During this weekend's iPPV event, Steen lost his match to Shinsuke Nakamura, after also losing his match last weekend to ROH World Champion Adam Cole. After the match he cut a promo about loving Ring of Honor but not feeling at home since he lost the title. He also talked about going home to take care of his family – which includes a newborn child – and that it was time for him to say goodbye.

 

That being said, they also began an angle with Silas Young that ended in the two brawling and being pulled apart by a bunch of people. It is expected that Steen will face Young at next month's "Best in the World" PPV, and that could be his last match with the company. Or it could all be well-orchestrated work and Kevin Steen won't actually be going anywhere.

 

For what it's worth, he was a part of a recent WWE try-out camp and reports stated that many officials were impressed by his performance. However, no details have come out of that camp and there's no telling if Steen would actually make that jump even if an offer was put on the table.

A investigação começou logo depois que foi anunciada a renovação do contrato com a NBCUniversal por um valor muito inferior ao que a WWE tinha anunciado há alguns meses atrás.

On May 16, 2014, WWE disclosed that it had reached a multiyear deal with US broadcaster NBCUniversal for its long-running Raw and SmackDown programs, stating that the annual value of its television distribution agreements would reach $200 million, well below what investors were expecting. Daniel Moore, an analyst with CJS Securities, said in a research note that, “Given management’s more optimistic tone and the fact that other major sports franchises have garnered much higher increases, this outcome is likely to be viewed as disappointing by many investors.”

 

On this news, the value of WWE’s stock plummeted by over 43%.

As ações desceram 10 dolares na sequencia do anuncio do novo contrato com a NBC que pelos vistos nao foi grande coisa. Alem disso ja estavam a descer com o 'falhanco' da wwwe network, que precisa de 1.5M aderentes para 'break-even' e so tem 660k
