O lugar é da equipa, não é dos jogadores. Por algum motivo os NiP mudaram imenso o roster em determinada altura e tudo continuou na normalidade, se o lugar fosse dos jogadores isso não era permitido. Isso é o mesmo que se para a próxima época o Sporting deixar sair 6 dos 11 jogadores com mais minutos a verdade desportiva ficasse posta em causa. Os jogadores saíram porque os Lemondogs, aparentemente, não são uma organização que lhes possa dar as mesmas condições que as outras, portanto decidiram sair. Foi uma decisão deles, arriscaram e, ao contrário do esperado, deram-se mal.

 

A questão da verdade desportiva é que, se calhar, isto já estava praticamente a ser falado no início e os jogadores nem sequer se esforçaram por aí além para manter a equipa na LCS, fazendo assim com que outra equipa, basicamente, ganhasse um lugar à borla. Não me surpreenderia por aí além.

Mas eu concordo com isso (embora ache que os KMT não ganharam o lugar à borla e vão provar isso na LCS), no que diz respeito aos jogadores saírem dos NiP foi um risco para eles que correu mal e perde-se verdade desportiva se puderem comprar o lugar e ficar tudo bem.

 

Agora também sinto que ter estes novos LD também não está correcto, não acho justo escolher-se assim uma equipa e colocá-los na LCS sem terem dado grandes provas. Sinto pena ao ver as reacções deles ao sentirem-se enganados pelos LD (que andam a encher os bolsos na LCS) mas não consigo achar justo entrarem para a LCS vindos do nada, já que mudaram a equipa toda deveriam ter que passar por promoções, na minha opinião.

 

Não gosto da organização dos NiP por abusarem da capacidade económica que têm para resolver problemas mas também não consigo dos LD, é que foram uma organização que meteu os jogadores a viver em hóteis, a treinar nos estúdios da ESL, perdeu os jogadores todos por não terem oferecido o mínimo de condições e foram buscar uma equipa qualquer para tentarem ganhar mais dinheiro ao vender o lugar na LCS (não acredito que os LD pensem em participar nisto também) enganando os jogadores escolhidos e andando desaparecidos e não dando explicações à equipa (o ShLaYa tweetou qualquer coisa a dizer que o chefe anda desaparecido e não fala com eles).

 

Edit: Mudei partes relativas aos LD porque vi depois que os TFS tinham conseguido apuramento para o qualificador para a promoção.

Estava tudo mais do que acordado há uns 10 dias. O deficio está a mentir descaradamente sobre isso "nunca ter sido opção". Ao que parece foi a Riot, à ultima, a meter um travão, com o argumento que o caso dos EG era diferente uma vez que os NiP tinham falhado a qualificação e que comprando o lugar agora seria apenas desvirtuar tudo.

 

E os spots pertencem às organizações e não aos jogadores. Tanto é que nós na altura cedemos o nosso spot aos NiP.

 

Os KMT tem o manager mais retardado da história dos eSports. O Flyyy tem uma séria demência :funny: . O rapaz gosta de ser o centro das atenções e acredito que ainda não há fumo branco porque o gajo simplesmente gosta de ter um papel de destaque, acompanhado de muitos euros. Ainda há uns meses me chateava dia e noite (deixava-me mais de 15 mensagens no skype) a dizer que tinha um grande negócio para os CW, mas que tinha de ter garantias que ele ia ser bem pago, que a vida não estava fácil etc. lol

Acho que até é o Aranae que trata dessa parte... Não sei se é verdade, acho que isto foi dito com base no anúncio dos Millenium, mas se for o gajo é espanhol mas não é burro.

Ou seja, vai este roster dos LD à LCS? Damn, não estava muito à espera, sobretudo tendo as notícias do Mithy voltar à gaming house dos NiP e assim. Parece que estão a investir forte na Coke Zero então, o Nukeduck também já veio dizer que "os rumores eram falsos". Já sabemos quem vai às relegations pelo menos com aquele roster :lol:

UPDATE ON LEMONDOGS & LCS RULE CHANGES

 

Summoners,

 

We wanted to update you on two situations that have created confusion and speculation in the community: the Lemondogs roster for the 2014 EU LCS Spring Split and our rules regarding acquiring LCS team spots and bringing on new players.

 

With respect to Lemondogs’ participation in the 2014 Spring Split, we have attempted to work with Lemondogs management over the last few weeks to get the documents and information – such as a verified roster - required by every team that participates in the LCS. Unlike the other teams, Lemondogs failed to identify a valid roster to us, and as a result, have been given a final deadline of 11:59pm CEST on January 8th, or they will face removal from the LCS. If they fail to meet this deadline, we will hold a qualifier for the open 8th LCS spot with the three teams that lost in the Promotion matches (Ninjas in Pyjamas, Meet Your Makers, and Supa Hot Crew), pending those teams’ ability to submit a valid roster that contains 3/5s of the lineup that played during Promotions.

 

Additionally, many of you have been discussing the rumors surrounding Lemondogs’ potential roster and rumored sale, so we’d like to clarify our philosophy on how teams enter the league. We created the Promotion mechanism to ensure that the best teams are represented in the LCS. While we want to preserve a lot of the rights of those teams (such as the freedom to change their roster in order to field the best team possible, or selling to a new, passionate owner), we don’t want to let those rights marginalize the competitive integrity inherent in the Promotion mechanism.

 

As we’ve examined our rules, we realized that they do not completely match our intent. Below are a set of rules that we’re adding to the LCS rulebook in order to prevent teams who failed to qualify for the LCS from buying their way in; a situation we saw as quite likely and one that we believe is contrary to your interests as fans of the LCS.

 

Here are the rules that we are adding to the LCS rulebook, and why we think they are necessary:

 

In section 3.1: No Team Member on a team who played in either LCS region and/or any aspect of the Challenger Series (including play-in) may purchase or otherwise attempt to own/control an LCS team without a complete Split having taken place since their last point of participation in the LCS or Challenger Series.

Rationale: Per the philosophy above, we do not want to marginalize a team’s efforts and successes in the Promotion matches simply because another owner has deep pockets and wants to buy back into the LCS.

 

In section 3.1: Changes in Ownership may only occur between Splits, meaning after the most recent Playoffs and Promotion Matches but before the start of the following Split.

Rationale: We think that mid-Split ownership changes are confusing to fans and not beneficial to the Players, so we want to limit those changes to the All Star break or the offseason.

 

In section 3.2: No team may have on their roster more than two players at a time from any single starting lineup of a different team that played in either region of the LCS and/or any aspect of the Challenger Series (including play-in) in the last two completed Splits.

Rationale: While we want to preserve the ability of teams to pick up new players and change their roster, we do not want them to pick up entire existent lineups and essentially drop in a new team (and we consider a team to be 3/5 or more of the starters). This will prevent teams who lose in the Promotion matches from being picked up in their majority or entirety. Taken in conjunction with the restriction on owners’ ability to purchase a team, this rule should prevent immediate buybacks in their entirety.

 

In section 4.2.1: Per Section 3.2, no team may trade for more than 2 players of another LCS team.

Rationale: Just a clarification based on the updated rule in Section 3.2.

EG is the title sponsor of Velocity, no sale took place. Going forward with the updated rules, an LCS team like Velocity will not be able to pick up 3/5 members of a LCS/Challenger team from the previous two splits. We won't enforce this rule on any player moves prior to this rule update.

Segundo o que a Riot tinha dito (quotado pelo Shaft Ketchum) será um playoff entre SHC, NiP e MYM mas é questão de esperar por algo oficial

Pelo que entendi não há alterações nos MYM ou nos NiP para a qualificação, mas os SHC vão jogar com o Rallez em vez do Haydal. É um melhoramento sério. Vai ser muito interessante de ver.

So as you know NIP & LD have some kind of partnership running (I won't get into details because I don't even know them) After 3 players of LD left to NIP, LD had a strange aura around them an aura of "unsecured spot" They denied that the spot was "unsecured" and so ImSoFresh, Crazycaps, Zeriouz, Myw and me trusted the orga even if we had some warned from "top elo players" .

They asked us, the current BOTA LD team to play for them and we agreed about that. After NIP lost people started to talk about our spot going to NIP. The Spot that was actually in negotiation (else we would have moved to our Gaming House in cologne at the 2nd ofjanuary. So in fact there was a chance that NIP get the spot). When we heard that some of LD staff started to leave because they guaranteed us a LCS spot, we started to fear the final decision and we (players) didn't thought this could ever happen because we signed contrats after the BOTA event and we felt secured.

Finally we got the spot, but with all the pressure on us, the lack of practice (due to this unsecured spot), and the atmosphere added on top some of us got demotivated about the situation and kinda left by themselves (pressure of result, "non-deserved" spot and the team atmospher due to some losing scrim) After that SHC got approched and a new rule appeared just the day after. and finally we couldn't get the entiere line up of SHC and so some people got rejected (from both sides SHC & LD BOTA)... Finally we had our players ready and we signed contracts (people from SHC) and I went to sleep before midnight since everything seemed to be "OK" and I when I woke up I heard some infos were apparently missing and riot took the decision to take away the LD spot.

Like all of you i was wondering what may have been missing and i truely couldnt immagine anyone from us failing to fill the contract appropriate. So after some investigation i found out what happend. As you might know a contract needs to have signings and informtions from both partys Player and Organisation. So when LD submitted the Pages we filled out they failed to sign and fill them out by themself. Thats the only reason the paperwork was rightfully seen as not sufficent. In the end all that is left is a real bitter taste as players and their dreams got treatent as they were worth nothing. If that happend on purpose or not we wont ever know but what happend to me and the others is an experience no one should make.

Now I want to say something about the "non-deserved" spot. Some of us LEFT the LCS qualifier (cf : Crazycaps & Zeriouz qualified under the tag TFS) to get a secure position and play with Fresh, Myw and myself. Fresh & Me got DQed first qualifier of LCS for a never resolved DDoS issue, and got a bit demotivated (I felt the story repeated once more with aAa with linak problem and the sub problem get a SK a freeslot for LCS) and we failed the 2nd one by being equal with SHC, and K3. Finally we lost to both of them after a B01 match between M, SHC & K3. And some of us left their job. Before that some others top players/teams got asked by LD but didn't got picked up by the LD staff and some "main" players from LD. In other cases the offer was from LD got rejected. If you have any questions feel free to ask me (I might miss some informations). My english can be bad (French you know...) but its basically what happened.
