Pollyanna Chu the richest woman in China, Casino Billionnaire and secret backer of Birmingham City owner Carson Yeung has launched a full take over of Birmingham City FC. She has become tired of sitting in the back ground and is now coming to the very front of the Birmingham City board, already having her right hand man Bruno Zhweng Wu. Having already secured the Lucrative Xtep deal during the summer her and her top media man are now prepared to launch an onslaught on china and bring in some big players to ensure Birmingham's Premiership survival.

A quick recap:

last quarter of 2010 there was confirmation that the liabilties of BIH exceeded its assets and it was at risk of trading insolvently (legal offence). This had been brought about becasue the price CY paid for BCFC was too high as subsequently revealed by an independent financial valuation. This was the reason CY was so upset with G&S. The siutation was resolved when CY guaranteed to personally underwite the net liability of around £7m and satisied the PL.

In November, BIH announced a share issue aimed at raising several million pounds. The results have not been announced and it was due for completion early December but as around £5m was underwritten most of the funding gap has been sorted. This was for working capital (to run the club).

In December BIH announced that a major acquisition plnned since March last year in the media/entertainment sector (in PRC) would not proceed as the valuation placed on the sales was considered excessive.

Also in December, it was announced that a company owned by CY was to be bought by BIH for a combination of cash and a bond convertible into shares. £2m in cash. The company holds land in PRC and provides an opportunity for property development. The transaction appears to be a means to widen BIH into an broad investment vehicle with the prime purpose of underwriting the football club.

The transaction was not expectedto be completed until March 2011.

From memory CY holds about 17% of BIH shares and is Executive Director.

The announcement to suspend trading in shares due to a transaction may relate to confirmation that the acquisition has met with approval of shareholders and is going through. Or it may relate to the outright acquisition by a 3rd party but there is no indiaction of this that I can see so I can see no reason for the reports re a sale/acquisition.

BIH is the holding company of which BCFC is a part.

Gerard Houllier brings in Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker on six-month loan.

Villa are pleased to confirm that Kyle Walker has joined on loan from Tottenham Hotspur to the end of the season.

The England U21 defender arrived at Bodymoor Heath this morning before undergoing a medical and completing the formalities of his move.

"I'm excited about being here and proving that I'm good enough to play in the Premier League," he said.

"That's why Tottenham bought me from Sheffield United and that's what I'm keen to show here at Villa.

"This is a great opportunity for me and I'm looking forward to taking it. I know several of the players here from England U19s and England U21s - Nathan Delfouneso, Ciaran Clark and Marc Albrighton.

"In fact, I roomed with Ciaran when we played Lithuania and Portugal in qualifiers for the European U21 championship and I'm sure those lads will help me to settle in and enjoy my time at Villa.

"I'm really keen to contribute and compete and prove myself here."

Villa manager Gerard Houllier added: "We're pleased that Kyle will be with us until the end of the season.

"He is 20 years old, an attacking full-back and a very promising young player. He will be a valuable addition to our defence."

Walker will be available to play against his former club, Sheffield United, in the FA Cup third round on Saturday at Bramall Lane.

Walker joined Tottenham from Sheffield United, along with young defender Kyle Naughton, in July 2009.

The Sheffield-born defender was subsequently loaned back to the Blades to gain further first team experience for the 2009-10 campaign.

Walker made 28 appearances for the Blades during the first half of the season before being recalled from his loan in February 2010.

He then made his Spurs first team debut in the 2-0 Premier League victory over Portsmouth in March 2010 and soon won his first cap for England at U21 level, having previously represented his country at U19 level.

After impressing for the first team during this pre-season and establishing himself in the setup, Walker joined Championship side QPR on a one-month loan in September 2010, which was subsequently extended until January 2011.

Earlier on in his career, Walker progressed through the ranks at Sheffield United before making his debut in an FA Cup tie against Leyton Orient in January 2009.

He made seven appearances for Kevin Blackwell's side all in all during 2008-09, becoming the youngest player ever to represent Sheffield United at Wembley in their play-off final defeat against Burnley in May 2009.

Prior to this, Walker also featured nine times during a loan spell at League One Northampton Town at the end of 2008.

Houllier has £15m to spend in jan.. £30m in the summer though #avfc

Agrada-me isto. E parece que ele pode ser adquirido no final da temporada por 5m

Fulham acerta contratação de Steve Sidwell

O meia Steve Sidwell é o novo reforço do Fulham.

Loans: Kiko's impact

Kiko Macheda made his debut for Sampdoria as they ran out 2-1 winners at home to Roma. The United striker came off the bench in the 78th minute with the scores locked at 1-1 and nearly made an instant impact with a header that went narrowly wide. That miss was negated, however, when Macheda played a part in teeing up Stefano Guberti's late winner for the hosts.

Ben Amos also enjoyed a successful debut with League One's Oldham Athletic, keeping a clean sheet in a 2-0 victory over Swindon Town. The young stopper was subsequently described by Latics manager Paul Dickov as a "top class keeper."

Mame Biram Diouf played the full game for Blackburn Rovers as they beat Championship high-flyers Queens Park Rangers 1-0 in a closely-fought FA Cup third round tie. Diouf was unlucky not to add to the six goals he’s already scored for Rovers this season when his 18th minute header was superbly saved by QPR keeper Paddy Kenny.

Elsewhere Cameron Stewart played 71 minutes of Hull City’s 3-2 loss at home to Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup and Nicky Ajose played 64 minutes for Bury in their 1-0 defeat away to Accrington in League Two. Danny Drinkwater was an unused sub as Cardiff City earned an FA Cup replay with a 1-1 draw at Stoke.

Danny Welbeck (Sunderland) and Tom Cleverley (Wigan Athletic) didn’t feature in their clubs’ FA Cup fixtures due to injury. Both players are suffering from damaged hamstrings and are expected to be out of action for the rest of the month.

Valencia on course

Antonio Valencia is making good progress in his rehabilitation from a fractured ankle and damaged ligaments and could be back in training in 5-6 weeks, with a return to action as early as the end of February.

The 25-year-old winger sustained his injury after an innocuous-looking challenge from Rangers’ Kirk Broadfoot in the Champions League back in September.

It was initially feared that the Ecuadorian international, who was so good for the Reds in his debut season after joining from Wigan, might miss the entire season. But that prognosis was re-evaluated after surgery and he looks to be on target to complete his recovery in just over five months.

“Antonio is making progress exactly as we thought he would,” Sir Alex revealed. “It’s always difficult when you’re talking about long-term injuries because you can be weeks out either way. But we’re certainly looking at the end of February or beginning of March.

"He should be back in training in five or six weeks. But given the extended period of time he’s been out, we’ll give him time to get back into the full flow of things.”

Villa eye Wigan duo

Moves made for Rodallega and Figueroa

Aston Villa are looking to land Wigan duo Maynor Figueroa and Hugo Rodallega, skysports.com understands.

Villa are ready to make major strides in the transfer market after so far failing to land any of their targets this month.

The Midlands outfit are now believed to be lining up a double deal for the Latics duo after owner Randy Lerner give the green light to make the move.

Skysports.com understands that Villa are ready to pay £10million for the pair, with Figueroa valued at £4million and Rodallega £6million.

Both players have attracted substantial interest over previous months, and could now be set to leave the DW Stadium.

Colombian ace Rodallega joined Wigan from Mexican side Necaxa two years ago, whilst Honduran Figueroa arrived from Olimpia 12 months earlier.

The duo are firm fans' favourites, but the Latics could find Villa's approach hard to turn down.

Adam

Skysports.com also understands that Villa have made another fresh bid for Blackpool's Charlie Adam.

Blackpool have insisted they are not looking to sell having shunned bids from both Villa and Birmingham City.

But Villa are refusing to give up and are understood to have returned to Bloomfield Road with another proposal.
