Signing Talent (John Laurinatis vs. Triple H)

 

Now since the creation of FCW(and it's transformation into NXT), WWE has seen a huge wave in creating talent.

OVW under Jim Ross brought us the famous Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Dave Batista and Randy Orton's with Dolph Ziggler, CM Punk, Ryback, Cody Rhodes and The Miz being the last tier of superstars to be signed into and come out of the OVW territories. (indy wrestling aside).

 

When WWE no longer used OVW as their talent development territory we have seen the following superstars be signed to developmental contracts, make their debuts, win World Titles, headline PPVs and become some of today's most popular WWE supertars. Looking at who is currently on the roster and who is yet to debut on the roster the future is looking pretty bright. But who is to be credited more? John Laurinatis or Triple H? Triple H recently took over the head role of talent relations in 2011 and I thought we would be able to compare the superstars that Johnny brought to the company with the superstars that Triple H brought/is bringing to the company to determine who has done a more successful job.

 

 

Daniel Bryan WAS signed during John Laurinatis's reign, but was literally in development a couple of weeks before being brought to the main roster NXT. (Ironically what is now used as the developments).

Sin Cara WAS in a similar situation, only under the title of Triple H.

Now between those two superstars it's obvious who has had the better career, but it should be noted when their careers took off as well. Sandow for example was signed by Big Johnny, but didn't debut until the Triple H reign. However, for the basis of this thread we'll go by the initial signings as given credit for seeing the potential.

 

So in a nutshell, regardless of where they are now. Who do you think will be credited as being the overall best talent scout for creating the future of the WWE. (Triple H has only been in his row for two years and IMO the talent under his ring is already miles better and has way more long term potential.) It is funny though that the guys who got recent main event pushes still tend to come from Jim Ross. Will Triple H follow in Jim Ross's footsteps? Is John Laurinatis to blame for WWE's lack of developing stars for such a long period of time?

 

Until I gathered this list, I never realized how good having Triple H in this role is. Now sure he has had his faults with Kharma and Sin Cara but neither situation is really is fault as the potential was always there.

 

Will this be unanimous that Triple H has the better eye? Or will some say that Del, Swagger, Kingston, Sheamus and Barrett will make more of a long term impact than Ambrose, Rollins, Cesao, Wyatt and Ohno?

 

Hopefully we get some good insight here on just how crucial being the executive of talent relations really is.

Uma coisa é certa, desque que o gajo está nos Evolution, acho que melhorou. Não tenho a certeza porque eu ultimamente nem sempre tenho visto o RAW por problemas na net.

Triple H é o melhor heel que lá anda e já de uma dezena de anos para cá. Batista no entanto tens os seus moments tb.
