[TEW2020] What If: WCW Survived

Publicações recomendadas

Citação de Carson Wentz, há 14 horas:

Steiner a perder o primeiro combate após ganhar o título... BOOOOOOOOOOOO!

No fundo é isto.

WCW Monday Nitro (Monday, Wk1 September 2001)

Announcers

   Tony Schiavone 2k.gifScott Hudson.gifBobby Heenan 98.gif

Tony Schiavone | Scott Hudson | Bobby "The Brain" Heenan

[The camera pans to the arena as Goldberg's entrance music blares through the speakers. The crowd erupts with cheers as Goldberg marches down the ramp, his intensity palpable. He steps into the ring, takes a microphone, and begins to speak.]

Goldberg: Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you something. It's been a wild ride here in WCW. A few weeks ago, Scott Steiner thought he could manipulate the situation and keep me away from the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. He thought he could just throw obstacles in my path, but... I don't back down from a challenge.

[The crowd roars in agreement.]

Goldberg: Scott Steiner, you might be the World Champion now, but you didn't earn it the right way. You connived, you schemed, and you used every trick in the book to keep me away from that title. But you can't deny fate, Steiner. The universe has a funny way of bringing things full circle.

[The crowd chants "Goldberg! Goldberg!"]

Goldberg: So now, we stand here. You with that title around your waist, and me, the man who earned his shot by taking down some of the toughest in this business. Steiner, you and I, we're going to have a clash like never before. The intensity, the power, the ferocity - it's all going to come to a head, and there's no turning back.

[The camera zooms in on Goldberg's determined expression.]

Goldberg: I'm not just fighting for myself. I'm fighting for everyone you've wronged, everyone you've deceived. I'm fighting for every fan out there who wants to see a fair fight, who wants to see a true champion.

[Goldberg's gaze narrows.]

Goldberg: Steiner, you can talk about your brother, your Horsemen, your mind games all you want. But none of that matters in that ring. It's just you and me, man to man, and only one of us is walking out with that title. Steiner, you’re next!

[Goldberg drops the microphone and his music hits again as the crowd cheers. He exits the ring with a fiery determination in his eyes.]

Tony Schiavone: What a way to kick off tonight's Nitro! Goldberg is fired up and ready to take on Scott Steiner for that World Championship!

Bobby Heenan: And let me tell you, Tony, this is going to be a war! Steiner better be prepared because Goldberg is coming for him with a vengeance!

Scott Hudson: It's a collision course between two powerhouses, and it's going to be a match we won't forget anytime soon!

Konnan vs. Dustin Rhodes

Dustin Rhodes and Konnan engage in a hard-fought battle, each showcasing their unique styles. Rhodes executes his signature bulldog, grounding Konnan momentarily. But Konnan counters with his rolling clothesline, gaining momentum. As the match progresses, Rhodes targets Konnan's legs, softening him up for his finisher. Konnan fights back with his power moves, attempting to secure his spot in the finals. In the climax, Rhodes lands a devastating Final Reckoning, sealing the victory and earning his place in the tournament finals.

[Backstage area. Kanyon, visibly agitated, approaches Nash who is leaning against a wall. The tension is palpable as they lock eyes.]

Kanyon: (sarcastic) Oh, look who we have here. The big, bad Kevin Nash. Dodging a fight, huh?

Nash: (leans forward) You got a problem, Kanyon?

Kanyon: (voice raised) Yeah, I got a problem! You're telling everyone you didn't see a thing last week? Bullshit!

Nash: (laughs) You think I'm lying?

Kanyon: (angry) Yeah, damn right! You're scared, Nash. Scared of facing me like a man.

Nash: (smirks) You got some balls, Kanyon. I'll give you that.

Kanyon: (steps closer) You're damn right I do! And I'm not buying your crap for a second.

Nash: (leans in) You got a match next week, Kanyon. Against me.

Kanyon: (nods) Oh, it's on. You better bring everything you got, Nash.

Nash: (smirks) Don't you worry, Kanyon. I'll give you the beating you're begging for.

[They continue to exchange heated glares, the tension escalating. The confrontation ends as they both turn away, walking in opposite directions, leaving the air charged with anticipation for their upcoming match.]

[Booker T stands in the interview area, looking serious. Mean Gene Okerlund stands beside him with a microphone.]

Okerlund: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, Booker T!

Booker T: (nods) Thanks, Gene. You know, last week at Road Wild, I had a shot at getting back into the World Heavyweight Title picture. But things didn't go my way, man. I got blindsided, and it's like I'm back at square one.

Okerlund: So, what's your plan moving forward, Booker?

Booker T: (pauses) Gene, I need to refocus. I need to find that fire again, that hunger to become the champion. I know I've been through a lot, but I ain't done yet. I still got a lot left in the tank.

[As Booker T continues speaking, CM Punk's enters the interview area, microphone in hand.]

CM Punk: (smirking) Hold on a second, Book. I couldn't help but overhear you talking about your path to the title. Funny thing is, it seems like your path has more twists and turns than a soap opera.

Booker T: (raising an eyebrow) And you are?

CM Punk: (laughs) You can call me CM Punk. (leans in) Look, Booker, I'll be real with you. I was actually glad to see you lose at Road Wild. Someone with your, shall we say, colorful past shouldn't be representing WCW.

Booker T: (getting visibly agitated) Colorful past? You don't know a damn thing about me, Punk.

CM Punk: (shrugs) Hey, man, I'm just saying. And let's face it, you've been in this business for a long time, and yet, here you are, struggling to climb the ladder again.

Booker T: (stepping closer) You got a lot of nerve, Punk.

CM Punk: (smirks) Nerve is what got me where I am, Book. I don't sugarcoat things. I speak my mind.

Booker T: (takes a deep breath) Well, let me tell you something, Punk. You may run your mouth, but I've earned my respect in this business. I've faced tougher opponents than you, and I've overcome more challenges than you can imagine.

CM Punk: (chuckles) We'll see about that, Book.

[CM Punk starts to walk away, leaving Booker T fuming. The tension in the air is palpable as the two men exchange intense glares before Punk disappears from view.]

Bam Bam Bigelow: (visibly furious, pacing back and forth) Listen up, Cena! You think you're smart? You think you can just mess with me and get away with it? Well, you've got another thing coming, you punk!

(Bam Bam slams his fist against a nearby table)

Bam Bam Bigelow: You want a fight? You want to see how hardcore I can get? Fine! Fall Brawl, me and you, in a damn Hardcore match! No rules, no mercy, just pain and suffering! You're gonna regret ever crossing me, Cena!

(Bam Bam's eyes blaze with anger)

Bam Bam Bigelow: I'm gonna make you pay for what you did, Cena. You won't walk away the same. You won't walk away at all! You're stepping into my world, and I promise you, it's gonna be a living nightmare! Get ready, Cena, 'cause it's gonna be your blood on my hands!

AJ Styles (c) vs. Disco Inferno

In a spirited contest, AJ Styles successfully defended his WCW Cruiserweight title against Disco Inferno. Styles' high-flying maneuvers and agility proved too much for Inferno's antics. The match reached its climax when Styles executed his signature Styles Clash, securing the victory and retaining his championship. Disco Inferno's attempts at dirty tricks were met with Styles' determination, and the crowd cheered as he stood tall as the champion.

Scott Steiner: (bursting into Kronik's locker room) What the hell, man? You guys were supposed to be there for me last week when that bald son of a b*tch Goldberg attacked me!

Brian Adams: (getting up) Yo, Steiner, cool down. Our deal was clear as day – we got your back against the Horsemen, not against anyone else.

Scott Steiner: (fuming) You think Goldberg ain't a damn threat? He blindsided me right after our match against Sting and his fat’ass friends!

Bryan Clarke: (calmly) Our contract spells out what we do, man. No surprises.

Scott Steiner: (getting worked up) So you're telling me, even though I'm WCW freakin' World Heavyweight Champ, you won't lift a finger against that bald jack*ss unless I pay extra?

Brian Adams: (firmly) Yeah, you got it, Steiner.

Bryan Clarke: (nodding) You wanna be guarded against every chump in the locker room? It'll cost you, big time.

Scott Steiner: (smirking) Fine, damn it! I'll pay your extra price. I ain't lettin' no one mess with me.

Brian Adams: (hand out) It's a deal then?

Scott Steiner: (shaking Adams' hand) Yeah, yeah, whatever. Just make sure you do your damn job this time.

(Steiner storms out, leaving Kronik in the locker room, satisfied with their new arrangement.)

WCW World Tag Team Championship

image.gifimage.gifimage.pngimage.gifimage.gif

Natural Born Thrillers (c) vs. Nature's Buff

Flair and Bagwell, using their experience, took control early in the match, isolating Palumbo with classic tag team strategies. Flair's chops and Bagwell's power moves kept the Thrillers on the defensive. The crowd was divided, with the Horsemen's cunning tactics drawing boos and the Thrillers' resilience drawing cheers.

The momentum shifted as Palumbo powered out of a near-pin situation and tagged in O'Haire. The Thrillers' agility and youth brought a new level of energy to the match, showcasing impressive double-team maneuvers. However, Flair's crafty tactics and Bagwell's brawling style kept them competitive.

As the match reached its climax, chaos ensued. Flair pulled Bagwell out of the ring, engaging in a ringside brawl that distracted the referee. Meanwhile, Dustin Rhodes appeared out of nowhere, charging towards the ring. With the referee's attention diverted, Rhodes slid a chair into the ring, allowing Bagwell to deliver a decisive chair shot to O'Haire.

Bagwell covered O'Haire as Flair distracted the referee, and the count was made, leading to Nature's Buff securing the WCW World Tag Team titles. As Rhodes celebrated with the new champions, the Natural Born Thrillers were left stunned and frustrated in the ring, questioning the integrity of the match's outcome.

[The scene unfolds backstage in a dimly lit room, with Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) seated on a folding chair, engrossed in watching old wrestling tapes. The room is filled with the nostalgic glow of the vintage footage. Kevin Nash, his tall frame towering over DDP, approaches him.]

Nash: (in a casual tone) Hey, DDP. You got a minute?

DDP: (looking up and smiling) Big Kev! Always got time for you, brother. What's up?

Nash: (leaning in closer) Look, I got a big match next week against Kanyon. I was wondering, you know, if you'd be in my corner?

DDP: (grinning) You got it, Nash. You don't even have to ask. I'll be right there with you.

[DDP extends his hand, and Nash firmly shakes it, both sharing a sense of camaraderie.]

Nash: (appreciative) Thanks, D. Means a lot.

[Nash begins to exit the room, but as he does, DDP's eyes shift towards a tape labeled "CCTV" resting nearby. Curiosity gets the better of him, and he picks it up, sliding it into the VCR. The screen flickers to life, revealing surveillance footage from a recent incident.]

DDP: (muttering to himself) What have we got here?

[As DDP watches the footage intently, his expression shifts from curiosity to one of deep concern. The events unfolding on the screen seem to hold a secret, one that he is determined to uncover.]

[The scene fades out with DDP engrossed in the CCTV footage, his mind racing to make sense of the revelation.]

______________________

[In a remote and arid location somewhere in the heart of the United States, Sting, Samoa Joe, and Billy Kidman stand together, surrounded by the desolate landscape. The harsh wind blows, carrying with it a sense of urgency and determination.]

Sting: (gazing into the distance) Out here, in the middle of nowhere, we find ourselves facing a battle that transcends the wrestling ring. It's a battle for honor, for trust, for everything that Project Prodigy stands for.

Samoa Joe: (his voice carrying a sense of intensity) The attackers that blindsided me, the ones who thought they could take me down from behind, they revealed themselves. Buff Bagwell and Ric Flair, you may have tried to knock me down, but you've only fueled my fire.

Sting: (nodding solemnly) And then there's Dustin Rhodes. A man who I believed had changed, who I thought had turned his back on the darkness. But now he stands aligned with the very forces that opposed his own father, Dusty Rhodes. It's a betrayal that cuts deep.

Samoa Joe: (standing tall) This isn't just about settling old scores. This is about standing against deceit, against a faction that believes they can manipulate us. The Four Horsemen may have history on their side, but we've got something even stronger – our unity.

Kidman: (his voice unwavering) And as we stand in this desolate landscape, it's a reflection of what's to come for the Horsemen. A barren path awaits them, a path of defeat and reckoning.

Sting: (clenching his fists) Next week, on Nitro, we'll reveal the missing piece of our puzzle, the one who's going to fight alongside us in the WAR GAMES match at Fall Brawl. It's a declaration of war against the Horsemen.

Samoa Joe: (the fire in his eyes burning bright) Horsemen, you've underestimated us. You've underestimated the power of unity and the strength of our cause. We're not just fighting for ourselves; we're fighting for every fan who believes in us.

Kidman: (determined) So mark your calendars, Horsemen. Nitro next week is when we unveil our partner, our ally in this battle. The location might change, but our purpose remains the same – to take you down, once and for all.

United States Championship

image.gifimage.pngimage.gif

Shane Helms vs. Dustin Rhodes

In the finals of the United States Championship Tournament, Dustin Rhodes and Shane Helms lock horns in a match that showcases the clash of their distinct styles. Rhodes, the cunning and unpredictable veteran, takes on Helms, the high-flying and agile cruiserweight.

The match starts with Helms using his speed advantage to outmaneuver Rhodes. He executes a series of arm drags and quick kicks, keeping Rhodes on the defensive. Rhodes, however, uses his experience to counter Helms' offense, using power moves and submission holds to wear him down.

As the match progresses, Helms gains the upper hand with his aerial maneuvers. He hits a beautiful crossbody from the top rope, followed by a springboard dropkick that sends Rhodes to the mat. Helms continues to build momentum, hitting a flying headscissors takedown and a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.

Helms locks in a modified version of the Boston Crab, putting pressure on Rhodes' back. It seems like Helms has the match all but won as he targets Rhodes' injured back. He positions himself for the Vertebreaker, his finishing move.

Just as Helms is about to execute the Vertebreaker, Ric Flair makes his presence felt. He comes down to ringside, distracting the referee and causing a momentary chaos. Rhodes capitalizes on the distraction and delivers a low blow to Helms, much to the shock of the audience.

With Helms stunned and in pain, Rhodes quickly follows up with his finishing move, the Curtain Call. The referee turns his attention back to the match and counts the pinfall, declaring Dustin Rhodes the winner and the new United States Champion.

______________________

[The arena is buzzing with mixed reactions as Dustin Rhodes stands in the center of the ring, the United States Championship gleaming on his shoulder.]

Dustin Rhodes: (grabs a microphone) Hold on a second. I've got something to say. You all saw it - I just became the United States Champion, and I'm damn proud of it!

[The crowd's reaction is a mix of cheers and boos.]

Dustin Rhodes: But you know what? This isn't just about a championship. This is about respect, about seizing opportunities that were denied to me for far too long.

[He paces the ring, looking serious and intense.]

Dustin Rhodes: Sting, Samoa Joe, let me lay it out for you. You've been parading around with your fancy ideals, your "Project Prodigy," thinking you're the righteous heroes. But what did you ever do for me?

[Crowd murmurs in response.]

Dustin Rhodes: Sting, you're so focused on your legacy that you never cared about the struggles of others. When I lost that championship, where were you? Celebrating your own victories while leaving me in the dust!

[Some fans boo, while others nod in agreement.]

Dustin Rhodes: And then came Rey Mysterio. You, Sting, made him your golden boy, and I was left to deal with the bitterness of defeat. It was then that Ric Flair approached me, offering a way to regain my dignity, to become relevant again.

[The crowd starts to react more loudly, some in confusion, some in support, and some in anger.]

Dustin Rhodes: Flair gave me the chance to take down Mysterio, to even the score. And yes, I laid the trap for Samoa Joe, because Flair did for me what Sting never did - he gave me the chance to fight back.

[The crowd's reactions grow louder and more varied.]

Dustin Rhodes: So, when you wonder why I joined the Four Horsemen, when you wonder why I left "Project Prodigy," just remember that it's about time someone looked out for me. And with this United States Championship on my shoulder, I'll show you all that I'm not the forgotten Rhodes anymore.

[Dustin drops the microphone and raises the United States Championship high, a mix of cheers and jeers echoing through the arena.]

[Jeff Jarrett and Buff Bagwell make their entrance, joined by Ric Flair. The trio congratulates Dustin Rhodes in the ring, with Flair patting him on the back and nodding approvingly. Jarrett and Bagwell take the microphones.]

Jeff Jarrett: Ladies and gentlemen, did you just hear that? Dustin Rhodes has spoken the truth! He's done what no one else would - he stepped up and took what he deserved!

[The crowd reacts with a mix of boos and cheers.]

Buff Bagwell: (pointing to Rhodes) That's right! He saw the light, he saw the opportunity, and he seized it! And together, with the Four Horsemen, we're unstoppable!

[Flair raises his hand, and the crowd erupts with "Woo!" chants.]

Ric Flair: This, my friends, this is the dawn of a new era! Dustin Rhodes, United States Champion. Bagwell and me, the World Tag Team Champions. And soon, the Horsemen will reign supreme once again in War Games!

[The four men raise their hands, forming the iconic "four fingers" gesture.]

[The show fades to black, leaving the Four Horsemen standing triumphant in the center of the ring, their alliance stronger than ever before.]

Punk vs. Booker...

[The show opens with the familiar WCW Monday Nitro intro, followed by the live crowd shots from the Leavey Center.]

[Tony Schiavone, Scott Hudson, and Bobby Heenan are in the booth.]

Schiavone: "Welcome to the last Monday Nitro before Fall Brawl! We're live from the Leavey Center in Santa Monica, California. I'm Tony Schiavone, alongside Scott Hudson and Bobby Heenan."

Hudson: "This is a stacked card tonight, with AJ Styles facing Christopher Daniels in a non-title match, Sting, Samoa Joe, and Billy Kidman taking on 3 Count, and Booker T facing Johnny Swinger. But the big match of the night is the contract signing for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship match between Goldberg and Scott Steiner, hosted by Eric Bischoff."

Heenan: "This is going to be a wild night, folks. Don't miss a minute of the action!"

AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels

Styles showcased his aerial maneuvers and agility, while Daniels impressed with technical skills. Styles hit the Styles Clash to secure the victory.

Skipper: Listen up, you all! I've been watching this show week after week, and I can't help but notice that AJ Styles is walking around with that shiny Cruiserweight Championship. But you see, I've been overlooked for far too long. I've got the skills, the style, and the charisma that defines a true champion. So, AJ Styles, at Fall Brawl, I want my shot at that title.

[The crowd stirs, some cheers and some boos. The camera cuts to AJ Styles in the ring, his face a mix of curiosity and determination.]

Styles: (grinning) Elix, you want a shot at this? You've got it! I've never been one to back down from a challenge. So consider your challenge accepted!

[Skipper smirks, clearly pleased with the outcome of his interruption. He drops the microphone and struts off, leaving Styles in the ring, the crowd buzzing with anticipation for their upcoming clash.]

Sting, Samoa Joe and Billy Kidman vs. 3 Count

Sting and Samoa Joe dominated the early going, with Joe hitting a powerslam on Evan Karagias and Sting hitting a Scorpion Death Drop on Kid Romeo.

3 Count made a brief comeback, but Sting and Joe quickly regained control. Billy Kidman tagged in and hit a Shooting Star Press on Kid Ego.

Sting finished off 3 Count with a Scorpion Deathlock to Kid Ego, and the faces celebrated their victory.

______________________

[As the ring clears from the thrilling match, the arena reverberates with tension as the ominous music of The Four Horsemen starts playing. Out comes Ric Flair, Jeff Jarrett, Buff Bagwell, and Dustin Rhodes, swaggering with arrogance. They step to the forefront of the ramp, microphones in hand, and begin taunting Team Sting.]

Ric Flair: "Well, well, well, what do we have here? Team Sting, looking a bit short-handed, wouldn't you say?"

Jeff Jarrett: "Yeah, seems like your little party's missing someone, Sting."

Buff Bagwell: "You're all talk and no action, just like your so-called partners."

Ric Flair: "Tell us, Sting, who's gonna stand up and join your noble cause, huh?"

[Just as tensions boil over and a brawl erupts in the ring, a familiar figure emerges from the crowd, all masked up. It's Rey Mysterio, determined and focused. He dashes to the ring, throwing punches at the Horsemen and helping Team Sting regain their footing. The crowd goes wild as Rey's unexpected appearance turns the tide.]

Tony Schiavone: "Wait a minute, folks! Is that who I think it is? It's Rey Mysterio! Rey Mysterio is here!"

Bobby Heenan: "Look at him go!"

[With Rey's help, Team Sting manages to clear the ring of The Four Horsemen. As they stand tall, the commentators begin to speculate on Rey's potential involvement in the upcoming War Games match.]

Scott Hudson: "This changes everything, guys! Rey Mysterio might just be the fourth member of Team Sting!"

Bobby Heenan: "But look at him, he's clearly hurt! He's favoring that leg. Will he be ready for the brutal War Games match at Fall Brawl?"

[The scene ends with Team Sting triumphant, but a worried glance is shared as Rey clutches his arm, visibly injured from his brave intervention.]

Booker T vs. Johnny Swinger

Booker T dominated the early going, with a series of punches and kicks. Swinger tried to fight back, but Booker was too much for him.

Swinger made a brief comeback, but Booker quickly regained control. Booker hit a spinebuster and a Book End, but Swinger kicked out at two.

Booker finished off Swinger with the Scissor Kick for the victory.

Tony Schiavone: "Booker T has just defeated Johnny Swinger, and he's celebrating in the ring. But look out! It's Straight Edge Truth!"

Bobby Heenan: "This is not good for Booker T. He's outnumbered and outgunned."

[Straight Edge Truth attacks Booker T from behind, and they beat him down. CM Punk grabs a microphone and taunts Booker T.]

CM Punk: Ladies and gentlemen, my name is CM Punk, and I am the straight edge savior of professional wrestling. I am here to cleanse this industry of all the filth and corruption, and I am starting with Booker T.

CM Punk: Booker T, you are a disgrace to this sport. You are a criminal, a thug, and a bully. You have no respect for the rules, and you have no respect for your opponents. You think you can get away with anything because you're a big star, but I'm here to tell you that you're not above the law.

CM Punk: Remember when you said you put things behind your back? Well, you should have looked behind your back. Because now you're going to pay the price.

CM Punk: I just came out of Eric Bischoff's office, and he told me that we're going to be going one-on-one next Sunday at Fall Brawl. So get ready, Booker T. Because I'm going to take you down and show you what it means to be a true champion.

CM Punk: I'm going to expose you for the fraud that you are. I'm going to make you regret ever stepping into the ring with me. And I'm going to send a message to all the other criminals in this industry: your time is up.

CM Punk: So get ready, Booker T. Because I am coming for you."

Kanyon vs. Kevin Nash

The match began with intense back-and-forth action, as Kanyon showcased his resilience and determination to make the crowd rally behind him. Nash, on the other hand, displayed his new-found aggressiveness, targeting Kanyon with powerful strikes and holds.

As the match progressed, the referee inadvertently got caught in the crossfire and took a nasty bump, leaving both men without official supervision. Seizing the opportunity, Kanyon went under the ring and retrieved a chair, ready to use it against Nash.

Just when it appeared Kanyon was on the verge of striking Nash with the weapon, DDP's music hit, and Diamond Dallas Page rushed to the ring, seemingly coming to Nash's aid. The crowd buzzed with anticipation.

But as DDP was able to defuse the situation, he turned his back on Kevin Nash. Nash seized the moment, grabbing the weapon from Kanyon's hands and attempting to swing it at DDP, only for DDP to block it at the last second.

DDP then struck Nash with his trademark Diamond Cutter, stunning the audience. Kanyon capitalized on this chaos, hitting the Flatliner on Nash for the three-count victory.

Road Warrior Animal: (flexes his muscles) Well, well, well. Look who's here, Abyss. The Legion of the Beast, ready to take over this tag team division.

Abyss: Beast.

Road Warrior Animal: That's right, my man. And you know what that means? We gotta show these WCW tag teams what real power looks like.

Abyss: Power.

Road Warrior Animal: Damn right. We got those champs, O'Haire and Palumbo, strutting around like peacocks. Then there's that odd couple of Flair and Bagwell. And don't even get me started on that Punk and Moore tandem.

Abyss: Tandem.

Road Warrior Animal: Yeah, Abyss, a tandem that's nothing compared to the Legion of the Beast. And what about KroniK? They might be big, but they ain't beasts like us.

Abyss: Us.

Road Warrior Animal: That's what I'm talking about! And then there's Team Canada, thinking they can bring some maple syrup magic to the ring.

Abyss: Magic.

Road Warrior Animal: Magic? Nah, Abyss, what we got is way beyond magic. It's pure, unadulterated domination.

Chris Harris (walking into the scene) Hey, hold up a minute.

James Storm: You two talk about every tag team except us, America's Most Wanted? What's the deal?

Chris Harris: Yeah, we're not just some afterthought.

Road Warrior Animal: (chuckles) Well, well, if it isn't the Wanted Cowboys. What do you want, boys?

James Storm: We want respect, just like anyone else. And we're here to make sure you know that.

Chris Harris: We don't need to be overlooked.

Road Warrior Animal: Respect, huh? Well, how about this? Next week on Nitro, the Legion of the Beast against America's Most Wanted. You boys up for that?

James Storm: (pauses) You're on.

Chris Harris: Yeah, let's see if the so-called "beasts" can back up their words.

Road Warrior Animal: That's what I like to hear. See you in the ring, AMW.

Abyss: Ring.

Road Warrior Animal: Damn right, Abyss. See you in the ring, where we'll prove we're the true beasts of WCW. Oooh what a rush!

Abyss: Rush!

[The segment ends as Animal and Abyss walk away, leaving AMW looking determined.]

Shane Helms vs. Shane Douglas

The match started with the two Shanes exchanging holds and counters. Helms used his speed and agility to take advantage of Douglas's size and power. Douglas used his experience and technical wrestling skills to try to wear Helms down.

The match went back and forth, with both wrestlers getting the upper hand. Helms hit Douglas with a hurricanrana and a DDT. Douglas hit Helms with a suplex and a powerbomb. Both wrestlers were down, but neither one was willing to give up.

The match reached a crescendo when Helms hit Douglas with his finisher, the Fallaway Slam, for the win.

______________________

As Shane Helms celebrates his victory, the arena darkens, and the distinctive theme of Team Canada begins to blare through the speakers. The crowd reacts with a mix of anticipation and uncertainty as Lance Storm and Mike Awesome step out onto the stage, united in their intention to make an impact.

Helms, aware of the potential threat, cautiously watches their approach. Without wasting any time, Storm and Awesome charge down the ramp, closing the distance between them and Helms.

As they reach the ring, Storm delivers a quick kick to Helms' midsection, doubling him over. Awesome follows up with a massive clothesline, sending Helms sprawling onto the canvas. The referee quickly exits the ring, sensing the danger of the situation.

With Helms down, Storm and Awesome continue their assault, trading punishing stomps and strikes. The crowd boos loudly, expressing their disapproval of the unsportsmanlike attack.

Security personnel rush to the ring, but Team Canada seems unfazed by their presence. Storm grabs the microphone and taunts the fallen Helms, questioning his abilities and mocking his resilience.

As the situation intensifies, WCW officials pour out from the backstage area, finally forcing Storm and Awesome to retreat. Helms, though battered, manages to rise to his feet with the help of the ropes, glaring at Team Canada as they retreat up the ramp.

[Mean Gene Okerlund stands backstage with a microphone in hand, ready to conduct an interview. He begins by addressing the camera, announcing that two more matches have been officially added to the already stacked Fall Brawl card.]

Okerlund: Ladies and gentlemen, we've just received word that Eric Bischoff has made two blockbuster matches official for Fall Brawl! First up, it's going to be CM Punk taking on Booker T in what promises to be a hard-hitting showdown. And that's not all! We'll also see the one and only Diamond Dallas Page facing off against Kevin Nash! These matches are sure to deliver!

[As the camera pans to the side, John Cena steps into the frame, a sly grin on his face. He's dressed in his signature gear, and he can't wait to share his thoughts about his upcoming Hardcore Match against Bam Bam Bigelow.]

Mean Gene Okerlund: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with none other than John Cena, who's set for a big Hardcore Match against Bam Bam Bigelow at Fall Brawl. John, what's going through your mind as you prepare for this intense showdown?

John Cena (in a rap style😞

Yo, yo, yo, listen up, don't you miss a beat,

Fall Brawl's coming, Bigelow, take a seat.

Hardcore match, you think you're tough,

But I'm 'bout to show you, man, enough's enough.

Okerlund: Strong words, John! What can the fans expect from this Hardcore Match?

Cena (rapping😞

Brace yourselves, it's gonna be wild,

Chairs and tables, I'm bringin' the style.

Bigelow, you're gonna feel the pain I inflict,

In this hardcore realm, you're just a convict.

Okerlund: You've got a reputation for your unique style and approach. How do you plan on using that to your advantage in this match?

Cena (rapping😞

My style's unorthodox, it's hard to predict,

I'll grab anything I can, and pain I'll inflict.

Kendo sticks, steel chairs, you name it, it's mine,

Bigelow, you'll see, you'll make me shine.

Okerlund: It sounds like you're more than ready for this challenge. What's your message to Bam Bam Bigelow as you head into Fall Brawl?

Cena (rapping😞

Bigelow, you're big, but that don't impress me,

At Fall Brawl, you're facin' the real MC.

Get ready for pain, get ready for the fight,

I'm bringin' the fire, gonna light up the night.

Okerlund: There you have it, folks! John Cena is bringing the intensity and attitude to Fall Brawl's Hardcore Match. Get ready for an explosive showdown!

-----

[Eric Bischoff enters the ring and takes the mic.]

Eric Bischoff: Ladies and gentlemen, we're just a few days away from Fall Brawl, and it's time to make things official. Please welcome the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Scott Steiner, and his challenger, Goldberg!

[Steiner's theme music hits as Scott Steiner makes his way to the ring, WCW World Heavyweight Championship slung over his shoulder. He enters the ring and stares down Goldberg.]

Eric Bischoff: Gentlemen, please take your seats.

[Steiner takes his seat, glaring at Goldberg who stands across from him.]

Eric Bischoff: First, let's address the contract on the table. This document outlines the terms and conditions of your upcoming match at Fall Brawl. Both parties have reviewed it?

[Steiner grumbles and nods, while Goldberg simply nods.]

Eric Bischoff: Excellent. Now, before you sign, I want you to address each other and let the world know what's going through your minds.

[Steiner leans back in his chair, smirking at Goldberg.]

Scott Steiner: You listen up, baldy. I ain't got much to say 'cause actions speak louder than words. I've beaten 'em all, and you, Goldberg, you're next. No more undefeated streak for you, 'cause I'm a genetic freak and you can’t defeat me.

[Goldberg stands tall, unflinching.]

Goldberg: Steiner, you've got the title. You've got those two [points at KroniK]. But you don't have my respect. And at Fall Brawl, that's what you're gonna lose. Respect for the past, present, and future. I'm gonna show the world that your reign is over.

[Steiner chuckles and leans forward.]

Scott Steiner: You talk a big game, but I'm the Big Bad Booty Daddy, and I walk the talk. I don't need respect. I need the gold, and I'm keeping it. You wanna take it? You gotta go through me, and that ain't happening.

Goldberg: Then consider it a done deal, Steiner. Fall Brawl, I'm taking that title and restoring respect to it. Sign it.

[Steiner signs the contract with a grin. Goldberg signs it with a confident nod.]

Eric Bischoff: It's official! Goldberg vs. Steiner for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Fall Brawl! May the best man win!

[Goldberg's music plays, and he begins to exit the ring following the contract signing, nodding to the cheering crowd.]

[As Goldberg reaches the ropes, out of nowhere, KroniK (Brian Adams and Bryan Clarke) rush the ring and attack him.]

[Goldberg, caught off guard but not backing down, fights back against KroniK, exchanging powerful blows. The crowd roars in surprise at the sudden brawl.]

[Just when Goldberg begins to regain the upper hand, Scott Steiner enters the fray. He sneaks up behind Goldberg and delivers a devastating low blow, causing Goldberg to drop to his knees in agony.]

[KroniK and Steiner ruthlessly assault Goldberg, stomping and pounding on him relentlessly. The crowd's cheers turn to a chorus of boos as they watch the brutal beatdown.]

[Finally, Steiner stands tall over the fallen Goldberg, holding the WCW World Heavyweight Title high in the air. The trio revels in their merciless assault as the show comes to a close, setting the stage for their clash at Fall Brawl.]
