Homicídio Carlos Castro: Renato Seabra considerado culpado

A 65-year-old journalist from Portugal was found dead in a pool of blood inside a room of a posh midtown hotel Friday, police sources said.

 

Carlos Antonio De Castro's body was discovered naked and lying face up inside his 34th-floor room of the Intercontinental New York Times Square about 7 p.m., the sources said.

 

He had massive trauma to the head and his scrotum was cut off, sources said.

 

Police were searching for Renato Seabra, who checked in with De Castro on Dec. 29.

 

The two had been arguing before Seabra, in his 20s, fled and De Castro's body was found.

 

"There was a lot of noise, talking," said Suzanne Divilly, 40, who was staying two doors down from the men.

 

"You could hear them arguing in the corridor and even in our room," she said. "We didn't think anything of it, because it was none of our business."
