Treinador do Bayern Munique emocionou-se quando recebeu a notícia de que o pai de Hojbjerg tem pouco tempo de vida

O drama familiar de Pierre Emile Hojbjerg está a tocar o plantel do Bayern de Munique e Pep Guardiola em particular. O médio, considerado o jogador revelação da Dinamarca, soube recentemente que o pai tem poucos tempo de vida devido a um cancro e chegou ao treino dos bávaros em lágrimas.

O resto da história é contada pelo jornal "Bild". Ao ver o estado desolado de Hojbjerg, Guardiola aproximou-se do médio e perguntou-lhe a razão das lágrimas. "Posso ficar sem o meu pai, tenho 18 anos, estou aqui na Alemanha e estou sozinho. Que vou fazer?", terá dito o médio. "Tens de estar com as pessoas próximas de ti, caso contrário o teu trabalho ressente-se", reagiu o técnico, antes de se remeter ao silêncio e começar, também ele, a chorar.

Guardiola prometeu fazer tudo para ajudar Hojbjerg e, de acordo com o periódico, está a cumprir. A primeira medida passou por pedir ao clube para que o pai do médio se mudasse para a Alemanha, onde recebe atualmente tratamento.
