Sim, o encontro foi mudado para hoje. O gajo diz que só lá para as 11 da noite da nova iorque é que diz alguma cena.

Isso não percebi muito bem, mas acho que o número que é o username que o gajo supostamente usou para mandar uma mensagem no reddit ao gajo que abriu o tópico é que supostamente vai dar ao departamento de defesa.

2) The follow up message is decrypted as: YOU HAVE MANAGED TO FIND THE MESSAGE WITH THE HELP OF FRIENDS. YOU CHANGED THE RULES NOW SO WILL I. JULY TWELVE FOUR PM. FIND THE BLUE JAY AT SIX AND A HALF AND FIFTY SIXTH AND TELL HIM YOU ARE THE LAST.

 

3) new_b has translated the username of "hoboman" into an IP address. It's from the US Department of Defense.

 

4) Cardnumber47582 discovered what might be "Blue Jay"

 

5) As /u/jrm2003 and others have said, the code on the $50 bill is a UNIX timecode for July 19, 12:00pm EST.

 

6) Not sure if relevant, but fun nonetheless: /u/Ca11megee found out that the sum of mister input's username is 42.

 

7) NON-DEFINITIVE PROOF OF VIRAL MARKETING PLOY, apparently something about Dark Knight. Aaaaand it's down. Suspicious, no? Apparently, the troll is really just a pussy, no outside forces were really responsible for the video being taken down.

Okay, since I have some shitty meeting to attend to until FUCKING 6PM, here's my take on it: OF COURSE IT'S FUCKING FAKE, what do you expect? Still, that doesn't mean it's not valuable or unfun. And we still don't know if it's a big-ass ARG or a viral marketing campaign. Still wish it's not a Kia Rio scenario though. I'll try my best to sneak in some updates through my phone (since this thread still needs a summary because it's fucking gigantic and relevant posts sometimes gets buried).

I'm calling this a hoax by the OP. Here's my reasoning:

 

As lunchdump notes, Mr. Input's user name in the second note is a New Jersey phone number backwards, 1 (973)-*.

 

A search on Facebook (a better engine for this because FB often links numbers to profiles) reveals that the number is linked to the account of one Ali ******* who resides in New Jersey.

 

A google search of Ali reveals that he plays Magic the Gathering. Other redditors have noted that OP's username "delverofsecrets" is a popular MTG card.

 

Finally, a google search of Ali + delver of secrets comes up with this Facebook note showing that Ali has used 4 delver of secrets cards to place 3rd in an April 8th 2012 tournament.

 

EITHER THIS IS AN ELABORATE HOAX BY THE OP, OR SOMEONE THE OP KNOWS.

 

Edit: I just called the number and had a chat with Ali. He claims to not be the OP and does not know about this thread. He has also requested that others do not call him as it is his personal and work phone. Please respect his wishes. So, this theory may be wrong.
