Sexto lugar que nesta época é perfeitamente aceitável e normal. Sexto clube mais rico da liga, sexto nos ordenados. Para não falar que vendemos mais do que gastamos. Tudo acima de sexto esta época seria overachieve. O plantel não é grande coisa também. Para o ano pode ser que com 5 ou 6 reforços bons se lute pelo quarto lugar. Mas não me chateia andar na Liga Europa.

Sterling informa treinador que quer sair

Rahem Sterling já informou o treinador Brendan Rodgers que não vai renovar contrato com o Liverpool e que pretende deixar o clube no final da presente temporada.

Na base da decisão do jogador está o facto de o Liverpool não ter conseguido o apuramento para a Liga dos Campeões, segundo informações vinculadas por vários órgãos de informação ingleses.

Segundo a BBC, os responsáveis do Liverpool vão reunir com o jogador ainda esta semana numa última tentativa de persuadi-lo a renovar o contrato que termina em 2017.

Breaking news: Scott Sinclair makes permanent Villa move

Winger here for four years.

 

 

Scott Sinclair is looking forward to a bright claret and blue future after Premier League survival triggered a permanent move from Manchester City.

 

The winger is now committed to the club for the next four years after initially signing on a loan deal in January for the rest of the 2014-15 term.

 

Sinclair has impressed with some fine wing displays since that New Year move.

 

He has scored three goals since arriving - a fine effort in the FA Cup quarter-final with West Brom, one in the previous round against Leicester City and a headed effort against Stoke in Tim Sherwood's first game in charge.

 

The former Swansea star is excited about the coming years - and eager to show his quality for the club.

 

He said: "I am so happy.

 

"We've had a fantastic end to the current season - and now I am already looking forward to the new season starting.

 

"It's also great for me and the family to be settled now.

Não estou a ver para onde vai o Sterling. Em Inglaterra só deve querer ir para o City ou Chelsea mas duvido que paguem o que o Liverpool quer. No Barça e no Real não tem espaço, no caso do Real pode ter caso o Bale saia e era uma contratação brutal. Depois há o Bayern e de facto curtia vê-lo nas mãos do Pep.

Cabe bem no Real. Faz os lugares todos do meio-campo para a frente.

Quando digo caber é ir para um clube onde ele tem de ser titular regularmente. No Real, caso o Bale não saia, não vejo como isso pode acontecer. Já custa ver o Isco que, apesar de agora até jogar bastante, em condições normais não é titular.
