No livro Sniper on the Eastern Front, talvez o melhor livro que já li, o escritor testemunhou alguns desses casos e relata-os no livro. Basicamente foi enviado para o leste, para proteger as tropas Nazis contra os russos, enquanto estes recuavam em direção à Alemãnha.

Não é só a questão de Labour estar amorfo, mas as "massas" conservadoras não se importam com nada disto. O facto do Johnson ser um palhaço acaba por tirar seriedade a tudo o que ele faz, e a maioria dos conservadores não leva a mal.

Eles acabam sempre por criar uma culture war para fazer mais barulho noutra coisa qualquer em que sejam "us vs them".

Ukraine’s prime minister says the besieged city of Mariupol hasn't yet fallen to Russia and the Ukrainian forces there will fight “to the end.”

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal appealed during a Sunday appearance on an American television broadcast for help for the approximately 100,000 Ukrainians who remain trapped in the eastern city without food, water, heat and electricity.

Lviv’s mayor told Fox News Monday that the western Ukrainian city "must be ready" for further attacks from the Russian military after a series of fresh airstrikes there reportedly left at least 7 people dead. 

The deaths are the first to occur inside the city since Russia launched its invasion on Feb. 24, Andriy Sadovyi also said.
