WWE Champion Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton

Randy Orton will have the home-field advantage when he gets his rematch for the WWE Championship against Jinder Mahal in St. Louis at Money in the Bank this Sunday.

Mahal has proven to be a true thorn in The Viper's side since becoming the No. 1 contender to the title in April. The Modern-Day Maharaja has sneak-attacked Orton on several occasions and even cost him a House of Horrors Match against Bray Wyatt at WWE Payback.

But Mahal sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe at WWE Backlash when he planted The Apex Predator into the canvas with the Khallas and pinned Orton for a three-count to win the WWE Championship. Now, Mahal's championship mettle will be put to the test at Money in the Bank.

Will Orton's return home to St. Louis end with his 14th World Title, or will Jinder Mahal ruin the homecoming and stand tall with the WWE Championship once again?

United States Champion Kevin Owens, AJ Styles, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler and Shinsuke Nakamura (Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match)

At Money in the Bank, six of SmackDown LIVE's best competitors will battle it out in the 2017 Money in the Bank Ladder Match with the goal of climbing the dreaded rungs and claiming a prized briefcase. With the contract inside that case, the victorious Superstar will guarantee himself a WWE Championship opportunity any time they wish in the subsequent year.

SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon named the six participants on the May 23 edition of the blue brand: United States Champion Kevin Owens, AJ Styles, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler and Shinsuke Nakamura.

No stranger to Money in the Bank, or Ladder Matches in general for that matter, the veteran Ziggler will perhaps walk into the June 18 pay-per-view with a distinct advantage. After all, he did ascend to the top of the ladder back in 2012 to capture the coveted briefcase.

Among the numerous wars Owens and Zayn have been involved in over the years, the former friends turned longstanding adversaries have also competed in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, fighting for the WWE World Heavyweight Title contract in 2016. Add to that experience the unending supply of unbridled skill and tough-as-nails nature that both brawlers possess, and you quickly realize that either one of them could be destined to take possession of the WWE Title contract sooner or later.

While Corbin, Styles and Nakamura have never competed in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match, all three should bring a considerable amount of excitement to such a chaotic environment.

Corbin is such a brutal force of nature that WWE's top brass may have traveled into the future and gotten a look at The Lone Wolf back when they were designing this type of match. To say that the cunning Superstar will not only survive, but excel amidst such chaos is an understatement. Without question, The Lone Wolf thrives in matches built on anarchy and will surely be a dangerous foe that his opponents cannot afford to take lightly.

Arguably one of the greatest competitor in WWE today, Styles has demonstrated his ability time and time again, adapting to any style or match put in front of him. Translation, he will no doubt feel right at home at Money in the Bank. This will be true whether he is utilizing one of the many ladders placed around the ring to compete on several levels or using one of them as a painful weapon of destruction.

Just the thought of what Nakamura could bring to Money in the Bank is simply astonishing. Picture WWE's Rockstar executing his precision Strong Style strikes while wielding a ladder at his adversaries at lightning speed. Can you imagine him incorporating dangerous rungs into one of his many submission maneuvers and weakening his opponents so badly that they are unable to climb anything at all? For certain, The Artist Known at Shinsuke Nakamura is ready to make the Money in the Bank Ladder Match his canvas.

SmackDown Women's Champion Naomi vs. Lana

At SmackDown LIVE's WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view, Lana will make her blue brand in-ring debut when she challenges Naomi for the SmackDown Women's Championship in a match that was made following the turbulent events of the June 6 edition of SmackDown LIVE.

Angered over Commissioner Shane McMahon's decision to deny her from entering the first-ever Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, The Ravishing Russian suddenly attacked Naomi during the titleholder's Six-Woman Tag Team Match.

In response, Naomi's glow turned red, and she demanded that Shane-O-Mac grant Lana a title match against her at the June 18 pay-per-view and promised to "snatch her bald."

Irate over the actions of her Total Divas co-star, the SmackDown Women's Champion is ready for an out-and-out fight. But what will happen when she stands across the squared circle from an opponent with an in-ring style she knows nothing about?

Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Natalya vs. Tamina vs. Carmella (Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match)

The SmackDown LIVE Women's division is once again about to prove just how ground-breaking it can be. At WWE Money in the Bank, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Natalya, Tamina and Carmella will compete in the first-ever Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

The fuse for the unprecedented showdown was lit during the May 30 edition of SmackDown LIVE when all five Superstars competed in a 5-Way Elimination Match to determine the new No. 1 contender to SmackDown Women's Champion Naomi at the highly-anticipated June 18 pay-per-view.

None of the athletes proved willing to wait for the bell, though, and a pre-match brawl inevitably broke out, setting the stage for all-out bedlam.

As the dust cleared, SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon picked up the mic and acknowledged just how hungry the five competitors were for a chance at the prestigious title. Taking pride in Team Blue being The Land of Opportunity, Shane-O-Mac seized the moment to make history by declaring that all five Superstars will square off in the first-ever Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

With ladders placed all around the ring, who will conquer the opposition, climb the dangerous rungs, grab the Money in the Bank briefcase and capture the coveted contract to earn an opportunity to challenge for the SmackDown Women's Championship anytime they wish in the next year?

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. The New Day

It's a new day, yes it is. Or at least Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods are hoping it will be when they challenge The Usos for their first SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WWE Money in the Bank, streaming live this Sunday at 8 ET/5 PT on WWE Network.

On the very same night that the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history made their long-awaited reemergence on SmackDown LIVE — their first such appearance since moving to the blue brand in the Superstar Shake-up — they quickly made their case to be The Usos' next challengers, right as Jimmy & Jey were crowing over their two consecutive title defenses against Breezango. Back to full force after an ankle injury felled Kofi Kingston last month, ya boys declared they were rested, ready, and sanctioned by SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon to challenge The Usos straight out of the gate.

With the match quickly sanctioned, can The Usos fend off their rejuvenated foes to maintain their grasp on the gold? Or will Day One give way to a New Day?

The Hype Bros vs. The Colons (Kickoff Match)

Zack Ryder's back, bro, and it's time for The Hype Bros to tend to some unfinished business.

The Ultimate Broski will reunite with Mojo Rawley at WWE Money in the Bank Kickoff, where the former Intercontinental Champion and reigning Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner will take on The Colons in an attempt to re-insert themselves into the SmackDown Tag Team Title race.

The juncture is a crucial one for both Ryder and Rawley, as they became No. 1 contenders to then-champions The Wyatt Family on the same night that Ryder suffered a ruptured patellar tendon that sent him to the shelf for six months. Flying solo, Mojo surged his way past Jinder Mahal to win WrestleMania's signature Battle Royal, but, by his own admission, Rawley has somewhat stalled since then. Ryder's return represents a major opportunity for both Superstars to get back on track.

Of course, they'll have to get past the devious, decorated and possibly underrated Colons to do it. Can these two bros recapture their old magic and pick up where they left off? You know it.

A WWE postou o seguinte tweet:

Six men will battle. Six women will collide. History will be made at @WWE #MITB, streaming LIVE THIS SUNDAY at 8e/5p only on @WWENetwork!

Para os mais distraídos, só estão 5 no women mitb. Isto coincide com rumores de que a vencedora ainda não está no combate e com o seguinte artigo:

Mike Johnson said in his Elite Section that Mike Bennett and Maria will be on the road this weekend with the Smackdown crew for Money in the Bank, and at Smackdown TV this week.

He said this hours ago, so I'm surprised the news didn't make it to here. Meltzer says something in the Observer and its on here immediately. Guess there's a vast discrepancy in the amount of subs for each.

I'll throw this in there because after this news broke it makes a little more sense, but a insider on twitter was claiming that the Women's MITB winner was not currently in the match days ago. At the time it made zero sense, but now it might. A completely unfabricated rumor that's.....interesting.
