Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso (Hell in a Cell "I Quit" Match)

Roman Reigns has taken his place at the head of the table. All he wants now is for his cousin Jey Uso to pay his respects and join him.

The Big Dog will go to battle with his Bloodline once again in a Universal Championship rematch with Uso in a Hell in a Cell "I Quit" Match at WWE Hell in a Cell. Reigns sent a brutal message in his win at WWE Clash of Champions that only ended once Jimmy Uso finally threw in the towel on behalf of his brother. It appeared the Universal Champion was set to move on with Paul Heyman prepared to official crown him The Tribal Chief on Friday Night SmackDown, but Reigns yearned for more. The titleholder asked for Uso to come out and call him The Tribal Chief in order for the status to be fully earned. The high-flying challenger wouldn’t take that step, but he did agree to share the ring with his cousin once again in the “highest stakes match in WWE history.”

Two nights before WWE Hell in a Cell, Reigns revealed those drastic consequences before both his cousins. If The Big Dog emerges victorious, Jey & Jimmy Uso will have to take orders and acknowledge Reigns as The Tribal Chief or the Usos and their immediate families will all be exiled from the family.

What will happen when family collides inside one of sports-entertainment’s most unforgiving structures? Who will utter the words "I Quit!"

 

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton (Hell in a Cell Match)

There will be no escaping Randy Orton’s reign of terror at WWE Hell in a Cell, and that’s exactly the way WWE Champion Drew McIntyre wants it.

The two titans will clash in a WWE Championship Hell in a Cell Match, as the cage lowers for the third installment of their rivalry. McIntyre outlasted Orton in a brutal showdown at SummerSlam with a crafty backslide to seal the win. The Viper continued his reign of terror with targeted kicks to the skull of McIntyre that put the champion’s immediate in-ring future in doubt.

The ghosts of Orton’s past caught up to him at WWE Clash of Champions, as Shawn Michaels, Big Show, Ric Flair and Christian got involved in an Ambulance Match, which was won by McIntyre. The defeat did nothing to humble the brash Superstar, as Orton went into disguise to launch one more attack on the four Legends of sports-entertainment on Raw. McIntyre came calling to return the favor and issue Orton a challenge he couldn’t possibly escape at WWE Hell in a Cell.

Will McIntyre finally end Orton’s streak of brutality? Or will The Legend Killer build an even more impressive legacy with a 14th World Championship win?

 

SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley vs. Sasha Banks (Hell in a Cell Match)

There will be nowhere to hide when former best friends Bayley and Sasha Banks meet in a SmackDown Women’s Championship Hell in a Cell Match.

Two Beltz Banks and Bayley Dos Straps were on top of the world as “The Golden Role Models” of WWE this summer. Then a string of losses over SummerSlam weekend derailed their dominance. Bayley still holds her precious SmackDown Women’s Title, but she lost her best friend in the process. After failing to regain the Women’s Tag Team Titles, Bayley crushed Banks with a ruthless steel chair attack. Another steel chair attack from Bayley enraged an injured Banks enough to return the favor at WWE Clash of Champions.

Bayley has remained one step ahead of the competition during her historic reign, but Banks brings extra motivation into their upcoming clash. The Boss battled back from injury to return to the ring, but the SmackDown Women’s Champion resorted to a quick disqualification to keep her title in their most recent showdown.

Will Banks end Bayley’s historic title reign and get her desired payback? Or will Bayley reach a new level of brutality in taking down The Boss inside WWE Hell in a Cell?

 

Jeff Hardy vs. Elias

Jeff Hardy and Elias are both seeking a “Universal Truth.” They just have very different versions of it.

The Charismatic Enigma will battle Elias at WWE Hell in a Cell, as the two newly drafted red brand Superstars look for a huge opening riff.

The red brand musician still believes Hardy was responsible for the hit and run attack months ago on SmackDown. After being drafted to Raw, Elias boldly announced his return with a blindside guitar smash to the back of Hardy. As Elias concluded his unforgettable concert performance the following week, a disguised Hardy took a swing at the musical Superstar with an electric guitar.

Elias is hot on the music scene with the anticipated debut of his new album “Universal Truth,” but The Charismatic Enigma is ready to test the newly returned Superstar inside the squared circle.

Will Hardy be able to silence WWE’s songbird? Or will Elias make his return a smash-hit?

 

Otis vs. The Miz – Winner gets Money in the Bank contract

There can only be one Mr. Money in the Bank, and Otis and The Miz are ready to settle that once and for all at WWE Hell in a Cell.

The Money in the Bank contract will be on the line when the Heavy Machinery Superstar takes on the A-Lister this Sunday. The Miz & John Morrison have tried a number of schemes but were unable to pry the contract from Otis. The dispute would eventually head to court with WWE Legends JBL, Ron Simmons and Teddy Long all pulled into the Law & Otis proceedings. JBL’s gavel delivered the final sentence, as some valuable last minute evidence helped tip the scales of justice in favor of The Miz.

Will Otis provide the ultimate closing argument and leave as Mr. Money in the Bank? Or will The Miz’s devious actions finally pay off?

Hoje vou acompanhar em direto, espero vitórias do Roman (óbvio), Elias (também me parece óbvio) e Miz (não há melhor para ser Mr. Money in the Bank, e o Otis enfim, não é culpa dele, mas nunca devia ter ganho).

Nos outros combates, acho que ainda é cedo para a Sasha ganhar, portanto deve cair para a Bayley de forma a que ainda se prolongue mais.

No Drew vs Orton fico um pouco dividido, acho que a feud se prolongou demasiado. Acho que o Drew tem sido um excelente campeão e este é o tipo de rivalidades que tem que ganhar para se consolidar como uma estrela, e há a possibilidade de a seguir fazer Drew vs AJ enquanto está o Miz como Mr. Money in the Bank. Por outro lado podem meter o cinto no Orton, dar-lhe dois ou três fillers até que finalmente regresse o Edge.

Ainda estamos longe de uma possível aparição do Rock, se é que irá mesmo acontecer. Gostava que os Usos fossem de alguma forma forçados a servir o Roman a partir de agora, está na hora de começar o verdadeiro Roman Empire.

Depois de levarem no focinho iam servir o Roman com que propósito? Com medo de levarem mais? Já levaram.

E deixa lá o Roman sozinho, ele não precisa de empire nenhum. Esta personagem é mesmo para ser lone wolf que bate em tudo o que mexe mas que não se associa a ninguém. Até o Heyman parece cada vez mais perto de levar uma chapada do que de ser "amigo" do Roman.

São forçados a servi-lo para não serem expulsos da família. Isso sim permite manter a história da família presente até eventualmente vir o Rock, porque se ele vier é só para a Wrestlemania, não faria grande sentido vir só daqui a uns meses se isto acabar hoje e ficar por aqui.

Funciona bem sozinho, mas também pode funcionar como líder de uma stable. Não do género de que vão conquistar tudo, mas sim uma stable onde há claramente um líder e os outros prestam vassalagem.

Completamente perdoado o facto de nos tentarem vender o Roman como babyface durante anos. 

Esta nova versão está incrível e, como a vocês, cheira-me a The Rock na Wrestlamania.

O Roman está a mostrar o talento geracional que é e que tanta gente viu nele.

Por outro lado, não sei se o propósito dos Retribution é fazer com que os Hurt Business semana após semana pareçam cada vez mais fixes, mas se é essa a ideia, props, trabalho do crl, cada vez gosto mais deles.

É o que dá quando não se força um wrestler pela garganta a baixo e se o deixa simplesmente trabalhar apenas com algumas guide lines.

 Sendo eu um NJPW fan, esta feud cheia de nuances cai muito bem dentro do estilo deles.

O Roman vs Jey foi brilhante, e até concordo que tenha sido logo a abrir, acho que seria um bocado maçador ver aquele tipo de combate se já tivesse visto duas horas de wrestling antes. 

O Miz vai demorar a fazer cash in, se tivesse que apostar diria que será no Edge.

Não me admirava que os Retribution acabassem por ser (ainda mais) enterrados de vez, e passado uns tempos o Dijakovic, o Thorne, a Mia e o outro que nao me lembro do nome voltam como eles mesmo e como se não tivessem feito parte disto.
