[The camera cuts to a dimly lit backstage area, where the menacing silhouette of Scott Steiner comes into view. His WCW World Heavyweight Championship gleams under the low light as KroniK flanks him on either side, their imposing presence accentuating the intensity of the moment.]

Scott Steiner: [Steiner's voice rumbles with arrogance] Well, well, well... if it isn't the so-called unstoppable force, Goldberg, tryna step into the path of the genetic freak, Big Poppa Pump! [He smirks] You see, Goldberg, I ain't some chump you can just run through and take my gold.

[Steiner leans closer to the camera, the championship belt resting on his massive shoulder.]

Scott Steiner: [He continues with a sneer] I've worked too damn hard, sweatin' and bleedin', to be standin' here with this gold around my neck. You think you're just gonna stroll back into WCW and snatch it away from me? [He chuckles] Ain't that cute?

[KroniK, with stern faces, nod in agreement.]

Scott Steiner: [His voice grows more menacing] Now, let me make one thing clear, Goldberg. I've got these two monsters standin' right here, KroniK, [He points to them] and they're more than ready to unleash hell on anyone who tries to mess with me. So, you better believe this ain't gonna be a walk in the park for you.

[Steiner's grin widens as he looks back at his championship, fingers caressing the gold.]

Scott Steiner: [His tone becomes eerily calm] Tonight, when I lock in the Steiner Recliner, I don't care how many times you've been champion or how many people you beat during that old streak of yours [He scoffs] You're gonna tap, or you're gonna pass out. It's that simple, Goldberg.

[The camera zooms in on Steiner's wild eyes as he leans even closer to the lens.]

Scott Steiner: [His voice drops to a menacing whisper] I'm walking outta Fall Brawl with this gold, and there ain't a damn thing you or anyone else can do about it. So, Goldberg, prepare yourself for a world of hurt like you've never imagined. Because tonight, the genetic freak, Big Poppa Pump, is gonna show you why I'm the man with the most freaks, and why I'm the WCW World Heavyweight Champion!

[Steiner bursts into a sinister laugh, while KroniK stands in the background, ready to back up their leader, as the camera fades out.]

Buff Bagwell: (flexing his muscles in the mirror) Ain't no way those punks can stand up to the Four Horsemen.

Dustin Rhodes: (smirking as he tapes his fists) Especially not that Rey Mysterio. Rey, remind me who owned that United States Championship before me?

Ric Flair: (raising his finger for emphasis) Dustin, you tell 'em. Kid, you're the Natural, and tonight, you'll prove it again.

Jeff Jarrett: (strumming his guitar more aggressively) Sting, you may be an icon, but you're stepping into our world. You won't come out the same.

Buff Bagwell: (cracking his knuckles) And Samoa Joe, you're gonna find out why they call us the Horsemen.

Dustin Rhodes: (looking at himself in the mirror, confident) Rey Mysterio, tonight you'll see what it means to mess with the American Nightmare.

Ric Flair: (grabbing his robe and putting it on) Whoo! Gentlemen, we're the most elite faction in wrestling history, and tonight, we ride into War Games and leave a path of destruction!

Bam Bam Bigelow vs. John Cena – Hardcore Match

The match began with a frenetic pace as Cena and Bam Bam immediately sought out weapons beneath the ring. A steel chair was Bam Bam's weapon of choice, while Cena opted for a kendo stick. The early moments were a symphony of pain, with both men delivering savage chair shots and kendo stick strikes. Their bodies quickly displayed the physical toll of these vicious encounters.

Cena attempted an early Protobomb, but Bam Bam countered with a monstrous DDT onto the unforgiving steel chair. Cena's resilience shone through as he miraculously kicked out at the very last moment, refusing to be defeated so easily.

As the match progressed, Bam Bam introduced a table into the equation, setting it up ominously in one corner of the ring. Cena, never one to be outdone, produced a trash can lid and a fire extinguisher, wielding them like tools of destruction.

The chaos spilled to the outside as they brawled among the fans, using whatever they could find to inflict damage. Back inside the ring, Bam Bam executed a daring diving headbutt from the top rope onto Cena, who narrowly escaped the pinfall.

Cena, however, was not to be denied. He retaliated with a vicious low blow and retrieved his chain from under the ring. Wrapping the chain around his fist, he struck Bam Bam, causing a gory crimson mask to appear on Bam Bam's face.

With Bam Bam now bleeding profusely, Cena seized the moment. Wrapping the chain around his fist once more, he struck Bam Bam squarely in the face, causing him to collapse onto the table set up in the corner.

Cena's audacity knew no bounds as he climbed the turnbuckle with his chain-wrapped fist raised high. With the crowd holding its collective breath, he executed a devastating fist drop through the table, the impact resounding throughout the arena. Bam Bam lay incapacitated amidst the wreckage.

Cena, driven by a thirst for victory at any cost, covered Bam Bam for the three-count, securing a controversial and hard-fought win. Medical personnel rushed to the ring to tend to both competitors, as the hardcore match had exacted a brutal toll on their bodies.

Boa solução para o principal problema de como descalçar a bota de tanto o Booker T quanto o CM Punk não poderem sair daqui com uma clean defeat.

E F's in chat for Bam Bam.

Diamond Dallas Page vs. Kevin Nash

The match begins with Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) and Kevin Nash engaging in a psychological game of cat and mouse. Nash, the cunning heel, employs underhanded tactics, exploiting the referee's back turned to rake DDP's eyes and choke him against the ropes. DDP, the resilient babyface, fights back with his signature strikes and crowd-pleasing maneuvers.

Nash's power comes into play as he gains control, using his immense size advantage to keep DDP grounded. He taunts the crowd and DDP, showing no remorse for his actions. The crowd's support for DDP intensifies as he starts a comeback, countering Nash's offense with his quick and agile moves.

As the match progresses, Nash gets dangerously close to securing victory, hitting his Jackknife Powerbomb on DDP. With the referee counting, it appears Nash might steal the win, but DDP defiantly kicks out at the last moment, igniting a frenzy in the audience.

The tension builds as Kanyon's music hits, and he emerges at the entrance ramp. His unpredictable demeanor keeps everyone guessing. He looks torn, teetering on the edge of helping DDP or betraying him. Nash, seeing Kanyon's arrival, becomes distracted, allowing DDP to regain momentum.

Kanyon slowly walks to ringside, causing further chaos and uncertainty. The crowd's excitement reaches a fever pitch as DDP, reinvigorated, rallies back with a Diamond Cutter, taking Nash down for the pin.

DDP secures the victory, earning the redemption he sought. Kanyon, still unpredictable, slides into the ring post-match, seemingly conflicted. He offers DDP a hug, a gesture of reconciliation and perhaps even remorse for his earlier actions.

DDP, however, refuses Kanyon's offer, shoving him away. He sternly tells Kanyon that he should not have interfered in this match, emphasizing that he wanted to win on his own merit. With a heavy heart, DDP exits the ring, leaving Kanyon standing there, visibly confused and filled with sadness.

As DDP makes his way back up the ramp, the camera captures Kanyon's internal struggle, conveying the turmoil and regret he feels for his actions. The crowd watches in silence, unsure of what to make of this unexpected turn of events, leaving a sense of unresolved tension hanging in the air.

Sting, Samoa Joe and Kidman & Rey Jr. vs. The Four Horsemen (Ric Flair, Jeff Jarrett, Buff Bagwell and Dustin Rhodes) – WAR GAMES

The arena was electric as the crowd anticipated the return of the iconic War Games match. The two-ring steel cage structure loomed ominously, setting the stage for an intense battle between two teams with deep-seated animosities.

Sting, Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio Jr., and Billy Kidman entered the intimidating structure, representing the honor of WCW and seeking retribution against the villainous Four Horsemen faction comprised of Jeff Jarrett, Ric Flair, Buff Bagwell, and Dustin Rhodes.

The match reached a brutal crescendo as Dustin Rhodes entered the ring. His size and strength made him a formidable presence, but he met his match in the unyielding Samoa Joe. Joe's resilience was on full display as he absorbed Rhodes' punishment and dished out punishment of his own, including a thunderous Muscle Buster.

As the final seconds ticked away, it was time for the last entrant, the iconic Sting, to join the fray. The crowd roared with anticipation as Sting entered the battlefield, wielding his trusty baseball bat.

With all eight competitors inside the cage, chaos ensued. Bodies collided with steel, and blood was drawn as the battle raged on. The Four Horsemen tried every trick in the book to secure victory, but the spirit of teamwork and retribution burned within Sting, Joe, Rey Jr., and Kidman.

In the climax of this brutal contest, Sting locked his legendary Scorpion Death Lock on Buff Bagwell. The pain was too much to bear, and Buff Bagwell had no choice but to submit. The bell rang, signaling victory for the team of Sting, Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio Jr., and Billy Kidman.

Goldberg vs. Scott Steiner (c)

The match began with intense anticipation as Goldberg, backed by a raucous crowd, stared down Scott Steiner. The two heavyweights locked up, showcasing their incredible strength. Goldberg quickly asserted his dominance with powerful slams and strikes, driving Steiner to the mat.

As the match progressed, Steiner's resilience showed, and he began to gain momentum with his technical prowess. He focused on weakening Goldberg's legs, setting up for his finishing move, the Steiner Recliner.

However, the tension escalated when KroniK, the hired muscle of Steiner, made their way to ringside. The referee was distracted, trying to maintain control of the match as Goldberg countered Steiner's offense.

In a pivotal moment, Goldberg charged for his signature Spear. But in a shocking twist, Steiner sidestepped, and Goldberg collided with the referee, sending him crashing to the mat. The arena erupted in chaos.

With the official incapacitated, a second referee sprinted to the ring to resume control of the match. Goldberg, regaining his composure, unleashed a flurry of powerful moves on Steiner, leaving the audience in awe.

The second referee counted the pinfall as Goldberg covered Steiner. However, amidst the confusion, the original referee, still groggy, noticed Scott Steiner's foot on the ropes, breaking up the pinfall attempt.

As the second referee raised Goldberg's hand in victory, the initial referee vehemently protested, pointing out the foot on the ropes. The two officials engaged in a heated argument, with the fate of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship hanging in the balance.

Goldberg, oblivious to the officiating controversy, celebrated his championship win with an American flag in hand. The crowd roared with excitement, but the dispute between the referees continued, casting a shadow of controversy over the monumental victory.

The broadcast concluded with Goldberg proudly displaying his championship, while the two referees, still embroiled in disagreement, left the audience with lingering questions about the legitimacy of the outcome.

LOL esse final, tantos shenanigans que parecia a WWE. Agora temos 2 world champions?

É bom para as ratings. Bom ppv, serviu bastante para terminar algumas histórias e dar grandes avanços noutras.

Tragic Turn of Events Leads to Controversial Ending at WCW's Fall Brawl

By Dave Meltzer | Wrestling Observer

In an unprecedented turn of events, World Championship Wrestling (WCW) faced an unexpected upheaval at its annual Fall Brawl pay-per-view, held at the StubHub! Center. The tragic backdrop of the recent 9/11 terrorist attacks, which had sent shockwaves across the nation just five days prior, cast a somber shadow over the wrestling world and significantly impacted WCW's plans for its marquee event.

While the exact details of the original booking for Fall Brawl remained closely guarded within WCW's inner circle, it was clear to many within the organization that the cataclysmic events of September 11th led to a decisive shift in creative direction.

The most notable alteration was the choice of the final match to close the pay-per-view. Traditionally, Fall Brawl has culminated with the brutal War Games match, a battleground where rivalries are settled with the most visceral of confrontations. However, in light of the ongoing national tragedy, an executive decision was made to deviate from this norm.

Rather than concluding with the War Games spectacle, the event was capped off by a controversial ending in which Goldberg emerged victorious. The abrupt conclusion left fans and insiders speculating about the possible avenues that WCW might explore in the aftermath of this perplexing finish.

As the wrestling world continues to reel from the tragic aftermath of 9/11, the implications of WCW's decision are far-reaching and uncertain. Wrestling fans will undoubtedly be watching closely as WCW navigates these uncharted waters, uncertain of the path that lies ahead.

E a culpa da overbooked mess é do 9/11? Oh well, faz sentido, o ChatGP atualmente faz-me lembrar o Vince Russo em certos momentos. Can't wait pelo Bin Laden on a Pole match.

WCW Monday Nitro (Monday, Wk3 September 2001)

Announcers

Tony Schiavone | Scott Hudson | Bobby "The Brain" Heenan

[The Centrum Arena is filled with anticipation as the pyrotechnics light up the arena. The camera pans to the commentary booth where Tony Schiavone, Scott Hudson, and Bobby Heenan are ready to kick off the show.]

Tony Schiavone: (Excited) Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Monday Nitro! We're coming to you live from the Centrum Arena in Utah, and what a night we have in store!

Scott Hudson: (Nodding) That's right, Tony. Fall Brawl was a wild event, and I can't wait to see what unfolds tonight.

Bobby Heenan: (Smirking) You're in for a treat, folks. But before we get started, it seems like we have an interruption.

[The familiar entrance music of Eric Bischoff hits, and the crowd's reaction is mixed. Bischoff makes his way down to the ring with a confident demeanor.]

Eric Bischoff: (Holding a mic) Ladies and gentlemen, if I could have your attention, please.

[The crowd quiets down as Bischoff continues.]

Eric Bischoff: Last night at Fall Brawl, we witnessed a highly controversial ending to the WCW World Heavyweight Championship match between Goldberg and Scott Steiner. The decision made by our second official, while within his authority, has been disputed.

[He pauses for a moment, building suspense.]

Eric Bischoff: After careful consideration and in the interest of fairness, I have decided to vacate the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.

[The crowd boos.]

Eric Bischoff: But fear not, because at Halloween Havoc, both men will get a chance to fix the mess our officials created last night, as we will see a rematch between Scott Steiner and Goldberg for the vacant title!

[The crowd erupts with cheers and applause.]

Eric Bischoff: And that's not all for tonight. You see, before last night, I had already decided I would be addressing you, our loyal audience, to start tonight's show as I had another huge announcement. I'm excited to announce a brand-new tournament here in WCW: the Bound for Glory series! This tournament will feature two blocks of eight participants each, and the winners of each block will face off at our November PPV, Bound for Glory, for a shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Starrcade! The matches will take place across both Nitro and Thunder, which by the way, will air starting this Thursday, on the USA Network, at 7 PM EST.

[The crowd buzzes with excitement.]

Eric Bischoff: Now, without further ado, let me explain the rules. In the Bound for Glory series, a win will earn a wrestler 2 points, while a draw will count for 1 point for each wrestler. Every participant will face every other participant in their respective blocks once.

[The crowd takes in the rules.]

Eric Bischoff: In Block A, we have Bryan Clark, Shane Helms, Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash, Sean O'Haire, Rob Van Dam, Sting, and Lance Storm!

[A graphic displays the names, and the crowd cheers for their favorites.]

image.png

Eric Bischoff: And in Block B, we have Brian Adams, Mike Awesome, Booker T, CM Punk, Diamond Dallas Page, Ric Flair, Chris Kanyon, and Chuck Palumbo!

[The graphic updates, showing the Block B participants.]

Eric Bischoff: This Bound for Glory series will test the mettle of our top competitors, and I can't wait to see who emerges victorious. Get ready for an unforgettable journey!

[Eric Bischoff's music hits once more as he leaves the ring, leaving the crowd buzzing with excitement about the upcoming Bound for Glory series.]

Tony Schiavone: (Excited) What an announcement! The Bound for Glory series is set to be a game-changer here in WCW!

Scott Hudson: (Nodding) Absolutely, Tony. And that's not all, folks. We've got an action-packed night of wrestling ahead. Stay tuned!

Bobby Heenan: (Smirking) Oh, you won't want to miss a second of it. Let's get this show on the road!

Sean O'Haire vs. Kevin Nash

In the first matchup in the Bound for Glory series, Kevin Nash faced off against Sean O'Haire. The match was marked by a classic clash of styles, with Nash relying on his experience and power while O'Haire showcased his athleticism and striking ability.

In the final moments, Nash capitalized on a momentary opening, executing his signature move, the Jackknife Powerbomb, to secure the win and earn his first 2 points in the Bound for Glory series. O'Haire, despite his impressive effort, left the ring with 0 points.

Mean Gene Okerlund: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here backstage at the Centrum Arena with none other than Booker T! Booker, after last night's controversial match against CM Punk at Fall Brawl, where you didn't quite get your revenge, what's on your mind?

Booker T: Well, Mean Gene, I gotta tell ya, last night didn't end the way I wanted it to. I was real close to beating that no good Sucka, but that low blow from Punk... it was just dirty, man.

Mean Gene Okerlund: Understandable, Booker. But a win is still a win. And you've got a chance at redemption as you enter the Bound for Glory series. Your thoughts on that?

Booker T: You know, Gene, that's right. I do not like how that match ended, but I did win last night, and that puts me in a good position as I enter this tournament. I'm in the Bound for Glory series, and I'm coming to get that World Title back around my taste!

[Just as Booker T is about to continue, the crowd's reaction shifts, and CM Punk steps into the interview area.]

CM Punk: (smirking) Hey, hey, hey, listen to you, Book. All this talk about redemption and coming for the World Title. But let's be real, man, you've had your shot. You couldn't get it done.

Booker T: (getting heated) You think this is funny, Punk? You think low blows and cheap shots make you a real man?

CM Punk: (shrugging) Call it what you want, Booker, but you couldn't get the job done. Nobody in this company has been able to pin me or submit me, and you damn sure it would not be you doing that. And as far as respect goes, you deserve nothin' from me.

[The tension between the two men intensifies.]

Booker T: (taunting) Well, Punk, here's the deal. We're gonna step in that ring again in the Bound for Glory series, and if you think you can pull the same crap you did at Fall Brawl, guess what? I'm still gonna get my 2 points, Sucka!

CM Punk: (smirking) We'll see about that, Book. But I promise you one thing - this ain't gonna be a walk in the park. But for now, you can sit here and watch as I get my first 2 points.

Mike Awesome vs. CM Punk

In a Bound for Glory series match, CM Punk clashed with Mike Awesome in a fierce battle. Punk took control of the match against the somewhat sympathetic Awesome. He executed his GTS (Go to Sleep) finisher, securing the victory and gaining his first 2 points in the tournament. Despite being on the losing end, Awesome's resilience couldn't earn him any points, leaving the crowd with a taste of Punk's ruthless pursuit of success.

[In a dimly lit locker room, Scott Steiner held court with his comrades Bryan Adams and Bryan Clark, known collectively as KroniK. The atmosphere was tense, filled with the bristling anticipation of what lay ahead.]

Steiner: (Gruffly) Alright, listen up, boys. We got one goal, and that's to get me back that WCW World Championship at Halloween Havoc. And by the way, since Bischoff put you in the Bound for Glory Series, we need to talk strategy here... I don't want you to win matches. No. Your job is to inflict as much pain as you can, and make sure to break a leg or two, while you're on it.

[The room was heavy with unspoken tension, and it was Bryan Adams who finally broke the silence.]

Adams: Hold on there, Scott. We've been with you through thick and thin, but this ain't what we signed up for. Our contract, it doesn't mention nothing about hurting other wrestlers just 'cause you say so.

[Scott Steiner's eyes narrowed at the challenge but didn't interrupt.]

Clark: (Stepping in) Adams is right, Big Poppa Pump. Sacrificing a chance at that title ain't cheap. We're talking about financial losses here.

Steiner: (Pausing) Alright, alright. You boys sure are a hard bargain. We'll get you a damn raise, but just remember, we're in this to win. So, make those boys hurt.

[KroniK nodded in agreement, knowing that their loyalty had just been rewarded.]

[John Cena owned the streets of Salt Lake City, Utah, and the crowd couldn't help but get hyped. He was ready to drop some fire, and his confidence was off the charts.]

Cena: (Rapping) Salt Lake City, gather 'round, here's the scoop,

It's the Doctor of Thuganomics, bringin' you the truth.

I'm Cena, the champ, the one you can't deny,

With a mic in my hand, I'll make your spirits fly.

The crowd couldn't resist nodding to the rhythm as Cena continued.

Cena: (Smirking) At Fall Brawl, Bam Bam, you felt the burn,

In that hardcore match, it was my turn.

I took you to school, like a professor, you see,

Now step aside, Bam Bam, it's time for the new me.

Cena: (Grinning) I'm rollin' through WCW like I'm Vin Diesel,

With the charisma and style that's bound to please, y'all.

I'm like Austin Powers, unstoppable on this stage,

Livin' large, makin' history, turnin' the page.

Cena: (Confident) Soon enough, I'll be sportin' some brand new bling,

Like a rockstar, the champ, that's how I swing.

As the gold comes my way, the spotlight's shinin' bright,

I'm takin' over WCW, so Bam Bam, get out of my sight.

The Legion of the Beast vs America's Most Wanted

Animal delivered powerful clotheslines and shoulder tackles, while Abyss utilized his size to crush their foes in the corners. The Legion unleashed a series of devastating moves, including a spine-rattling double chokeslam on AMW.

Despite being physically overmatched, AMW resorted to underhanded tactics. Storm grabbed Animal's foot from outside the ring, distracting the referee, while Harris introduced a steel chair. Storm and Harris capitalized on this momentary chaos to strike Animal with the chair, securing a controversial victory.

America's Most Wanted gloated and taunted The Legion of the Beast as they retreated up the ramp after their contentious victory. With triumphant sneers and mocking gestures, AMW aimed to rub salt in the wounds of their vanquished foes, emphasizing their crafty tactics over brute strength. The jeering confrontation added an extra layer of animosity to their already heated rivalry.

[The arena falls into a hushed anticipation as Goldberg's music blares through the speakers. The crowd erupts into cheers as the legendary wrestler makes his way to the ring, his eyes blazing with intensity.]

Goldberg: (Grabbing the microphone, he paces the ring with purpose) You know, last night at Fall Brawl, things got wild. Real wild. I stepped into that ring with one goal in mind, and that was to take back the WCW World Heavyweight Championship!

[The crowd roars in approval, waving signs and chanting Goldberg's name.]

Goldberg: (Pausing briefly) Scott Steiner, you and KroniK thought you could take me down. You thought you could keep me away from that title. Well, you were wrong!

[Goldberg's voice crescendos with each word, his determination palpable.]

Goldberg: (Pointing to the crowd) These people right here, they knew what was going to happen. They believed in me, and I delivered!

[The fans respond with a thunderous ovation, chanting Goldberg's name.]

Goldberg: (Nodding) Now, I'm not happy about Bischoff's decision of vacating the championship, but I also don't want a tainted victory. No, Steiner. Next time there will be no excuses. Halloween Havoc is just around the corner, and you can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be there, ready to face you once again, and get that belt back once and for all.

[Goldberg's eyes burn with intensity as he delivers his final message.]

Goldberg: (Clutching the microphone tightly) This time, there won't be any ropes to save you. Oh no, no. I’m carrying your ass back to the center of the ring. Interference won’t save you, either. It's just you and me, Steiner, and I'm taking back what's rightfully mine, because You're Next!

[Goldberg drops the microphone and exits the ring to a raucous ovation from the crowd, his determination echoing in the arena. ]

Rob Van Dam vs. Bryan Clark

In a competitive Bound for Glory series match, Rob Van Dam faced off against Bryan Clark. The bout showcased a blend of high-flying maneuvers and power moves. RVD utilized his signature techniques, including a Rolling Thunder. Throughout the match, Clark relentlessly targeted RVD's back, attempting to do as much damage as possible. Despite Clark's tenacity and aggressive strategy, it was Van Dam who emerged victorious thanks to a stunning Five-Star Frog Splash, earning 2 crucial points in the tournament. Clark, however, remained at 0 points.

[Rey Mysterio stood in the center of the ring, the WCW crowd hanging on his every word. With a fiery determination, he began to address the audience.]

Rey Mysterio: "Ladies and gentlemen, my people of WCW, yo quiero decirles algo... I want to tell you something… something very important. These last few weeks have been tough, very tough. Dustin Rhodes and his buddies from the Four Horsemen, tried to take me down. They snatched the United States Championship away from me. Pero let me remind you of something. I never lost that championship!"

[The crowd roared in support, and Rey's passion continued to shine through.]

Rey Mysterio: "So, I may be still feeling el dolor… the pain, from this injury, but I'm not going to back down. Dustin, maybe you're the champion right now, but you know I've beaten you before, and I can do it again, even if I have to do it on one leg."

[Rey's words resonated with the fans, who rallied behind him. As the anticipation built, Dustin Rhodes's image suddenly appeared on the titantron. Flanked by his Horsemen allies, Bagwell and Jarrett, and with the Nature Boy Ric Flair by his side, the tension escalated.]

Dustin Rhodes: "Rey, Rey, Rey... it seems like you don't know when to quit, do you? Well, if you want a shot at this United States Championship, you got it. But mark my words, little man, you're going to regret stepping into that ring with me."

[With the challenge accepted, Rey Mysterio and Dustin Rhodes were now on a collision course, and the WCW United States Championship hung in the balance. ]

[Backstage, Diamond Dallas Page stood in front of the camera, ready to address the WCW audience. With his trademark charisma, he began to speak.]

DDP: "Hey, folks, it's me, DDP, Diamond Dallas Page, and I've got a message for each and every one of you. Now, you saw what went down in the last few weeks, right? Kevin Nash, my so-called friend, decided to show his true colors, but after I beat him at Fall Brawl I'm done with that backstabber. But you know what? That's in the past now."

[DDP's intensity grew as he continued.]

DDP: "Tonight, it's all about the future, man. I'm in the Bound for Glory series, and tonight, I've got the Nature Boy, Ric Flair, in the main event. And you know what? I'm not just doing this for me; I'm doing it for each and every one of you out there. I want to be your People's Champion once again."

[With his trademark diamond hand sign, DDP concluded his promo, ready to face Ric Flair in what promised to be a crucial Bound for Glory series match.]

______________________

image.gifimage.pngimage.gif

Diamond Dallas Page vs. Ric Flair

The match began with Flair showcasing his signature style: mind games and underhanded tactics. The Nature Boy repeatedly attempted to use the ropes for leverage during pinfall attempts, but DDP was wise to his tricks, forcing the referee to break the pins. DDP countered with his own brand of offense, emphasizing his power moves and tenacity.

As the match progressed, DDP gained momentum. He had Flair on the ropes, setting up for his famed Diamond Cutter. The crowd roared in anticipation. Just when it seemed like DDP was about to seal the victory, the referee was inadvertently caught in the crossfire. DDP was unable to execute his finisher.

Seizing the opportunity, Kevin Nash, who had been lurking in the shadows, emerged from the crowd and blindsided DDP with a vicious Jackknife Powerbomb. The crowd's cheers turned into shocked gasps and then boos as Nash's unexpected intervention changed the course of the match. Flair capitalized on the chaos, quickly covering the fallen DDP as the referee came to, and securing the tainted victory. Ric Flair secured his first 2 points in the Bound for Glory series, leaving DDP with 0.

Following the bout, Kevin Nash continued his brutal assault on DDP. The crowd fervently chanted for Chris Kanyon, expecting him to rush to DDP's aid. However, Kanyon was nowhere to be found. The show concluded with Nash standing tall over the fallen DDP, leaving fans with more questions than answers.

All my homies love some tourneys!

Jeremy Borash: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with Lance Storm, who's moments away from his high-stakes match against Sting. Lance, what are your thoughts on the potential of bringing the Bound for Glory cup to Canada?

[Before Storm can respond, Shane Helms casually walks into the frame, drawing Storm's attention.]

Shane Helms: Oh, Lance, buddy, just wanted to wish you some real good luck out there against the Stinger tonight. I think you're gonna need it.

[Storm narrows his eyes, getting right up in Helms' face, not appreciating the sarcasm.]

Lance Storm: Luck is for the unprepared, Helms. Remember that.

Booker T vs. Brian Adams

In a match pitting Booker T against Brian Adams, Booker's babyface resilience shone through. Despite Adams' relentless assault on Booker's left leg, targeting it viciously, Booker remained undeterred. With every punch he delivered, Booker fought back valiantly. In the end, it was his resourcefulness that secured the victory, as he hit the Scissors Kick on Adams for the pinfall. This win gave Booker his initial 2 points in the Bound for Glory series, while Adams continued to languish at 0 points.

Sting: (standing with Samoa Joe by his side, addressing the camera) Tonight, it's not just about a wrestling match; it's about national pride. It's about representing the good ol' USA against our neighbors to the north, Canada. Lance Storm, you're a talented wrestler, but tonight, you're stepping into a battle for supremacy.

(Sting's intensity builds as he talks about his upcoming match with Lance Storm. Samoa Joe nods in agreement.)

Sting: Now, I can't help but notice what's been going on around here lately. Scott Steiner, you've been causing chaos, and Kronik, you've been his enforcers. I haven't forgotten what you did to me a while back, Scott. You see, I've got my eye on you, and if, by some miracle, Goldberg doesn't take that title from you at Halloween Havoc, well, let's just say I'll be waiting in the rafters, ready to stake my claim.

(Sting raises his bat, a glint of determination in his eyes, while Samoa Joe adds a few words.)

Samoa Joe: We're watching, Steiner. You can't outrun justice.

(Sting's music hits as he and Joe walk away, leaving a powerful message in their wake.)

Sting vs. Lance Storm

In the main event of WCW Thunder, the American icon Sting faced off against Canada's own Lance Storm in a thrilling Bound for Glory series match. As the bell rang, both competitors displayed their technical prowess. Storm, representing the great white north, was determined to make a statement, and he did so by targeting Sting's legs, trying to ground the veteran.

Sting, on the other hand, showcased his resilience and experience, weathering Storm's assault. He used his signature moves, including the Stinger Splash and the Scorpion Deathlock, to gain momentum. Storm, however, managed to counter some of Sting's attacks with his precise strikes and submissions, keeping the match competitive.

As the match reached its climax, the tension in the Thunderdome was palpable. Just when it seemed Storm might pull off an upset, the Samoan Submission Machine, Samoa Joe, made his presence felt. Mike Awesome, attempting to interfere on Storm's behalf, was thwarted by Joe's intervention.

With the distraction eliminated, Sting seized the opportunity. He locked in the Scorpion Deathlock with unyielding determination, and Storm had no choice but to submit. The crowd erupted as Sting earned his first 2 points in the Bound for Glory series, while Lance Storm remained at 0.

The show concluded with Sting and Samoa Joe celebrating in the middle of the ring, with the American flag symbolizing not just a victory but the ongoing battle for national pride.

Scott Steiner: "You boys did a hell of a job last week, causin' chaos out there. That's what we're all about—chaos and destruction."

[Brian Adams and Bryan Clark nodded in agreement, their expressions stone-cold.]

Scott Steiner: "But remember, the big picture, the damn focus, it's all on me takin' down that Goldberg son of a b***h at Halloween Havoc. I don't care who stands in our way, who gets hurt, as long as I get my hands on him."

[Kronik exchanged a knowing glance, their loyalty unwavering.]

Brian Adams: "Don't you worry, Big Poppa Pump. We're ready to do whatever it takes."

[Steiner's eyes gleamed with menace as he spoke his parting words.]

Scott Steiner: "Good. Just remember, nobody stops the Big Bad Booty Daddy. And when we're done with Goldberg, this whole damn company will know who rules this place."

[The trio shared a sinister laugh, their sinister alliance more formidable than ever.]

[John Cena, the cocky heel, swaggered down the ramp, microphone in hand, his disdain for Santa Barbara evident in his demeanor.]

John Cena: "Yo, Santa Barbara, this place is a drag, Ever since I arrived, I’ve seen nothin’ to brag. The LA Clippers, they ain't got no game, Just like this crowd, they're all so lame."

[The crowd responded with boos. Cena continued his verbal assault, his confidence unwavering.]

John Cena: "I'm the Doctor of Thuganomics, that's my name, And every time I rhyme, I put you to shame. So if there's anyone here with a shred of skill, Step up, let's see if you've got the will."

[But before Cena could dive deeper into his rhyme, a new theme song hit the arena. The debutant, BG James, strutted down the ramp with a mic of his own, ready to challenge Cena.]

[BG James introduced himself as the newest acquisition of WCW, sparking a reaction from the crowd. BG James grinned as he stood before John Cena, ready to drop his rhymes.]

BG James: "Hold on, Cena, let me set things straight, You're a rookie in this game, and you're rhymes are so tame. I'm BG James, the name you won't forget, And when it comes to rhymes, I haven't lost yet."

[The crowd responded with cheers, appreciating the wordplay and the seasoned performer in BG James.]

BG James: "You claim to be a star, but you're just getting started, I've been in this business, and I've left 'em all outsmarted. Your rookie status shows, and it ain't no shame, But when you step to me, you're playing a losing game."

[BG James continued to fire his verbal shots, making sure Cena knew he was in the presence of a true veteran.]

BG James: "So, Cena, take a step back and listen close, You're in the big leagues now, and you're facin' the most. BG James is the name, and I'm here to stay, When we're done here, you'll remember this day!"

[The crowd erupted as BG James concluded his rap, leaving John Cena in the ring, visibly frustrated by the veteran's confident words.]

Diamond Dallas Page vs. Brian Adams

In a hard-fought contest, Diamond Dallas Page clashed with Brian Adams in a Bound for Glory series match. DDP, the valiant babyface, showcased his resilience against the rugged heel Adams. As Adams attempted a high-risk maneuver, DDP countered with his iconic finisher, delivering the Diamond Cutter for the three-count. With this victory, DDP earned himself 2 crucial points, his first in the tournament, while Adams remained at zero. The crowd erupted in cheers as DDP celebrated his well-deserved win, setting his sights on climbing the rankings in the Bound for Glory series.

[Dustin Rhodes, accompanied by Ric Flair, delivers a backstage promo, building up his forthcoming match against Rey Mysterio]

Dustin Rhodes: You know what, folks, I've had enough. I've had enough of the doubters, the naysayers, and especially, Rey Mysterio. You see, Rey, you've been a thorn in my side for far too long, and I've had it up to here with your antics.

Dustin Rhodes: They say I'm a paper champion, that I've been handed this United States Championship. But let me set the record straight – it ain't on me. It ain't my fault that you've got a body made of glass, Rey. It ain't my fault that every time you step into that ring, you're just one move away from another injury.

Dustin Rhodes: And it sure as hell won't be my fault if you leave this arena tonight looking worse than you did last time we tangled. You should've stayed home, Rey. You should've stayed far away from the Four Horsemen, from me, from this ring. But no, you had to listen to these fans, these so-called experts, who fed your pride and convinced you that you could hang with the big dogs.

Dustin Rhodes: Well, tonight, Rey, you'll realize the harsh truth. You're in the ring with Dustin Rhodes, the Natural, the American Nightmare, a living legend in this business. And the real culprits in what's about to go down tonight are right there in the audience, cheering you on. They'll have to live with the consequences of their unwarranted faith in you.

Dustin Rhodes: So, get ready, Rey, because you're in for a world of hurt. The pain, the suffering, the humiliation – it's all coming your way, courtesy of the United States Champion, Dustin Rhodes. And when it's all said and done, they'll have no choice but to acknowledge that I am the true champion.

This results left both men with 2 points in the Bound for Glory series.

[Backstage in the WCW Thunder arena, America's Most Wanted (AMW) stands ready for an interview with Mean Gene Okerlund. The duo looks confident and determined, sporting their tag team titles proudly.]

Mean Gene Okerlund: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with America's Most Wanted! You guys had quite the battle last week against Legion of the Beast, picking up the victory. What's next for AMW?

[Chris Harris, grabs the microphone.]

Chris Harris: Well, Mean Gene, let me tell you what's next for America's Most Wanted! Last week, we proved once again that we're the best tag team in WCW, and now, we're setting our sights on those WCW World Tag Team Championships.

[James Storm, Harris's partner, chimes in.]

James Storm: That's right, Gene. Ric Flair and Buff Bagwell, you're holding on to those titles for dear life, but you can't outrun the inevitable. We want a shot at those belts, and we're coming for 'em!

[Just as Storm finishes speaking, the ominous presence of The Legion of the Beast fills the screen. Road Warrior Animal and Abyss step into the frame, their faces filled with determination.]

Road Warrior Animal: Hold on just a minute there, boys. You may have got a win last week, but that doesn't mean we're done with you. You cheated your way to victory, and that ain't sittin' right with us.

[Abyss, standing beside Animal, echoes his partner's sentiments, albeit in a limited way.]

Road Warrior Abyss: Cheated...

[Storm, never one to back down from a challenge, smirks.]

James Storm: Cheated, you say? Sorry, Animal, but your partner here... well, his brain cavity wouldn't make a drinkin' cup for a canary.

[Animal's temper flares as he steps closer to AMW. Security quickly rushes in to separate the two teams, preventing an all-out brawl.]

Mean Gene Okerlund: Well, folks, it seems like the tension between America's Most Wanted and Legion of the Beast is far from over. Stay tuned to WCW Nitro for more explosive action! Back to you, Tony.

Kanyon vs. Mike Awesome

Kanyon's unique offense and relentless determination proved too much for Awesome to handle. Kanyon's finisher, the Flatliner, was the turning point as he executed it perfectly, securing the pinfall and two crucial points in the tournament. With this impressive win, Kanyon now leads Block B with four points, while Mike Awesome remains at zero, setting the stage for an exciting tournament ahead.

[Backstage after his match, Mike Awesome found himself in a heated confrontation with Lance Storm]

Lance Storm: [Frustrated, storming up to Mike Awesome] Awesome, you're giving me and Canada a bad name with these losses! It's embarrassing!

Mike Awesome: [Defensive] Hold on a second, Storm. You've had your share of losses too!

Lance Storm: [Irritated] Yeah, but at least I lost to Sting, not some nutcase like Kanyon!

Mike Awesome: [Trying to calm Storm] Look, man, I get it. I'll do better, alright?

Lance Storm: [Slightly calmer] You better. And you know what? Next Thursday on Thunder, you're coming with me as I’m facing Sean O'Haire.

Mike Awesome: [Nods] Alright, I'll step up my game. We got this.

[The tension eases as Awesome and Storm appear to reconcile, at least for the time being, and Awesome walks away.]

Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Dustin Rhodes (c)

In the opening moments of the match, Dustin Rhodes wasted no time targeting Rey Mysterio Jr.'s injured leg. He exploited Rey's vulnerability, unleashing a relentless assault on the weakened limb. Rey, despite his valiant efforts, found himself struggling to mount a comeback against the larger and more powerful Rhodes.

As the match progressed, Rey began to show signs of his high-flying agility, managing to pull off some dazzling moves that temporarily shifted the momentum in his favor. However, Dustin's cunning and experience shone through as he capitalized on a critical mistake by Rey. The moment Rey attempted a crossbody from the middle rope, Ric Flair, lurking at ringside, swiftly intervened, yanking the rope and sending Rey crashing to the canvas.

With Rey incapacitated, Dustin took full advantage of the situation. He pulled Rey to the center of the ring and locked in the dreaded Figure-Four Leglock. The pain proved unbearable for Rey Mysterio, and he had no choice but to submit, handing Dustin Rhodes a successful defense of his WCW United States Heavyweight Championship.

After the bell rang, Dustin wasn't finished. He was joined by Ric Flair, Jeff Jarrett, and Buff Bagwell, who collectively began to gang up on the fallen Rey Mysterio. The situation looked dire for Rey until the cavalry arrived. Billy Kidman, leading a charge with reinforcements, charged down the ramp. Samoa Joe and the WCW Cruiserweight Champion AJ Styles flanked Kidman, creating a formidable force.

Seeing the odds stacked against them, the Four Horsemen wisely retreated, leaving Rey Mysterio and his allies standing tall in the ring. The fans erupted in cheers as the heroes fended off the nefarious faction, setting the stage for what promised to be an intense and ongoing rivalry.

Tony Schiavone: Ladies and gentlemen, we're back on Nitro, and it seems like Scott Steiner has something to say, he is on his way to the ring as we speak!

[As Steiner stands tall in the squared circle, berating the audience and taunting Goldberg, the arena trembles with anticipation. Goldberg makes his way to the ring, and the two behemoths lock eyes. Tensions escalate with every passing moment.]

Scott Steiner: (snarling) You think you're tough, huh? You're nothin' but a role-playin' geek, just like all these morons!

[Steiner continues to hurl insults at Goldberg, questioning his credibility, and relentlessly taunting him. Goldberg, known for his intensity, struggles to contain his anger.]

[Goldberg clenches his fists, trying to maintain his composure. But Steiner keeps pushing his buttons, taking shots at his family, his career, and everything else he can think of.]

Scott Steiner: (mocking) C'mon, big man! What are ya gonna do, huh? Prove me wrong, tough guy!

[Goldberg's nostrils flare as he tightens his grip on the ropes. The crowd is on the edge of their seats, waiting for the inevitable eruption. And then, in an explosive burst of rage, Goldberg throws the first punch, sparking an all-out brawl!]

[Out from the backstage area, Kronik, Brian Adams, and Bryan Clark, rush down to join Steiner, turning the tables into a 3-on-1 disadvantage for Goldberg.]

Tony Schiavone: This has spiraled out of control, folks! It's three against one, and Goldberg is in serious trouble!

[But just when it seemed like all hope was lost, a familiar face emerges from the curtain. It's Diamond Dallas Page, rushing down the ramp to even the odds!]

Bobby Heenan: DDP's here to help Goldberg, but is it enough, Schiavone? I don't think so!

[But hold on, the audience erupts once again as another unexpected savior steps into the fray. It's Chris Kanyon, charging down the ramp to join the fight!]

Scott Hudson: Kanyon's out here, and we've got a standoff, folks! It's an all-out brawl in the middle of the ring!

[The chaos ensues as fists fly, bodies collide, and the ring becomes a battlefield. The camera struggles to capture the bedlam as the six men wage war].

Tony Schiavone: (excited) We've run out of time, fans! This brawl is spiraling out of control! We'll see you next week on Nitro!

[With the situation hanging in the balance, the screen fades to black, leaving the audience eagerly anticipating the next chapter in this explosive feud.]

Oooof. Yap, checks out. A única coisa com menos saúde nos inícios do século que a WCW é mesmo os Clippers. E lol Cena, a levar banho do BG. Ele tem bars, or you didn't know?

O DDP ataca e distrai toda a gente, mete-se em tudo o que é assunto. Quase que dava para fazeres uma gimmick disso. Mean Gene entrevista alguém no backstage? DDP interrompe e começa ele a responder. Combate importante pronto a começar?
