MICHAEL ELGIN: UNBREAKABLE (2 DISC SET)

 

Since the day he broke into wrestling, Michael Elgin has been driven to succeed. Logging thousands of miles on his car crossing international borders, competing everwhere he could, Elgin had one primary goal: to compete for Ring of Honor. First accomplishing that goal in 2007, it wasn't until 2010 when Elgin was introduced as the newest member of The House of Truth that his dreams finally began to come true. This is the story of how it became a reality...

 

On the day of Final Battle 2012, Elgin sat down with our cameras to look back on his journey. From travels around the US & Canada to his first taste of ROH competition, Elgin discusses the highs & lows of his wrestling career including how a serious knee injury affected him, the wrestlers that shaped him as an athlete, and that defining bout against Davey Richards that was voted 2012 ROH Match of the Year.

 

In addition to the 60-minute interview, this 2-disc DVD set also features Elgin take on the cream of the crop in men like Christopher Daniels, Eddie Edwards, Chris Hero, & Kevin Steen. Between the wars he fought in the ring, and the passion with which he talks about his wrestling career, it is easy to see why there is no more appropriate moniker for Michael Elgin than UNBREAKABLE!

Resultou no combate do ano de 2011 e um dos melhores que alguma vez vi. É o Savage x Hogan, o Austin x The Rock desta geração. Espero que seja ME de uma das próximas duas Manias, considerando que na XXX provavelmente há Cena x Taker para evitar que o Taker se retire sem haver este combate.

E agora num dos combates do ano de 2013 e provavelmente a TV-MOTY. Fenomenais, estes dois. Principalmente juntos.

Devia ser crime dizer que o Cena só consegue fazer 5 moves e coisas desse género. Enorme combate ontem (mais um). E concordo a 100% com o perep, esta será uma rivalidade que será relembrada durante anos e anos.

O Sheamus deve lutar com o Barrett pelo IC, e deve haver ainda uma battle royal ou multi-man match para premiar os gajos que mereceram ao longo do ano (Kofi, PTP, Rhodes, Sandow...) e talvez ainda o Kaitlyn x Layla.

Sim, faz sentido, não estava a conseguir encaixar o Jericho e esqueci-me das Divas. Quantos a esses que falas, eu gostava de ver uma espécie de Gauntlet pelos Tag Titles. Algo como Team Hell No vs PTP vs Kofi e Truth vs Rhodes Scholars. Fazia mais sentido do que uma "mera" Battle Royal e ainda dava alguns bons spots.
