Quando aos atrasos desta semana, no subreddit de One Piece um user falou sobre a situação:

I posted this in the spoiler thread back when people were in denial so I may as well elaborate on the reason why the chapter is late this week.

Firstly: The MangaPanda arrests - On November 13, 3 individuals were arrested for acquiring, scanning and leaking One Piece from Weekly Shonen Jump. The 3 Chinese men from MangaPanda were apprehended by police and a warrant was served to the 69 year old Japanese deliveryman who supplied the MangaPanda Raw Provider team.

With the apprehension of these individuals, especially the 69 year old Japanese man, the sources for Japanese leaked magazines were obliterated in pretty much one fell swoop. In this case they stopped the fastest source for Jump manga, which many scanlation teams relied on for their releases.

From there MangaPanda lost their raw provider and had nobody to give them early manga anymore. In fact, they still don't have a raws source. Now, you may be wondering, but they released Chapter 807 at a relatively good timeframe on Thursday which is when we usually get our chapters right??!! Here's the thing, last weeks issue of Weekly Shonen Jump (#52) had an official street date of November 21 which is a Saturday, because the following Monday (November 23) was a public holiday in Japan.

Prior to the arrests we got these holiday issues of the magazine on Wednesday which was what constituted an early release by most scanlation standards. However, MangaPanda still without a raw provider resorted to acquiring the Chinese scanlation of the One Piece chapter and retranslating it into English. This meant that they didn't have to rely on a raw provider for the moment but they were bottlenecked to whenever Ishuhui released their Chinese scanlation. So for those wondering if MangaPanda will release anytime soon, don't count on it. Ishuhui have posted that they expect to release the One Piece chapter on Friday and so MangaPanda will have to release after Friday...

Now to the issue of MangaStream, in all the aforementioned dilemmas they came out mostly unscathed, however due to the losses of the deliveryman, they're schedule also slipped from Thursday to Friday and for an early release in Japan they ended up releasing their scanlations on Friday morning (Japan Time-ish) so now that Jump is back to the Monday release schedule they'll most likely be pushed 1 day back. Now it all depends on their sources and how long they take but MS aren't planning on releasing anytime soon supposedly because of Thanksgiving day according to their Facebook page, however most of their team isn't based from within the US because they'd be working on Jump during absurd hours of the night every week.

So that brings us to this week. Some people have the magazine already and are taking candid photos, but none are daring to mess with scanlators, so we have a situation where spoilers are trickling out but no scans will be available...

To those who thought I was a madman for suggesting a Friday/Saturday scan release, have at it. Cravings must suck...

Como é possível alguém preferir alguma que não a primeira a esta? :o A 4 até deve ser aquela de que gostei menos.Tem alguns momentos bons, mas os maus são péssimos.

No reddit fizeram logo essa comparação no 1º capítulo. Pessoalmente nunca vi Mirai Nikki e nunca me pareceu algo que fosse gostar, portanto... :mrgreen:

A premissa também é uma competição para escolher um novo deus, mas não existem anjos, nem poderes especiais para além de telemóveis que ditam o futuro. É um manga bem porreiro, por acaso. Muito marado dos cornos e por vezes doentio, até. Mas acho que por ser assim que cativa o leitor. Eras capaz de gostar.

Apesar de partirem do mesmo ponto, analisando bem os trabalhos anteriores dos mangakas de Platinum End, acabamos por perceber que há tanto por onde levar a estória que as semelhanças devem ficar-se por aqui.
