Os Cavs estão a tentar a 2ª pick dos Cats. Aparentemente oferecemos a 4ª 33ª e 34ª mas eles querem a 24ª. Sinceramente não sei o que será melhor. Estou com muita esperança de conseguir um bom jogador na 24ª e não a queria perder, mas de certa forma estou com medo de ter o MKG na 4ª e os Cavs escolherem o Barnes e se escolhêssemos em 2º dificilmente passávamos o Beal.

Avery Johnson attends D-Will's party

 

In what could be a sign that Deron Williams intends to re-sign with the Brooklyn Nets, the star point guard invited Nets coach Avery Johnson to a small and intimate gathering to celebrate his 28th birthday Tuesday night, sources said.

 

Johnson, the only member of the Nets' organization in attendance, was one of roughly eight people who joined Williams at a restaurant in the New York area. The group also included members of Williams' family and his agent, Jeff Schwartz.

 

Earlier Tuesday, the Nets sent a truck with a Brooklyn Nets logo that read "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DERON! from your Brooklyn family" on the side of it to his Brooklyn apartment. Williams' wife, Amy, tweeted a picture of the sign.

 

On Saturday, ESPN.com's Marc Stein reported that Williams had narrowed his choices to the Nets and the Dallas Mavericks, his hometown team.

 

But there are increasing signs that Williams, the most coveted free agent on this summer's market, will stay put. He has been working out almost daily at the Nets' practice facility in New Jersey, often going through shooting drills with Johnson. Sources say he has also discussed strategies for next season with Johnson.

 

That said, Williams has not yet made up his mind, according to sources close to the situation. He has said publicly that he intends to make his decision quickly, most likely before he reports to training for Team USA on July 5.

 

Williams is not planning to visit or meet with any teams once the league allows clubs to begin recruiting players on July 1, sources said.

 

The Houston Rockets are trying to put together an elaborate plan of trading for Orlando's Dwight Howard and clearing enough cap room to offer Williams a max-level contract, according to sources. But it's unlikely that the Rockets will be able to pull it off.

Meh tanto gosto como não gosto. A vinda do Dalembert é bastante boa bem como a saida do Brockman, descer a pick acaba por ser bom e já não somos "obrigados" a escolher um center portanto podemos escolher BPA. Tenho pena pelo Leuer :(

Former Celtics guard Ray Allen — soon to be a free agent — is interested in signing with the Miami Heat, and the feeling is mutual. Allen has narrowed down his “wish list” to the Heat & Knicks. The Heat now gaining an edge over the Knicks in the Ray-Ray Sweepstakes.

 

Allen will be free to re-sign with the Celtics or sign with any other team when NBA free agency opens July 1. Miami is an attractive option for free agents, and the Heat became even more attractive after winning the NBA championship last week. Any incoming player to the Heat could get a no better contract than one that values at $3 million per year. Ray Allen made $12 million with the Celtics this season.

 

“There’s still a lot of basketball left in my legs, I know that for sure,” Allen said after the Celtics’ loss to the Heat in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The all-time leader in three-point shots made has yet to make any other comments regarding his free agent status
