The Republican American website is reporting that WWE is being sued for $21.6 million by a French company as it claims clothing which was sold was not counterfeit WWE merchandise as WWE has claimed.

 

The story notes that WWE has alleged that a Portuguese company violated a licensing agreement when they sold WWE branded clothing to the French company in question.

Aqui vão algumas notícias...

 

- This can easily change, but Dave Meltzer reports that WWE has been tossing around the idea of having Sheamus vs. The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 27 in a Title Unification Match.

 

As noted earlier this week, WWE wants to have the top matches planned out by then. Another match being discussed is John Cena vs. The Miz.

 

Regarding Money in the Bank at Wrestlemania, when MITB's PPV buyrate came in low this year, it got them talking about whether or not to keep the match at Wrestlemania.

 

Also as noted before, some stars are being discussed for heel and babyface turns. Some names being considered are Jack Swagger, MVP, Kofi Kingston and R-Truth.

 

- After doing away with the Unified Tag Team Titles a few weeks ago, WWE has been wanting to make the belts more important and create more tag teams to contend for the titles.

 

Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre will face The Hart Dynasty in a non-title match on this week's Friday Night Smackdown but it's not confirmed yet if they will get a title shot at Night of Champions. It is possible WWE may add the match at the last minute.

 

There has been discussion this past week about building the tag titles up. The idea is to make a few regular teams on both RAW and Smackdown so the champions will have several credible challengers.

 

One idea is to do a Survivor Series style match at the PPV in November with tag teams from both brands. The match wouldn't necessarily be a RAW vs. Smackdown match but a heels vs. faces match.

 

- Nothing is set in stone yet for the 2011 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony in Atlanta. Since it is being held in Atlanta, obvious pushes are former WCW stars Ron Simmons and Arn Anderson. WWE is also open to Lex Luger and Sting being inducted, if Sting doesn't sign with TNA for another year.

 

There has been talk of putting Arn Anderson in the Hall with a Four Horsemen group consisting of Barry Windham and Tully Blanchard.

 

Jim Ross has been pushing for Danny Hodge to be inducted as well.

 

- People within WWE are referring to NXT Rookie Naomi Night as a "female Shelton Benjamin." This is being said about her in a good way as Shelton was respected for being one of the most athletic stars on the roster for a long time.

 

- Two matches discussed for WWE's Smackdown debut on SyFy in a few weeks could see the WWE Champion and Intercontinental Champion vs. the World Champion and the United States Champion in a RAW vs. Smackdown main event. Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio also may take place.

 

- WWE officials were talking this past week about building a The Miz vs. Randy Orton feud for the end of this year.

 

- According to F4WOnline.com, WWE has made a change to their wellness policy by banning Carisprodol (somas). The ban extends to prescriptions.

 

Somas are generally used as a muscle relaxant, but they're also a popular party drug among wrestlers. This has led to some embarrassing incidents of wrestlers passing out in public after taking too many. 1990's wrestler Louie Spicolli died after an overdose of somas and wine.

 

This ban will undeniably have a major effect on WWE's roster, many of whom are said to rely on somas to wind down and ease pain.
