Lil Pump > My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, deal with it. Agora a sério, o Lil Pump é a minha guilty pleasure. O gajo não diz nada de jeito, mas ele é bom na entrega e na energia que dá à música, faz banger atrás de banger.

A primeira música que ouvi dele foi a "Flex like oou". Até achei fixe, embora não diga nada de jeito, também não esperava isso. Depois decidi ouvir mais e a fórmula era sempre a mesma. Eu consigo desvalorizar um bocado a parte lírica mas repetir a mesma coisa 453x consegue ser frustrante para mim.

No fundo, acho que ele é um produto de tudo o que tem vindo a acontecer ao hip-hop nos últimos tempos. E acho que a culpa é dos fãs, num todo. Não me queria alongar muito neste assunto mas a música é vista cada vez mais de forma superficial e esta nova onda dos soundcloud rappers são reis a fazer bangers sem nexo, que entretem as pessoas através de beats agressivos. Parece que o hip-hop está a passar uma fase de rebeldia.

 

Ao mesmo tempo, o hip-hop está em voga e tem mais sucesso que nunca. Eu lembro-me que a malta do meu tempo ouvia imensa música eletrónica; agora os putos de 14 ou 15 anos só ouvem praticamente hip-hop.
