As promos do Rocky sempre foram assim, mais a fazer bury aos outros gajos e a mandar piadas do que outra coisa. O Punk também está a começar a ficar assim desde que voltou, já cansa um bocadinho

Colossus, ainda agora estava a pensar nisso. Mas a verdade é que o Punk apesar de estar a repetir a rotina de ser "voice of the voiceless" consegue ter um estilo de "ataque" para o Cena, outro para o Rock, outro para o Triple H e outro para o JL. Ou seja, personaliza as promos. Não pega numa promo dirigida ao Cena e transforma-a numa para o Laurinaitis.

 

Agora o Rocky faz isso com todos, claro que em outras alturas tinha "especialidades" com o Jericho, Foley, Stone Cold, Triple H e Stephanie, mas agora parece que é sempre a mesma rotina.

ROH – CHIKARA SYNERGY

 

Baltimore, MD (January 23, 2012) - In a first time ever collaboration, Ring of Honor Wrestling Entertainment Inc. and CHIKARA fuse together to make April 28th, 2012 a Professional Wrestling Holiday in the great wrestling city of Chicago! Although both wrestling leagues are different in presentation, they have one thing 100% in common….a desire to give the fans of the Chicagoland area a day of Professional Wrestling that only dreams are made of.

 

The celebration begins in the afternoon with CHIKARA presenting "Hot Off the Griddle" and wraps up in the evening when Ring of Honor presents "Unity". This historic day of wrestling festivities all emanates from the Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago Ridge, IL.

 

Ring of Honor and CHIKARA officials sealed the deal on this special event last Friday afternoon in Philadelphia, PA. Both offices have come to an agreement that they will go above and beyond to make sure that April 28th, 2012 is a day that will go down in professional wrestling history.

 

Following that meeting, CHIKARA officials remained in attendance last Friday evening for the "Homecoming 2012" event that took place at the Philadelphia National Guard Armory as invited guests of ROH officials. CHIKARA wrestlers were also invited backstage before the event to introduce themselves to fellow ROH wrestlers in relation to the business agreement made for Chicago on April 28th.

 

Later on in the evening, CHIKARA representatives Jigsaw and Hallowicked entered the Proving Ground against ROH World Tag Team Champions, Mark and Jay Briscoe in an attempt to earn a future ROH Tag Title match. During this bout Jigsaw was pummeled by the Briscoes, driven through a ringside table, yet somehow managed to roll into the ring at the count of 19, albeit in very rough shape.

 

At this point members of the CHIKARA roster came out to ringside individually in support of their fellow comrades who were in dire straits. Mike Quackenbush, Frightmare, Dasher Hatfield, The Colony, Saturyne, and Ultra Mantis Black all made unexpected appearances leading to the CHIKARA team upsetting the Briscoes and earning that future ROH Tag Team title shot.

 

The unorthodox and bizarre personalities of CHIKARA definitely made their presence felt at "Homecoming 2012" in an unscheduled series of events and it is without question that a few ROH wrestlers, as well as members of the staff, were upset at the fact that the CHIKARA wrestlers went to ringside without permission.

 

It will be interesting to see what happens on the road to ROH-CHIKARA "Synergy" on April 28th, 2012. We can officially confirm that the first contest to be announced at ROH "Unity" is a ROH World Tag Team Championship match with The Briscoe Brothers (if they are still champions) defending against Hallowicked and Jigsaw.

Eu nem vou comentar quando leio que Urbans e coisas do género são melhores companhias que a TNA. E tem aí rankings que são de morrer a rir, Big Show vs. Mark Henry no top 10 de feuds do ano? O Turning Point segundo pior PPV do ano? A propósito do quê? E nenhuma referência ao Final Resolution? Iron Man Match entre o Roode e AJ, Steel Cage Match entre o Jarrett e o Hardy, Kid Kash vs. Austin Aries, RVD vs. Daniels e até Mickie James vs. Gail Kim.

 

O ódio à TNA é tão notório nestes rankings que até mete pena. E sim o Impact ser superior ao NXT este ano, claramente. Então quem é que não prefere ver o Titus O'Neil e o Darren Young a lutar durante 20 semanas consecutivas a ver Robert Roode, James Storm, Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, RVD, e por aí em diante...

 

Já nem falo dos Superstars que há gente que goste apesar de serem os combates com menos interesse da semana. E o Bourne estar no top dos melhores lutadores "high flying" também é ridículo tendo em conta que apenas na segunda metade do ano é que, efectivamente, teve combates. E mesmo assim nunca fez nada de especial, nem ele nem o Kingston, outro que também não fará falta nenhuma à WWE quando sair.

 

Ah e o No Surrender está também no top 10 dos piores PPVs do ano. Gostava de compreender. Deve ter sido porque a maioria de quem vota prefere rotular o produto ao invés de o ver. Só esse PPV teve: Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Sting, Ray vs. Storm, Roode vs. Gunner, Aries a ganhar o título, Roode vs. Ray... E a Wrestlemania foi sem dúvida alguma o pior PPV do ano a par do Victory Road devido ao final deste, que diga-se de passagem não é tão inferior a ver o Rock a destruir os dois main-eventers da RAW...

A minha análise da Wrestlemania é um pouco similar a esta:

Se quiseres vê ou revê. Basicamente foi decepcionante do início ao fim e o final ainda foi pior, não acho bom ter um não wrestler a destruir os dois principais nomes da RAW numa só noite.

Por alguma razão foi para mim o pior ppv da WWE este ano, mas quando o main-event do teu show nem existe porque um dos lutadores está com uma moca tão grande que nem sabe bem onde está, tu nem podes comparar. A Wrestlemania foi uma desilusão, com duas decisões em especial que não foram as melhores, mas em que quem pagou teve o que lhe foi prometido. Houve bons combates, houve segmentos engraçados, mas a promo inicial do The Rock arrastou-se demais, o Lawler devia ter arrumado com o Cole e o main-event não devia ter acabado daquela forma apesar de ser a mais óbvia. Toda a gente sabia que o The Rock iria tramar o Cena e que provavelmente também mandava o Miz às urtigas. No Victory Road, quem pagou para ver um main-event entre duas das maiores estrelas da companhia, num combate importante tendo em conta a storyline dos Immortal que foi o centro da personagem do Sting durante todo o ano anterior, mesmo antes da formação do grupo, teve de se contentar com meia dúzia de minutos de patetice e amadorismo. Isso seria como eu dizer que o Bound for Glory foi um mau ppv, por achar que o booking do Bobby Roode foi miserável. E sim, mesmo com o heel turn não deixo de achar idiótico o booking do Roode, mesmo mais recentemente.

Por alguma razão foi para mim o pior ppv da WWE este ano, mas quando o main-event do teu show nem existe porque um dos lutadores está com uma moca tão grande que nem sabe bem onde está, tu nem podes comparar. A Wrestlemania foi uma desilusão, com duas decisões em especial que não foram as melhores, mas em que quem pagou teve o que lhe foi prometido. Houve bons combates, houve segmentos engraçados, mas a promo inicial do The Rock arrastou-se demais, o Lawler devia ter arrumado com o Cole e o main-event não devia ter acabado daquela forma apesar de ser a mais óbvia. Toda a gente sabia que o The Rock iria tramar o Cena e que provavelmente também mandava o Miz às urtigas. O Taker vs HHH foi bom para o seu propósito. Conseguiu meter o pessoal a acreditar que a streak podia acabar criando emoção. O Randy Orton vs Punk não foi assim tão mau e o opener foi bom. De facto o problema foi simplesmente que um gajo olhou para o card antes e olhou depois para o ppv e ficou aquém do esperado, mas se olharmos isoladamente para o ppv, na minha opinião só houve aquelas 3 falhas claras que referi. No main-event o meu problema maior nem foi o The Rock apanhar o Cena desprevenido e depois estragar a festa do Miz (apesar de ter defeitos óbvios), foi mesmo terem feito aquele primeiro final de combate com a dupla contagem. Quebrou completamente o combate.

 

Estamos em campos diferentes. Eu estou a tentar comparar os ppv's pela qualidade intrínseca e tu estás a comparar expectativas/qualidade que é perfeitamente válido, obviamente. :compinchas:

Não acho que a Wrestlemania tenha sido má.

 

Tivemos um combate bastante bom entre o Cody Rhodes e o Rey Mysterio e não esquecer o combate entre Orton e Punk que deve ter sido o melhor da noite, a seguir ao Undertaker vs HHH, que foi um grande combate.

 

Portanto, três grandes combates e dois razoáveis entre o Miz e o Cena e o Del Rio e o Edge e admito que esperava um pouco mais destes dois combates.

 

Quanto ao resto, foi fraquito, mas já se esperava.
