[TEW2020] What If: WCW Survived

Publicações recomendadas

Citação de Almeno, Em 11/09/2023 at 20:12:

RIP Mysterio momentum

CM Punk? More like CM Gustavo Santos

Cena is gold

Quanto ao Main Event....LOOL the numbers dont lie... O Mesquita é visionário

Trust the process!

Esta fase do Punk também não é a minha preferida. Better things to come.

WCW Announces the Return of Thunder on USA Network to Address Financial Woes
By Dave Meltzer | Wrestling Observer

In a surprising turn of events, World Championship Wrestling (WCW) announced today that their flagship television program, Thunder, will make a triumphant return to the airwaves starting September 20, 2001, with broadcasts to air on the USA Network. This unexpected decision comes on the heels of WCW's recent resurgence in the wrestling world, where they've been steadily growing their audience, even though that growth hasn't translated into substantial revenue gains.

Since its acquisition by Fusient Media Ventures, WCW has been on a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs. Despite the resurgence in popularity thanks to their robust roster and compelling storylines, the company has been operating in the red, facing financial challenges that threatened its future stability.

While WCW has made remarkable strides in recapturing the wrestling fanbase's attention, it has struggled to secure the financial backing required to propel it back into the black. This prompted the decision-makers at WCW to revisit a concept that played a significant role in their success in the late '90s: the return of Thunder.

Thunder was WCW's secondary television program that complemented its flagship show, Monday Nitro. After a brief hiatus, WCW aims to maximize its television rights and advertising revenue by establishing an agreement with USA Network, WWF's former home for Monday Night Raw, up until last year. They hope this will help stop the financial hemorrhage they've been enduring, despite growing their audience.

By reintroducing Thunder on the USA Network, WCW plans to capitalize on their recent pay-per-view successes and growing mainstream media presence. They are banking on Thunder's return to secure a more lucrative television deal, which will play a critical role in their financial stability moving forward.

As WCW prepares to bring Thunder back into the fold, questions loom regarding the potential impact on the company's future. Will this move provide the financial stability needed to steer clear of further financial turmoil, or will it be another challenge to overcome in their quest for resurgence?
With an eye toward a brighter future, WCW is betting that the reintroduction of Thunder on the USA Network will help write the next chapter in their storied history. As the wrestling landscape continues to evolve, it remains to be seen whether this gamble will pay off and solidify WCW's position as a major player in the industry once more.

Tony Schiavone | Scott Hudson | Bobby "The Brain" Heenan

[The show opens with the camera panning over the excited crowd in Edwards Hall. The pyrotechnics explode, and the camera cuts to the commentary booth.]

Tony Schiavone: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to WCW Monday Nitro! We are live from Edwards Hall in Florida, and we have an action-packed night ahead of us!

Scott Hudson: That's right, Tony. Last week's controversial ending left everyone talking, but tonight we're ready to move forward and deliver an unforgettable show.

Bobby Heenan: I can't wait to see what's in store, boys. The WCW superstars are ready to tear it up in the ring tonight!

Tony Schiavone: Speaking of which, let's run down tonight's card. First up, we have Bam Bam Bigelow taking on Mike Sanders. These two powerhouses are sure to bring the intensity.

Scott Hudson: And in a high-flying encounter, the Jung Dragons will face off against Straight Edge Truth. It'll be a clash of styles, no doubt.

Bobby Heenan: We can't forget about Rob Van Dam, who's set for some in-ring action. You know he always brings the excitement!

Tony Schiavone: And the WCW Cruiserweight Championship will be on the line as Shane Helms defends against Cash. Helms has been a fighting champion, but Cash is hungry for gold.

Scott Hudson: A tag team match is also on the agenda, with Dustin Rhodes and Sting teaming up to take on America's Most Wanted. These four competitors are no strangers to each other.

Bobby Heenan: And in our main event, we have a marquee match between Booker T and Buff Bagwell. These two veterans know each other inside and out.

Tony Schiavone: Absolutely, Bobby. But before we get to all the action, we have a special announcement from Eric Bischoff regarding the United States Championship. We can't wait to hear what he has in store.

Scott Hudson: It's going to be a thrilling night, folks. Stay tuned, because WCW Monday Nitro is about to kick off in style!

[The show returns from the ad break, and the crowd is buzzing with anticipation as Goldberg stands in the center of the ring, microphone in hand.]

Goldberg: I'm not here for games or nonsense. Steiner, you stole my victory last week, and I want you to come out here right now and settle this like a man...one on one!

[The crowd erupts as Scott Steiner's music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Steiner enters the ring, a cocky smirk on his face, ready to confront Goldberg.]

Steiner: You think I stole your win, Goldberg? Well, let me tell you something, you overgrown bald-headed bitch. I beat your sorry ass fair and square. You're just mad because I showed you who the real man is!

[The two rivals stand face-to-face, exchanging heated words while the crowd roars with anticipation.]

[Eric Bischoff's music hits, and the WCW President walks out to the ring, interrupting the confrontation between Goldberg and Steiner.]

Bischoff: Alright, alright, calm down, boys. We can't have a riot here. Now, Goldberg, I understand your frustration, but let me clarify the situation. Rick, as the referee, had the authority to restart the match with Scott included. Unfortunate for you, but that's how it played out.

[Goldberg glares at Bischoff, clearly dissatisfied with the explanation.]

Bischoff: However, in the interest of fairness, I agree that the ending might not have been ideal. So, here's what I'm going to do. Scott Steiner, you've proven yourself to be a force to be reckoned with, and you have earned a shot at Jeff Jarrett's WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Road Wild!

[The crowd erupts with a mix of cheers and boos as Steiner grins, clearly pleased with the opportunity.]

Bischoff: And Goldberg, you'll get your chance too. I'll provide further details at a later point, but rest assured, you'll have another opportunity to earn a title shot.

[Goldberg nods, still skeptical but willing to accept the offer.]

Bischoff: Now, while I'm out here, I have an important update regarding the United States Championship. Due to the severe injuries sustained by Rey Mysterio at the hands of the Horsemen, the U.S. title is now vacant. We will crown a new champion after Road Wild.

[The crowd reacts with a mix of shock and concern for Rey Mysterio's condition.]

Bischoff: Rey will receive the medical attention he needs, and we wish him a speedy recovery. In the meantime, at Road Wild, a new United States Champion will be crowned in a championship match that will showcase the best of WCW's talent.

[The crowd buzzes with excitement at the prospect of a new champion being crowned.]

Bischoff: That's all for now. Stay tuned for further updates, and let's continue with the rest of the show!

[Eric Bischoff exits the ring, leaving Goldberg and Steiner to simmer with anticipation for their upcoming opportunities. The commentators discuss the developments as the show progresses, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the future clashes between Goldberg, Steiner, and the rest of the WCW roster.]

Jung Dragons vs. Straight Edge Truth

Straight Edge Truth clashed with the Jung Dragons in a thrilling tag team encounter. The match showcased a contrast in styles, with the high-flying agility of the Dragons pitted against the technical prowess of Straight Edge Truth. The action was fast-paced and hard-hitting, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats. In the end, Straight Edge Truth managed to gain the upper hand, executing their signature double-team finisher, "The Truthbreaker," on Kaz Hayashi for the victory. It was a hard-fought battle that highlighted the skills and abilities of both teams.

[Backstage at WCW Nitro, Bam Bam Bigelow is seen walking down the hallway, preparing for his upcoming match. As he turns a corner, he comes face to face with a young and confident John Cena, who smirks and starts to rap.]

John Cena:

Yo, yo, yo, listen up, Big Bam Bam,

I'm the future, you're just an also-ran.

I'm here to spit rhymes and drop some truth,

You're old news, man, time to find the fountain of youth.

You were cool back in the day, I won't lie,

But now it's my time, no need to even try.

I'm the Doctor of Thuganomics, the real deal,

While you're just a relic, time to step aside and chill.

You're a big man, I'll give you that,

But I'm the Prototype, no denying the fact.

I got the style, the charisma, the whole package,

You're just hanging around, stuck in a backstage passage.

So, Bam Bam, step back, let the new era shine,

You had your time, now it's time to decline.

I'm the word life, the future of this show,

You can't stop me, man, it's time to let it go.

[Cena smirks again, giving Bam Bam a dismissive nod, and starts to walk away. Bam Bam's face shows a mix of surprise and irritation, but Cena disappears down the hallway before he can react.]

Rob Van Dam vs. Chris Hero

Rob Van Dam dominated the match against Chris Hero, showcasing his high-flying style and technical prowess. RVD's lightning-fast kicks and innovative offense kept Hero on the defensive. The match reached its climax when RVD executed a breathtaking Five-Star Frog Splash, leaving Hero unable to recover in time for the referee's count, resulting in a convincing victory for Rob Van Dam.

In a dimly lit backstage area, the Natural Born Thrillers, Sean O'Haire and Chuck Palumbo, stand confidently in front of the camera. They're dressed in their leather jackets, exuding a rebellious attitude that complements their biker personas.

O'Haire: Well, well, well... ain't it a sight for sore eyes, Chuck? We got ourselves a little message for those two clowns, Punk and Moore.

Palumbo: That's right, Sean. You see, Hog Wild is coming, and it's like a road that leads straight to the thrill of victory for us.

O'Haire: You know, Punk, I've heard you talkin', runnin' your mouth like you're some kind of big shot. But let's face it, you're just a little punk on a big stage, and you got Moore here doin' the talkin' for you. What's the matter, man? Cat got your tongue?

Palumbo: chuckles Yeah, it's real cute how Moore here is your voicebox, Punk. But let's not forget, we've already ridden circles around you two once before. And at Hog Wild, we're gonna do it again.

O'Haire: You see, Straight Edge Truth, we're not just about the bikes and the leather. We're about showin' up in that ring and provin' we're the real deal. You can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?

Palumbo: You two are like those little scooters tryin' to keep up with Harley-Davidsons. Sure, you might make some noise, but when the rubber meets the road, you're gonna get left in the dust.

O'Haire: So, Punk, Moore, enjoy your little fantasy while it lasts. 'Cause when Hog Wild rolls around, we'll be revvin' up our engines, ready to leave you eatin' our exhaust fumes. And trust me, boys, you won't forget the name... Natural Born Thrillers.

The camera fades out as O'Haire and Palumbo share a confident smirk, leaving no doubt that they're prepared to back up their words in the ring.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship

Shane Helms vs. Cash

In a high-paced contest, Shane Helms defended his WCW Cruiserweight title against the cunning Cash. The early moments saw Cash employing underhanded tactics, using the ropes to his advantage. Helms showcased his agility, countering with a series of quick strikes and a dazzling Shining Wizard. As the match progressed, Cash focused on grounding Helms, targeting his legs. However, Helms' resilience shone through as he executed a jaw-dropping Vertebreaker, sealing the victory and retaining his championship. The crowd erupted in cheers as Helms celebrated his hard-fought win, proving once again why he's the rightful Cruiserweight champion.

As the dust settled from the hard-fought match, chaos erupted as the members of 3 Count - Kid Ego, Kid Romeo, and Evan Karagias - stormed the ring to launch a vicious assault on the recently victorious Shane Helms. The trio's coordinated attack overwhelmed Helms, with Cash joining in to intensify the beatdown. The arena was filled with boos as the onslaught continued.

Just as it seemed like the odds were stacked against Helms, a burst of energy surged through the arena. The crowd erupted in cheers as AJ Styles, a beacon of determination, sprinted down the ramp. Styles swiftly entered the fray, taking the fight to 3 Count. His lightning-fast strikes and acrobatic maneuvers sent Kid Ego and Kid Romeo fleeing for cover, leaving Evan Karagias alone and vulnerable.

With remarkable agility and precision, Styles neutralized Karagias, leaving him writhing in pain on the mat. The crowd's excitement reached a fever pitch as Styles turned his attention to Cash, who was slowly recovering. Styles pounced on Cash, unleashing a barrage of strikes and high-flying maneuvers that left Cash dazed and disoriented.

The combined efforts of Helms and Styles turned the tide, driving the attackers out of the ring and sending a clear message: their unity and determination would not be shaken. The triumphant scene saw Styles and Helms standing tall, their bond of friendship and unwavering resolve stronger than ever. The fans roared in approval as the duo helped each other back to their feet, leaving 3 Count and Cash to retreat with their tails between their legs.

Gene Okerlund: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with the legendary Steiner Brothers, Rick and Scott. Rick, we know you're dealing with an unfortunate injury, but you've certainly had a hand in the recent developments.

Rick Steiner: That's right, Gene. Even though I'm nursing this injury, I ain't sittin' on the sidelines doin' nothin'. See, I got this plan, and it's a damn good one.

Scott Steiner: You tell 'em, Rick. We ain't just sittin' ducks waitin' for things to happen. We make 'em happen.

Rick Steiner: You got that right, Big Poppa Pump. Now, listen up, Jarrett. You think you got it all figured out, holdin' that World title and struttin' 'round like a peacock. But you ain't seen the last of the Steiner Brothers.

Scott Steiner: Nah, Jeff. You see, my brother here, he cooked up a little somethin' special for your sorry ass. And guess what? I'm gonna be the one to serve it to ya!

Rick Steiner: Damn right, Scotty. You got yourself a title shot at Road Wild, and you better believe my brother here's gonna whoop your candy ass and take that belt from you.

Scott Steiner: You know, Jarrett, you might think you're all high and mighty, but you're messin' with the wrong damn family. The Steiner legacy ain't one to be messed with.

Rick Steiner: So, Jeff, you better hold on to that title real tight, 'cause when Scotty gets his hands on you, you'll be wishin' you never stepped foot in this ring.

Scott Steiner: And after I'm done with you, Jarrett, the only thing you'll be holdin' is a whole lotta regret. Steiner's takin' that title, and there ain't a damn thing you can do about it!

Gene Okerlund: Strong words from the Steiner Brothers, and it looks like they're out for revenge. Back to you, ringside.

[The camera fades as the Steiner Brothers share an intense stare, their determination evident.]

Dustin Rhodes and Sting vs. America's Most Wanted

In a heated tag team clash, Dustin Rhodes and Sting overcame America's Most Wanted. Rhodes showcased his powerful Bulldog Slam, while Sting unleashed his signature Scorpion Deathlock. AMW fought back with Wildcat's Snap Spinebuster and Harris's Catatonic. The match intensified with near falls on both sides. Sting's Stinger Splash set the stage for Rhodes to seal the victory with his Final Reckoning on Harris. The crowd roared as Rhodes and Sting celebrated, solidifying their unity against America's Most Wanted.

In a dimly lit backstage area, The Horsemen, comprising Jeff Jarrett, Ric Flair, and Buff Bagwell, huddle together. Flair's authoritative voice cuts through the tension as he addresses their upcoming challenges.

Flair: Boys, you know what's at stake at Road Wild. Sting and Rhodes think they can stand up to us, but they ain't got the Horsemen spirit. And as for those Steiners...

[Bagwell interjects.]

Bagwell: They're barkin' big, but they ain't got the bite, Ric. Steiner's all banged up, and his brother's a lost cause. Ain't nothin' that Scotty's gonna do that we can't handle.

Flair: Damn right, Buff. And Jarrett, you've been holdin' that gold like a true Horseman. Your destiny is to keep that title around your waist, and no Steiner's gonna change that.

[Jarrett steps forward, the confidence in his demeanor evident.]

Jarrett: Listen up, boys. As for tonight, Bagwell, you got Booker T. He's a former champ, but he ain't no pushover. Put him in his place, and let him know who's runnin' this show.

[Flair raises his hand for emphasis.]

Flair: That's right, Jarrett. And remember, boys, we're the Horsemen – the kings of this ring. Ain't nobody gonna mess with us, and ain't nobody gonna take what's rightfully ours. You got that?

[Bagwell and Jarrett nod in unison.]

Bagwell: You bet, Naitch.

Jarrett: You can count on it, Ric.

[The trio exchanges a determined glance before dispersing, each of them preparing to leave their mark on the night.]

Booker T vs. Buff Bagwell

In a fiercely contested encounter, Booker T emerged victorious over Buff Bagwell on Monday Nitro. The match showcased a back-and-forth struggle, featuring each wrestler's distinctive moves. Bagwell's Buff Blockbuster and Booker's Harlem Hangover impressed the crowd. Bagwell initially dominated, but Booker's tenacity shifted the momentum. The climax came as Booker executed a Picture Perfect Ax Kick, sealing his win. Despite Bagwell's bravado, Booker's skill and determination secured his triumph. Booker celebrated, setting the stage for his future battles, while Bagwell was left to digest his defeat.

[As Booker T stands in the ring, triumphant after his victory over Buff Bagwell, Eric Bischoff's music echoes throughout the arena. The WCW President makes his way to the ramp, microphone in hand, wearing a self-satisfied smirk.]

Eric Bischoff: Well, well, well... Booker T, I've got to hand it to you tonight. You managed to pull off a win against Buff Bagwell, quite the accomplishment.

[The fans cheer for Booker T, showing their support for the accomplished wrestler.]

Eric Bischoff: But let's not get ahead of ourselves here. You see, Booker, I've been watching you very closely, and I must admit, your resilience has been quite entertaining. You've overcome obstacle after obstacle, proving yourself in this ring. And that's why I've got a little something special for you.

[Booker T eyes Bischoff suspiciously, clearly not trusting the smug authority figure.]

Eric Bischoff: Your path to redemption, your quest for another shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship... it all comes to a head at Road Wild. I've got one more challenge for you, Book. Just one more obstacle. But that obstacle means, you're next, Booker! That's right, Booker, you'll be stepping into the ring with none other than Goldberg!

[The crowd erupts in cheers at the announcement of the high-stakes match.]

Eric Bischoff: Oh yes, Booker, you'll have the chance to prove yourself against one of the most dominant forces in WCW. And the stakes couldn't get any higher, because whoever wins will earn a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.

[Booker T clenches his fists, clearly motivated by Bischoff's words and the challenge ahead.]

Eric Bischoff: So, Booker, you better be ready. Because at Road Wild, it's you against Goldberg, and only one man will walk out as the number one contender. Get prepared to fight, to scratch, and to claw your way back to that championship spotlight.

[Bischoff's grin widens as he revels in the tense atmosphere he's created. Booker T's gaze remains fixed on Bischoff, a fire burning in his eyes.]

Eric Bischoff: Good luck, Booker. You're going to need it.

[With those final words, Bischoff drops the microphone and makes his exit, leaving Booker T standing in the ring, his determination unwavering. The fans rally behind Booker, cheering him on as he gears up for the monumental challenge that awaits him at Road Wild, as the show fades to black.]

O US Championship é um cursed title LOL

Acho uma falha gritante teres uma stable com um Kid Ego, Kid Romeo e depois um Evan Karagias. Devia ser Kid Evan ou Kid Kara. E se o Cash fosse recrutado, seria um Kid Cash...

Booker vs Goldberg nice

Cursed? No, no. :)

John Cena (Rapping):

Yo, yo, yo, listen up, I got a tale to tell,

Bam Bam Bigelow, you're in my crosshairs, can't you tell?

You strut around, all big and bad,

But tonight, John Cena's gonna make you mad.

You think you're a beast, a giant in this game,

But I'm here to take your spot, and leave you in my fame,

You might be big, but I've got the skill,

I'll school you tonight, show you the real thrill.

I'm the doctor of thuganomics, fresh on the scene,

Cena's the name, and I'm your worst dream,

I've got the moves, the swag, the whole package too,

I'm the future of WCW, the rising star,

You're just an obstacle, but I'll leave my mark so far,

So get ready, Bigelow, to feel the Cena storm,

I'm gonna shine bright, while you face the norm.

Cena continues his rap as he reaches the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and stands in the center, pumping his fists to the rhythm of his words. The crowd reacts with a mix of cheers and jeers, unsure of what to make of this brash newcomer.

Tony Schiavone: Well, that's certainly one way to make an entrance, Bobby.

Bobby Heenan: You can say that again, Tony. This Cena character seems to have quite the confidence.

Scott Hudson: Love him or hate him, there's no denying Cena's got charisma. Let's see if he can back up those words in the ring against the veteran Bam Bam Bigelow.

Bam Bam Bigelow vs. John Cena

In a clash of generations, Bam Bam Bigelow overcame John Cena in a hard-fought battle. Cena's agility and unorthodox offense kept Bigelow on his toes, but the veteran's power and experience proved decisive. Cena showcased his strength with a Proto Bomb and dazzled with his Five Knuckle Shuffle. However, Bigelow's trademark Moonsault sealed the victory. Cena's debut proved his mettle, while Bigelow's resilience secured the win.

Mean Gene Okerlund: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here backstage with none other than Hayabusa, the Japanese sensation. Hayabusa, you've been making waves since your arrival in WCW. What's next for you?

[Hayabusa prepares to respond when suddenly Chavo Guerrero Jr. appears, charging towards him with aggression. Chavo grabs at Hayabusa's mask, attempting to tear it off.]

Chavo Guerrero Jr.: I've had enough of your mystique, Hayabusa! I'm gonna expose the man behind the mask!

Kaz Hayashi: 引け、チャボ!我々の友達に手を出すんじゃない。

Yang (translating for Kaz Hayashi😞 Back off, Chavo! You don't mess with our friend.

[Chavo glares at the Jung Dragons before reluctantly stepping back. Hayabusa takes a moment to adjust his mask and regains his composure.]

Hayabusa: (Nods in gratitude)

[Chavo continues to seethe, eyeing Hayabusa from a distance as the Jung Dragons stand united beside their friend.]

Kanyon: (pointing at Nash) There it is! I found it, right here!

[Nash, puzzled, raises an eyebrow at Kanyon.]

Nash: Found what, pal?

Kanyon: (smirking) The trash I've been lookin' for. You!

[Nash chuckles and crosses his arms, clearly intrigued.]

Nash: You want a piece of Big Sexy, huh? You got it. What about next Sunday, at Road Wild?

[Kanyon grins confidently, his challenge accepted. The confrontation between the two intensifies, setting the stage for an impending clash.]

[Mean Gene stands in the interview area, microphone in hand, ready to engage with Sting and Dustin Rhodes.]

Mean Gene: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with two men who are no strangers to standing up against adversity and fighting for justice. Sting, Dustin, you've got a big match coming up at Road Wild against Buff Bagwell and Ric Flair. What are your thoughts heading into that encounter?

Sting: (focused and intense) Gene, we know what we're up against. Bagwell and Flair are cunning, they're ruthless, but we're not backing down. This isn't just about a match – it's about honor, about standing up for what's right.

Dustin Rhodes: (nodding) That's right, Stinger. We've faced our share of battles, but this goes beyond the squared circle. It's personal now.

[Sting's gaze narrows as he continues.]

Sting: (contemplative) You see, Gene, we've been around the block a few times. We've seen this kind of thing before. Just last week, Samoa Joe was viciously attacked, and we've got a feeling... a gut feeling, that the Horsemen might be behind it.

Dustin Rhodes: (firmly) And it's not the first time they've struck, either. Rey Mysterio got blindsided by those cowards, just like Joe did. The Horsemen think they can play their little games and get away with it.

Sting: (determined) Well, they've got another thing coming. We're not gonna stand by and let our friends get taken down without a fight.

Dustin Rhodes: (raising his fist) Damn right. The Horsemen may have started this, but we're gonna finish it. We're gonna make 'em pay, Road Wild.

[Sting and Dustin share a resolute nod, their unity and resolve evident.]

Sting: (looking directly into the camera) So, Bagwell, Flair, you better be ready. Because we're coming for you, and we won't rest until justice is served.

Dustin Rhodes: (firmly) And for Rey and Joe, we're gonna make sure the Horsemen pay the price for every cheap shot they've taken. Get ready, 'cause it's gonna be a fight like you've never seen before.

[Sting and Dustin walk away from the interview area, their determined footsteps echoing a promise of retribution and a stand for justice.]

Shane Helms vs. Kid Ego

Shane Helms and Kid Ego clashed in a high-octane encounter, both showcasing their agile and technical prowess. As the match heated up, the atmosphere turned chaotic when AJ Styles stormed the ring, targeting Kid Ego with a blistering assault, leaving him stunned. However, the chaos didn't stop there as Cash joined the fray, attacking Helms with aggression. Referees rushed in to restore order, ending the match in a no contest. The collision of styles left the crowd in shock, with tensions escalating between the competitors, setting the stage for future confrontations.

[As tensions simmered in the arena, Cash stepped onto the ramp, a confident sneer on his face. Meanwhile, Kid Ego lay in the ring, recovering from the earlier chaos. AJ Styles and Shane Helms stood their ground in the ring, eyes locked on Cash.]

Cash: (smirking) Well, well, well... Look at this. The so-called Cruiserweight Champion, huh? (mocking tone) Shane Helms, you're holding on to that title by a thread, and you know it. You ain't nothin' compared to me, and you sure as hell ain't nothin' compared to Cash.

Crowd: (mixed reaction)

Shane Helms: (grabbing a microphone) You think you're hot stuff, Cash? You're just running your mouth like you always do. I'm sick and tired of this mess. I've had enough!

AJ Styles: (nodding) He's right, Cash. Who are you to talk to anyone around here with that tone?

Shane Helms: (looking directly at Cash) Here's the deal, Cash. I'm willing to put my title on the line, to finish this story once and for all. I'm challenging you, Kid Ego, and AJ Styles to a match this Sunday. Four-way, winner takes all.

Crowd: (cheering)

Cash: (smirking) You're on, Helms. But let me make one thing clear – when it's all said and done, that Cruiserweight Championship will finally find its rightful home – around the waist of the only man who deserves it – me.

Shane Helms: (livid) We'll see about that, Cash. Get ready for a fight like you've never experienced before.

[With the challenge laid down and tensions escalating, the confrontation reached a boiling point, setting the stage for an intense four-way showdown on the horizon.]

[Scene: A dimly lit pub, where the sounds of casual conversations and clinking glasses fill the air. CM Punk and Shannon Moore are seated at a table, facing the camera.]

CM Punk: (leaning forward) You see, when it comes to Palumbo and O'Haire, let me be crystal clear – they might have beaten us before, but it wasn't because they were better. No, no, no... it was because they stooped to the lowest of lows, resorting to dirty tactics and cheating their way to victory.

Shannon Moore: (nodding) Yeah, that's right. We ain't blind to their games, man. We've been watching, learning, and now it's our turn to show 'em what we're made of.

CM Punk: (pointing at the camera) You hear that, Palumbo? O'Haire? Your days of running roughshod are numbered. You can't hide behind your tricks forever, 'cause this time, we're coming prepared. No shortcuts, no distractions – just a pure fight.

Shannon Moore: (raising his fist) Straight Edge Truth is about rising above the noise, about proving that you don't need that poison to be a force to be reckoned with!

CM Punk: (Punk's expression changes to a slightly disgusted look as a drink is offered to him) Take that poison away from me. We don't need any of that junk clouding our minds. We're focused, we're determined, and at the end of the day, that's what's gonna set us apart from the rest.

Shannon Moore: (firmly) Palumbo, O'Haire, you better be ready, 'cause when we step into that ring, it's gonna be a whole different ballgame. Straight Edge Truth is here to stay, and we're coming for those titles!

CM Punk: (rising from his seat) So listen up, Natural Born Thrillers – your reign of cheating is about to be cut short. Get ready to face the Straight Edge Truth, and remember, when you step in the ring with us, there's no escape from the reality we bring.

[The camera fades out as CM Punk and Shannon Moore stand tall, their determination clear in their eyes.]

Pain Killers vs. Nature's Buff

In a hard-hitting encounter, Nature's Buff emerged victorious against the formidable Pain Killers. The match showcased contrasting styles, with Buff's technical finesse countering the Killers' brute force. An intense back-and-forth struggle took place, with Buff's Figure-Four Leglock nearly sealing the win. However, a well-timed low blow by Morrus shifted the tide. Amid chaos, Bagwell managed a Buff Blockbuster on Lash Leroux for the triumphant finish.

[Backstage - Goldberg's Locker Room - Goldberg is seen warming up, stretching and preparing for his upcoming match. He's focused and intense. Suddenly, the door swings open and Booker T walks in, his demeanor confident yet serious.]

Booker T: Goldberg, we need to have a chat, man.

[Goldberg looks up, acknowledging Booker T's presence.]

Booker T: Look, Goldberg, I ain't got no beef with you. But I gotta say, Eric Bischoff's been puttin' roadblocks in my path to that WCW World Heavyweight Championship that I never truly lost. I know you want that shot too.

Goldberg: (nodding) I get it, Booker.

Booker T: Now, we both know how Team Canada can be a real pain in the butt. You are facin' Mike Awesome tonight, and with those Canucks lurking around, who knows what could go down. So, if anythin' fishy happens in your match, just know I got your back tonight.

Goldberg: I appreciate the offer, Booker, but let's make one thing clear. Come Road Wild, it's every man for himself. I respect what you're sayin', but when that bell rings, it's all about that title shot, and then… You’re next.

Booker T: That's what I like to hear. Let's do this, man.

[Booker T extends his hand, and Goldberg gives him a nod of approval. They share a brief, mutual understanding before Booker T exits the locker room. Goldberg goes back to his warm-up routine, his focus undeterred.]

Scott Steiner: (standing in the ring) Jarrett, get your ass out here right now! No Flair, no Bagwell, just you and me!

[Jeff Jarrett's music hits and he makes his way to the ring alone]

Jeff Jarrett: (entering the ring) What do you want, Steiner? You gonna whine about how I outsmarted you?

Scott Steiner: Outsmarted me, huh? Congratulations, Jeff. You pulled off the surprise of the century, forming your little Horsemen stable with Flair behind my back. I won't let it happen again.

[Flair and Bagwell suddenly appear from out of the camera shot, entering the ring and ambushing Steiner from behind. The attack catches Steiner off guard]

[The assault continues as Flair and Bagwell lay into Steiner, taking advantage of the element of surprise]

[Suddenly, Sting silently descends from the rafters, sliding into the ring with a purposeful glare. The crowd erupts in surprise as he confronts Flair and Bagwell]

[Flair and Bagwell momentarily pause, taken aback by Sting's unexpected arrival]

[With a swift and powerful motion, Steiner retrieves a hidden pipe from his trunks, using it to fend off Flair and Bagwell]

[The distraction created by Sting allows Steiner to regain his footing and turn the tide of the attack]

[Flair and Bagwell retreat, leaving the ring as Steiner and Sting stand tall]

[As Steiner and Sting share a moment of understanding, Steiner slowly extends his hand in a gesture of respect]

[Sting eyes the offered hand warily, then nods and accepts the handshake]

[Just as Sting's grip tightens around Steiner's hand, Steiner suddenly yanks Sting forward and strikes him across the back with the pipe]

[Sting crumples to the mat, caught completely off guard by Steiner's betrayal]

[The scene ends in shock as Steiner stands over the fallen Sting, the pipe in his hand, a sinister smile on his face]

Muita coisa a acontecer, gosto.

A ideia de que toda a gente tem de ganhar na estreia é sobrevalorizada (em especial no TEW 👀).

O Kanyon é dos gajos que mais tenho gostado de bookar. Crazy people are fun. 👀

Quanto ao Steiner... é fácil. Quis deixar bem claro que ele não é babyface. Quanto muito, nesta fase é um tweener. Also, deixar sementes para o futuro. 👀

O que menos gosto neste final é que faz com que o Sting pareça parvo a deixar-se apanhar na curva assim pelo Steiner.

Bischoff: And Goldberg, you'll get your chance too. I'll provide further details at a later point, but rest assured, you'll have another opportunity to earn a title shot.

(...)

Eric Bischoff: So, Booker, you better be ready. Because at Road Wild, it's you against Goldberg, and only one man will walk out as the number one contender. Get prepared to fight, to scratch, and to claw your way back to that championship spotlight.

BOOOOOOOOOOO! Tinha muito mais piada se o Bischoff deixasse o Goldberg left on read. Poor Booker T, só falta o HHH aparecer também na WCW.

Kid Courage? Karagias... Courage, close enough! Mas mais importante é o nome do stable. "Three Kids in a Trenchcoat" is right there!

Nash: Found what, pal?

Kanyon: (smirking) The trash I've been lookin' for. You!

1 - Not sure if WCW or young lions from NJPW. Gosto, ainda assim!

E será que teremos mask on the line? How very WCW...

3 - Storytelling cómico, estúpido e simples. Nem tudo tem que ser uma blood feud! Adoro.

4 - O Sting? Traído?

Sting and Dustin Rhodes vs. Nature's Buff

The bell rang, and the match erupted into action. Sting and Flair locked eyes, two icons of the wrestling world poised to engage. They circled each other, a clash of styles and egos evident in every move they made. Sting's powerful strikes clashed with Flair's underhanded tactics, a stark contrast that kept the audience on the edge of their seats.

Bagwell, ever the opportunist, tagged in and wasted no time trying to assert dominance over Sting. The friction in the ring was palpable, a mix of wrestling skill and underhanded tactics. The crowd roared as Sting fought to gain control, his determination shining through in every maneuver.

But as the match wore on, the cunning of Nature's Buff began to take its toll. Bagwell and Flair expertly exploited openings, targeting Sting's weaknesses and isolating him from his corner. The tension built, the crowd rallying behind Sting, urging him to break free from the clutches of his opponents.

At a crucial juncture, Sting managed to tag in Dustin Rhodes, the fresh energy injecting new life into the bout. Dustin unleashed a barrage of powerful strikes, his resilience and heart evident in every blow. He fought with the fire of a man determined to protect his legacy and honor.

As the match neared its climax, a shocking turn of events unfolded. Suddenly, Dustin Rhodes attacked Sting, blindsiding his own partner. The crowd erupted in boos, the audible gasps reflecting their disbelief. Dustin's abrupt alignment with Nature's Buff signaled a seismic shift in alliances.

Dustin's onslaught continued, his assault on Sting painting a vivid picture of his newfound allegiance. Flair and Bagwell reveled in the chaos, their smiles reflecting their satisfaction at their cunning plan's success. With Sting incapacitated, the referee counted the pinfall, sealing the victory for Nature's Buff.

As the final bell rang, Dustin stood tall alongside Flair and Bagwell, their collective image forming an unsettling alliance. The three men celebrated in the ring, their triumphant posturing marked by the iconic "four fingers" gesture - a chilling declaration that the Four Horsemen had returned to prominence. The arena bore witness to this shocking turn of events, leaving the wrestling world in shock and setting the stage for a new era of turmoil and betrayal.

[The arena was charged with anticipation as Kanyon, an enigmatic figure with a reputation for unpredictability, made his way to the ring. Microphone in hand, he wasted no time in airing his grievances to the eager audience.]

Kanyon: (exasperated) "Ladies and gentlemen, I've had enough of this. Kevin Nash, you're avoiding me, man. You're dodging our showdown, and I've had it!"

[The crowd responded with a mix of cheers and jeers, clearly divided over Kanyon's words. But before he could continue, the electric strains of music announced the arrival of Diamond Dallas Page (DDP). The crowd's reaction shifted, as they knew that whenever DDP was in the picture, things were bound to get interesting.]

DDP: (with a confident grin) "Whoa, whoa, whoa, Kanyon. Hold up just a minute, buddy. You're not the only one wondering where Nash has been lately."

[Kanyon eyed DDP skeptically, sensing that there might be more to this encounter than met the eye.]

Kanyon: (raising an eyebrow) "And what's that got to do with me, DDP?"

DDP: (leaning on the ropes) "Well, considering that someone attacked Nash backstage earlier, I'd say it's got everything to do with you."

[The crowd gasped at the revelation, murmurs rippling through the audience as they absorbed the shocking news.]

Kanyon: (feigning innocence) "Hey, don't look at me, man. I ain't got time for that."

[DDP's gaze didn't waver, his steely gaze fixed on Kanyon as he spoke with conviction.]

DDP: (pointing a finger) "You know, Kanyon, I've known you for a long time. We've had our share of battles, but I never thought you'd stoop this low."

[Kanyon's expression shifted from nonchalance to irritation, his facade cracking under DDP's scrutiny.]

Kanyon: (defensive) "Hey, don't you dare accuse me of something I didn't do, DDP."

[DDP's grin remained, his eyes dancing with a mixture of confidence and challenge.]

DDP: (leaning in) "Well, if you're so innocent, how about proving it? How about proving it right here, right now?"

[The audience erupted with cheers at the prospect of an impromptu match, the tension in the air growing thicker with each passing moment.]

Kanyon: (hesitating) "My problem is with Nash, not with you... But, if you want a piece of me, DDP... You got it."

[With those words, Kanyon dropped the microphone and assumed a defensive stance, ready for a fight. DDP grinned, clearly relishing the moment.]

DDP: (nodding) "That's what I like to hear."

[The referee's signal rang out, and the match was officially underway, as Kanyon and DDP locked eyes, ready to settle their differences in the ring.]

Diamond Dallas Page vs. Kanyon

As the bell rang, the match kicked off with both competitors circling cautiously, each sizing the other up. Kanyon's crazed grins and erratic movements were met with DDP's focused intensity, a clear contrast that set the stage for an intriguing clash.

Kanyon wasted no time in trying to throw DDP off his game, lunging forward with an unorthodox attack. DDP, however, sidestepped the assault and responded with a series of crisp punches that sent Kanyon reeling. With the momentum in his favor, DDP followed up with a powerful clothesline, sending Kanyon crashing to the mat.

But Kanyon, true to his unstable character, displayed an uncanny ability to bounce back from adversity. He rolled out of the ring, his laughter echoing eerily throughout the arena. DDP watched, a mix of concern and determination in his eyes, as Kanyon paced around the ringside area.

When Kanyon re-entered the ring, the match became a back-and-forth exchange of offense, each competitor countering the other's moves with precision. Kanyon's unique moveset, marked by his innovative maneuvers and sudden bursts of speed, kept DDP on his toes. Yet DDP's experience and determination shone through, as he managed to weather Kanyon's unpredictable assaults.

The climax of the match came as DDP capitalized on a momentary lapse in Kanyon's focus. With the crowd rallying behind him, DDP unleashed his signature Diamond Cutter out of nowhere, a move that had spelled defeat for countless opponents before Kanyon.

As the referee counted the three-count, the crowd erupted in cheers as DDP's music blared throughout the arena. DDP, his chest heaving from the exertion of the match, stood tall in the center of the ring, victorious.

But the drama wasn't over yet. Kanyon, showing a rare moment of clarity, extended his hand in a gesture of sportsmanship, offering DDP a handshake. The crowd buzzed with anticipation, wondering if DDP would accept the olive branch.

To their surprise, DDP hesitated, his expression torn between suspicion and the desire to believe in the sincerity of Kanyon's gesture. After a tense pause, DDP shook his head and refused the handshake, instead pointing a finger at Kanyon, his gaze accusing.

Kanyon's face contorted into a mixture of frustration and disappointment, the moment of connection slipping away. The tension in the ring was palpable as DDP's refusal hung in the air. With a final frustrated glance at DDP, Kanyon exited the ring, leaving the crowd to ponder the intricate dynamics at play between these two competitors.

In the aftermath of the match, the questions surrounding Kanyon's motives and actions continued to loom, leaving both the crowd and the competitors themselves wondering what twists and turns lay ahead on the road to the next chapter of their rivalry.

[Backstage, the atmosphere crackled with intensity as Scott Steiner stood before the camera, his bulging muscles rippling beneath his taut skin. He grabbed the microphone and brought it to his lips, his eyes blazing with a ferocity that matched his reputation.]

Steiner: Listen up, you son of a bitch Jarrett! This is it. Two fuckin' months I've been waitin' for this moment. Two fuckin' months of watchin' you strut around like a peacock with that shiny gold around your waist. But tonight, it ends.

[His voice rumbled like thunder, and his words dripped with raw animosity as he continued.]

Steiner: You thought you could mess with me and my brother, thought you could use Flair and that piece of shit Bagwell to take us out? Nah, that ain't how it's gonna play out. I'm comin' for you, Jarrett. You can hide behind your Horsemen buddies all you fuckin' want, but I ain't afraid of nothin'.

[His grip tightened on the microphone, his knuckles whitening as he spoke with a chilling intensity.]

Steiner: You think I care if the Horsemen interfere? You think I give a damn 'bout Flair or that Puff Bagwell? Nah, I'll beat their sorry asses down if I have to. But you, Jarrett, you better listen up. You can't hide forever. You can't duck and dodge me forever.

[Steiner's voice dropped to a low, menacing growl.]

Steiner: So you better fuckin' grow a pair, Jarrett! You're wearin' that gold, but you ain't a true champion. You're just Flair's puppet, and he'll toss you aside the moment he thinks he can take that damn title himself.

[His eyes burned with a fiery determination as he delivered his final warning.]

Steiner: So you better come ready, Jarrett. You better bring every trick, every fuckin' cheat, every low blow you got. 'Cause it won't save you. I'm gonna fuckin' tear you apart, piece by fuckin' piece. And when I'm done, there won't be nothin' left of you but a god’dang memory.

[With those fierce words hanging in the air, Steiner's stare bore into the camera, his message of vengeance and retribution echoing in every profanity-laden word. As the intensity of his promo reverberated throughout the backstage area, it was clear that the clash between Steiner and Jarrett at Road Wild was set to be a battle of epic proportions. ]

Mean Gene Okerlund: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with the four-time WCW Champion, Booker T. Booker, you're moments away from facing Goldberg. What's going through your mind right now?

Booker T: Well, Mean Gene, I ain't gonna lie. Tonight, I'm standin' here, facin' Goldberg. Now, I've got no beef with the man. But tonight, it's all about that golden ticket – my shot at gettin' back what's rightfully mine, that World Heavyweight Championship.

Mean Gene Okerlund: You've had your fair share of obstacles recently, Booker. What do you think about the challenges Eric Bischoff has been throwing your way?

Booker T: Man, Bischoff's been messin' with me ever since I lost that title in that triple threat. I don't know why he's got this axe to grind against me, but I've dealt with a lot worse in my career. Tonight, it's about focus, determination, and showin' the world that Booker T ain't gonna back down.

Mean Gene Okerlund: And how about Goldberg? He's had his own issues with Bischoff's decisions lately.

Booker T: Goldberg, he's been screwed over just like me. Tonight, we ain't enemies, but we're two warriors goin' head to head for a shot at that title. So, Goldberg, I respect you, man, but tonight, I ain't holdin' back. I gotta do what I gotta do to get that rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Mean Gene Okerlund: Strong words, Booker. Any last thoughts before you head out for your match?

Booker T: Yeah, Mean Gene. Eric Bischoff, you can keep throwin' obstacles in my path, but know this – I'm not backin' down. I'm gonna keep pushin', keep fightin', and keep showin' the world that Booker T is a true champion. Goldberg, you better bring your A-game, 'cause tonight, it's gonna be a war.

Mean Gene Okerlund: There you have it, folks. Booker T is ready to go to war with Goldberg for that golden ticket to the World Heavyweight Championship. Back to you at ringside.

The two exchanged blows, with Booker's martial arts skills impressively matching Goldberg's brute force. The crowd was roaring as Booker managed to execute a picture-perfect spinebuster, sending a shockwave through the arena.

The impact reverberated through the arena, and the fans were on their feet in awe. Goldberg followed up with his signature jackhammer, lifting Booker T high into the air before driving him forcefully to the mat. The referee's hand slapped the mat for the three-count, and the arena erupted as Goldberg emerged victorious.

After the match, as the crowd cheered Goldberg's triumph, he extended his hand to Booker T, who was still recovering from the onslaught. With mutual respect and sportsmanship, Booker T accepted the handshake, showing that despite the fierce competition, the warriors recognized each other's dedication and skills. The crowd roared their approval as these two legendary competitors shared a moment of camaraderie in the ring.

[In a dimly lit backstage area, Jeff Jarrett stood with a confident smirk on his face, flanked by his allies Ric Flair, Buff Bagwell, and Dustin Rhodes.]

Jeff Jarrett: Well, well, well, ain't this a cozy little gathering? The Horsemen stand united, just like always. Now, let me address the so-called "Big Bad Booty Daddy," Scott Steiner. You want to run your mouth, Steiner? You want to play tough guy? But let's be real, you've never been known for your brains, have you?

[Jarrett's words were dripping with arrogance, and the Horsemen behind him nodded in agreement.]

Jeff Jarrett: You say I've outsmarted you, Steiner? Damn right I have! Time and time again, I've proven that I'm one step ahead. You see, I've got the Horsemen at my side, and we're a family. We watch each other's backs, and that's something you'll never understand.

[A malicious grin crept across Jarrett's face as he continued.]

Jeff Jarrett: And as for your threats, Steiner, I ain't scared. Not one bit. You can bring all the rage, all the brute force you want. But just remember, you're the one who's been on the losing end every time we've crossed paths.

[He glanced at Flair, Bagwell, and Rhodes, who nodded in agreement once more.]

Jeff Jarrett: And let's not forget your "brother," the one-legged wonder. That's gotta be real handy in a fight, huh? But hey, keep hiding behind that, Steiner. Keep relying on your brother to bail you out, 'cause when it comes down to it, you're nothing more than a washed-up has-been with a chip on his shoulder.

[With a final smug smirk, Jarrett turned away from the camera, his confident entourage following suit. The Four Horsemen had made their statement, ready to face Steiner and whatever challenges he might bring.]

[As the camera panned out from the scene, the aura of tension and animosity hung heavily in the air, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the impending collision between Jarrett and Steiner at Road Wild. ]

Natural Born Thrillers (c) vs. Straight Edge Truth

The bell rings, and Punk steps forward, locking eyes with O'Haire. The two circle each other, a clash of styles evident from the start. Punk, the gritty technician, tries to outwrestle the powerhouse O'Haire, who counters with sheer strength. A series of grapples and reversals showcase their technical prowess, the crowd applauding the athleticism on display.

Palumbo tags in, and the Thrillers take control. The duo's seamless teamwork is highlighted as they isolate Moore in their corner, alternating quick tags and double-team moves. Moore fights to break free, using his agility to avoid strikes and create an opening. He finally counters with a jaw-dropping enzuigiri, staggering Palumbo and creating the window to tag in Punk.

Punk enters the ring like a wildfire, unleashing a flurry of strikes on Palumbo. His explosive offense momentarily takes the Thriller off balance. A well-executed bulldog earns Punk a near fall, and the crowd roars in approval. But Palumbo's resilience shines through as he battles back, showcasing his raw power with a spinebuster that rattles the ring.

O'Haire is tagged in, and the Thrillers reclaim control. Their dominance is palpable as they isolate Punk, cutting off the ring and systematically wearing him down. As the match nears its climax, chaos ensues with all four competitors in the ring. O'Haire's powerhouse offense clashes with Moore's high-flying moves, while Punk trades strikes with Palumbo. Fuck you and your gifs.

Title Match on TV? Very on brand for WCW!

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATERIAL!

Steiners ❤️.

The Colosseum at Caesar's Palace is electric as the WCW Nitro show begins. The commentators - Tony Schiavone, Bobby Heenan, and Scott Hudson - are in their element as they introduce the night's proceedings.

Tony Schiavone: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to WCW Nitro, broadcasting live from the grandeur of The Colosseum at Caesar's Palace! Get ready for an unforgettable night!

Bobby Heenan: You said it, Tony! And let's not forget, the stakes are high tonight. I can already feel the tension in the air!

Scott Hudson: Absolutely, Bobby. And we're kicking things off with a bang! The new WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Scott Steiner, is in the house, and he's got something to say!

[The arena shakes with excitement as Scott Steiner strides out, the WCW World Heavyweight Championship hanging over his shoulder. He enters the ring, grabs the microphone, and the crowd's cheers grow even louder.]

Scott Steiner: Listen up, you freaks! Last night at Hog Wild, I proved I'm the real champ around here! I took down Jarrett's sorry ass and I took back MY belt!

[The crowd roars in approval, showing their support for the new champion.]

Scott Steiner: But let me tell you something - I ain't done with those Horsemen yet! Flair, Jarrett, you think you can mess with me? You think you can stab me in the back and walk away?

[The crowd's boos echo through the arena at the mention of Flair and Bagwell's names.]

Scott Steiner: Flair, you senile old man, get your ass out here! I wanna hear from you - do you have the balls to step into War Games with me?

[The anticipation builds as Steiner's challenge hangs in the air. Suddenly, the haunting notes of "Also sprach Zarathustra" pierce the arena, and Ric Flair struts onto the stage, oozing confidence and arrogance.]

Ric Flair: Whoo! Steiner, you got some guts, kid! You wanna step into the most dangerous match in WCW history? You think you can hang in War Games, with the Four Horsemen!?

Scott Steiner: Damn right, Flair! And I've got a partner who's itching to tear through your cronies!

[Just as tensions between Steiner and Flair reach their peak, a burst of energy erupts from the crowd as Sting's music blares. The Stinger descends from the rafters, landing smoothly in the ring next to Scott Steiner.]

Sting: Hold up, guys! If we're talking War Games, you better believe I'm not sitting this one out! Flair, you and the Horsemen have had it coming for a long time!

[The crowd roars its approval, the prospect of a War Games match between these bitter rivals igniting their enthusiasm.]

Eric Bischoff's Voice (over the arena's sound system): Hold on, everyone. I've got something to say about this situation.

[The giant screen above the entranceway flickers to life, displaying Eric Bischoff standing in his office.]

Eric Bischoff: Steiner, Sting - you want War Games? I'm not one to deny a spectacle. How about this: Scott Steiner and Kronik against Sting, Samoa Joe, and a partner of your choice, tonight?

[The crowd hums with excitement, intrigued by the potential partners in this epic showdown.]

Eric Bischoff: And there's more - the winners of that match will indeed face the Horsemen in War Games at Fall Brawl!

[The arena bursts into cheers, realizing the enormity of Bischoff's announcement.]

Scott Steiner: You're damn right, Bischoff! Flair, Jarrett, and the whole damn Horsemen better be ready, 'cause we're coming for them!

Sting: It's time to end this, once and for all!

[The crowd roars with approval as Steiner and Sting share a determined look, both on opposing side, both with a scotr to settle with the Four Horsemen. The camera pans out, capturing the intensity of the moment as Nitro commences with a bang.]

Tony Schiavone: Ladies and gentlemen, we've got a thrilling tournament on the horizon to crown the new United States Champion! Four matches are set to kickstart this intense competition.

Bobby Heenan: That's right, Tony! We've got former United States Champions clashing in one bracket, and new challengers squaring off in the other. This is history in the making either way you put it!

[Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) approaches Kevin Nash backstage, concerned about Nash's condition after his attack. Nash, with a sly grin, assures DDP that he's feeling better.]

DDP: Hey big man, how you holding up after last night?

Nash: (smirking) I'm already feeling good, D. Nothing a little rest won't fix.

DDP: (raising an eyebrow) You sure about that? I mean, you got taken out pretty hard.

Nash: (leaning against a wall) Yeah, I know. But you know how it is, D. We've been through worse.

DDP: (nodding) Yeah, you're right. But you saw who attacked you, right?

Nash: (casually) Saw? Nah, man, I didn't see a thing.

DDP: (confused) Wait, what? You didn't see anything?

Nash: (smirking again) Nope, nothing. But hey, Kanyon's a good guess, ain't he?

DDP: (pausing) Yeah, I guess. But, Kanyon's not exactly known for being subtle. And you know, last night I confronted him about it. He denied it, said he wouldn't lie to me.

Nash: (nonchalant) Well, you know how it is, D. Everyone's got their secrets.

DDP: (looking skeptical) Yeah, I guess. But you trust him?

Nash: (casually) Trust? Who said anything about trust, D? We're all just in this business to survive, right?

DDP: (nodding slowly) Yeah, I suppose you're right.

Nash: (patting DDP's shoulder) Don't sweat it, buddy. I'll be back in no time.

DDP: (nodding) Yeah, alright. I'm gonna see if I can get the CCTV footage from Sturgis. Maybe we can confirm who did this.

Nash: (raising an eyebrow) Nah, no need for that, D. I'm sure it was just a random thing.

DDP: (a bit puzzled) You think so?

Nash: (smirking) Yeah, trust me. I got a gut feeling about it.

DDP: (hesitating) Alright, if you say so. Take care of yourself, big man.

Nash: (waving him off) Will do, D. Catch you later.

[Nash's subtle smirk grows as DDP walks away, leaving Nash alone. As Nash watches him go, his expression shifts from the friendly facade to something more calculating, hinting at a hidden agenda.]

[The arena fills with boisterous cheers as Buff Bagwell, Ric Flair, and Jeff Jarrett stride confidently to the ring. Their triumphant celebration resonates with the crowd. Flair takes the mic, his commanding presence commanding attention.]

Flair: Woo! Look at this, Las Vegas! The Four Horsemen are back in town, and we've got our sights set on Fall Brawl! War Games, baby! The most dangerous match in the history of this business! Ain't that right, Double J?

[Jarrett takes the microphone from Flair, a smirk of arrogance on his face.]

Jarrett: You got that right, Naitch! War Games is our domain. We've got the experience, the legacy, and the skill to dominate any team that steps up. And guess what? We're callin' you out, Sting! Or you, Steiner! It don't matter. We're ready to put on a clinic in brutality!

[The crowd's boos intensify as Buff Bagwell grabs the microphone.]

Bagwell: You see, folks, War Games ain't for the faint-hearted. It's where warriors shine and legends are made. Ain't that right, Rhodes?

Flair raises his hand, motioning for Dustin Rhodes to speak. Rhodes nods, his eyes fixed on the camera.

Rhodes: (Silent, with a smug smile)

Flair: That's right, baby! Fall Brawl, the Four Horsemen will reign supreme. We'll show you why we're the kings of this ring, why nobody can match our dominance. So, Sting, Steiner, whoever you bring, you better be ready for a war you'll never forget! Woo!

With that, the Horsemen raise their hands in the iconic "four fingers" salute, their alliance resolute and their challenge laid down.

John Cena: Yo, Bigelow, listen up, you ain't so tough,

Last week I took a hit, but tonight's enough,

You might've got the win, man, that's true,

But trust me, I'm coming back, I'm aiming for you.

You strut around like you're a big shot,

But in the ring, you ain't nothing but a dot,

You think you're flying high, soaring like an eagle,

But I'm here to tell you, you're just feeble.

Bam Bam, you're a relic, a thing of the past,

I'm the future, the one who'll forever last,

You've been around, you've had your fun,

But it's my time now, and you're gonna run.

So keep celebrating, keep that grin,

But soon enough, Bam Bam, you'll know who'll win,

I'm John Cena, and I'm here to stay,

And I'll prove it to you each and every day.

You might've won this round, but mark my words,

I'm the one who'll soar higher than the birds,

So Bam Bam, take a good look, and remember my name,

'Cause it's Cena's era now, and I'm here to claim my fame.

And as for you, Bigelow, don't get too cocky,

You might have size, but your style's kinda rocky,

I've got the charisma, the moves, and the game,

You can't escape it, man, I'm the one with the flame.

So keep your fire extinguisher close at hand,

'Cause when I'm in the ring, you won't understand,

I'll light up the place, make you feel the heat,

You'll be begging for mercy, as I take the seat.

Mean Gene Okerlund: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Scott Steiner, and his associates, Kronik. Scott, first of all, let's address the elephant in the room. Why are these gentlemen here supporting you against the Horsemen?

Brian Adams: Gene, we're professionals. We're here to do a job, and Scott's paying us to have his back. It's as simple as that. This is business, not personal.

Bryan Clarke: Yeah, we're here to make sure Steiner gets what he's paying for. The Horsemen can bring all the backup they want, but they won't stop us from doing our job.

Scott Steiner: Damn right, Gene. These boys are with me because they know I'm the man to get the job done. And speaking of jobs, I've got an ironclad contract with Kronik, and it's their job to make sure the Horsemen regret crossing my path.

Mean Gene Okerlund: Fair enough. Now, let's talk about Sting and Samoa Joe. They've also got their sights set on the Horsemen, and you're facing them tonight. What can we expect from that match?

Scott Steiner: Look, Gene, let me make this real clear. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is gonna stand between me and my revenge on the Horsemen. Sting, Fat Joe, they might have their own reasons, but tonight, is our night. And when we step in that ring, it's gonna be god'amn insanity. The Horsemen thought they could do whatever they wanted, but they messed with the wrong guy. I took the World Heavyweight Championship from Jarrett, and now I'm gonna humiliate the Four Horsemen. They're gonna regret the day they ever messed with the damn Big Bad Booty Daddy!

Sting, Samoa Joe and Billy Kidman vs. Scott Steiner and Kronik

The match saw a lot of back-and-forth, with each team attempting to gain the upper hand. The crowd roared as momentum shifted between the teams. The special guest commentator, Ric Flair, added a layer of tension as he engaged in verbal sparring with Sting and even exchanged heated glares with Steiner.

As the match neared its climax, chaos ensued. A referee bump left the officials momentarily incapacitated, creating an opportunity for Steiner and Kronik to attempt to cheat their way to victory. However, the situation took an unexpected turn as the arena erupted with the entrance theme of Goldberg.

Goldberg stormed down the ramp, his presence instantly changing the landscape of the match. He thwarted Steiner and Kronik's cheating attempts, leveling the playing field. This allowed Sting to seize the moment and apply his iconic Scorpion Deathlock submission on Bryan Clarke. Despite Kronik's attempt to intervene, the pressure was too much, and Clarke was forced to tap out.

The crowd erupted in cheers as the referee signaled for the bell, declaring Sting, Samoa Joe, and Billy Kidman the victors. The atmosphere was electric as the triumphant team celebrated in the ring. Goldberg stood tall at ringside, his presence sending a clear message that he wouldn't tolerate injustice.

With a focused glare, Goldberg locked eyes on the downed form of Scott Steiner, the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. The cheers grew louder as Goldberg's intentions became crystal clear.

In a heartbeat, Goldberg lunged forward, covering the distance between him and Steiner in a matter of seconds. His massive frame collided with Steiner's, delivering a thunderous spear that shook the ring and echoed throughout the arena.

Steiner's body convulsed from the impact, and the fans erupted into cheers. The WCW World Title lay just inches away, serving as a visual reminder of what Goldberg had his sights set on.

Meanwhile, on the outside of the ring, Kronik (Brian Adams and Bryan Clarke) looked on, their expressions a mix of shock and perhaps a touch of apprehension. Goldberg's presence was an undeniable force, and even they seemed to hesitate to interfere.

As Steiner lay motionless on the mat, Goldberg rose to his feet, his chest heaving with exertion and adrenaline. The crowd's cheers reached a fever pitch as he held his arms aloft, the WCW World Title gleaming in the arena lights.

With the cameras capturing every electrifying moment, Goldberg stood tall at ringside, his message resonating far and wide. The show closed on this iconic image, leaving no doubt that Goldberg's pursuit of championship gold was far from over, and the world of WCW was about to witness an unstoppable force on the path to glory.

Steiner a perder o primeiro combate após ganhar o título... BOOOOOOOOOOOO! Mas faz sentido, deixa a história entre ele e os Horsemen no back burner para mais tarde, faz sentido.

Aposto no Dustin para US Champ e devo também notar que os fans no Wreddit estão bastante desapontados com a ausência do Booker T!
