O Gallinari seria o sixth man.

ProkhoLov Publicado 12 Junho 2008 Ja foi avaliado! http://www.nba.com/nets/news/Draft_Central...-274424-64.html Grego http://www.nba.com/nets/news/Draft_Central...-274094-64.html “Koufas can shoot! He reminds me somewhat of (Nenad) Krstic with a nice face up game. Range is easily out to 18 ft. He is more athletic than Nenad with a slimmer lower body . Moves well laterally and has a nice vertical. He isn’t particularly fast or large but a hustler who isn’t afraid of contact. They did a drill where they shot 10 short jumpers, 12 feet or so from the baselines and elbows. Kousfos shot 34 out of 40. Granted, the shots weren’t contested but his outside shot also looked very smooth in the brief scrimmages. “The kid needs to develop a low post game and get his legs stronger to compete on the boards. “When I remarked about his likeness to Nenad, I was told that the ypunger Nenad had a more developed post game but that the frames were similar. ”(Koufos) was much more impressive than either of the Lopez brothers in workouts. Koufas didn’t show much of a post game. He didn’t establish himself low enough and his footwork isn’t yet refined but he looks like he has the ability and desire to learn quickly. Shot was as good in scrimmage and in shoot around. He impressed staff . Stefanski was there watching. “Koufos has a year of college ball. Can he develop a good low post game? I would think so because he seems to possess the right mental and physical attributes but I honestly don’t know. “Right now, he seems to be a energetic player who plays more of a finesse game. He has a really good J with range but he never establish deep position and he drifted away from the basket on hooks and jumpers in the paint. “I could see the Nets considering (Koufos) at 10. He definitely caught the eye of the staff. Frank, Thorn and Kiki all grabbed him right after the practice. Kid has a great asttitude and approach.” Randolph http://www.nba.com/nets/news/Draft_Central...-274429-64.html “Randolph was terrible. Great vertical and length and that’s about it off today.”

ProkhoLov Publicado 16 Junho 2008 Danilo Gallinari didn’t plan on working out with anyone other than the Nets and Knicks, but flew to LA this weekend anyway for sessions with two teams high in the lottery, the Grizzlies and Clippers. The Italian point forward has until 5 p.m. Monday to pull out of the draft and likely will unless he gets a guarantee from a top 10 team. The Nets are believed to be his top preference.
ProkhoLov Publicado 17 Junho 2008 Monday, June 16th 2008 - PRESS RELEASE After some workouts and having carefully evalued any opportunity for his career, Danilo Gallinari decided to attend the 2008 Nba Draft. In this very moment Danilo and his father are in Los Angeles, waiting to be joined by the rest of the family. More news on 2008 Nba Draft (June 26th) will come soon on the official website www.danilogallinari.it :-| __ Gallinari Guarantee? Posted by Dave D. June 16, 2008 4:16PM We've been trying to piece together the Danilo Gallinari conundrum today, after we saw those conflicting reports -- from Chad and number of others - about whether the Italian kid has a guarantee. Here's one (very) prominent agent's take on it: Of course he does. The deadline for pulling out of the draft has passed, Gallinari is sticking around, and that may serve as ample confirmation that the agent is right. "I think Jersey has given him a guarantee," the agent said. "Though it's more like, 'If you're still around at 10, we'll take you.' Just to keep him in it, a promise that they're not going to pass on him." No, he claimed, he hasn't spoken with Nets brass about it. He just has a lot of experience with such machinations, and after staring at the board for the past month, he thinks every team has concluded that nobody better that Gallinari will be around at No. 10 anyway. Of course, this conceivably could change on Friday, when the Nets bring in small forward Joe Alexander of Rod Thorn University. If they fall in love with him - and he's 10 times more athletic than Gallinari will ever be - the deadline will have passed, all bets are off, and Gallinari will likely be drafted by a team he doesn't want to play for. Contact sport. "But I don't think Gallinari ever had any plans to go back to Milan," the agent continued, noting that his information is from peers who recruited the kid. "It's my understanding that he doesn't really have another deal on the table. I just know his father negotiated an extension of about two or three years, with a minimal buyout - at least 500 (Gs). "Again, I don't know anything to be factual, I'm only being logical. I can't speak of where the kid's head is. But nobody ever got the impression he wented to go back to Milan." So it's the same old song and dance: This is about Arn Tellem leveraging his client to a big market - Gallinari has worked out only for the Knicks, Nets and Clippers - and as of 5:01, it would appear that ol' Arn got his wish.
