“Close up”
Este é bem capaz de ser o filme mais puro e honesto que já vi, apesar de a ilusão e a deceção serem temas centrais. Mesmo dentro da ilusão, da fraude, encerram-se verdades. Esta é uma obra de arte que podia ser emparelhada com o livro “The Prophet”, do Kahlil Gibran, pois há conceitos que se complementam, se ilustram e se informam.

Hoje vi “Rope” (e gostei bastante), o que perfaz o meu 10.º filme do Alfred Hitchcock. Em ordem de preferência:

Fui ver o Le Mans 66, o som esteve soberbo. E claro é sempre um prazer ver o Bale.

Vi o Texas Chainsaw Massacre. O último terço disto eleva claramente o filme na minha consideração. O que até então não estava a ser mais do que um average filme de terror teve naqueles trinta minutos finais umas sequências fantásticas. Fiquei mesmo contente que não tenham tido "medo" de levar o filme a um patamar superior, principalmente com a cena à mesa de jantar que despertou em mim um forte sentimento de repulsa e de desconforto. Há shots mesmo incríveis nessa cena.

Mpts, já é prai a terceira vez q apanho "only god forgives" do Refn a dar no Hollywood. Isto vale a pena ver? É que sempre que passo pelo filme na TV fico sempre encantado com isto. No entanto o filme n tem lá muito boa fama online.

Claro, mas ainda não ter visto ninguém online dizer q o filme é bom é um bocado duvidoso. Não fossem os ratings e não teria forma de filtrar os milhões de filmes que existem, e provavelmente perderia o meu tempo a ver muito mau filme, não? 😄 Só queria mesmo saber se alguém daqui já tinha visto. Porque, embora a cena particular que apanho sempre na televisão me cative bastante, o filme até pode ser uma bela m*rda no todo - e podia usar essas duas horas para ver algo de qualidade. 

Mas lá está. Até pode ser que eu faça parte dos 5% que gostam do filme. E isso é uma possibilidade, e como tal, tens a tua razão também.

Mas como é que vais saber se é mau sem nunca o teres visto? Os filmes são para serem vistos, é a única maneira de os avaliar. E se está a dar na TV e tens interesse em ver, vê.

E como é que vais saber o que é de qualidade para substituir o que é mau?

É importante desenvolvermos o nosso próprio gosto e os nosso próprios critérios, e isso inclui ver filmes maus, também. Só assim é que vamos saber do que é que gostamos ou não gostamos.
