahon, making his in-ring return for the first time since WrestleMania 32. Shane-O-Mac also named cult hero James Ellsworth as SmackDown LIVE's official "mascot" heading into Survivor Series.

Which show will prevail come bell time?

Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown LIVE in a 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Women's Elimination Match

Bragging rights will be on the line when Raw and SmackDown LIVE's Women's divisions go head-to-head in a 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Women's Elimination Match at the 30th annual Survivor Series.

A hallmark of WWE's fall classic, the Traditional Elimination Match can only end when all members of one team are eliminated. Elimination can occur by pinfall, submission, disqualification or count-out, and Superstars must leave the ringside area after they have been eliminated.

Team Raw is captained by Raw Women's Champion Charlotte Flair and also features Flair's bitter rival, Sasha Banks, plus Bayley, Nia Jax and Alicia Fox. Unity may be impossible to achieve, but at least Charlotte had a plan in case The Boss was unable to make it to Survivor Series following her brutal Hell in a Cell Match: The self-proclaimed "Queen" went so far as to recruit her protégé Dana Brooke as a team alternate.

SmackDown LIVE, meanwhile, is represented by team captain Nikki Bella, SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Naomi and Carmella. Team Blue management also agreed to let Natalya coach the squad, but it remains to be seen whether The Queen of Harts will help SmackDown LIVE's chances of keeping the peace amid such combustible elements.

What type of dream matchups await at Survivor Series? Will the WWE Universe witness a showdown between the champions, Flair and Lynch? Might Nikki Bella, the longest reigning Divas Champion in WWE history, step toe-to-toe with the destructive Nia Jax? What happens if onetime best friends Bayley and Carmella come to blows?

Most important of all: Which Women's division will prevail?

Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown LIVE in a 10-on-10 Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match

The world will find out which tag team division is superior when Team Raw and Team SmackDown LIVE square off in a 10-on-10 Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match.

Raw Tag Team Champions The New Day will lead Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, Sheamus & Cesaro, Enzo Amore & Big Cass and The Shining Stars into battle against SmackDown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater & Rhyno, The Usos, American Alpha, The Hype Bros and Breezango.

Even though neither brand can claim to have a truly harmonious faction, both armies are full of firepower, and the potential for once-in-a-lifetime matchups is high.

The Traditional Elimination Match can only end when all of the tag teams belonging to a brand are eliminated. Elimination can occur by pinfall, submission, disqualification or count-out, and tag teams must leave the ringside area after one of their members has been eliminated.

What will happen when teams like Gallows & Anderson or Sheamus & Cesaro cross paths with the likes of Chad Gable & Jason Jordan or The Usos? Will The New Day and Slater & Rhyno meet up inside the ring?

Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs. Sami Zayn

Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler stunned the WWE Universe when he issued an open challenge to any Raw Superstar to battle him for the coveted Intercontinental Title at WWE Survivor Series. Little did anyone realize at the time, Ziggler himself wouldn’t even be involved in the bout once WWE’s fall classic finally rolled around.

Sami Zayn won the right to face Ziggler at Survivor Series after he defeated Rusev in a hard-fought battle on Raw. It didn’t take long for The Underdog from the Underground and The Showoff to start trash talking via social media, but what happened next caught both competitors by surprise.

On SmackDown LIVE’s historic 900th episode, Ziggler defended the Intercontinental Title against heated rival The Miz. With Survivor Series just days away, Ziggler lost his prized possession to the A-lister, changing the upcoming title showdown. At Survivor Series, Ziggler is out and Miz is in.

This epic contest is not just a clash for one of WWE’s most prestigious titles; it’s also a huge opportunity for both brands to further prove their superiority over the other. Zayn will have a chance to win his first WWE championship, while also scoring a major coup for the Raw brand by bringing the Intercontinental Title over to the red team.

For Miz, anyone who witnessed the Intercontinental Champion’s previous title reign knows full well how much the storied title means to him. This inter-brand matchup also presents another opportunity for the outspoken Superstar to boast about his worth to SmackDown LIVE.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick vs. Kalisto (If Kalisto wins, SmackDown LIVE gets the entire Cruiserweight division)

The stakes won't get much higher than when SmackDown LIVE's Kalisto challenges Raw's Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick at Survivor Series on Sunday, Nov. 20.

Not only will Kalisto have the chance to become champion, but if successful, The King of Flight will accomplish something even bigger: Bringing the entire Cruiserweight division to SmackDown LIVE.

The seismic deal was forged by Raw General Manager Mick Foley and SmackDown LIVE's Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan, agreed upon after Dolph Ziggler put SmackDown LIVE's Intercontinental Championship in jeopardy by issuing his open challenge to Raw.

A victory by Kalisto would deliver a devastating blow to Team Red mere months after Raw launched the action-packed division, a decision that was driven by the brand's competition with SmackDown LIVE.

Kalisto, a quintessential Cruiserweight if there ever was one, has had to watch from afar as his peers turn up the thrills on Monday nights, and before that, as part of the inaugural Cruiserweight Classic. The desire to prove himself as WWE's premier Cruiserweight no doubt weighs heavily on The King of Flight.

And though The Brian Kendrick prides himself on being "the man with the plan," does The Wizard of Odd have a strategy for dealing with the mesmerizing aerial assault of Kalisto — an opponent Kendrick has yet to face since returning to WWE?

At WWE's fall classic, the fate of the entire Cruiserweight division hinges on this all-important contest.
